[Resolved]  Sun Direct — Online complaints

This is Dominic Mathew residing at 3/12 Ex-Service men's colony, First street, Adambakkam, Chennai-600088. I've taken a Sun Direct Connection on 28/06/2008 in my father's name (Henry Manoharan), for one year subscription. The smart card no. is[protected]. For the past 3 weeks, I could not receive any signal and getting error messages only (E16, E48, etc.) I have been ringing the customer service for the past 3 weeks[protected]. No one responded for first 2 weeks. While I enquired the dealers, they told that they are relocating the entire setup. From the third week I got the direct consumer service line and I have been complaining repeatedly. Even if they picked up the call, they do not send any of the service technicians. I have made more than 100 calls (both from my landline and Mobile). Also, I've informed them that I'm going to complaint in consumer court. Till now no response. Could you please assist me regarding the same?

I recharged Rs.155/- through SBI Credit card dt.[protected] but payment not activated.
My smart card no. [protected] with Telugu premium and asked to connect Kids cartoon network on 31st July 13 for a month to entertain children guests. As per Sun Direct directions of call centre persons were contacted on 29th August 13 and asked them to deactivate. After 10 days of the complaint no action. So spoken to the manager level but no deactivation even after my acceptance of one more month subscription. They promised to deactivate immediately but NOT DONE. My doubt Sun direct having inclination to push the unwanted channel. IT IS SHAMEFUL ACT OF SUN DIRECT call centre persons. I feel remedy action will be taken and proper Management team to avoid this type of lapses. The sun Direct grabbed one more month in advance on 30.09.2013even after giving complaints for more than 5 times.

I am Bhaskaran from Vijayanagar Bangalore, my set of box was not working I made complaint on 18 th Sept 2013 every day I was calling customer care no.[protected] 7 th day ( 24 Sept 2013) one boy came told he is from Sun tv. came to attend complaint he removed my old set of box and replaced with another one, he collected my old box and Rs 800 saying Rs.650 for the cost and Rs.150 service charges, then he told this box needs activation and that he will do at 6 pm and went, till today that boy have not come and that box is not working, to day is 13 th day every day I am complaining and the people, those who attend the complaints says, today evening our technician will come and do the needful, every day the same, some people pretending as if officers and talking 15 to 20 mins but so far the complaint not rectified .I have paid 3 months subscription charges and also spent Rs.160 for telephoning till today .,
I do not know what to do, the boy who took my set of box gave a bill, I phoned several time to the phone number given in bill but that person is not giving proper answer, and not attending my call .Any one kindly write, what I can do if this people is not providing service after taking money ?
my neme is saquim.vk...i have a sundiirect connection in my fathers name( vs mohammed kasim)... i had registered a complaint on 30/9/2013 at 7.30pm... the complaint number is 1-[protected]...i was not able to view any channels ...some error was coming... i tried calling the customer care i was told that an operator would approach us in 2 days and rectify the problem... since then i used to get calls from customer care during my busy hours at work or while driving telling that "my complaint is registered and that the operator would approach as soon as possible. as this repeated i asked them not to call again and disturb like this but just send the operator and get it corrected." and this guy i was talking to, i dont know his name he called me from some other number confirmed my name and scolded me in kannada using abusive words... i wanna make sure that strict actions are taken against him at the earliest...i had first received a call from[protected] at 4:49 pm... i believe that was from customer care... and after five minutes he called me back using the number [protected] at 4:55 pm... i want the concerned authority to track him down and take strict actions and respond to me at the earliest... i am definitely going to book a complaint at the consumer court...
i have accidently reseted the sundirect setup box and now it is showing service unavailable .how can i add channels?
Please note this complaint against sun direct dtc bearing smart card No.[protected], named suresh pillai, jabalpur, madhya pradesh. My complaint is - since last two days the dth is not working. on switch-on its working approx. upto 15 minutes. thereafter nothing is visible. Complaints lodged since 15th Oct. 2013 & no response.

Further customer care people are most irresponsible.
This is Manjunath Sun Direct Connection form one month. The smart card no. is [protected]. It was valid upto 21-November 2013

But We paid advance payment of Rs.860 on 07-june-2013 for extension of validity
for further 7 months further from 21-November 2013 at service centre of Srikrishna electronics, Super bazar complex, KM Marg, Udupi, Phone No.[protected]

But to our surprise on 20 Nov 2013, we received the call asking for renewal of validity.We are very much surprised to know such kind of mismanagement and poor customer service.

if the service cetre is not liable for online payment why those numbersyou give in your advertisement brochure.More why don't you enquire such anamolies as the show room man is denying any knowledge about this.We wonder such a big entertainment company can also be so careless about its genuine customer

we demand (i) a through enquiry of this
(ii) we need to know about the money which we have paid for extension is correct or not
(iii) we want to know what precaution that you are going to take so that it won't repeat in future.
i got punishment for my self for buying the sun direct clarity is so low and picture is got shrinking to very low resolution singnal is more than 80% spoke to customer care no response at all they gave the complaint no dealer called we cant do call the person who installed he gave the owner no and i called him no response and again spoke to sun direct no proper response purchased only few days ago very hectic and got flastracted coz of sun direct my serious comment in exp dont purchase the scarp all china s up box
I don't want to address u as sir or respected sir bcous i dont hv any respect 4 u. What do u think abt ur self. R u thinking that ur running a govt office? so many procedures to recharge r register a compliant? Just try 2 reduce ur procedures and try 2 b customer friendly.I am going 2 change my service provider sooner r later if this idiotic procedure continues. I hv some other important assignments and don't hv time 2 compliant. Try 2 change soon.

not attending the techinical problem.i took a new hd connection & iam facing severe technical problem.after many call nobody is attending the problem. so please consider this complaint & do the needful for me. manjunathan. [protected].
Customer service is totally waste, am using sun direct for past 5 yrs, am not getting signal for past 1 wk, am calling customer care daily for past 1 wk, they saying daily tat our technician's will contact u soon soon nu but no one is coming r calling, totally waste customer care ...
