[Resolved] State Bank of India, Pension Cell, Chandni Chowk — Non payment of Arrers of Revised Pension

I am Holder of PPO No.[protected]. My arrears of Pension for the period from Sept, 2008 to July, 2009 subsequent to revision of Pension vide Central Pension Accounts Office No. [protected]/510630/A1 dated 26.6.2009 in respect of above PPO No. have not so been credited to my SBI A/c No. [protected] despite my repeated inquiries from the Link Branch, SBI, IIT Hauz Khas, New Delhi. When the serving officers have got their arrears will in time, what sin the retired officers have committed that they are not paid the arrears event after six months from the issue of revised PPOs. Pensioner — about state bank of indore

dear sir, im aregular custmer of st.bank of indore barwaha branch and a pensioner,going for home lone from other bank ,thats why i apply for a cheak book, but they told me that we can't issue cheak book for a pensioner. im facing lots of probelum. pls help me

SBI PP Cell is handling payment of pension to lacs of pensioners, there may be lapse in payment of arrears of pension to Shri Madan. He could have taken up the matter with the Pension Payment Cell for expediting the same. As far as I can perceive, it would not have taken a day or so in resolving his complaint as SBI is doing a lot to provide efficient customer service to Banks e.g. SBI was the first Bank to release arrears of pension on account of sixth pay commission, the pension slip for pension payment can be viewed/downloaded by pensioners availing internet facility.I would suggest Shri Madan to take up the matter with PP Ceell, Chandni Chowk directly and see how expeditiously his complaint is resolved.
