clutch plates diffect

fortuner clutch plate defect

7months old fortuner, self driven by me[ with 25 year driving exp]

total run 14000 ,, suddenly vehicle clutch plates collapsed on 12th aug at tirupathi - nellore hogh way , we handed over behicle at toyota show room and reached hyderabad using other transport along with family ,
problem
1, how can clutch plate collapse with just 14000 km run ?

No. D.L.8C.L 7704, from SPIRITED AUTO CARS (I) LTD, MATHURA RD, NEW DELHI VIDE INVOICE NO. A[protected].We had sent the car to D.C. Pune from the showroom. The D.C. Pune has removed your all the four back seats in full & handed over the same to us. Now these seats have become a problem for us.We contacted your showroom in Delhi to help us to liquidate the said seats but they have shown their reluctance as they cannot buy anything from the market.
We shall be highly thankful to you,if you please help us to dispose off the above seats.If you wish, we can pack them in boxes & dispatch to your workshop or if facilitate us, we can deliver them to your any of the office. We don't mind if your company pay or credit our a/c even after the proper utilization of seats or their encashment, adjust the amount in our future services as we already have two vehicles of Toyota-i.e. Corrola & Innova. We hope as a very special case & to help out your regular & faithful customer, you shall certainly work-out something & inform us.

    I Raajesh Khanna , have given the vehicle No: MH-03-AM-3969 Toyota Innova for general sevice at M/s. Wasan Toyota sevice centre at chembur, Mumbai on dated 23.07.2010. As I have to leave for Leh today night, I have taken the vehicle for checking the air pressure today and the air pressure man told me that my spare tyre has got a big cut and he can fill the air in it, I was shocked to see that My unused spare tyre was put on front RH side without My knowledge. I Immediately call the service advisor Mr. Adnan at Wasan Toyota service centre and he denied for the same. I took the vehicle to their workshop Immediately and a diffrent story was created by them that the spare tyre was already punctured. Sir if I was using the spare tyre, the colour ring should have been gone, but the tyre is totaly un used. seeing the tyre condition the servce advisor Immediately changed his word and said that now you people must have change the tyre and come to us with the compain. This is the total negelance at the service centre and fooling the valuable Toyota costome, I request you to takeup the serious action against the service centre and get me the replacement of tyre today itself as I am leaving for Leh to night as per my schedule.

    we have given the innova for the rear glass fitting
    due to accident the rear glass was broken.
    the inssurance survey was done the same day.
    now the delay is from the company, that they do not have the glass available, and when the work will be completed there is no surety ?.
    i request you to see that this kind off small jobs has to be done in 24hours.

      i had purchased a toyota innova car from annamalis toyota agencies in trichy tamilnadu in march 17th 2010. after 2000km i noticed that in both front tyres there are cracks near the rim. immediately i taken the vehicle to the service centre one of mr.balakumaran told us that its the fault of tyre company hence we will change the both the tyres with in three days. but after several time when i contact him he use to tell me that nostock of tyre at present sir, after i receive i will call u. till today he did't call me.after repeat call i made to customer care centre in bangalore.my problem not solved pls kindly help to solve the problem. thanking you, mrs.suseethra ravichandran , my invoice no.           My name is Capt. Gaurav Behal based in Gurgaon .Sir, as per your ads in newspaper for booking of toyota fortuner, i have tried my level best to book a fortuner & i went to all the dealers in Delhi & Gurgaon in 1st week of july but i am not able to book it .

          Sir, i think there is some scam going on in the name of booking where the dealers are booking the fortuner themself in someother name & later on selling it at a premium of two lacs Rs.

          And the genuine customer like me are facing all the hardship in a reputed company like Toyota.

          Sir, i request you to look into the matter & do the needful.

            Further to my information that I have already filed the case against Toyota Motors Thailand for supplying the SUB STANDARD CAR and refusal to accept the responsibility.

            Recently while driving the car, the brake system totally failed and I was lucky to have survived the situation and escaped unhurt.

            My legal adviser advised me to write to the Executive of Toyota Motor Thailand informing them that I would like to stop using the car until the legal process is through.

            Keeping that in mind, I prepared the letter and visited office of the ASST.MANAGING DIRECTOR MR. VICHIEN EMPRASERT to submit the letter. On reaching their office after informing the reception that like to meet the Secretary to Mr. Emprasert and was told to wait for a while.

            After 40 minutes of waiting, instead of meeting the Secretary,I was surrounded by 5 Security personal of the Building informing that they will guide me to the Reception room and escorted me to the elevator, on seeing that I asked them where are they taking me to , they said to the reception center of the Security Dept. which means that they were going to take me hostage and could have easily done harm to me. On knowing this,I protested and they started shouting and threatening me. On reaching the ground floor, they snatched my I D card from the hands of the staff.

            On seeing this, I snatched the card back from the Security personal and yelled at him that HE HAS NO RIGHTS TO THAT CARD and walked off and went to lodge the complaint at the Police Station looking after that jurisdiction.

            I have informed the lawyer and he has already included this incident in the Case I have already filed .

            The hearing is coming up on the 15th of July and I am sure I will get the justice.

            I AM INFORMING THIS TO YOUR READER TO BE CAREFUL IN BUYING THE TOYOTA CAR as they might go through the same fate as I am going through.

            I have given three times for same repair still my car is not thru. I am not sure how should I compalin about these criminals.
            Toyota Motor Thailand Rangsit contains bunch of jokers who are good for nothing. If you give your car for brake repair they will loose your all parts and again you have to visit..
            You have to visit them 100 times for same problem..again and again and again..

            Al bloody thieves..
            NEVER buy car from TOYOTA Thaliand..
            TOYOTA Thailand Rangsit Dealer is a Thief, will steal all good parts from your car and will put bad parts.. You cannot do anything to them..they are robbers

              dear sir , i purchased a toyota fortuner in the month of february, the vehicle seems to be not passed through quality checks, i find the brakes of the vehicle very very poor, any one can met with the accident driving this vehicle if depending on brakes.the sound of engine is very badm too noisy when given acceleration, cannot attain speed what described in borushers. pls help me, the vehicle was taken from jabalpur dealer.pls help, vehicle num being up-95-d-7373

                  Hi I'm from Chandigarh and i bought my fortuner on 4th Feb-2010 no. CH 01AB2274 and my car has run already 5000kms and even i have been facing the same problem with my brakes and the staff at the showroom knew about this problem and did some bleeding work which hardly made a difference for 1week and after that they told us that the brake kit is to be changed which they will get from Toyota. From past 45 days they are saying the same thing. I am unable to take this car somewhere out after spending this much huge amount.

                    I am a proud owner of a Toyota innova which I had brought from wasan Toyota Nasik. I was very much impressed by the performance of the car and started having faith in the quality of Toyota. With my earlier experience with Toyota I had decided to book a FORTUNER, cancelling my earlier booking for Audi q5 which I was planning to buy before. I thought fortuner to be a better vehicle and a value for money...

                    We have purchased Toyota Fortuner from Frontier Toyota Jabalpur on dated 10/1/2010.
                    Since beginning ,we were not satisfied with the ABS break system. We complained to the dealer and finally they replaced the ABS kit in month of may. But after the replacement of this kit also there is no improvement in the breaks.
                    For your information we also have Innova (2006 make)with us ,whose breaks are still better than fortuner.
                    The breaks are so dangerous that when I went to bhopal 7 days back by Fortuner ,by the grace of God , I got saved from meeting an accident with a truck . The truck stopped on the way and my driver luckily managed to stop fortuner before smashing the truck in the back.
                    Second problem is the Rear Suspension where the tyre starts collisions with the body after seating 6 people.
                    Third Complaint is the vehicle does not take load in the 3rd gear making it difficult to drive in the city limits.

                    It is sad to see there is blatant disregard for the indian consumer!

                    The media should be ashamed and so should the government agencies.

                    I am glad nobody has had a calamity, rather I wish nobody ever has a clamity thanks to these brakes!

                    The brakes are terrible, the dealers dont care, Toyota does not care.

                    Toyota should learn as it should still be reeling from the US action against them due to faulty throttle and acceleration!

                    In India, they have not learned and nobody hold them accountable and the media has forgotten true journalism!

                    Sad days for the Indian Consumer!

                          Espirit Toyota has been selling service coupons at Rs.500/- While selling the coupons, they promised fre pick and drop facility. When i sent my car Mr. Mathew, the workshop manager for Espirit Toyota refused to get the car dropped back an literally told me he will not drop the car back. the company it seems into promising the earth and delivering what every other servcie station of Toyotal does- Provide no customer care. if you are buying a Toyota Vehicle, stay ready for poor customer care and absolutely arrogant service stations who renegade on their own promises.

                            ) I purchased Toyota Foretuner from galaxy toyota , kotla mubarakpur opp defence colony on 20.1.2010 by bill no A[protected] with engine no 6436025

                            2) The limited warranty no is FA 5003296 and comprehensive Insurance was done at galaxy Toyota under IFCO TOKIO

                            3) The brakes create a jarring noise and vibration and jammed all of a sudden on 20.4.2010 when the vehicle infront stopped and led to accident with damage to my vehicle on bumper, front head light , fog light and fender and bonnet. My son in law who was driving the vehicle sustained injury (abrasion) on his chest and his medical examination revealed trauma and hypertension subsequently on 20/4/10.I lodged a police complaint too in DLF phase1 gurgaon regarding accident-diary no 15 dated 20/4/10

                            4) I went to Toyota galaxy , moti nagar and submitted my vehicle for repair at workshop on 21/4/10 and brought to notice of the employees of Toyota repair workshop about faulty brakes .The repair estimate given was Rs 85000 and delivery was due on 26/4/2010

                            5) I informed Toyota Kirloskar motors Customer care via email and telephone on 21/4/2010, and also informed general manager customer service , Galaxy Toyota , Moti Nagar,regarding the same defect on 21/04/2010 and complaint no TKMMAIN 10A 115394 was given to me
                            6)I have not received the vehicle delivery on 26.4.10 and my complaint has not resulted in any relief to me. Moresover since three months my Registration certificate and Insurance policy also has not been given to me.
                            7)This is to Inform Toyota Kirloskar motors that consumer complaint will be at the cost and expenses of your concern , and I will seek compensation for the mental agony to me and the mental and physical agony to my son in law who was driving the vehicle at time of accident caused due to the manufacturing deficiency in the vehicles braking system. The vehicle defect should be corrected and replacement of defective parts due to accident to be done by Toyota company .

                            please help me to get justice against this manufacturing defect that could have proved deadly

                              all Fortuners manufactured post March 2010 have "ZERO" brake problems, i bought one a week back and the Brakes are perfect, i took it to 160, and the brakes work absolutely fine.

                              I completely agree with all the other statements made by everyone here, and i do feel sorry for you guys as you spent the same amount of money, but the bitter truth is that all new fortuner's from here on would have very good brakes, and zero problems

                              We, Patliputra Builders Ltd, recently have purchased a TOYOTA Fortuner from GALAXY Toyota, NEW DELHI on 10th november 2009 with Registration no- JH07D 9009 and Engine No- 1KD6391885 with the Chassis No- MBJ11JV[protected] knowing all the extreme promises that it keeps with it. But to our utter surprise ever since we purchased this we came to know that the braking system is absolutely worst than we must have anticipated. It doesn’t even worth a standard. Had we knew it before, we mustn’t have opted for this SUV. Toyota is actually known for its strong built and high technologies. But it has really been nothing less than a disappointment for all o[censored]s every itme we drive it. We also tried for the dealership nearby but it leads us to some more problems as they also have no solutions at all. For the last five or six month we have been consistently facing this problem and we are tired of it now.                               I recently got a new fortuner UP 43 V8011, its been 2 months i was happy with it, but on 21st april 2014, i met with a sever accudent with a bus . I was driving it at the speed of 90 to 100 km/hr mark n suddenly a bus came from no where in front of me. There was a dustance of 80 to 100 meter, i honked n took a strong brake but brakes didnt work at all, n i banged the bus, it was a very fatal accident. Thank god air bags did open, i was completely shocked after this incident, a premium suv with so much power has such poor brakes . I escaped death.

                              I want toyota to compensate me n give me a new car. Im not gonna settle for less. Tomorrow going to toyota dealership

Yesterday i.e. 28/6/2015 I was driving on highway at a speed of 80 km/hr, suddenly the accelerator stopped working and my car started slowing down and then the steering got jammed. I stopped my car and restarted it again...after that "Malfunction" yellow coloured sign was glowing in the speedometer. However i restarted my car and somehow reached my destination. But during the journey of 150kms the yellow "Malfunction" sign was continuously there and the pick up power of my car was seemingly down. I have shown to the dealer Chandra Toyota, Udaipur ...they are unable to recognise the fault.
