[Resolved]  Tneb — Double payment not reflected

I made a payment of Rs. 4319.62 by using the Verified by Visa credit card facility from my HDFC bank account on 11th October 2009. I got the online receipt also called e_receipt from the TNEB authorities online. But when I check the Bill status it does not reflect in that. The authorities when enquired personally by me, keep saying that the amount can be refunded only if it appears in the bill status enquiry. Attached is the screen print of the receipt.

They never answer why they have a half-cooked computerization where the payment is accepted online but their account books never reflect the payment though payment receipt has been sent!!!

After first meeting SE of the division in which my connection is, I went and met the Financial Controller (Revenue) at his office opposite to LIC building, Anna Salai, Chennai. After 3 days after meeting him, the amount was refunded to me to my bank account.

This complaint is withdrawn
payed eb payment on 3.4.2012 through Hdfc internet banking for the amt. of 856.
first time i get error msg. and printout not . and i go for 2 time. i got printout .
afterthat in my a/c 2 times they are dedected and give two tr. nos. mentioned below.
i clarified bank side no problem.
plz. check and refund and amt of 856 asap.

This problem was resolved after 3 months after visiting the TNEB main office at Chennai Anna Salai and getting hold of the SE concerned.

street light not burning

sc no 1193 opp osite my home there is street light, that light is not burning

frequent power cut

Respected sir i have been living in valsaravakkam since 1 yEar. But in the recent 1 month poWer is going 5-7 times each day. So i request you to do something quickly
