[Resolved]  Toyota Motors Lottery Promo International Promotions / Prize Award. — Authenticity

I received e-mail on 2 june 2009 fron Dr Mark Joe Foreign Services Manager, Transglobe Finance Securities EMAIL:[protected]@yahoo.cn OR [protected]@yahoo.cn telling that I have won an amount o[censored]S$0750,000, 00 in cash, including a Toyota car which is the winning present /amount for the Second category winners. This is from the total prize money o[censored]S$12,650,000.00 shared among the international winners in the Second category. I was also told to contact Mr. Yung Lee (Fund Manager) Telex Transfer Section to claim the winning amount.

On contacting through e-mail I have been told that I need to fill a form with all my personal details (form given as attachment) and further I was asked to pay usd$950 which amounts to 60,000.00 rupees in indian currency to an Indian Agent. Without which no clearance of the winning amount could be made. I further contacted Mr. Yung Lee on the phone and requested him to allow deduction of the clearance fees from the winning amount but he was reluctant in doing so. He gave me an Indian Agent’s Bank account details and PAN number and directed me to pay the amount through bank transfer. Till now nothing has been done to release the said winning amount. If this is spam then it would bring disgrace to the Chinese Government. Please tell me whether it is a spam or is it genuine and in such a case what should I do. Please verify and provide authenticity.
