[Resolved]  Tikona — Harassment by tikona

I took a plan of Tikona User ID: [protected]. 1 Mbps unlimited plan.. IN the night the services doesnt work, they say the load is too much on the server. Call customer care u in queue for half an hr.. They say they will send an enginner.. The Engineer comes and says they have very basic server which cant take laod, so adviced me not to use in the night.. Now whats the use of the net if it doesnt work in the night...
I called customer care asked them to sed me the bill and cancel the connection.. they aid it will take 15 days to disconnet. I said wow take 30 days or 1 yr but i wont pay anything from today.. i[censored] r so lazy to login into the system and stop the services its your fault not mine...

Then in Dec i received a call from a lawyer in delhi.. he said make the tikona payment or i will lodge a complaint againt you in delhi high court..
I said company has not send me the final bill how can i make the remaining payment... he said that company wont do just make the payment..
I said how can i randomly make a payment when i dont know how much i have to pay... he said pay 1793 rs... immediatly or else by lunch time i will lodge a complaint..

First they torture us by not providing services then they ask there agents to call us and threten us..
Can i get my money back now from them? Is there any way to solve these harrasment...

Tikona Secured Wireless Broadband services — Connection delay

I have booked for internet connection 6 days back, still now i do not get any connection.
Non of the company people respond to the phone call. They take hole money after that not respond my call.
It seems that Tikona people are not interested to resolve my closing connection request since april 2012 as you are sending me bills on regular basis. I am attaching the Tikona documents which shows that my unused hardware was collected by tikona on 21-Apr-2012. Now will you justify why billing was done for may, jun ,jul, aug when there is no hardware in my premises and Total usage MB is zero. (See detailed billing detail below)
You have not settled my bill of april as i requested many times (Plz see service request in bottom). In month of april my net never worked(only usage 991MB while in march i used 21405MB) then why shoud i pay full amount for 10 days as my connection activated from 20th of month. I requested to disconnect on 1st april 2012 but it was delayed at your end and hardware was dismentled on 21st april.

I again request you to give me correct bill B[protected] for april month only for 10 days on pro rata basis so that i could pay it. I am willing to resolve the issue. If you people are not serious than I have to take this matter to consumer court as a case of harassment as your agent’s keep calling me for payment(or extortion of money).

even me and my friends were victim of this tikona broadband hyderabad..they have cheated me..1 and half year back i paid 500+100(some charges)=600 for net connection to their agent named prasad, they were no signals in our area, they have given all false information, the reality is they were no signals in our area..when i tried to call that person prasad, he dint pick my calls, when i called him form diff num, with out any hesitation he replied that
"this is our business, we need to increase our connections in order to meet out target we do like this, u will never get ur money back""
this is the reply i got from that agent..
later came to know that in our building totally 10 families were cheated by this tikona agents.
in our colony in the simalar way they have cheated hundreds of families
I am loknarayan gupta residing in navi mumbai, vashi. i took a tikona prepaid connection in 2010 for one year (consumer id: [protected]). in june 2011, i shifted from my current apartment to a nearby other apartment (1.5 km away). i called tikona service center & told them to transfer my connection to new place. they didnt do that. as per them in that perticular area there services was not avilable (area:- Raheja apartment, sector 14, vashi, navi mumbai. so i told them to disconnect the connection & give me back my deposite (1000 rs.). they didnt do that also They told me to pay one month charges 500. so i told them them cut the amount from my deposite & remaining 500 rs send me back. they didnt do anything.
today 02.09.2013 after three years back i got a call from one lawyer from delhi (his no [protected]). he is telling me to pay 3256 rs. or he will file case tomorrow in delhi high court. then i ll have to pay 1.5 lacs. or my bank account, license pan card everything will be blocked. as i am in mumbai so cant go to delhi.
please help me. or advise me should i file a case against tikona. or should police complain against that delhi lawyer.

We availed the services of Tikona Wireless Broadband in Mysore from April 2012. We took a plan where we had to pay in advance for three months. After paying for the 2nd time, suddenly their services in Mysore stopped. They took their modem also and assured that a refund will be provided. However, even after repeated complaints through their Customer Care we did not get any refund. When we checked in our account a bill was generated where a negative amount was shown in the amount due part. They had even charged an amount of Rs. 1500 as termination penalty charges. Now, they have filed a case against us of non-payment of the bill amount. This is complete harassment from their side. First of all they did not give us any refund of the amount that we had paid, even after acknowledging that through their last bill. Secondly, they had mentioned a termination penalty charge in the last bill, which is completely uncalled for as their services were discontinued in Mysore and for that we are not the persons to be charged for. Lastly, they have filed a case against us for non-payment, which is ridiculous as we are the persons who should get a payment. I have attached the last bill that they had generated which has all the details of the amount of money that we are supposed to receive.

Dear Tikona,

I took Tikona Internet connection on Jun 2013 and was with you till September 2013. Though the

speed of the connection was good and I was happy with their services but what I experienced

after the disconnection was beyond horrendous. I called you somewhere in end of September

and asked you to discontinue my account which you agreed to at that point in time.

However, I got called back in November asking for bill settlement, anyways I informed

at that point in time that I am not a user anymore and please discontinue the

services. This time around I also sent an email to their customer care account and also to

their local area representative namely Mr. Santlal Sharma.

Even after doing all that I got a threatening call on 4th Dec saying that I have not yet

paid my bill and this matter is going to be sent to court. The caller apparently was an

advocate. They asked me to deposit Rs. 1, 445 (I don&#039;t know how they reached this number).

At this point I debated on whether I should deposit this money or not as I haven&#039;t used

their services during this period, however like a normal citizen I didn&#039;t want to get into

any legal trouble for such a meager amount and hence I deposited the money. I tried calling

the so called &quot;advocate&quot; after depositing the money but to no avail. He wasn&#039;t available!

Matter was fine to this extent but lately I started getting a call from them to deposit

further Rs. 1, 500 as there is more bill pending. Now, the interesting point - this guy who

called me from number [protected] said that his name is Advocate D K Suri (please note that

he also introduces himself as Chetan Sharma when he call people for extortion) and that he is going to take legal action against me. This time again I relented in the starting thinking that this is a meager

amount, I was going to deposit the amount but I thought let me search for this number first

I have all the proofs that I have asked them to discontinue my account and it&#039;s completely

irresponsible and unprofessional for them to ask money for the time period they didn&#039;t

provide any service. On the top of that they are threatening me!!

Till now, I was holding back to consult my lawyer uncle on this due to the amount of money

involved being small. But now, this is a question of ethics and standing for what is right.

So, Dear Tikona,

Please let me know how you are going to address my issue. I know you have enough resources

and frauds at your end to call and extort money from me but not this time. I know you can

see this complaint and I will wait for you to revert back to me before taking any legal

action. Just because a normal person don&#039;t want to get into legalities doesn&#039;t mean that he

can&#039;t stand for his principles and what is right!

you as last 10 calls from you have been about extortion. So, please don&#039;t call me even
