[Resolved]  TATA Indicom Photon Plus — Bad service

Hi
I am a tata indicom photon plus customer.
this is to report that the service is pathetic and more worse than the connection itself.
The call center for this service does not seem to be well managed because i have experienced technicians disconnecting the call as soon as they recieve it without even saying anything...

as far as the connection is concerned, i have taken a connection which was supposed to give me a speed of 2 - 3 Mbps, but sadly my connection gives me hard1y 100 - 200 kbps with lots of spikes. Very unstable connection.

Once i complained they sent a technician and he said that the reception was bad and so he had to talk to a lady from chennai who said that she will route the traffic properly to correct it.
for a month after than my connection speed was amazing and it did give me about 1 - 1.5 Mbs which was better than what i had.

after a month the same issue has shown up and i cant even get my broadband to connect sometimes.

i have already called 13 times to the support number but unfortunately not able to reach someone whom i can talk to as they keep disconnecting the calls......

Tata indicom Photon Plus — braudband speed is not good

broadband speed is no not 3.1Mbps as per tata indicom information
when i have got this connection they told me for we will provide you 1-2 MBPS downloading speed and 500KPS uploading speed anywhere and any time but now i have get only 15 KBPS downlaoding speed and 2 kBPS uplaoding... what is this ..

I m out of delhi .. but i m now in khurja (dist-bhulanshare ) means 90 KM left .. so in this mean all promises was wrong ????
I have purchased photon 3 months back and it is the same for me i get average speed of 25-35 kbps and i have contacted tata customer care & technical they say this is the only speed thay can give and there is nothing as 3.1 mbps it is only connectivity of the device and max i can get is 60 kbps. I think Tata is cheating on consumers and they dont give any ear to it even TRAI is not looking into the matter and they have given approval for this sort of device.
Where from you are accessing this service. khurja doesn't come under photon's coverage area.
Speed is really good in coverage area.

"TATA IS CHEATING TO ITS CONSUMERS"

i have taken a TATA Photon+ connection, in aug 2009, facinated by their Advertisement Claiming speed UpTo 3.1 Mbps, BUT ON ACTUAL USE i find the average speed is about "200 KBPS ONLY, " and sometimes on the maximum it goes to 600-700KBPS, "BUT it lasts ONLY FOR ONE SECOND", so it can NOT be accepted as fast speed, and during surfing sometimes the connection gives you speed of "0 (ZERO)KBPS" for FOUR-FIVE MINUTES.

"IT ALSO HAVE THE PROBLEM OF BROKEN CONNECTION" even to post this comment i have to reconnect the connection three times.

Talking to customercare is of no use, they only give some settings, but even after applying the settings, PROBLEM REMAIN THE SAME.
I am a Tata Photon Plus customer, my account no[protected] my photon plus was not working in the month of Jan'10 I had made several complaints but it wasn't resolved I have all the ticket#s with the agent's name and time as well.Although the internet didn't work throughout the month still they have generated and sent me the bill.I want a strict action to be taken against them.

I am a TATA Photon Plus Prepaid user.
I found there is no balance in my account then I recharge it for Rs. 200. After using hardly 7MB I stopped it but a massage came to my mobile informing me that only 34MB is left in my account. After that again another massage has come in the next day morning that my balance has over where as I haven't used it within this period. I wanted to complain it in a nearby centre but that lady didnt respond me properly just informed me that I have 41MB negative balance. I was shocked. At night I made a phone call to the toll free no. but I was informed that I have 43MB negative balance. After two days another msg came to mobile that I had a balance of 72MB where as I did not recharged further till today. I really want to know what is really going on. My Photon+ no, . is [protected]. This is AbhiShek Sharma from Gurgaon, I have bought TATA Photon Plus 1.5 monts back, But it has stopped connectivety for last one week, and shows the "ERROR678 : The remote server is not responding" on screen at the time of connectivity.

Pls. sort out this matter at the esrliest as i am losing very imortant time frame for a particular assignment.

Tata Photon+ — slow reception

I'm using a Tata Photon+ (5 GB). It takes more than 30 minutes to watch a 4 minutes long music video on youtube.They claimed it is broadband but it is a trick. Here it very slow.

I am Tat photon user and my account number is[protected] and i have problem with the speed where the speed is only about 200-300 kbps which is not for i have paid .I have a been promised that the speed would at least be around 700-1MBPS which i never got initially when i was using the device yes i got the speed for some days and then gave a complaint for slow speed there was a tech who came to my place and then he says that we cannot do anything because this is the maximum speed what you can get and then he said we can install an antenna booster.However he again says that there is no space to install it and then i spoke to the sales GUY from whom i purchased the device he is the Channel sales manager and he kept changing the word that he did not promise anything however to keep you informed that i have a recording of what he spoke and the speed he promised so i kindly inform you to please take care of this or else i might have to go to consumer court with all the proofs.This is a serious concern if incase i dont get any reply from this i am going to escalate it to the higher authorities and also file a case in consumer court.Either you need to get me the speed or get my money back .Because of the false promise what you guys gave.

I will not request you to sort out because its your job so intact i will wait for thew reply if i dont get i will file a case .
