I am using tata broadband connection at g-3/5 first floor malviya nagar. I got the connection on the 13/09/2007 and for the past one week there seems to be some problem with your service. After calling the customer service number about a dozen times your executive rectified the problem, but again the problem has occured I lodged another complained on the 6/10/2007 and I was assured that the problem would be rectified by monday i.e 08/10/2007 it never happened!

However I called again today and one of your exec gave a new story alltogether saying that the connection has been suspended due to non payment of bills I did not receive any kind of bill and its not even a month since I got it installed the inst date is 13/10/2007 so how come now im getting this excuse .....instead of solving my query you guys are harassing me my work has suffered and when I call your help desk no to speak with a manager I am bluntly refused i would call this poor customer service.

I hope this problem would be rectified within 24 hrs or else I will have to get in touch with the consumer court for deficiency of sercive.

    Dear Sir,


    This is to inform you that, authorized representative of TATA INDICOM; Mr. Kamlesh Bhavsar had visited our factory along with Mr. Rohit of M/s Drive India Enterprises-Thane (Direct Associate of TATA INDICOM), for confirmation of commitments against our purchase of 15 new Tata Indicom Mobile connections and 2 new WLL connections.

    They offered us a group scheme and committed that the Tata to Tata Pack + National Roaming (with incoming free calls) Pack, would be activated on each of the 17 connections in the scheme. They studied our MTNL-Dolphin Bills of past one year and assured us that use of TATA INDICOM will save at least 50% to 60% of our costs.

    On their confirmation and assurance I had purchased 15 Tata Indicom Mobile connections and 3 Wireless Land Line connections (with the National facility of Tata to Tata free calling and In-coming Free National Roaming as per the optional packs suggested by the representatives) on Payment of Rs 19,485/- by cheque.

    We were shocked to know that all the commitments and assurances given by the representative and the Thane associates have failed. The bills received are exorbitant and are even more than the MTNL connections we had earlier. In-spite of repeated requests over phone, the representative as well as the associate, M/s Drive India Enterprises-Thane, is not bothered to pay any heed to our complaint. More than a month has passed but we have not yet received the land line connections as yet, but to our surprise, we have been billed for the same as well.
    Worst to expect, they have discontinued services of all our 18 connections today leaving us in a state of agony and humiliation.


    I am sending this letter to you as a hope of getting the quickest attention and action.

    Tata Indicom, Postpaid connection — Cheating providing handsets

    This is Dr. Rana, I took Tata Indicom connection last two months back as per the instruction of marketing man.

    There the marketing man told me that, you are going to get a hand set free of cost (as I belongs to Corporate sector). Then Ihe told me to choose a plan, then I asked there is there any hidden cost is there, he told me no. But after I choosed a plan o[censored]YL 349.

    After varification, a man came to deliver the hand set, I took that one, on the same day evevning I found some some burning smell & the battery was getting hot after few minutes talk & also battery charging.

    I compliained at 121, they told me to go service center at Amerper, I went there, they told me that I have to keep the handset there for 15 days. But that was too dificult for me, still I gave them & I adjusted those days by taking the help of some another number purchasing outside from other telecommunication division.

    After 15 days, I got that hand set & again after one month my hand set is getting swithched off randmly.

    Once again I went Servicing center, they told me to leave my set with them for one week, I denied. As per instruction from 121, I went to Head office TaTa Indicom at Nampally, Hyderabad, there they told me the set can not be replaced. I asked for surrender, they told me to deposit Rs.2500.00 first for the set. But the market price of the handset is only Rs. 1000.00. There I denied, I told them, I cannot.

    Again I have told to 121 to collect this set.

    But from them there is no communiocation.

    Please try to solve this as soon as possible.

    Now I will not pay any bill for the days which I have not used the number and kept waiting for your reply to confirm the disconnection.

    I had purchased samsung explorer mobile on 8/11/2007 for Rs. 5,500/- from tata true value hub at Hauskhaz,New Delhi.
    From 9/11/2007 the phone switched off automatically . I immediately went to Tata True Value shop at Haus Khaz .Mr Harish (ph no. [protected],[protected],[protected]) and he said some loose contact might be there and replaced its battery.
    Even after replacing battery mobile switched off automatically and on informing to true value shop he directed us to go to samsung service center ,Nehru place for repairs. I depoisted my mobile to samsung service center on 19/11/2007 and received back my mobile on 24/11/2007 after repairs.
    again the phone is switched it off automatically and this time i.e on 26/11/2007 the true valus shop sales personnnel Mr.Harish told me that deposit the mobile with him and he will personnally get it checked at samsung authorised center and retuned the mobile on 30/11/2007 after depoisiting my mobile .
    again after repairs the mobile switched it off automatically and this time the camera also din't work so again i deposited my mobile with true value shop on 2/12/2007 and till date the mobile is still under repair. this is the perfect condition of brand new tata-samsung mobile.Since purchase ,one month has passed still the mobile is under repair.
    During this I contacted umpteen nodal officers on[protected] namely Mr.Sunny,Mr.Dev dayal([protected]) Mr. Ahmed, Mr.Rakesh ([protected]) on umpteen times and for more than 300 minutes .every time one executive hear my story and says i willl call back or arrange call back immediately as my seniors are busy . During entire one month only one time i received a call back from TDSL for a minute . When ever i call they take all my details and next time when i call they keep their voice mail box on and i have to leave a message. This is the real custtomer friendly attitude of TATA indicom. Is anybody hearing our complaints ?
    The mental agony and disturabnces the customer facing with Tata indicom is un explained in words. Mr Naveen ([protected]) one of TAta Indicom official informs me that I had to suffer like this and have to go to service center as many times . even if I compalint to higher officers no body will help me .ultimately I am the only one who can do some thing for custoemr . This is the attitude of Mr Naveen and all the officers i came across during past one month.
    Even after one month my barnd new samsung mobile is under repair and under experiments. Thanks TATA indicom for the pain and mental agony .

    tata indicom post-paid phone — Regarding Roaming Charges

    Thanx for sending me bill details.My Tata indicom phone no is [protected].According to my Talk India 299 plan,My roaming is free.But the bill which you have sent to me,is taking Incoming call charges.When I had taken this plan I was told that your roaming will be free & you will not be taken incoming charges while in roaming & Why am i being charged for the SMS also when I have taken the monthly SMS max pack rental in which 3000 National sms are free.Can you sort out my queries as soon as possible?

    Tata Indicom Mobile — Not canceling mobile connection

    hi i am sanjaykumar yesterday night (i;e) 24/12/2007 i have lost my mobile immediately i have called to that mobile but thay are not receiving the phone.so i want to deactivate my mobile.actually i went to my nearby tataindicom office but today the office has been closed because of christmas. so i called to costamer care so they told me to contact on internet . so please deactivate my mobile my mobile no is [protected] it is the post pade. thanking you'
    I am Tarun Sharma form Mumbai.I am a user of Tataindicom broadband service for past two months and would like to complain regarding the same.
    Sir,I applied for the broadband connection for 128 kbps more than two months ago and since then I am having trouble regarding their services.Since,I don't know where to complain regarding this matter,so I am to bring to all notice regarding this.
    For past two months,most of time was spent on complaining to their customer service regarding bad quality of their service.In past two months,I had problems ranging from no connections,ip conflict to complete breakdown.I am frustated with their attitude in this matter and need help for the same.

    Indicom Internet Connection — Not Recived the Connection as Commited

    I had Requested for an Tata Indicom Landline with Internet Connection and the Sales men had commited me that he will make sure the connection will be given within 3 working days .

    But its more than 15 working days till now and i have not got any connection and the people in the customer care are not responding will. this is the sickest customer care i have ever come across.

    TATA INDICOM / PLUG 2 SURF — ACTIVATION

    THIS IS RANJEET DESHMUKH, RESIDENT OF BANGALORE.
    I TOOK ONE PLUG 2 SURF CONNECTION ON 21.01.08, VIDE APPLICATION NO. 00257331. AMOUNT OF RS. 2950/- WAS PAID IN CASH ON 21ST ITSELF, HOWEVER TILL TODAY i.e. 31.01.08 CONNECTION HAS NOT BEEN ACTIVATED. MR. JAYANT KUMAR (CELL NO.[protected] COMPLETED THE FORMALITIES, HANDED OVER THE MODEM AND THE SIM CARD THE SAME DAY, WHICH IS OF NO USE AS THE SAME IS STILL NOT ACTIVATED. I WAS ASKED TO CONTACT MS. SHABRIN (TEL NO.[protected] FOR ANY PROBLEMS. FOR LAST 3 DAYS, I AM TRYING TO CALL UP, NOBODY IS ANSWERING THE CALL. I WAS ALSO GIVEN THE NO.[protected] FOR CUSTOMER GRIEVANCES, WHERE I SPOKE TO MS. NIRMA, ACCORDING TO HER, I SHOULD ONLY TALK TO CUSTOMER CARE EXECUTIVE, WHO NEVER COMES ON LINE. WHOSOEVER (BY MISTAKE, I GUESS) ATTENDED THE CALL SAID, HE / SHE WILL CHECK UP AND WILL CALL BACK, WHICH TOO NEVER HAPPENED, EVEN MR. JAYANTH KUMAR EVERY TIME PLAYED THE SAME CASSETTE. I DON'T UNDERSTAND, WHAT IS HAPPENING! I WAS TOLD, THAT IMMEDIATELY AFTER THE ADDRESS VERIFICATION, THE CONNECTION WILL BE THROUGH. SINCE I STAY ALONE, A CLEAR REMARK WAS PUT ON THE APPLICATION AS "CALL & GO", I NEVER GOT ANY CALL, AND SUDDENLY I WAS TOLD, EXECUTIVE WAS THERE FOR VERIFICATION, NOBODY WAS THERE. THIS IS HOW TATA INDICOM OPERATES? I MUST HAVE MADE ATLEAST 50 CALLS ON[protected], ----- NO RESPONSE.
    THIS IS NOTHING ELSE BUT THE CHEATING AND FOOLING THE CUSTOMERS. ONCE THE AMOUNT IS PAID, CUSTOMER IS AT THEIR MERCY, AND THEY TAKE THE FULLEST ADVANTAGE OF THE SITUATION.
    IT IS NOW MORE THAN 10 DAYS HAS PASSED, NOTHING IS HAPPENING AND NOW FOR COLLECTION OF BILLS ETC, THEY WILL BE VERY PROMPT, BUT WHEN IT COMES TO CUSTMER PROBLEM / GRIEVANCES, THEY HAVE DEAF EARS. THEY PROMPTLY DISCONNECT THE CONNECTION IF THERE IS SLIGHT DELAY, EVEN ON ACCOUNT OF THE GENUINE REASON, BUT IN SUCH CASE.....?
    I WOULD PLS LIKE TO KNOW, WHERE SHOULD WE REGISTER A COMPLAINT IN SUCH CASES?
    WILL TATA INDICOM, TAKE SERIOUS ACTION AGAINST THE DEFAULTING PERSONS (I HAVE GIVEN THE NAMES ABOVE)? SOME TIME BACK I GOT A CALL FROM MR. JAYANTH KUMAR, THAT ONE MR. PRADEEP (CELL NO.[protected] WILL CALL ME UP IN 10 MINUTES, STILL NO CALL, EVEN AFTER HALF AN HOUR!
    IS IT NOT THE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE COMPANY TO VISIT THE OFFICE AND CLARIFY, IF THEY CAN VISIT THE SAME PLACE 3-4 TIMES FOR COLLECTING DOCUMENTS & PAYMET, IS IT NOT APPLICABEL FOR THE CUSTOMER SERVICE? OR IS IT RESTRICTED ONLY TO THE COLLECTION OF PAYMENTS & NEW CONNECTION, SO AS TO GET THE COMMISSION?

    Tata Walky — billing at wrong address

    Sir,
    1.On November 07,i was transferred from Mithapur (GUJ)(old tele number645156) to Mundra(GUJ).After a hectic up-down to Gandhidham,ie:120Km for 3 times and filling all the documentation ,residential-proof and paying og past bill----,ultimately i was given new equipmen Tata Walky at Mundra (no.655156)
    2.Due to lack of proper logistics the installation took 15-20 days to complete .Still there is a problem with the equipment as per your local technician and requires re-placement.
    3.Recieved another shock when servises went dead since past 5 days.on enquiring with 121 in detail it was observed that i have not paid my dues for the bill NOT recieved by me till date.On further enquiry the bill has been forwarded to Mithapur where i do not reside.This can not be possible,when i have paid all pending dues,got re-installed after giving new address-proof and completing all my documentation.

    Tata Connection — Wrong communication of Company representatve and disconnection of New connection

    tata indicom plug 2 surf post paid — marketing strategies and billing

    i bought the tata indicom plug 2 surf broad band connection,by their marketting executives gave the brochure in it only written as monthly plan "VALUE FOR MONEY" Rs 325 per month . There is no indiacation of with the taxes are included or excluded. even they doesnot provide more information on it.

    i decdided to take the connection and try it,so i submitted all my documents to them,they given the connection four days before the billing date ,by giving the assurance that NO PROBLEMS it will come with bill.

    but after one month, i asked about the bill only by going to their office.
    they said we send a courier to you but your not at the address that's why it returned,being i was at the same address.

    they advertisied as per month only rs 325, now they are charging more by including so many taxes like service tax,monthly rental, and for the total amount the Educational cess.

    i dont know why these companies are collecting the educational cess,is BY ORDER OF THE hon'ble finance minister.

    i got the bill for rs 622, but i never used the amount.
    they said they are offering 1800 minutes of INTERNET FOR EVERY CONNECTION,1800 minutes means 30 hours of internet,i used only 26 hours 47 minutes from the date of 23jan2008 to 29 feb 2008

    TATA INDICOM - PLUG 2 SURF — Enormous Delay in activating the connection

    I have applied for a TATA Indicom internet connection (Plug to Surf - USB Modem) on Thursday, 19th June 2008. The company official / agent told me that connection will be activated within 48 hours; i.e latest by saturday evening. But once taking the initial money, nobody from the company calls up. Also, the net connection is not yet activated. I end up calling up company officials almost twice or thrice on a daily basis. Now, after 7 days, company agent is asking me to sign an ECS Form to get the connection activated. This is unnecessary harrasment; TATA Indicom is doing. No company that I have come across till date asks for an ECS Form for a simple post-paid connection. And even if it is required then this should have been told by the company officials before taking the application, necessary documents and the money. I would be highly obliged, if any one can assist me in this matter.

    Tata Indicom - internet usb connection — disconnection before due date of payment

    I have taken a new usb moddem internet connection from tata indicom on no [protected] in April 2008 of monthly rental rs .650/- with 1 gb freedownload limit. the bill generation is 12 of every month. in april 2008 i have started using the connection from 15.4.2008 as the moduum was defective and it take time to raplce the moddum . however they have raised the of appro 250 and after discuusing i have made the the payment. but now on today 18.6.2008 i was surprised that they have disconneted my internet due to non payment while the due date is 2.7.2008. when i called up in customer care they have told me that my credit limit of account is Rs. 500/- and i have to make payment immidiate. i was out of town and have to send urgent mail. i make the payment by managing from my township friends or relative and made the payment and they have told me that it will start in 10 minutes and i have continuusly after that but they have told that it will take 6 hours.
    Now. whta is the servive they r prividing i don know . the plan is of 650 rs and they have set the limit at 500 rs. means you will be disconnetd on bill generation date itself. what is that due date then. i have suffer a lot for this and i am writing to consumer court also.

    TATA-Plug2Surf USB Modem — Activation Issue

    I purchased tata plug2surf on 15 Nov 2008, I was told that my connection will be activated same day by 8pm. But nothing was done till next day. I registered complaint to tata indicom complaint no given was 30756. I got calls on 17 Nov and I was promised for quick action. I even got few calls from tata indicom dealer SUNBEAM FACILITIES PVT LTD from where card was purchased but my connection was not activated till 18th Nov.
    Dealer's executive not even felt it necessary to fill up the form and got signed by me. Also he took Rs 2400 but gave receipt of rs 2249. He was not even interested in telling how to insert sim card into usb modem.

    This experience with tata company is very bad, no idea when my connection will be activated. I request TATA to maintain some quality service and cancel contract of such dealers.

    Tata Indicom Mobile — Non adhering to complain of set @ charging monthly charges

    I was issued a LG mobile set bearing no. [protected] by Tata indicom against a wareless Tata land line bearing no. 65346481. Due to their bad services I have surrendered the land phone continuing the mobile. Since approximately 4 months the mobile is not working properly and several times complaints have lodged and no action has been taken yet, instead they are sending regular bills inspite of not using the set. As the no. of the mobile has been circulated being an old one I preferred to continue the same, but I am getting no cooperation from the Company. I am also not agreeable to pay rents etc. for the period I have not used the set.

    My name is Jahanara Begum residing at 7B, Banshi Dutta Road. Kolkata -700014 and we have been a Tata Indicom customer for more than a year. My husband Sheikh Abdullah had bought a Tata Indicom landline connection (tel no. :[protected], account no.[protected] under his name at our residence and was promised a zero line rental and we will only have to pay call charges under Tariff plan: Ws 3 Yr Zero rental Plan. The zero line rental never happened and we have to pay a lot more somewhere around Rs.378/- line rental every month plus call charges. My husband spoke to their customer service and they said that in order to get the zero line rental we will have to take another landline connection from them on the same tariff plan. So my husband bought another Tata Indicom landline connection (tel no. :[protected], account no.[protected] under my name on the same Tariff plan: Ws 3 Yr Zero rental Plan at our premises. The zero line rental never happened again and infact they charged another Rs.358/- line rental per month for every month. Moreover, the Tata Indicom agent came to my house and handed me a Tata Indicom mobile connection (mob no - [protected]) saying that it was completely free with no line rental, and I will only have to pay call charges for the mobile. The mobile bill will be combined with my residential landline phone bill account no.[protected]. Now to my surprise, when I received my combined bill it showed wrong billing of both landlines line rental and extra mobile rental of around Rs. 368/- per month for every month. I made a complaint to their customer service and told them to cancel my mobile connection. They told me to clear my bills first and they will cancel my mobile connection once bills are cleared. I had cleared my bills but the very next month I receive the same bill with rentals for both landlines and mobile as well. This has been happening all the time. I had always cleared my bills in the hope that my mobile connection would be cancelled. Finally I wrote a letter stating to cancel my mobile connection which was signed and approved by their agent Mr. Dipak Das dated 16/07/2008 but to no avail. Again in the month of October 2008 their agent said that if we pay Rs. 600/- our Incoming calls will be restored and mobile connection would be cancelled as they have cut off both the Incoming and outgoing calls long time back on both the landlines and mobile. We paid this amount on 27/10/2008 but the Incoming calls were never restored.



    They have cheated on me many times, by false promising me on many occasions. Giving me wrong information and mis-selling me their second connection and further handing me a mobile connection saying that there is no line rental for the mobile. When told to cancel my mobile account they tell me to pay my bills which I always did but the very next month they send the wrong bills again. I totally want to cancel all Tata connection now as we have been lied and cheated. We will not pay our bills now as no action is being taken from Tata Indicom. In fact they are liable to pay us compensation as they have charged us extra on every bills and has cheated on us.

    What should I do? Kindly advice.

    TATA Indicom — Wrongly recharged and call rate increased

    I received one sms from TATAOFFER that if i recharged for Rs.299/= my call rate will be 50 paise per minutes in any local call. And I have to recharge within 29th and 30th November'08. On 30th November I recharged for Rs.299/= from my local dealer. After that my call rate changes from Rs.1/= to Rs.1.50/=. Several times I call customer care executive that this is not my fault. How a customer can identify the procedure. My existing call rate has been high. This is unbearable for me to call a person. Though I am not getting cheaper rate, as well as my call rate is high.

    i just saw the bill details n i was shocked to see few things..i have been using your conection for more then 2 years now by the means of walkie no-[protected](karnal) n i just changed my plan from 350 to 225 rental..
    my local call rate is 3min/1 rs okk and i have used around about 240 local minutes so according to the applicable call charges, i shuld be charge around 80-85 rupee but in actual i have been charged 152 for my local calls..and the same thing u did with std calls also...

    I have got a Tata indicom prepaid connection in Kerala Circle since it was introduced in Kerala. Now I am at Kolkatha for a few months.My call facility has exhausted.     TATA Indicom — tata to tata free calling cancelled

    Hi i am santosh kahandal using tata indicom mobile phone ([protected])from last two years which inclues tata to tata free outgoing service.and for talking to others i am recharging everytime of Rs.98.but when i rechared in february 12 my tata to tata free outgoing facility was cancelled and i got Rs.2 balance.then i called up to customer care about this problem they told that ur plan has changed and onwards ur card becomes lifelong on recharged with Rs.98 but my previous plan to be given me facility of free tata to tata out going upto 2013.and these people changing plans without intimation to customer and retailer also. the retailer where i had recharged the phone (Alcom Comunication, Fatorda, Margao, Goa )he also not aware with this change in plan then he confirmed with Area sales manager when i complaint to him.
    Please look after the matter.

    Monthly rent changes every month from 324 to 472 of mobiles having business silver plan tariff and also of power 555 plan monthly rent varies. Please give me the details of the changes in monthly rent of both the plan.

    TATA Indicom — NON BENEFIT OF THE SCHEME

    I was approached by marketing person of Tata Indicom by representative of Laxmi Agency. The person told me that if your purchase USB modem now, cost of modem will be adjusted in your air time usage for first six months bill at Rs. 550/- pm maximum. The cost of instrument was Rs. 2600.

    I became their customer by paying Rs. 2600/- on 24/04/2008. My Tata Indicaom No. is [protected]. On receipt of very first bill, I was surprised as there was no credit towards free airtime usage as explained. (The company gives only 300 minutes free per month.) Till date, I am not given extra free airtime as it was explained to me while making me customer.

    I made complaint by email on 29/05/2008. This complaint is only acknowledged and they have not answered me yet. I also contacted their local executive at Gandhidham and he assured for best settlement. He kept the matter pending for a long time by giveing false assurance for settlement within week every time.

    Then I went to his office (Official Shri Abhishek Tulsian) at secor 1-A Gandhidham. I also called marketing representative of Laxmi Agency - Mr. Gondalia there. We all there had a discussion of non benefit of scheme to me. Marketing executive of Laxmi Agency (Mr. Gondalia) was very confident of his selling and he gave Tulsian proof of extension of the scheme in my presence. Shri Tulsian again assured me to extend the benifit.

    Till date matter is pending and during my last call ([protected]) he showed his inability in extending the scheme to me.

    At last, I have nothing but last resort to contact you for justice and settlement as I am likely to suffer loss of Rs. 2600/-.

    I add here that all bills till date are paid by me regularly despite pendancy of complaint.

    There are several calls come to my phone from Tata Indicom to say about new scheme, ringtone, new song etc. I am realy iritate and feeling distrube when the spam calls come at the office time.

    TATA Indicom — Keep sending my bill despite disconnecting the service.

    I was a regular and satisfied user of Tata Indicom Wireless phone for over two years. I was using that mostly for internet. But, due to my change in location, I applied for cancelling the service in February and take back the hand set. They even stopped the outgoing first and later the incoming but didn't took back the hand set. The hand set is of no use to us as we are not using it. The company keeps sending me bill every month with increased amount. Also they send somebody every 15-20 days to ask for the payment. This is totally unethical. It is not that I am not satisfied with the service...but if they continue doing things like this I may never revert to them again.

    This phone stopped working on 16th April 2009 and was sent to Mr. Sandeep (Engineer) Tata Telecom Service centre, Namdev Marg, Bathinda. We were told to collect the telephone on 21st April 2009. A while our driver was sent but he was told to come after 3 days & again to come on 27th April, phone was not ready and on our request they gave an underwriting in writing to collect the phone on 01 June 2009, again it was not ready. We were informed to contact Mr. Vikas (Mobile No. [protected]) customer care officer in Amritsar. This did not help as he also kept on giving us new dates & the driver & vehicle kept on going to collect the phone every 2 to 3 days.

    There customer care no. 121 was also contacted refer our complaint no.[protected] of 11th May, 2009.

    Despite our utmost efforts & request our telephone is still not repaired or handed over to us. We have suffered greatly due to non performance of required services by Tata Tele Services Centre located at Namdev Marg, Bathinda.

    Non availability of this telephone has adversely affected the working of our D.G.M. Mr. Pankaj Gupta who uses this phone. In addition we have incurred large sums of money by sending the driver & officer to collect the phone on promised days/dates. There also has been avoidable mental stress to our D.G.M. & loss of illness.

    We therefore want our repaired set to be given to us immediately and compensation for the items mentioned above.

    I am Sandeep Edarapally i was using Unlimited USB internet service of Tata indicom.. i called customer service to change my tariff from Unlimited to the least tariff.     I am TATA INDICOM user since october 2008.i have post paid conection.The condition of "cmo honest 450 plan" are :-1)tata to tata unlimited free for all over India.2).50p sms all over India.3)Re.1 for any other Std calls.4).50p local calls.
    Now, i get call from tataindicom that they change the tariff plan from next bill cycle.They will restricted my unlimited Free std tata indicom call to a limted time usage of 2000mints.

    but there is still not even any reply by your officials.

    as i am useing the number [protected] from the date 18/09/2009 till today there is lots of wrong balance deduction from the account during this period i was unable to get connected with tata zone service then also c.s.e. are informing to me that balance deducted from my account is due to the useage of captain dhoni and other were as i am unable to use any of the service as when ever i try to do so it shows the error message digital signature failure.     I took this modern on 14th july 09 with 3 month unlimited uses. It was told
    to me that after 3months It will be converted @390/-per month rental by default and my credit limit will be Rs1000/-

    Yesterday my servies has been discard without any information.
    I called the call center at [protected] and after a long holding Mr.Juber ( your call centre guy) inform that due to crossconnection your call has been connected to pre-paid section & you need to call again on same no.
    I request your team to make a call to your call centre & feel the pain what regular customres are facing during call.
    Again I did the whole exersise to talk your executive Mr. Ganesh Ankush , very rudly he told that since my services has beeb barred so neither he can give any complaint no. nor any information regarding my unbilled amount and I was forced to go to your office after taking 2 Hrs leave from my office.
    The most shocking thing I got from your office was my unbilled amout which was 2000+.
    It was really very shocking, embarressing & painful experience.

    1. Why my services were discard & was it my mistake?
    2. Why it was not informed me earlier before blocking my services?
    3. When my limit was 1000/- who authorised your team to exceed the same without informing me?

    To my astonishment, when I called the customer care executive, he gave me an improper reply and said there‘s nothing in his hands(conclusion of the talk).
    He said,
    • That voucher was for night talk time
    • It’s not a top up voucher
    • He was helpless
    I received an sms before I recharged. It is as follows:
    Recharge minimum with Rs.75in next 5days & get 25min extra local T2T talk time & 25 local SMS free for 15 days within 5days. Not valid for pay per call users.
    So, tell me why my amount was retained? That executive cut the phone line. When I called back again some other came into phone line. This time the executive turned out very smart. He cleverly cheated me. He said that amount was added to my number. I believed him but in vain.
    When I again tried the phone line at 9pm the option for talking to executive was blocked.
    This is how Tata Indicom (you) are cheating the customers. This is a great humiliation. I need my top up amount. If not I’ll proceed further

    Tata Telecommunication Services — Phone not restored

    I refer to my landline walky connection of Tata. I had not paid the bills and wanted to surrender the same as I purchased Cell. Then I received a call from Om Enterprises who I beleive are the franchise of Tata Telecommunication because the call was received from them informing that if want to restore the number and was interested in converting the same to pre-paid with life time incoming facility, for which I agreed. She also explained me that internet can be accessed and telephone calls can be made provided I purchase a pre-paid card for utlizing the facility which seems okay for me.The customer care lady agreed to send here representative and requested me to pay Rs. 1253/- including the bill payment and life time incoming charges. Accordingly I paid Rs. 1253/- in cash to the person for which he issued the receipt bearing no. 03001 dated 11.1.2010 paid to Om Enterprises towards Bill payment and post to prepaid charges (Rs.651/-). I had launched a complaint to their customer care for which he provided the number. I reminded them after 72 hours as informed by the person that the complained will be resolved. I had written email to them as well but they are ignoring my complain and also not restoring the line. On and above they are sending me monthly bill for reasons best known to them as the phone number is barred with outgoing and incoming which I am not able to use. I had also informed to them that failure to restore the line I will initiate appropriate action. Kindly do the needful and resolve my complain.

        Dear sir

        Receive your letter PP/SEP/14293 Dt 6 Sep 2007 on 19 sep 2007. Please find our earlier letter to M/s Tata Tele Services (Mah.) Ltd C/o Kamdar Infocom, Latur as attachment mentioning DEFICIENCIES IN SERVICES.

        Service problem facing while accessing services.
        1. Tata Indicom Walky (LG LSP 350T) USB cable not provided to install instrument to computer. Also installation support not receive from Kamdar Infocom, Latur
        2. Too many times, internet connection problems are arises in office working hours. On registration of service complaint, no service engineer of Kamdar Infocom, Latur was attending.
        3. On 25-30 days from date of installation, by considering our service call, Kamdar Infocom engineer was cross check and found there is technical fault in Tata indicom Walky; Means faulty instrument was provided. Then new instrument was providing with out testing.
        4. With such faulty instrument, with out accessing internet and voice calls – first invoice was generated by Tata Tele Services.
        5. With out provide prior intimation, our service gets discontinued and demands Rs 800 (Paid by cheque No 82076 Dt 24/4/2007 – Receipt not yet receive). Service will restart after 8 days.
        6. Many times internet connected with no increment in receive and sent byte, so we are unable to access not a single webpage
        7. Tata Tele services not provide any facility to see bandwidth meter nor data transfer meter.
        8. Itemise detail invoice not provide
        9. Kamdar infocom service engineer unable to prove 156 KBPS bandwidth with Tata Indicom walky (LG LSP 350T) with USB cable connect to desktop computer at our end as per service plan register.
        10. and many more….

        We already mansion that, as we are not satisfy with service provide by Tata Tele service through M/s Kamdar Infocom, so we will fire legal consumer court case at Latur.

        I took one WIRELESS POSTPAID connection on 3rd of Dec'07. It is Rs.325/ month plan & 30Hr free per month. At the time of taking the connection the you people told me this 30Hrs is including downloding. Now on 27th of Dec'07 you have send a bill of Rs.2700/=. it is clearly a cheating & violation of the assurance & terms & conditions. And I am not able to check the status of the usage & the bill. How can a reputed complany you can cheat like this? If you people continue the cheating like this, it will affect your reputation & business also. If you are not going to sort out this matter, I will cerculate this to all off your customers.

          My Tata Indicom CDMA connection No.[protected]. I have paid Rs.255/ for recharge (topup) at a an agency. I got a message that I have a balance of Rs.22.71 on 22June 2009. I have life time incoming facility. Later on I complained with the agency and I got a reply that he cannot do any thing. I have to pay again Rs.222 for recharge.

          How can you decieve innocent people like us? Kindly rectify the mistake and repay the amount of Rs.255 to me.

            the sms service is not at all working with tata indicom mobiles in the peak hours. ehen we are paying the amount you have to provide the best service. please verify this problem. it has become a serious and troubling problem to me.

            I am the existing cutomer of tata indicom but now i have a headache having it due to ur poor services of cutomer care because o[censored]r executives.
            They are so irritating because they cut the phone when i tried to ask something from them.
            The executives should be increased so that we can solve our problems.
            I sometime thinks to break the tata hanset with no. & spread it all over the world not to use tata indicom.
            I am having 4 walky & 2 mobile phones
            And the network is so poor.
            Sorry for all that but i had exprees myself the problems with network & poor cutomer care ie. executives.

              I have taken Tata Indicom Broad band Internet connection about 2 months ago and I am sorry to say that Tata Indicom is failed to provide me a service 10% of that Airtel connection that I am using before. I have given 4 moths payment as advance and if you trace the Internet usage you will come to know that in the periop of two months i was able to recieve internet connection less then 1 month. After I got the internet connectivity the connection was gone within one week and after 15 days when i fed up with your customer care i rush to your nodal office at GK1. Now After that it was good till 19 sept. After that I haven't recived any ineternet connectivity. I called custemer care and they have given me Complaint ID-3690984. but no action at all. Now its nearly two week and I havent use your Inernet. I have Even the no of your Technician of my area Mr. Avinash. I talk to him also but still no progress. What should I do.

              Totally agree. they are worst. No one should take Tata Indicom connection.
              Prompt action must be taken on the complaint. Otherwise it will be an apt example of big names ringing hollow from inside!

              Its very good connection with 2 Mbps download speed. I advice everyone to take it. For any inquiry, pls. contact 60607070.
              I m using tataindicom since 4-5 month.they are not supporting me at any way when i say something they used to say yes i m coming but after that they don't take any action and for solving minor problem also they take 1-2 month which work can be done within max 20-30 min.they have wasted time and money of mine now they don't allow me to dicharge their connection and don't also help to me.So i request u people not again come for tataindicom connection.
              I am also using connection of TataIndicom, But I fell that it was the wastage of my time and money, I am always good with AirTel connection. When I talk to customer care they said We will short out your problem as soon as possible, but I got connectivity after 15 or 20 days and after using 5 or 10 days it again disconnected , I doesn't know abt the problem but most of the I face this problem.
              I totally agree with the fact that this is very same full that company like TATA is giving Such a pathatic service not in internet but also in other area's of telecommuntication they must take some serius steps towards the employees that are working for them. and in my opinion they must shutdown thier telecom sector.

              we have to kick all big peoples in tata indicom broadband and wake up them.
              It has been very very painful experience taking tata indicom mobile connecion.Before expiry of one year guarantee period the set(INDICOM STAR) was not running well,bettery was becoming hot and no incoming and outgoing callls were not connected.There is no service centre available where I am staying,so I deposited my set at the nearest collection centre well before expiry of the guarantee period.But the service centre at Raipur refused to repair the set free of cost on the ground that the same has been recd.by them after expiry of the guarantee period.The issue was taken up with the local Tata sales Representative from time to time without any positive result.

              I have also raised the issue with tata mumbai office but no result has come out.
              I have taken BSNL connection with which I am quite satisfied.
              I HAVE APPLIED FOR A NEW CONNECTION AND MY APPLICATION NO IS--DL00692788.IT IS A POST PAID CONNECTION.ACCORDING TO COMMITMENT IT SHOULD DELIVERED TO ME ON 5TH BUT STIL IT HAS NOT BEEN RECEIVED.CLEAR ME THIS SOON.
              I am frustrated too with their so called "BAZING SPEED" ON THE PLUG TO SURF CDMA DEVICE,
              Iwas promised 144Kbps what I actually get is6-8 Kbps, usually much less. The web pages simply refuse to open and when they do its real snai...ls pace.

              I am sorryyyy that I was "Kajoled into buying this. A sheer waste of money.

              I agree tata internet is pathetic, i have lost my clients due to their poor service ...i m not writing much on this coz i cant express my fustration with using foul language dont want to waste any of my energy over tata people ...pathetic service!!!
              I completely agree with the Service which "TataIndicom" provides to the customers. Previously, i had a Pre-Paid Broadband connection. Enquiry and installation was swift, but most of the times the link would down.Once in a blue moon you would get a chance to connect to internet. After getting a connection form them, you job would be to call Customer Care to book multiple complaints and talk to Area Manager to explain them and try to get the issue resolved. But, they are too smart in making all false promises. Be aware, the technicians would happily close the complaints if they extends beyond 24 hours by just updating some bull reasons. And in my case, the Area Manager would pick the very first call during which he would promise to fix the issue ASAP and will also promise to provide a status update within a hour or so. As-usual you won't be getting any callback as promised.If you call him again, he would happily ignore you by telling he was/is busy in meeting !!! Doubt what these fit for nothing bull discuss in the meetings.

              Bottomline: Worst service & Completely Unprofessional. Never ever think of taking a Broadband connection from them. It has been 4 months, since i disconnected their service, still i am feeling the pain, the frustration which i had experienced.

              NEVER SAY YES TO TATAINDICOM SERVICE.
              Worst service ever seen...
              Waste of time and money with these people...
              My fone bills are shooting up by calling these people plus connecting fone to internet..
              EVEN AFTER PAYING BILL I M NOT GETTING PROPER SERVICES.
              I had taken Tata Indicom Wi Max connection on 4/11/2008, 256 Kbps Unlimited, and for this I had already paid around 3700 INR,
              But from the first day itself I am not getting connectivity, and ocasionally it connects, since then I logged almost 5-6 complaints, but no one visited to fix this problem. And when I ask for the status of the complaint they simply says that they have already closed the complaint as they saw usage from my side. I already told them that yes ocasionally connects, but my question is do they log how many times hours and days customer had attemped to get this connectivity.
              Everyday I return from office and spends almost an hour and two hour to get the connectivity.

              Finally I decided to cancel this connection, then these shameless people says that I won't get my remaining 3 months money back.

              If anyone is listening then can you please advise me what to do now? I tried everything which was possible, now my last hope is this site, Please help me. Money is not the matter but I am feeling fooled and cheated, this is realling hurting me and still these people are flourishing. I want to stop these people to cheat others. Please help me.

              Currently I have got a wi fi connection having user id somnath_sarkar75. The connection was installed on 26.10.2008 and I was promised a free laser printer with the connection by the girl in the customer care whom I was requesting for the connection. The cheque for the payment was collected by your executive Mr. Bipin Baliyan (Tel no. [protected]) and Tata receipt number for the same was 1614097. Since the forms that I was filling up did not have the mention of the offer he had himself written at the back of the receipt "Free HP Laser Printer After Installation" and put his signature on the same.

              I had once checked with Tata customer care a month into the connection and was assured that I will be delivered the printer once my connection was a month old.

              Today (24.01.2009) as was enquiring about the connection and the offer, Tata customer care executive (Mr. Sudhir) had informed that I am not entitled to any free printer and that the offer was not valid at the time of installation in Ghaziabad.

              This is to formally register complaint against fradulent methods undertaken by the company to add new customers.

              I would take the matter to media and to consumer cell in case the grievance is not redressed at your level.

              Pathetic attitude towards solving problems, they never solve it and just raise docket numbers assuirng you that they will solve. But never solves. I think their IT systems across functions are not synchronized. Billing gives you one info while account management gives you another info. A big flop.

              MY Tata indicom prepaid CDMA mobile-HUAWEI C2607 has been blocked and showing Uim card is Blocked.. Pls tell me how can i getrid off this problem or how to solve it????

                My Tata Indicom land line no: is 65300956. My husband had contacted Tata Indicom Customer Care on the non functionality of the Wireless Land line phone. The antenna is very loose and now we are unable to get any incoming or outgoing calls. The customer care rep promised a person to come to our address to fix / replace the phone.. that was 1 week ago.. still no help not even a callback. MY customer complaint no is 83685039 . Can some one from Tata Indicom personnel please get in touch with me / fix this issue at the earliest ?

The customer care rep every time he attends & simply adjust the atena, if I ask for replacement of the phone with the new one, he simply says that is not his job.                 The person has not visited my residence as per time given yesterday between 2-4 P.M.
                Earlier, someone from Tata indicom office was reported to have come when I was not at home but he made contact with a neighour and got my identification confirmed. The person could connive with a chronic offender, a political party worker who has been even conniving with courier private services. Will you please take immediate action.                   Maine apna proper address bhi kai baar Tata indicom me diya hai fir bhi vo log har baar mujhe phone karte aur puchte" sir apka address kya hai"
                  chahe mai roaming me hi kyo na hu. Fir bhi mujhe mere bill time par nahi milte the. customer care me phone karne par vo bolte the ki tum DUPBILL type karke send karo duplicate bill mil jaye ga . maine kitni bar DUPBILL DUPBILL send kiya lekin meri request kabhi note hi nahi hoti thi
                  Fir ek ajent Mr. sukhvinder aane laga bill lekar. maine use bill pay kar diya us din last date thi fir bhi mere dono no: band ho gaye jab maine customer care se baat ki to unhone kaha ki apne bill pay nahi kiya hai

                  fir last this year in moth of May maine dono no: band karwane ke liye unse request ki ki I want to disconnect my numbers and send me full bill so that I can made the payment on time. tab bhi mujhe bill bahut late mile tab maine Patiala lila bhavan me Tata Indicom office me Mr. Vijay ko Bill payment kar di .
                  Bill amount near abt 4000 ka tha mr. vijay ne kaha ki tum 3000 pay kar do aur 1000/- apki security me adjust ho gaye hai. aur apke no: bhi Disconnect ho gaye hai.
                  Fir after a few day Vo agent Mr. Sukhvinder fir se aa gaya aur kahne laga ki tumara 1000/- bill pending pada hai use pay karo. aur security adust nahi hui hai .
                  AUr kahne laga ki aap 400/- hi pay kar do company ne ek scheme shuru ki hai jisme apko 600/- concession hai ek achha customer hone k lye.
                  aur apki security 1000/- ki 40 din baad apko mil ayegi.
                  So i give him 400/- and after 40 days jab mai tata indicom LILA bhavan office me gaya to mr.Vijay ne kaha ki us agent ne to apke no: fir se shuru kara diye hai aur ab apki koi security nahi hai.
                  tab maine fir se disconnect ki request dali. us agent ko phone kiya to vo phone recieve nahi karta hai
                  ab un dono numbers me se mera [protected] wala no: NONSIM mobile par tha .
                  mai ia mobile par Tata Indicom Prepaid number lena chahta hu. lekin mera ESN No: ahi tak free nahi kiya gaya hai jabki May month me maine sari payment kar di thi.Aaj tak mere alternate no: par phone aa rahe hai ki apna payment karo. jiskla maine alternate no: diya tha vo bhi pareshan ho gaye hai .
                  Jab Tata office me jao to koi properly guide nahi karta hai. sab kah dete hai ki mai kuch nahi kar sakta hu.
                  Aaj ki Date me Na to security hi milne ki umeed hai aur na hi mera mobile free hai taki mai dusna prepaid number activate karwa saku.
                  vo log kahte hai ki kal aana parso aana
                  har roj chakkar pe chakkar kaat kaat kar mai preshan ho gaya hu.
                  I m a B. Tech chemical engineer. Padhe likhe logo ka hi jab itna pagal banaya jaa raha hai to anpadho ka ye log kya karenge

                    I would like to say that , just now I had purchased a TATA Indicom Mobile after a months , my battery is not working then I had called to Tata Customer care service , they suggested me to go to service cente and show the problems, then I had visited the center in Uttam Nagar name of the Service center is V. Communications that is TATA mobile service cente. After I had shown my mobile they told me that your mobile is not working due to it shows something large, they had made a receipt and told me that afer a week you can take new battery, and you should deposited your old battery. When I visted the place She (Neha) had given me old battery intead of new. Then she unnecessary agrue with me. lastly somebody told that she had sold my battery of Rs. 314/= in the markaet. Please take necessary action against Neha as well as Branch Manger Sanjay.
                    MAtter should be treated as most urgent.

                    TATA INDICOM is cheating its custmoers by therir attractive offers. They will promiss you some thing and after some time they will discuntinue your offer with out any intimation.
                    in my case, I recharged my mobile with 2008 ruppes where they promissed 2008 days of validity and 2008 rupees talk time + tata to tata free unlimited minutes for the whole period. but after a year they just discontinued my plan though i am mailtain a balance of 2000 rs.
                    Beware of these guys. and theire customer support is so lousy
                    It is a company with third class custmor satisfaction. Though it is related to a big name Ratan Tata, its custmor satisfaction is zero. Nobody cares about us though I am related to the company since it started its network in Delhi. You cann*t get in touch with 12524 for many days and by God*s grace i[censored]r call is connected, Its IVR system is so faulty that you cann*t talk with any executive. You are lucky if you are able to get any executive on your mobile

                      About 20 days back I logged a complaint for activation of internet using Tata Indicom Walky on my HP laptop which have Window Vista as operating system.I was informed it will be done in 12 hours. More than 12 days have passed. More 12 people have called upon me on more than 12 occassion but they are least concerned to solve my problem. They want tthat I should be available at their suitable time to seek their help. They have least concern for my compulsion. They can't work before 10 in morning.They can't work after 7 pm either. Expecting them to extend customer service on Sudays/holidays is like asking for moon.
                      I hold Tata as very highly reputed brand but this experience has shattered my belief . If any boy is on the helm of affair at Tata Indicom, concern about my plight,please take a note and instruct concerned people to make available me services without delay at a time/day convenient to me.                         Dear Sir,
                        I am a tataindicom user under Account no[protected] & tele nos [protected] &[protected]. I have been errenously charged Rs 629= under the heading Internet subscription fees Rs 1500/= pm vide bill no;[protected] dated 23/08/07 for the period 21/07/07 to 20/08/07, to which I have not subscribed.
                        After bringing the discrepancy to the notice of Mr Gagandeep, Mr Dinkar & Mr Ilas Khan the local tataindicom service providers of Distt Shajahanpur (Uttar Pradesh), I had paid Rs 1305/= vide receipt no: 20207388 towards the actual usage of phones by me. However my out going calls have been suspended by the service center since 09/09/07.
                        When my services were not restored I had lodged a complaint with customer care vide complaint no: 86042309 dated 16/9/07 requesting them:-
                        To restore my outgoing calls immediately.
                        Cancellation of Internet charges errenously levied on me.
                        Restoring my free usage of net from 10.00 PM to 06:00 AM.
                        Cancellation of Internet usage under Rs 1500/= plan.

                        However to my dismay I found on 26 Sept 07 that vide bill no:[protected], dt 23/9/07 for the period 21/08/07 to 20/09/07 I have been again billed for the Internet Subscription amounting to approx Rs 870.97/= & total bill being Rs 2306/=.
                        You are requested to kindly take stock of situation & implement the following:-
                        To restore my outgoing calls immediately.
                        Cancellation of Internet charges errenously levied on me in the bill of Aug & Sept 07 respectively.
                        Restoring my free usage of net from 10.00 PM to 06:00 AM.
                        Cancellation of Internet usage under Rs 1500/= plan.
                        Kindly let me know by return mail the actions initiated by you to enable me decide continuance of your services.

                        TataIndicom — Bill are not rectified

                        I have a Mobile Connection with number [protected].
                        I have paid all the Bills in Time Yet there is out Standing comming in the Tune of Rs 10000 in My Bill. It has been informend to The bareilly office but No action has been Taken

                        TATA Indicom — HORRIBLE BILLING...

                        Dear All,

                        Beware of Tata Indicom Billing. This is in regards to my last bill[protected] data 9/2/2009 for my connection no. [protected]. The bill amount was INR 1010. I have got a plan where 30 hours is free with minimum bill amount is INR 365. According to my internet log, from 07/01/09 to 06/02/09 my usage is of approx. 21 hours.

                        Upon registering a complaint, still they are not able to solve the problem.
