Dear Sir,
One week back, i applied for internet banking account. i got id and password on same day from bank. they said that account wll be activated within 2 days but still i am waiting for it.
whenever i try to login on onlinesbi.com it says invalid username and password.
Plese do the needful.

    Sub. : Ill behavior by your staff Mr. Joy Deka of SBI Chenikuthi Branch


    Dear Sir,

    Today at about 12 : 30 PM I visited the SBI Chenikuthi Branch and found one Mr Joy Deka sitting on the Grahak Mitra chair offering advice and giving out slips to customers. I asked him whether I can deposit Rs 45, 000 into my mother’s account (she is your customer for more than 50 years) in another branch i.e. the Guwahati branch. He said YES and I asked him for a deposit slip, which he gave me.

    But as my daughter’s school nearby would be over at 12 : 45 PM, I thought it would not be possible to finish the work by then and left to fetch her from school.

    I returned at 3 PM but was told by the counter person at Counter 2 that I can only deposit Rs. 25,000.00 into outside accounts. I therefore asked the counter person that they should train their Grahak Mitra’s properly in these matters as I had come only to deposit as per the Grahak Mitra’s advice. So the counter person called Mr. Joy Deka and asked him about it but he frankly denied about it … rather he publicly said that I have not asked him, perhaps I was wrong and should re-think about it (in Assamese he said “apuni muk xudha nai, apunar bhul hoise neki, bhabi sauk ) and went off.

    In effect, he made a public statement that I have lied.

    I have submitted a written complaint to the branch but they have refused to receive it. One of the counter lady at Counter 1 overhearing the conversation agreed that he had said so but tried to defend him by saying that he did not mean it and I should take it in a positive manner !!. Strange … someone calls me a liar and I am expected to accept it.

    This is a great insult to a customer of your bank. I would therefore request you to look into the matter and take proper action against the staff. Perhaps I think, such a rough person ought to be posted in some vague interior place in Assam to polish his behavior before being allowed to get such nice postings in Guwahati city.

    With due respect I would like to inform you that I have an savings bank account no-[protected] SBI, Chenikuthi branch.on 25/11/10 I have deposited a cheque no - ( received dividend payout from iifl) in your bank for collection . The cheque has been sent for collection from SBI, chenikuthi branch to HDFC BANK, Guwahati and the said cheque has been returned(reason not known).An amount of RS.100 have been debited from my account treated as bounch cheque. In this matter I have visited the bank several times to collect my returned cheque, but the person concerned have misplaced my cheque and have not been able to found it.In this regard I had no other way but to lodge a complain against your concern staff for giving me this type of trouble .     Very poor service
    This type of attitudes will bring bad image to the Nationalise Bank in future.

      Dear Sir/madam:
      My wife Trupti Jain is having a credit card of SBI no [protected].

      We are facing recurring problem of settling the bill of the above credit card. The reason is
      1. SBI do not have any cheque drop box facility in any of its ATM.
      2. SBI do not have any cheque drop box facility in at least 7 branches in 8 km radius of our home.
      3. The lone cheque deposit box is within SBI Gurudwara br which does not allow anyone to drop the cheque after banking hours.

      In that regard SBI officials in 7 brnaches where contacted and all of them shared that they are incapable to help the clients as they are not allowed to have the software for accessing the credit card cheques!

      Then CGM has been mailed on the subject and everything was clarifed and the plight of senior citizens were also stressed. But till date not a single reply has been received and situation has not been improved.

      Hope it will be tackled.

        Respected Sir,

        Sub : Release of the arrear pension of deceased family pensioner
        (resultant to the implementation of 6th CPC), to her nominee.

        My deceased mother, late Nani .Bala .Nath had been a family pensioner, possessing a Savings Bank Account bearing No.[protected] with your Branch located at Maligaon and myself was registered as her Nominee in terms of your Registration No.SB/1048 dated11.6.2006 (Necessary records will be sent by Registered post subsequently).

        Sir consequent upon her sudden demise on 12/01/2008, I had to terminate her deceased Account and the balance amount was duly transferred to my Saving Bank Account No.[protected] with your same Branch in response to my claim dated 20/6/2008,

        Sir, resultant to the implementation of the 6th CPC recommendation there are certain enhancement on the family pension with effects from 01/01/2006 and obviously there should have been an increase of the family pension of the deceased pensioner at the permissible rate till the date of her demise i.e. from 01/01/2006 to 12/1/2008.

        Sir, in appreciation of the facts, may I solicit your help so as to initiate necessary action to ensure that the dues, whatsoever is payable to my deceased mother is released through the Disbursing Authority, i.e. State Bank of India, Maligaon Branch, to the SB/Account of her nominee, possessing a Saving Bank Account bearing No.[protected].

        Sir, I shall be highly obliged for an expeditious processing of the same and for being apprised with the progress at my following address which has still been awaited, very dis-appointing indeed.

        Dear Sir,
        I am an account holder of SBI, Branch Rafigunj, Distt. Aurangabad (Bihar). My account no. is [protected]. I have given a cheque to Md. Shaukat of Rs.38000/- (Thirty Eighty Thousand only) on 23rd May 2012. Md Shaukat have an account in Bank of India and he deposited the same cheque in Bank of India (Gaya). That cheque has already came in SBI, Rafigunj on 1st June.2012, after 19 days the amount did not transfer till date in Md Shaukat account.

        Cheque Details: Cheque No. 170056, Date : 23.05.2012, Amount Rs.38000/- (Thirty Eighty Thousand)

          Branch Name: Pimpri Town, Pune-411017

          My mother has family pension account in above branch of SBI. My mother has been recieving family pension since Feb2006 regularly.

          Recently there have been changes in pension structure as per 6th pay commission guidelines. My mother is supposed to recieve the arrears of 6th pay commission which is NOT YET credited in her account. We have been following up on this with our branch for quite some time now. We had also submitted the application as requested by one of the officers with our branch. Our Branch has informed us that application has been sent to Centralised Pension Processing Cell (CPPC) in Belapur, Mumbai -400614. They have not recieved any revert from this CPPC yet. I have been following this up with my branch for more than a year now, but had no success to it. Appreciate if you can let us know the status of application & when will the arrears amount will be credited to account. Also I would like to highlight the control system with SBI. There is no communication between CPPC & branches as to why there is delay in payment. Few pensioners of same grade & category have recieved thier arrears in the month of November""08, however we have been left out with no clear reason of non payment. Hope fully you will look into this complaint & guide us if anything needs to be done from our end.

          Complaint has been registered on SBI website twice, Ref no : CC[protected] & CC[protected], but there is no response on this.

          Irregularities in 6th CPC Arrear — fake guideline

          i opened an saving account in sbi kashipur in jan 2013 bank told me that they are opening 0 balance facility.after that bank duducted 200 rs from my account bcz of not maintaning 1000rs in account.sbi also publish on news paper that they are opening 0 balance account.

            My father Mr. Deo Chandra Jha cosumer of "SBI Kamtaul Branch SB A/C No:[protected]Old A/C No: [protected]) is not able to draw his money as the signature is not uploaded in the system.
            More than 20 times phone call given to Branch manager of Kamtaul by me and also through the BM of Dhatakidih Branch, but no action was taken up till now.

              2.) Major Problem: - Then please suggest me what is core banking I am confused because I saw a add in TV.

              Today I went to SBI branch Kharkhoda, Sonepat (Haryana) for withdrawal of self Cheque But cashier said to me you signature is unapproved by your home branch. I have opened my Account 28 August 2009. This is the core banking of Nepanagar Branch? I have received a call (Dated 14.12.2009 Time 12.59 PM) from Nepanagar Branch please send your specific signature for Approval. This is the Core Banking? I think your add is false and please suggest me this is possible I opened my Account in your bank without signature?

              3.) I have applied for internet banking and I received Kit No.-[protected]. But that is not working. I have called to Mr. Bijlani in this regard. He said please you logged in the evening after that it is working but this Internet transaction is not working 24 hours. This is our govt. Bank. I have already call to Mr. Bijlani in all regard but he did not positive reply to me.

              Please help me because I have very harassment for in this regard. Mr. Bijlani is very poor for customer handling and customer satisfaction any regard. So I humbly request to you, sir please solve my problem.

                R/Sir,
                I have a SBI Credit Card No. [protected] from Nov. 2007,
                Firstly I never used once of my credit card, But suddenly I start receiving calls from recovery office regarding outstanding of Rs. 5,265.00. When I ask from customer care they told me these charges are about Protection plus insurance policy & Activation charges etc.. At the time of applying for the card agent said there is no any fees or not any interest, Its totally life time-free. I never used this card ever. I never been taken any insurance policy But they continuously calling me on my cell.

                Please do the needful to stop this daily telephonic harassment either help me by guiding how to take action on this kind fraud.

                  I have applied for SBI Credit card, it accompanys with a fixed deposit scheme to which i had given a ECS cheque of Rs. 1408, and asked them to deposit it on 27th Dec'09, but they deposited the cheque twice beforesaid date and that too without informing on 3rd and 7th Dec'09. An amount of 772 got deducted due to the same .

                  So please give me the contact details so that i can claim it from them

                    I am a retired central govt Officer drawing my pension from SBI Neelam Chowk Faridabad (0734).The Central Pension Authority New Delhi revised my pension & authorised payments of arrears of pension & additional Gratuity as per 6th pay commission.
                    The SBI Faridabad submitted the bills of arrears to your office on 14 May 2009(file no 1396) which has been received on 18 May 2009 at sl no 10363
                    Sir a period of Seven months has passed but I have not received my dues so far.In this context I met the complaint section of your offie on 11 Nov 2009,24 Nov 2009 & sent a request on 2 Dec 2009 but of no avail.
                    Kindly look into the matter and arrange to release my dues at the earliest.

                    State Bank of India — non payment of DA arrear

                    I HAVE RETIRED FROM INDIAN AIR FORCE W.E.F. 30 SEP 2006. MY PPO NO. IS 08/14/B/13675 AND MY PENSION ACCT NO.[protected], SBI ADMN BLDG, BOKARO STEEL CITY.6% DA ARREAR
                    WEF 01.01.07 TO 30 SEP 2007 AND 01.07.2007 TO OCT 2007 AMOUNT RS.3679/- ONLY RS.1234/.- IS PAIUD REST RS.2445/-TILL DATE NOT PAID EVEN FREQUENT APPROACH TO BANK AUTH. IS IN VAIN.

                    State Bank of India — Not paying my pension arrears

                    I am drwaing my pension from State Bank of India, Branch Hawa Sarak, Jaipur. According to Orders issued by Government of India, the Bank had to pay me revised pension fro 1st Janaury 2006. I am getting revised pension from the month of Sept. 2008. The arrears from 1st jan. 2006 to Aug. 2008 is to be paid by the disbursing bank, in this case SBI on account of difference of enhenced revised pension and the pension already paid to me, for this period. The 40% of arrears were to be paid, latest by 30th Sept. 2008. The 40% amount payble is Rs.51486.
                    I have approached the SBI authorities personally as well as through written representations. I have also posted my grivences on the Grienvence section of Web Site of SBI. I have also reperesented to Bank's Lokpal Karyalaya(Banking Ombudsman), Jaipur on 6th March 2009. So far I have not received my arears.
                    I want to bring to the notice of the people about the working of grevience mechanism of the Government Agencies through your Blog.

                    My Sister A.G.Sarasamma is also a victim of this kind. She is a pensioner of Rajasthan State Govt. and residing at Ernakulam drawing her pension through SBI Chengannur Br where she opted as her homestation. She approached the Bank authorities for her due arrears w.e.f.2006 which was drawn her friends months before. But the SBI Pension Payment Branch Trivandrum, dealing staff is telling that if the arrears is paid furture pension will be stopped etc. It is not known what is the real fact.

                    My Name is Krishna Govind Khandare,I am complaining behalf of my Mother Smt Ramadevi Govind Khandare.
                    My Father was an Ex-Serviceman from Army,he expired on 13th sep.2008,We have sent all the documents to the record office & the bankafter that the Family Pension was started in Mar.2009,but till today I am visiting the bank thrice a week but still we have not recieved the Arrears of my Father,I `ve been given the same answer that it is in process,but no results,I have given the application again on 24-Jun-2010 but still no progress.
                    The Pension officer given me the Tel.No.of Mumbai pension branch but no one picks the phone & other no.is always having problems.
                    Our Branch is Kirkee branch.
                    Please help us.

                      1. State Bank of India, Mehrauli Road, Gurgaon has been forwarded my corrigendum PPO bearing No S/024712/2008 to State Bank of India, Centralised Pension Processing Centre, 3rd floor, SBI Building, Chandani Chowk Delhi on 28 Oct 2009.

                      2. The arrear as mentioned in above mentioned corrigendum PPO not yet credited.

                      3. You are kindly requested to to do needfull for crediting the same as early as possiable.

I HAVE TAKEN A PENSION LOAN OF AMOUNT RS 53OOO/- (LOAN A/c NO [protected]) FROM STATE BANK OF INDIA (BRANCH KANTI CODE 2957). BANK IS NOT DEDUCTING THE EMI FROM MY ACCOUNT REGULARLY AND SOMETIMES DEDUCT THE EMI OF SEVERAL MONTHS AT A TIME. CONSTANT AMOUNT IS NOT BEING DEBITED FROM THE ACCOUNT AS THE EMI. SOMETIMES THEY DEBIT 1500/- A MONTH BUT SOMETIMES THEY DEBIT 2000/- A MONTH. PLEASE DO THE NEEDFUL.

                          Details of complaint: Hi,

                          I have transferred 5000 INR from my icici acct to a wrong (unexisted account as per SBI) SBI acct on 2nd sept'08. That money has not ben reversed back to my account since then . I am tired of contacting both the banks for the details but in vain. Non of the bank is taking the responsibility of my money and helpless to get the detail of whereabout my money.

                          Details of the transaction are as follows:
                          Transferred from ICICI acct:[protected] Dipesh V Jain)
                          To Sbi Acct[protected]unexisted acct as per branch manager)

                          My SBI acct no[protected] ( Railtoly branch, Gondia,Maharastra)
                          Transaction date 2nd Sept'08
                          RBI transaction no & Date 73298034 , 3rd sept'08 , batch 9m

                          Sir,
                          I request you to find out the details of my money and return to me as soon as possible.

                            WRONGLY DEBIT MY ACCOUNT AND NOT REFUNDING THE SAME
                            i have tried 3 time to withdraw a sum of rs 900 from an atm of OBC, Rajendra Place, New Delhi through my SBI debit card on 11/08/2009 but at that time my account was been debited with the same amount but no cash was delivered to me .i had made an complain with the atm officer of both the branches i.e. Branch of SBI (Ahiyapur, Muz) and the branch of SBI( Ahiyapur) the atm manager of my branch assured me that the amount would be refunded to me within 15 days but its a long period passed on i have severally met the same officer even i have made a complain of this to the loval head office of the bank but nothing happend

                            I there fore request you to kindly help me to get back my money as i belongs a middle class family and 900 Rs is very vital for me.

                              Hi,

                              I had taken a SBI home loan (8%) to buy a old house [Purchase Outright] at Madurai, Tamilnadu.Due to the lack of procedures/transparency & improper guidance from SBI loan dept officers, I ve decided to close this loan ASAP.Its been more than 2 moths, they didnt start EMI for my loan but there is a partial interest added to my loan account for the amount they have given to my seller who sold his property to me.There is a pending amount with them which should come to me. Due to property registration and mortgage registrations, the EMI creation is still pending from SBI side. Due to this pending, the balance amount which I should get is deducted as PART INTEREST. I dont know why I ve to suffer when they didnt complete the EMI creation.Fact is no one from the bank officers didnt inform about these procedures which is a time consuming one and it requires another personal loan to complete these procedures as its all related ot Govt offices [Registrations].
                              Now I really want to know, whether or not I can close my loan with out any charges.what is the procedure to close the loan.Any informations on this will be highly appreciated.

                              Please go to Pakistan bank...you will be better off...you have no place in India.
                              I too have the same issue.
                              I have taken the loan and now because of the mortgage registrations the part of the loan is not provided to me but the PART INTEREST is charged and not i am paying my full EMI which includes of the amount i have not yet received. "WHY SHOULD PAY PAY INTREST AND PRINCIPLE FOR THE AMOUNT I HAVE NOT YET RECEIVED".

                              I hope many of them have the same issue.

                                Hi sir,
                                This is Channu Halli, I have opened an account in SBI Bank Jalahalli post, BEL factory in the month of sep 2009 but i have not yet received my ATM and but got INET banking even am not able to login, i approched bang manger more than 30 times but he is telling some usuless reason plz do needful help.my account no is [protected].

                                  I tried to drop Rs.4000 using my SBI card from Indian Overseas Bank ATM, Neyveli Branch, Tamilnadu on 10.12.2009. But could not do it as immediately the cash amount went inside the ATM. Please recredit it to my account.

                                    Sub: Vacation of Charges falsly debited to above mention credit card

                                    With reference to the above, this is for your information that at the time of issuance of above mentioned credit card, your department without my consent attached a life insurance policy of Royal Sundaram Insurance Company, On receipt of the same I enquired with your customer care Centre, And asked them by whose consent the above policy has been attached. Also requested for immediate cancellation of above mentioned policy. They assured me for cancellation of policy & reversal of policy charges. After 2-3 months, I also received a cheque amounting Rs. 6,000/-, and was told on phone that it was a gift to new card holders and no interest would be applicable if this amount was repaid within 2months. Again I inquired the same with your customer Care & they informed of no such offer in existence, I immediately (within a week) repaid the same. After and before, these incidents I never used the Credit Card.
                                    The entire fact has been brought to the notice of your customer care cell several times by phone and each time I have been assured of looking into the matter, but till date no response regarding reversal of above charges has been made to me from your end, I had along requested for cancellation of above mentioned credit card.

                                    Yesterday i.e. on 10th day of December,2009 a person named Charan Singh, designation-settlement officer (The name & designation as told to me) told over phone (Phone No. 91-[protected] &[protected] regarding settlement of dues & asked some personal information, when I requested for his identification, He could not satisfy myself, Which were the document with him regarding settlement, The authority authoring him for settlement, he could not again satisfy me with appropriate answer, and for security reasons, I couldnot carry with him with personal information on phone.

                                    Your are requested to please take up the matter with seriousness and top priority. Your immediate and valuable cooperation waited.

                                    II try to contact SBI customer care no.[protected] but it need a SBI credit Card No.I don't have my SBI credit card no.I have already cancelled my SBI credit card.

                                    Could you please help for getting the SBI credit No.? I will provide the necessary proof if required.

                                      Rs. 1000/- debited to my Account and no money dispensed to me due to time out operation of SBI ATM

                                      Dear Sir,

                                      I am having a Savings bank Account No. [protected], of SBI, Maurya Lok Complex, Patna. My Account had been debited by Rs. 1000/- due to “TIME OUT OPERATION” while withdrawing money from Income Tax Chowk ATM, Patna, on 08.10.2008 and no money disbursed to me. Since than more than one year and two months elapsed but I have neither received any communication from the bank regarding the above subject nor Rs. 1000/-...

                                      Now SBI is offering car loan for 8.5% and I'm paying 11.75% for housing loan from ICICI. What a pity!!

                                      Public sector bank car loan interest is much less than ICICI housing loan!!
