Hi,
I have sbicard which i had subscribed on 8th March 2006. I have been used since that and always made the payment before due date even you can checked the track record of the settlement payment. Only in the month of August 2010 I had made the late payment due to personal problem where in that month 22nd august was the due date but I had settled the payment on 3rd sept 2010 before settling down the payment spoke to sbicard customer care to understand what would be the late payment charges and the person whom I had spoken his name is Mr. Vijay in regard to charges he had told sir you had late payment charges and overcrossing limit charges and thereon we had discussed briefly regarding charges and asked waiver on late payment charges as per my past track record of payment settlement of sbicard. He agreed and asked me to make the payment. After that from sept 2010 to till date I have never done any transaction through sbi card and shocking to know without made any transaction came to know on 05/05/2011 from sbi card dept that they are claiming that I have due payment of Rs 3803 on 22/05/2011. Where is my mistake in this even the last payment settlement made with charges only with small wavier if that time you could have told me that wavier cant possible I would have proceed as per amount.
Now on 05/05/2011 I have called the sbi card customer care number and raised this issue and they have provided me Service request number[protected].
Please help in this issue.

    Sir,

    I've heared State Bank of India is accessible all over India. My account is at Tirur Branch, Kerala and I'm working at Hzt. Nizamuddin Delhi.

    When I approached SBI Nizamuddin to deposit cash in my account, they say only sum above 10,000 is depositable for accounts other than Nizamuddin Branch.

    Another Time, I went to same branch for a demand draft in favor of a person in new delhi. but, a lady in the counter told me that only accountees from the same branch can make demand drafts from there.

    Is it justified or Can I complain against it to authorities?

    hello shafiq,
    there is no limitation on such cash deposit.
    u can deposit any minimum sum in ur a/c from any branch.
    there is sometime limitation on maximum cash deposit

      SBI C&I has systematically engaged in gross and horrendous irregularities i handing my accounts. I have recently discovered these irregularities and have been asking SBI C&I to come clean. I have approached the branch to provide me necessary information but it is dragging its feet. I have sent the copies my request to agm.[protected]@sbi.co.in, dgm.[protected]@sbi.co.in, cm.[protected]@sbi.co.in, and [protected]@sbi.co.in.

      All these institutions have just passed the buck to SBI C&I while the Chairman has not bothered to acknowledge my request to date. even the Ombudsman appear to wash it hand as well.

      I can provide detailed time line of the irregularities if needed with proof.

      Please help me to get the information and sort out the mess created by SBI C&I.

        I was having a PPF Account in Seethamdhara Branch, Vishakhapatnam, A.P., since[protected].

        When I was transferred to Kolkata, W.B., I transferred my PPF Account, but because of some error from Bank's side, a new PPF Account was opened by the Barrackpore Railway Station Branch, Kolkata, W.B.

        The Amount was transferred to this new Account and I was assured that I will not lose any interest.

        But when I am checking the interest credited, I found only Rs.603/- is credited, which I find to be wrong for a balance Rs.32144/-.

        In Mar-2010, for a balance of Rs.10144/-, I was credited a interest of Rs.631/-.

        I've raised a complaint through Online SBI complaint form twice vide complaint ticket no given below -

        CC[protected] on 4th April 2011.
        CC[protected] on 5th May 2011.

        I've addressed mail to sbihelpline.[protected]@sbi.co.in twice as well on the same dates mentioned above.

        I'm yet to get a solution for the same.

            I am RAMDAYAL BHATT had been withdraw Rs. 2000/- from the SBI ATM Police Line, Chamba Tehri, Uttrakhand with dated of 24.04.2011.
            But the amount has been deducted twice from my account with same Transaction no 7027.

            Regarding this i have already lodge the complain to Customer Care on 28.04.2011 and the Ticket no is: AT[protected]. Still my deducted amount hasn't been credited to my SBI A/c till dated and the statement has been attached with this mail.

              i was made to apply for sbi school plus loan back in the year 2005. hoping that it would not take a year, i borrowed money for school construction a sum of Rs.10,0000/- (rupees ten lakhs) only for school up-gradation and construction @ 6% per month. the process was delayed from time to time with the deputation of several branch managers for the last 6 years. unable to bear the harassment, i retrieved all the documents pertaining to loan application (my file) from the bank and is now lying with me for verification if anyone does not believe my complaint. now my questions:
              1. why was i made to apply if there is no possibility to sanction the loan?
              2. who is going pay back the money i spent in arranging the necessary documents?
              3. can justice be done now?

              Hi Jam, We are in the same boat, brother ! I have also applied for my School a sum of Rs 1400000 (Fourteen lacks). My file is still lying in the bank's office (lpc). The LPC manager said it is OK, only finally I'd like to inspect your school. Now I have been waiting for his man to come and inspect my school for two months still hoping the loan will be sanctioned.

I have already requested to cancel my SBI Credit card on 28th April 2008, 5th October, 2008, 15th December 2009 & 18th August 2010 through Phone & letters. But I have not been intimated about it so far. Please confirm the cancellation of my SBI Credit card.

                      I am Ritika from rajasthan. I have a bank account in bank of baroda. My a/c no is -[protected] . On 1 may 2011 during cash withdrawl from SBI atm (address-sec.70 mautour mohali Punjab). cash not dispensed through atm ( because atm machine get hang) but my account debited .In branch, the related officers doesn't take any interest on this problame.
                      My account has been debite wrongly of 2000 rs during withdrawl cash through atm. I contact to SBI & BOB customer but no one solve my problem please help me …. Please take action against sbi bank

                        SBI ATM Complaints - cash not receive but amount debited in my account . My SBI ATM card is for Main branch pune. I used that card in HDFC , Magarpatta branch pune . 10000/- transaction missed out but money get deducted from my SBI A/C.

                        This is Naga Sekhar. I have an account in SBI,Kothapet Branch, Guntur. I have tried to get an amount of Rs.1,900/- from SBI ATM, Pattabhipuram, Guntur. ATM machine shown "please collect cash". But the amount has not come out from the machine and the amount was deducted from my account.                         Dear consumerThese type of transactions called disputes. Any atm dispute is resolved at centralised reconcilitaion department of every bank. In this regard You need to go to your bank (SBI) and give complaint.They will resolve the issue in 14 working days .If that not happen then you can go to any other legal proceedings. I am also working for a bank as an officer.this is the way we resolve the issues.

                        Dear sir i am nithya from coimbatore completed BTech IT in 2011 next i have planned to do Msc in UK, for educational loan i have gone through Sbi website, there is an online registration for candidates who are applying for educational loan i have filled, atlast which branch are you like to choosen?i selected the bank in my area SBI Branch trichy Road, singanallur, they provided application number, i have taken the application form print out and approached the bank, nearly half and hour i didnt get any response just they asked me to wait, then i met the branch manager, he didnt even see any of my particulars i said that i registered through online this is my application number as but his question is which ward you are?i have seen my ration card and i said 7th ward within a sec he says that that's not not our ward you go and apply somewhere how can i know which bank provides loan for my ward?if this is means why they are offering online application form registration everything...and giving option that which branch are you like to choosen?

                          I have got TATA SBI card, Iam not happy with the sevices.
                          To make an online payment I cant add this card to my payee list and if i drop a cheque that will bounce too . All the time i have to wait for an executive to call me and collect the cash from me with extra late fee payment charges.
                          I have communicated the same to the TATA SBI card people and the executives but no one has answer for this issue, the only advice they gave me is to wait for executive n do payment with extra charges.

                          What you have to understand is that banks are out to make money and they like people to pay late. thats why they havent dealt with our complaint. more over when it reaches a forum like this what banks do to still hold their name is send you a generic replyu like the one above. I can assure you othat even if you send them an email you will get a generic reply form hem saying that THEY ARE SORRY FOR THE INCONVIENCE THEY HAVE CAUSED YOU but the truth is they will still not have this updated and in the end you will suffer.                             This is complaint regarding customer services at yours SBI branch Opera House, Mumbai 400004. It is very sad to say as SBI is our 1 national bank but services provided to customer are zero. When ever we go to Opera House SBI Branch always there is a outlet showing no Out SBI cash will be deposited. Why like this? when all SBI Banks having core banking. Why they always asked us to go to another branch?
                            We are really feed up with this service of SBI branch Opera House. I have already register complain at there office register but no response yet.

                            SBI Credit Cards are the worst in the market. They have the highest number of complaints against them in the banking ombudsman. They will debit your account with the premium of SBI Life insurance etc. (their products) without your knowledge and if you miss it you are in the trap. So friends beware of SBI cards and if you are using them stop now or else face the music later.
                            SBI Card Customer Service number[protected] is inaccessible always. Some other numbers that I found on the Internet[protected] and[protected] do not even exist. What sort of a Bank is this? Boasts of being the best bank in India..... what a joke?!

                            SBI Credit Card — Cheque Dispute

                            Hi,
                            I paid Rs.3000 on 3/12/07 by cheque towards my SBI Credit Card. This cheque has been already cleared by my bank(ICICI)on 5/12/07. But it's not credited in my SBI Card a/c till date. I have called up their customer care several times but nothing has happened so far. They have also late fee charges on my card. This is the worst ever service I have ever seen in my life.
                            STATE BANK OF INDIA CARDS & PAYMENTS SERVICES PVT LTD, GURGAON IS PLAYING GAMES WITH THE CREDIT CARD HOLDERS. THEY ARE NEITHER SENDING THE STATEMENTS IN DETAIL NOR DESPATCHING THE STATEMENT IN TIME.

                            PLZ TAKE ACTION AGAINST THIS COMPLANE SOON AS SOON POSIBLE

                            This is to bring to your notice that bieng a very old customer of the bank I am not getting proper treatment and follow ups regarding my issue

                            Few years back, I went there for gettig information related to Car Loan, the Manager's attitude, delay in the said process stopped me of thinking about availing a loan from SBI, IOC Complex. The same process was repeated when I tried to enquire about Home Loan, The Bankers told me in an authoritative language that taking an Insurance along with the Loan is compulsory. The premium of that Insurance was not justified according to my senses, when I refused to take Insurance, they straight away counter-refused me for providing a Home Loan.

                            Well, I called up a Private Bank and availed both Home Loan and Car Loan one after the another. The same process was repeated for the personal Loan case.

                            Recently, I visited the Bank and some of my query was not answered well by the branch manager.The query was related to ECS Facility. Nobody guided me on how to stop the ECS going out from my account, I wrote and tried to submit a letter but no one took that letter from me. The BM didnt showed any concern towards my query rather humiliated me.

                            Harassing a normal customer by SBI



                            Sir,

                            Currently I am having a very horrible experience with the SBI. I had taken a credit card from SBI bank . I have not received any e- mail or any statement stating that there is something outstanding on my card, and I told the SBI executive by phone from Delhi that I have not receive any statement but they don’t take any step and they also charged the late fine. As a normal customer how will I know these procedures for harassing the customer. I need help.

                            i am ajoy barua residing in kolkata this is to inform you that im been regurlarly harresd by Sbi bank ...the thing that really happend was that my mom had a sbi credit card and once she misplaced it and hence was misused...although when we got the statement we had settled the cost to the bank by paying the expences but although after canceling the card the bank calls everytime for the sum of 7500rs as of insurance which we were not notified to us in the begining by an agent of that bank. we were only told that this was a lifetime free card.in which we only pay for the expences we make on the card.Even what the bank did was that on the card they imprinted name as "A.Barua" not as anita barua we are now being given leagl orders for which we even were not notified of kindly help us in this matter as the bank is always calling and harressing us for the same..

                            We are manufacturer of mini rice mill,
                            deals all over U.P. and M.P. through dealers. Few days ago a party ordered us for few machines over phone and deposited the quoted amount through SBI Gaya branch CBS branch. when we enquired to our Local Branch they informed us that it is being credited our A/c by the Amount Rs. 310000/- on dated 12.09.2007.After few days we delivered the machine to that person through Transport. But after near about 10 months on dated 27.07.08 suddenly we got a letter No.Accts.6/132 of the Chief Manager of Gaya Branch that our A/c is being debited by Rs. 310000/-. In reason they explained that " as per letter of Central Bank of India Gaya vide letter No. 68/08-09/77 dated 23.07.08 they stated the demand drafts are forged . Is it a true step to debit an account by this way. is there is our fault. Now where from we get our money. We are not guilty it was duty of the bank to check the genuinity of the instrument at least at the time of the clearence. But they failed to do so and now they are doing mallpractice by doing so.Even we complained to our RBO office, Zonal Office but they are neither taking any step against that officer nor giving me back our money. Just orally they are saying that you will get the same and that officer will be punished.
                            So we are requesting to you that please arrange to return my lost ammount as soon as possible in between we are paying interest on that amount too.
                            I had transfered money from my SBI (salt lake, kolkata-91)to HDFC A/C(kolkata-91) on 01-Nov-2008 through NEFT (Credit Reference no SBINH[protected].Money was debited from SBI A/C, but not yet credited into HDFC A/C even after 5 day's.Please find Screen shot of my transaction.
                            As per NEFT Help Desk"The transaction got rejected because of some technical issues at SBI end."If the transaction is failed due to techincal problem at ABI end.Why they are not taking matter seriously

                            Request to solve as my money kept idle & no assurance of refund from any side.

                            i have withdrawn money 5000/- from icici ATM (PCS, MAHAPE NAVI MUMBAI) on 26-Nov-2008 .ATM didn't dispach money, transaction was declined(TXN NO 6473). from SBI A/C money debited with the same trasaction number(TXN NO 6473). i filed a complaint at my A/c SBI branch (langerhouse, Hyderabad).and also i communicated with ICICI bank people At mumbai, the icici bank people told that no one is communicated regarding that transaction.Why the SBI bank people are not taking matter seriously

                            I am acustomer of SBI, PBB branch, Jamshedpur. I have a home loan A/c. The EMI of loan is 3321/- per month. EMI started from Jan09.
                            Problem is that from Jan09 to till now each and every month three(3) nos of EMI amount deducted from my SB A/C, I went to branch and written application submitted and they returned my amount and also they promissed that this will not happened next month. This month (March09) again same problem occured and one extra EMI deducted.
                            Do needful as early as possible that this problem not come in future.

I have paid the final outstanding Rs 2, 037.33 dated 18/04/2009 and account status shows as on date 30/04/2009 is .00 balance at internet. But as on date 06/05/2009 account status shows at internet my due balance is Rs 90.00 As a normal customer how will I know these procedures for harassing the customer. I need help.

And authority assured me several times the disbursement would be done on due date which was basically 23rd july, 09.

                            But I am sorry say that since the n no disbursement has been done despite several reminder and every occasion they assured me this will happen today itself.Just to let you know who will pay the late fee penalty which is due to intentional delay of disburesement.

                            Hope you will look into the matter wih highest priority to expedite the disburement process.

Earlier i have used a SBI Credit Card & i have settled amount of 17, 200/-.I have all the Settlement documents of SBI Credit Card.

                            For Personal Loan from HDFC Bank, I have submitted Settlement Letter & my latest SBI statement to HDFC Bank & also personal loan officer of HDFC Bank talks with SBI customer care & found there is no due of SBI Credit Card from my side.

                            Still HDFC Bank Officer is not agreed for Personal Loan, according to them in Civil Investigation some Right Off shown. After Paying all amount, I do not understand why Right Off shown in my civil investigation.

                            SBI,Savings A/C — no response to service requests

                            I have a savings bank A/c at SBI,Civil lines,Godhra,Gujarat( bank code 0375). I had applied for the account to be made an auto sweep or MOD with the manager, 10 months ago but no action has been taken on it. The bank manager simply quoted initially that he is ignorant about the scheme,then after about two months said that the software is being procured,and the end result is that 10 months and a bank like SBI, out put is zero. I just want to know that if they are getting paid don't they ever feel like doing their duty, I spoke to the regional manager at ahmedabad but no action has been taken and everytime evasive excuses are made.
                            My account balance varies from 2 lacs to 8 lacs and due to this lackadaisical approach of the bank,I am losing out about 4% of interest unnecessarily.I hope after writing to you some action is taken.
                            MY E-STATEMENT SEND TO ME
                            Sir,
                            I am the customber of SBI, Sikandra Branch (Br. Code - 3003) my Saving Bank A/c No. [protected]. On 11.06.2009 at about 17.00 hours while I was trying to withdraw Rs. 5000/- from ICICI ATM (ATM ID S1AD0988) located at Ambassador Hotel, Station Road, Patna-1 the ATM displayed "last transaction cancelled, network error". Again from the same ATM I tried to withdraw Rs. 2000/- which was a successful transaction. Thereafter, I again tried to withdraw the balance amout i.e. Rs. 3000/- but the ATM displayed again "last transaction cancelled, network error". However, I found that Rs. 8000/- (Rs. 5000/- + Rs. 3000/-) displayed as "last transaction cancelled, network error" was debited to my Account even though no cash was transacted through ATM.

                            It is, therefore, requested that necessary action may kindly be taken to trace out the wrong ATM transaction and credit my Saving Account at the earliest.

                            Now, let me give you the entire story in brief
                            Have made a purchase of Rs. 25k & Dropped the Cheque in the SBI Branch however from you agency we realized that he was not cashed.
                            Agency person came to me & asked for the fresh cheque (Given ICICI Cheque - Howevevr there was a black color marked on the amount hence ICICI didn't acknowledged the Cheque &ask me to issue another Cheque)
                            Agency person called me for the same & ask for another Cheque finally i gave them another cheque & it got cleared. (That time they said that i needn't give any other amount)
                            They charged me interest, I called up the same Agency they did not acknowledge the call. (This case is going on from 2005-06)
                            Meanwhile one person from Agency called me & said you need to pay some small money to stop the Interest going then we could fight for the rest hence i paid that)
                            Still its happening the same.
                            I have the required receipts for the same.
                            Now, Agency is calling me & asking me to pay a big amount since i haven paid without the settlement letter.
                            They are talking not nice on the phone.
                            I have the required document hence i would first writing you the mail & then would fight it out if wouldn't get any Reply
                            Planning to Complaint to IBA & RBI Body on the same. I am making you aware of the situation & Agency is harassing me with continuous calls & Unprofessional communications during my working hours.

                            SBI — Hopless Cusomer Service

                            SBI Kaymkulam branch, Kerala is the worst branch in customer service in India.
                            This is my personal experiece with kayamkulam branch. I am the account holder of Kayamkulam branch for more than 15 years. Last week vistited SBI Kayamkulam to submit a DD drawn by my uncle from US. (US Dolar DD). The concerned officer said that they cannot encash that DD. He said that they send it to another branch and it will take more than three months to encash it. He again said that if i agree with this i can submit it there. Otherwise he is helpless. I humbly explained to him that as this is a Demand Draft and not a Cheque and it will not take too much time as he said. But in arrogance he is not even ready to hear any thing from me regarding this. The chief manger is on leave. Nobody is there to help me in that brach. At last i gone to another bank and open an account and submitted the DD there. The easly accepted the DD and credited to my account. I lost a full day on this. It is shame for a bank like SBI that the concerned officer cannot differentiate between cheque and Demand Draft. Very pathetic.

                            After a long struggle Mr. Sumit sent me this email below and he wanted me to reinvest in other mutual funds so he could get some benefits of my investment. I refused to reinvest and told him that I have been having difficulties to communicate with you lot and I don't want to do any more business with you lot.

                            After a long struggle he redeemed my 3 investments and did not even bother to tell me the market price etc.

                            Now these cheques I told him to bank in my account in SBI which I arranged with Mr DK Gupta and Anil Verma, and left some money in that account what they told me to keep my account running. DK Gupta told me that there will not be any fees on that account and it will stay open for my Mutual funds if I want to redeem them any time in future and the account will stay active.

                            Now, SBI Ludhiana is telling me there was no such account, although I have got a cheque book and hand written and stamped account number buy DK Gupta, and they can’t find my account. They could find the old account which I had in Bombay and transferred in Ludhiana civil line, which was done by DK Gupta and now they can’t find it.

                            What kind of service is this?

                            I sent many email to Sumit and he does not reply, and don't want to pick up the phone because I am not happy with his service and he did not do what he suppose to do. I am really pissed off this kind of service.
                            Now they have handed these 3 cheques to my relative and we can’t do anything about them they are useless to me because I can’t bank them. Sumit did not have curtsey to communicate with me to sort this problem out. What a shame I have been nearly 50 years out of India and have seen SBI managers begging us in UK to give them some business and now SBI became a big Bank with the help o[censored]s NRI’s and they don’t care anymore.

                            I have an account in SBI with Credit Card, am operating this account from years. Last month I have purchased a item using Credit Card. Its almost a month back till know I have not received any bill from SBI, even I don't know the last date to pay the bill. I ringed customer care for so many times but there is no response, they are simply asking us to call back.

                            What is the solution for this problem??

                            i had gone to your M.M.M. Engg. College campus branch to have a draft of Rs. 1000/- to apply for M.tech in DTU.but the branch refused to issue draft on cash payment .when asked about the reason they told me that due to rush in the bank they do not make it by cash .i found the reason as in appropriate so i went to branch manager asking the same .she told me that due to lack of manpower in the branch they'll not make the drafts on the cash payment.when asked to give in writtenshe refused to give .

                            i'll like to ask whether is it right to force your customer to have a/c if they have to get a draft from your bank .having lack of manpower or having rush is the problem of ours or the bank ?......are we supposed to suffer for your lack of manpower or not able to handle the rush.

                            i'll hope that you'll take appropriate action against it and i'll be soon informed about all the actions taken.

                            I have registered sbi complaints on online one month ago. But till date no solutions in sbi side. I go to my home branch contact the particular person. They tell your query is solved with in 5 days. But till date not responding in sbi side. I have complaint registered no also. please help me. My conduct details given below:

                            Hi, I needed to transfer this account to Nasik C.B.S. branch and no body at Mehrauli branch was ready to help. This is an everytime harassment at the branch. No body wants to work and when you compalint to the branch manager you are more harassed. Today I went to get help to transfer my account and get my name changed to my married name. Firstly the lady behind the desk refused to find any branches in Nasik saying there are 100s of branches how would I find it you get the code first. When I gave her the exact name of teh branch she said go to the other brancg and pay R. 150/- and get the accoutn transferred. when I complained about this to teh Branch manager Pratap Singh who was not in his cabin for more than an hour. He said "Main kya karu ap unhi se baat karo". What did he mean? Did he mean he is just entitled to get salary and no work. I have taken all the money in my account out and abandoned this account. And will not pay any fee or charges which is SBI's most favorite passtime to levy on the customer and suck their blood.

                            State Bank of India — Treating customers badly

                            Hi,

                            I am having savings account (joint account with my father) in SBI. I am using Online banking for transactions. I used to book 5 or 6 railway tickets once in a month. My father is using pass book for viewing transactions. He is going to the branch and deposit/take money using the passbook. While doing the same, the branch officials are behaving too bad since he needs to print passbook. Since I am doing online transfers/purchase the print would need 3 or 4 pages but they don’t have patience at all and they are shouting like anything. If we go to take print on normal hours also they are asking us to come after working hours. One of the bankers shouted in front of all o[censored]s and also told that we should not do more transactions on saving account and asked us to create current account. They are treating the customers badly in Tenkasi SBI branch.

                            Is there any specific limits for transactions per day/month/year for saving account? For doing multiple online transactions do we need to create current account?

                            Has anyone realize just how lazy, rude and not-at-all customer friendly SBI employees are ?
                            I have always dreaded going to the SBI branch, any branch ... pick one and you will find the same kind of ill attitude employees.

                            I was applying for my passport and as an address proof I required a signed sealed statement of one year. The first time I went to the bank, the operation manager gave me a lecture of how printing it out at the bank is so tiresome and said, "next time you need it, go online, print it and get it here" .. Of course I paid for the print out. Rs.350 for 20 pages (I don't know how they do the calculation).

                            I need the same statement for the police verification today. So I promptly printed out the statement and reached the bank at 10am. I had to wait for half hr to find out that the operation manager is on leave. Then the branch manager refuse to sign the online statement. He said he had to print it at the bank itself and that can only happen at 1pm.

                            Now, let me tell you my story; I work for US clients so I end up reaching home at 5am ! So that means I have not had a wink of sleep for more than 15 hrs.

                            Back to the SBI, I had to finally call up some number given at the bank. Got the regional manager's number, who immediately called the branch manager. We got a very angry signature, but we got it by 11am.

                            May I mention, the regional manager was very courteous and efficient.

                            But SBI employees ??? Its like they are trained to be inefficient and rude !!!! By the way, this happened at the Koramangala, 3rd Block branch.
                            I want to activate my internet banking, I am in shillong & my account is in pune.How can I do this .

                            The royal sundaram people are detecting the money from my SBI credit card every year for Insurance renewals, so kindly make sure that your officials dont allow to the charge of this year 2012 for Royal Sundaram Insurance Company.We hope this information will be strictly followed by your officials as we are financially out.For this reason i am not paying the SBI Credit card money also.

                            I took loan for my higher studies we submitted all documents and they approved the loan for 1&amp;2 successfully. now the field officer is changed to new. now the new officer not approving my loan for last semester and I am facing a serious problem here in U.S. I submitted each and every document, that&#039;s the reason they approved loan for 1&amp;2 semester by previous field officer.                             SBI providing very worst customer service..Today I tried to call them to clarify my doubt about the e-statement but no one pick my call and am waiting almost 20 minutes. After that the call has ended automatically..Am totally disappointed and thinking to close the account in SBI. Every time am experiencing the same issue and am not able to clarify my doubts..Could you please change the contract or give more FTE's to provide service to customers...

                                  This is regarding my painful experience with the SBI Credit Card (Number [protected]) where since last 6 years I receive non receipt of payment harassing calls every now and then. Here goes the story-
                                  1. In 2006, on a regular visit to my bank (State Bank of Patiala) I was forced by a young girl to take on the SBI Credit Card. Although I am not a too keen with ATMs, Debit cards etc, I went ahead and took the card.
                                  2. I booked an air ticket with this card in June 2006. The transaction for getting the air ticket was done on
                                  3. The paying back to credit card was done with the Cheque number – 648694 (From my SBOP Account); Dated 2-8-2006 for a payment of INR 6748/-. The same was also cashed (before the billing cycle closure). PFA the debit details in attached receipt.
                                  4. Also another Cheque number- 648695 (From my SBOP Account); Dated[protected] was also cashed on[protected] in favor of SBI Credit Card.
                                  5. Even though the payments were made from my SBOP Account and timely received by SBI, their server goofed up and the records didn’t show the payments. Now started continuous harassing calls pestering me for non payments.
                                  6. I kept on receiving these calls from different people at different timings. After explaining several times over call and receiving harassing threats from them, I visited the SBI bank.
                                  7. That time the Manager Mr Sanjeev Kumar went through all the details of my cheques, payment date etc and certified that the payment was received well in time. This he also signed himself and provided in a certificate (PFA the same).
                                  8. Satisfied, I went home only to get calls as soon as the next manager came down. I had to again visit the bank and show all proofs to the new manager and he was satisfied. Also I submitted back the half torn credit card and a written complaint with the bank.
                                  9. This time, a new manager has again been hired in SBI, Chandigarh and I am daily receiving complete nuisance calls about the non-payment.
                                  All this since last 6 years is a huge inconvenience and regretful that a Bank like SBI could not make one correction in a transaction for which all the details are provided several times and the bank manager also gave a written certificate for!!!!
                                  I request a proper resolution to the issue ASAP or forced, I might have to take the issue in consumer court. Hope to hear from you soon.

                                  SBI Credit Card — Even after I paid, Harassment and forcing to pay again

                                  Hi,
                                  Few years ago, somewhere in 2002, I have got the SBI credit card, I made the purchase of petrol costing Rs.250. It was promised to me that there will no annual and joining fee will be charged, but, when I received the statement, joining fees was included with the purchase amount of Rs. 250.
                                  I had made the payment of Rs. 380. Also, i called SBI credit card customer care and registered my complaint. They promised me to look into this. But, when I received the next statement, there was no change.
                                  I called multiple times, but no action taken from SBI side. I requested from them to cancel /block my card as I was not interested is using their card due to their very poor service.
                                  But, even after calling them several times, called supervisors, managers but nothing happened. At this time I stopped calling them.

                                  After 1 year, I started receiving calls from SBI that i have not paid their outstanding, I have explained the whole story to everybody and told them that I had already paid Rs. 380 against the purchase of Rs 250. Also, requested them to cancel/block the card.
                                  One day I received call from Mr. Sanjeev Gupta (SBI), since i was fed up with them, I agreed to pay Rs. 500 against this and asked him to settle the matter as I did not want to receive any calls in future. He sent one of his executive, I paid him Rs. 500 in cash, I got the receipt of SBI for Rs 500, which I still have it with me.

                                  Now, again after 2 years, started receiving calls from SBI card, they are harassing me, infact mentally torchering me.
                                  Please do something. I am really tensed.
                                  It is very much unfair that when I have not used the card, still they are forcing me to pay.

                                  Pls...pls...pls..do something.

                                  SBI Credit Cards — Made Complete Payment

                                  I have taken a loan on my SBI card [protected] and i had foreclosed the loan by making complete payment.

                                  Still the SBI card officials are asking me to make the payment.

                                  They are saying that we will approach the court in recovering the payment.

                                  Really i mentally getting disturb that even after making the payment, they are putting various charges like late payment fee, finance charges in my SBI card statement.

                                  Please kindly look into this issue.

[protected]) & his boss are forcing to pay, Since last month i gave him cheque but it got bounced as my ICICI A/c is allready in minus and same instance has repeated in this month.

                                  It brings great grief to my heart to know that a great institution like SBI does not have its basic norms put on place. What you will actually have to do is get a settlement letter from the bank proving that you have no dues. This will certainly put you on top of the game. I would also like to tell you that logging a case in court will not be a solution. I have been dealing with cases where most people go to court and lodge a case but they get no solution. At Eko counter you can open SBI Mini Savings Account, can deposit in to your mini savings account and can also withdraw from your mini savings account.You can also transfer money and make a deposit into your SBI CBS account.

                                      In the process of decongesting Branches, SBI is advising its customer to visit Eko counter and make a deposit at Eko Counter. At Eko Counter you can make a deposit into your account and no additional charges and at a convenient time of your own.
