I have been after TATA indicom now more than a year now but still nothing has been done so far,

this is trailing mail of the all tata indicom talks with me.

Now i want to get the refund on the the security deposit as well as the device which i got from TATA for surfing the net which costed me 2499 Plus taxes at that time.

This is real harrasment from TATA Indicom i have got.

Refund backing from last year
Last Update from me for this famous company,
I was told to go to Court for an affidavit stating that I have lost the DD which was sent to me and even specified an amount of Rs 332/-, well it is just harassing for me as when i went to get affidavit and printing matter on it attested by the notary it already added Rs 125 plus my expense to go to the court and add on parking to it 10 Rs. and whereas my actual Security deposit on the Connection was Rs 1000/- and if they don't want to return my money back that is just useless even to argue with TATA indicom.
Once again I would really tell everyone not to go for this Company. and even these mails to TATA indicom proved them wrong doing.

Kindly See if anything can be done.

    I need the helpfull for that deduction.

      Hai,
      I purchased TataPhoton Plus on 24 April 2010, and got activated from a sales representative at my Home.
      He filled the form and took my address proof(passport copy) and a photo for registration.
      I loggedin the online account of Tataphoton and checked my name and address, and it was correct as submitted.
      On 9 May 2010 when i checked online account, to my suprise the address was changed and also when i called customer care, they say its registered on some other name. They dont have any answer for this and ask me to submit the address and photo again at one of the TataIndicom outlets.

      When i visit the TataIndicom office, they say the proof has to be submitted to the Head Office and they dont handle and prepaid issues.

      When i call the sales representative from whom i purchased the device, he says everything is fine from his end . Now who is responsible for the issue, none of the TataIndicom representatives have the solution.

      This is one of the pothetic service provided by TataIndicom and i suggest none of any to use there products.

        Dear Sir,

        I am Arun Kumar Gupta and i have tataindicom plug2surf with the sim no. [protected]. Around March end i requested to
        discontinue my number,to which i got the response that u can keep the no. in save custody instead of discontinuing.I agree to
        do so.

        It was confirmed to me that my no. is kept in safe custody and normally company charge Rs. 35 per month for it but since
        i am very old customer so they waive off this for me .
        Normally my bill comes to Rs. 552 but my March bill was (Rs. 552-Rs. 105)=Rs. 447 confirming again that my no. has been kept in save custody.

        But still i got a bill of Rs. 552 for the month of April and i even did not use the net for 1KB.

        I request you to please waive off this bill and correct the error on your part.

            TATA Indicom — Disconnection of services without intimation

            I bought a moto razr v3i phone along with tata indicom postpaid connection in an instalment basis.However now and then i was unable to pay my phone bill due to many reasons before due date. But one day, almost six months ago from now my outgoing was disconnected without intimation even before ten days from the last day of payment. That day my old mother was not well and I work for the night shift and at 2:15am when I was tried to call to my residence, it was shocking to know that my connection was not available.It is a shame on part of tata indicom for doing this, and later when I asked the reason for the disconnection, I was told that my credit limit of 1300 ruppes was over.Then I launched a complaint to tata indicom to immediately disconnect my phone forever and take back the instrument permanently, even for this there wasn't any response.I have frequent visitors from tata indicom saying that they want to collect my bill, but when I ask of my complaint, they say they would return with required action to disconnect my phone, but none turn up so far.I even sent three mails to tata indicom but in vain. Unfortunately I was not told about the inextendable memory of the phone. Today the phones which cost three thousand has a better memory than my twelve thousand phone.Then where is the point o[censored]sing such incapable phone.So I request the concerned department to take immediate action.

              Dear Sir,

              I purchased one Tata Photon. I was using a Reliance Data Card till then. He (Ravinder Walia) conveyed me that this Photon has a call facility and the amount of Rs. 3500 is a security amount. I got the plan of Rs 750.00/2 GB. I was even told that it does not take much formality to change this photon from my name to my companies name.

              i nitially couple of months I received their bill with proper amount and soon my billing amount was increased to Rs. 902.00. I contacted customer care to know the reason but there was no satisfied answer. I requested tata indicom to transfer this number to my companies name and all the relevant documents were attached with application dated: 19th Jan 2010. I was given dozens of locations to visit by the customer care executive but every tata showroom it was not accepted and their simple reason was it is not their duty.

              I at in january itself requested tata indicom to disconnect my Photon and refund my money as their executive had conveyed me earlier. I stopped using the Photon. I used to get phone once in a month from tata indicom and I used to tell them about my complain and in return they assured they will sort out my problem.

              But all of a sudden, I got a call from their Lawyer who said who is calling from Tees Hazari courts on 11th May 2010 at 5:40 PM and said they against me a case has been filed by Tata Indicom and asked me to submit Rs. 1922 upto 6:20PM of 11th May 2010 or else I have to face a legal action.

              But the fact is Photon has not been used since four months and it was coneyed to them to disconnect it and sort out my account but nobody turned up.


              I don't what kind of charges they are asking me to pay when I have not used their Photon, when they were told to disconnect it and when I have my Rs. 3500.00 deposited with them.

              Therefore, I would to know if I am liable to pay Rs. 1922.00 to tata indicom without any reason?

                  Dear Sir, I am using Tata Indicom broadband, they are very intelligent because when there is outstanding amount to pay they will call for every 2 hours, but when we have any complaint they are not responding atleast one time also.

                  Broadband Customer care are not lifting call anybody. I am calling directly to billing department and requesting transfer the call to broad band department., then only they are transferring call to broadband dept.

                  Every time, Every time - they are saying "you have to be patience for waiting because all executives are busy with other customers" i feel very bad at that time because all executives are busy with other customers "at every time is this the way to answer sir!................. how worst are they are responding

                  Sir, this is not the way to behave as a customer care. Please take any action against Tata Indicom Broad Band if you can sir.

                  Tata Indicom Broadband — Irresponsible and foolish service to the customers

                  I have a complain with Tata Indicom Broadband services.
                  I have taken a connection of 256Kbps one month back.
                  From the day one and till today I have launched many complains at their Customer Care.
                  Few major complains are :
                  1) Connecting jack is loose
                  2) Slow speed which is only upto 14Kbps
                  3) Whenever electricity turns off and comes again there is no internet connectivity for 1-2 hours
                  4) Now I am not even able to get the internet connection
                  Every time they give me a new Complain number but nothing happens with those issues.
                  No body bothers even to attend the issues.
                  Not even they give a call back whether the issue is resolved or am I still facing the problem.
                  For my first issue that was the connecting jack was loose, nobody came to resolve that.
                  But now they say that the issue is Resolved and closed at their end.
                  Apart from this the latest problem was that I was getting the internet connection with discontinuity.
                  I called for this complain and the person asked me to change the DNS number.
                  Once I changed it, my internet connectivity is now gone forever.
                  I am not at all able to connect to the internet.
                  3 days are passed but there is no response from their side.
                  And they take the full payment for this hell sort of service.
                  Many times I had asked them to let me talk with their manager Mr. Sumit Athalye but
                  Every time I get the response that he is not available.

                  Tata Indicom Broadband — Partial service, no repair

                  I got a tata indicom connection in January 4th week 2008.
                  Currently i am not able to send any email or any other data on internet. The customer support is never present. the help line keep me on hold for several minutes but no one answers it.

                  It is really annoying that in spite of making all the payments in advance, we are not able to send any data at all.

                  Kindly help.

                  TATA INDICOM BROADBAND SERVICES — Worst customer support from Tata Indicom Broad Band Services

                  I, Subhashini approached Mr. Venkatesh[protected], Tata Indicom Broad Band sales person when I wanted to go for it. He committed me the best support than other contemporary & suggested me to go for 384 kbps (unlimited) plan as that would be the best as I wanted to use the broad band mainly for Voice (VOIP). And also he said that he would waive of the installation charges if I pay the four months bill in advance. Convinced by his words, I issued a cheque for Rs. 4, 415/- (Cheque No. 822285) on 6th March ’09 and installation was done on 9th March ’09. I am suffering a lot with the low speed connection, not more than 50-60 kbps (where as I am paying for 384 kbps) from the day of installation. Called customer care & mailed them on the same day & many times after that day but always received a auto generated mails saying - “Sorry for the inconvenience caused. Your complaint no is so & so.. Our team is working on it. We need your support in closing the issue”.
                  On 12th March ’09 they had deputed the same person, Mr. Mahender[protected] who had come for installation. But he couldn’t solve the problem & left the place.
                  As I am not getting the best support from customer care, which was committed by Mr. Venkatesh, I called him on 15th March ’09 as I need to start my work from the next day (i.e., on 16th March ’09). And had to listen very very bad words from him & asked not to call him again. I was shocked to listen to him in that way, as he is the same person who was very polite while taking the cheque from me.
                  On 16th March ’09 I started using VOIP & my voice is not audible to inbound / outbound calls due to the low speed of the internet. That day itself I have lodged a complaint again to customer care. As there is no response from customer care, I had to complaint to escalation department on 20th March ’09. I spoke to Ms. Sandhya[protected] & she said that she will look into the matter completely & get back to me, but failed to get the call from her till 24th March ’09.
                  When I call the customer care they ask me to write a mail about the disconnection of the services, but when I mail them, I always received the reply - “Sorry for the inconvenience caused. Your complaint no is so & so.. Our team is working on it. We need your support in closing the issue”. The replies from customer care are only auto generated mails. No body looks into the matter what customer wrote. Though I mailed that I am no more interested in continuing with Tata Indicom services, I get the same reply. And it was shocking to know from a customer care officer that my money will not be returned, which I paid for 4 months in advance. They are either providing the best service or allowing me to disconnect the services by paying my money back.
                  I request the concerned to look into this matter & help me out in this as the internet speed is very important for using VOIP.

                  Tata Indicom Broadband — WORST CUSTOMER SERVICES TATA INDICOM BROADBAND

                  This is regarding our TATA INDICOM WiMax Broadband connection.
                  We have requested for the termination of services on some personal grounds.We have specifically requested for the service people to be sent on weekends or weekdays after 6.00 pm for removal of installed equipments and closing procedures.Inspite of this request some civil people from TATA INDICOM have visited our residence during the day when we were not available at home and removed the installed antenna causing damage to our Computer (as the wire was connected to the port ,the person had pulled it from outside causing it to fall off the stand and causing the damage).This sort of action has been done before during the installation when the TATA INDICOM people who had come for the installation had damaged a pipe for which we had to pay!Why do the people have to come and carry on the action when no body is present!This shows the cheap mentality and the poor services being offered by TATA INDICOM!

                  We have heard similar complaints about antenna's being removed without their presence when requested for disconnection from other TATA INDICOM users and you people claiming that you didn't do it and asking them extra money to be shelled out for the antenna being stolen.

                      I was the subscriber of tata indicom-Walky services; I took this service for my mother as she is not well. I am staying abroad since last 4 years, and I was not aware what happening with the services, 1day I called up my mother and come to know that our no. is disconnected to due to non payment of bill. When I checked I came to know we were charged for internet connection and international calls where I don’t have computer at home and no ISD service on my connection. Then how we were charged for all these? My mother visited several times to there outlets to complaint about the same and they accepted it was charged wrongly and we will reverse these amount. Till now nothing has been rectified and I visited India few months back to see my mother, I start receiving calls from different no. in which they were threatening and abusing me for the non payment of bill. My account no.[protected]
                      I am in the hospital to see my relative but I relieved a call from police and advocate making payment in 1 hour. I think this a new way to looting innocent people. I really don’t understand what this is all about. I am totally disappointed with this.

                        We are hainv three telephone connection from Tata Indicom. 64564600, 64581600 and [protected]. Since last three months the first number 64564600 is not working. The customer care is not taking the complaint. Whereas we mailed to the nodal officer also aboaut the problem several times. But he too not taking interest in solving the problem. It seems that this company were just mean for the money. At the time of installation they do several promises. but least bother about that. Please guide me what to do with the dead phone. They are collecting the charges as usual.

                          I bought Tata wimax connection on 21 Aug 2009. Took Flash384 plan.

                          There are 2 complaints.
                          1. I do not have the need of static IP and most home users don't need one unless they are using it for VPN (with static ip authentication) or if you are hosting a website. Tata Indicom is throwing up a login page for normal users and to de-activate this login page they are forcing consumers to buy this "Static IP" for which they charge Rs.2000. Having this login page is a huge headache as you will not be able to access your internet connections through your mobile devices.

                          2. I was supposed to get 1.5 mbps at night. In september, just one month after taking the connection i did not get that speed. After continuous complaints, they told me that Tata Indicom is NO MORE providing the flash 384 plan and asked me to downgrade to infinity 384. I did not agree to this, but finally they pushed me to infinity 384 plan without my consent or approval. During this period which took 3 months, I was charged for 1.5 mpbs at night, but only got 384 kbps. Now when they wanted to downgrade this plan, I asked the agent to send me an email. But the fact that they are not ready to put it in writing means that they are infact trying to cheat.
                          Add to this i received several calls where the person would call me up and ask me "Sir this is to confirm that you wanted to downgrade to infinity 384 plan", for which I would respond "I did not ask for it and neither do i consent for the change. Send me an email regarding these details". As soon as I tell this, they would just say ok and hang up.

                          Now still I see that Tata Indicom is selling this flash 384 plan. I feel that they will just lure the customers using this plan and in a planned way pushing them down to 384 plan once u become their customer. Can some one look into this?

                            The person, Mr. Kailash Karkera, sales exec of Appco Marketing Pvt. Ltd had visited my place on 3rd April for the Tata Indicom landline and I had applied for a Tata Indicom landline and was promised that it will be delivered and installed at my place within 7 working days. I agreed for the same and I had issued a cheque of Rs. 1998/- for 2 connections.

                            After 10 days when the phone was not installed , we called Kailash and he informed that the stock is not there and in 2 days it will be fixed .

                            After so many follow ups on 16th Aptil, Mr. Kailash has assured me that the same will be done by 21 st April, Wednesday due to many reasons which I'm not concerned and interested about. I informed him that i do not want it on Wednesday.I want the phones to be delivered by tomorrow or max Monday ie 18th Apr and no excuses pls, if you cant make it and will deliver it by Wednesday, then I would like to have a compensation for all the torture and followup.

                            I informed Kailash If I don't receive the phones as promised, I assure you that I will be filing a Fraud Case against TATA TELESERVICES and DIESL both.

                            Still till date I have not received the Phone, its now one month today still. I want refund of the money plus compensation for bad service.

                            You can take this as my final warning or a final request and communication from my end.

                            Awaiting a response from you.

                              I had a tata indicom plug 2 surf internet modem connection.When i took it i got 2 month free usage on the payment of modem connection. After one month & 10 days, i lost the modem, so i went to the shoppe & asked the person to disconnect it he also ensured me that i will not get any bill since i am cancelling the connection in free usage period only. I written it down on the register which he provided. Later i got many calls from the tata indicom centre that i have some balance which i need 2 pay. I clarified them that i have cancelled the connection within free usage period only, but theycontinued to call me. Suddenly one day i got a legal notice about the non- payment of my dues.
                              I want to put up a case against them for unnecessorily harassing me & askign for the payment that does nt due to me.

                                My Prepaid Tata indicom Mobile No.[protected]. Today morning I recharged my mobile with Rs.100/- and got credit of Rs.89.24. After that I made only two calls @ 11.00 am and at around 11.30 - 12.00 AM my mobile started a music I also saw a figure in my Mobile and a message saying press OK. I tried all buttons to stop music but could not succeed. When I pressed OK button it stopped. Same music and appeared again after 15 minutes again same procedure it stopped only when I pressed OK. But after some time when I tried to call a number It started telling that I have zero balance. I contacted the local Tata indicom office They expressed their helplessness to refund the debited amount and advised me to contact 12524 / [protected] / [protected]. He says I will not get back my amount. Please let me know how I can get back the recharged amount. Also Please let me know how we can stop the malpractice by the Mobile companies forcing us to press the select button so that they can charge for that particular service. Please help he

                                I recharge my tata indicom mobile for Rs.25. The balance is Rs.19 .This phone is only used for incoming. But after a ten days latter the balance is Rs.16 .But there was no out going call or SMS. Clearly it is a case of stolen. Please return my deducted money.

But Till Now I am not getting any response from Tata Indicom. When I am trying to contact the Customer Care Executive They disconnet my call. and I also write mail to the Customer Care But again I unable to get any response.

                                    There was some wrong billing from Tata Indicom and we had lodged a complaint when their claim for a higher amount came. Complaint # 427074 dated 21st Aug. 2006.

                                    Here was our last communication to them, for which we have not heard anything and now after 4 years, we are getting a notice from them. When contacted them, they say they don't have old emails and want us to visit their office for "Settlement", which sounded very irresponsible to say the least, especially from a name like TATA.

                                    ---- Excerpts from our last mail to them on 22nd Aug.[protected]
                                    Today I have lodged a complaint (# 427074 dated 21st Aug. 2006) for the "wrong" billing during March, April and May 2006. While we changed to the new plan "infinity 256" in march 2006, we were continuing to get the bills based on the old plan at Rs.1795.84. This got changed to Rs.1346.88 from June 2006, whereas it should have been from March 2006. So, the difference of Rs.1348.88 (448.96 x 3) should be credited to our account, without which we will not be able to clear the dues.

                                    Thanks and look forward to sorting this out at the earliest.

                                    TataIndicom — Wrong information against billing dues

                                    Dear Sir,
                                    Refer to my cell no [protected] of (portability) number of TATADOCOMO has received message from TATA INDICOM that amount due of Rs-628/- is being balance to be clear.
                                    But hence I want to inform you that I have already cleared my total dues against the said number on 02.07.11 at TATA INDICOM office BISTUPUR JAMSHEDPUR.

                                    Please ensure that this dues has been cleared before the said number has been changed to portability of TATA DOCOMO.If the dues are balance then how the service provider has been transfered, It is under mandatory rule of TRA that no service provider will allow to change there number for the portability till the NOC is being cleared by the service provider.

                                        In last 15 days I have registered around 10 complaints for improper/no connectivity in my tata indicom broadband 2.0 connection .

                                        complaints : 11266960 ,11864918 ,12032064,12095282,12057290, 12095282.
                                        All the complaints get closed without any resolution or any confirmation from my side .
                                        The technician comes and gives one or the other excuse , like the antenna nob was loose , or puts some tape on antenna and says the poblem would be resolved and leaves .The problem never gets resolved and i am facing lot of trauma , calling CC daily and registering new complaints .
                                        Is there any way i can escalte this issue to the senoir management and get my problem resolved . Also will i get a discounted bill as i am not able to use connection for last 15 days .

                                        i totally agree Mr.Rohit coz i am facing the same problem(request timed out while pinging the gateway) since the past 16 days!!!

                                        Since that, Everyday i call the CC and they giv me the same reply that we hav kept ur problem on high priority basis and it will be solved as soon as possible since the past 16 days!!!
                                        But atleast for you some1 came and responded, but for me i got no calls regarding the prob. n no1 came to solve my problem also since the past 16 days!!! :-(
