[Resolved]  Indian Railways — Undelivered i-ticket booked in Oct 2007, till date

I have booked an i-ticket in IRCTC online to travel on 7th of Oct 2007, but till date I didn't receive that ticket. They didn't even reimburse my money till date. I have raised many mails to IRCTC concerned officers they say it is still pending. Its just a PING-PONG game with the Railways, Courier people.

Dear Customer,

First of all, please get the ticket delivered and then surrender the I-Ticket with the Station Master and obtain a Ticket Deposit Receipt.

Prefer your claim for refund to the following address attaching the originalcopy of the Ticket Deposit Receipt:

Dear Customer,

Amount will be deducted as per the railway rules. We cannot cancel your
ticket as the same is with courier and not with us. So, please ask for
ticket delivery from the Overnite Express and cancel the same
accordingly.....

Hi,

I have booked a i-ticket and I didn't get the ticket till date where as IRCTC site shows that it is delivered, the date of journey was on 7th Oct 2007. when I called the courier people (Mr. Deep) they say that they them self will cancel the ticket and see to that my amount will be remited to my account which didn't happen yet. Please let me know how do I proceed further in getting this resolved.

Hi Shiraj/Pravesh/Rishi,

Have some one looked into this issue, this had happened loooong back in Oct 2007 and I am still waiting to get back my amount spent, with my no mistake I had to suffer for such transactions.

With all this mail proof I have consulted my lawyer to sue, after keeping informed you people of such negligence from some end.

Rs/- 700 is no less amount to leave for its fate.

This is to bring it to your notice that i Rakshit Sharma, had deposited two pices of Box at Mysore, Railway Station Clock room on March 1st for 3 days ..While collecting briefcase back from the clock room on March 4th, 2008 found one briefcase which was Black in Colour was not mine .I informed the lady at the counter by name Leela .However she insisted me that it was mine .Rather it was my father's briefcase who live in Baroda and was handed over it to me to get it when I reach Baroda . There was no receipt no in the briefcase to verify weather it was mine.

On reaching Baroda my Father Dr Sharma informed that it was not our briefcase. We immediately visited Baroda Railway Station and explained the matter to the Station Master Mr Singh . Who was Kind and understood the matter he immediately called Mysore station and spoke to Clock room in- charge and assured that our Black briefcase is in their Custody .

Later we called Mysore station, clock room and spoke to Ms Leela and requested her to send the Box and in return we would send the one which was forcefully handed over to us. She agreed to the same and after few days we received call from Ms. Leela and mentioned that Mr Iqbal Ahmed ( In- charge Pantry Car ) would get our briefcase and handover it to us and we need to give the briefcase which was with us, we agreed to the same. No news for long days. Tried calling but there was no proper response. After a week or so, we received call from Ms. Leela, who said that she will not be able to send the briefcase, until we personally go and collect. And courier the briefcase which is with us . We spoke to the Supervisor as well but we got the same answer.

Under the above circumstance I request you to kindly look into the above matter as that Brief Case is important and I would require it, which is lying in the mysore clock room from closer to a month . As I am unable to travel to Mysore .

one day i travelled in dadar from mumbai returning chennai, the train crossing the andhra border i dont know the exact place, ther a group of tat kind of persons get into the train,
unfotunately i was lonely got to them, they satarted torturing me by asking give 50 rs 100 rs.or else i'll do something you..
please take necessary action.please make free passengers when they taravel in trains.

at first i will say that most of the staffs in indian railway are bad usless and without any kindness once when i was sitting in howra station i saw a tte checking peoples lugages i was sad to see that he took fine from a poor old man who was carrying a 14 inch telivision he had hardly any money to reach the destination, which law in india says that a man cant carry a 14 inch telivision according to my power i could arrest the tte at the same movement for misusing his profession instead i gave the old man some money, irequest you to have a check on the activicties happening in the howra and other stations it is a really ashamable matter for indians

i just want to know when u will try to davelop my bundelkhand MP.when u will start train over there, there is no rail yet in 2008.
we payign tax, we have right to have services.
or stop saying that we will start train in BUNDELKHAND.just handover your department to any private company so that we can atlest start feel that "we paying tax for our place".

i paying tax to davelop MUMBAI, DELHI ...
BUT what about places like bundelkhand.

just think about those condition -when people traveling by BUS even in case of pragnant women. we can spand money but where in rode where waterhole's are more then the population of india..or world.

just start think like davelopment of india not ONLY MH OR ANY OTHER STATE WHERE india can earn more and more and more...,

please give us life where we can say "this is my india"

R/Sir/Madam,
I hearbly informe to u sir/Madam my mother is lot of suffered from TC of Malout(Bathinda-Punjab) and TTE of North Zone.
It is the time and date of 15/4/2009 of 5.30am of morning respectfully.when my mother demanded of ticket of Malout to Jind and Jind to Malout up and down also.and TC demanded the Sum of Rs. 114/-. and My mother Paid the All of them on the spot.TC give the ticket with no. J 455 / 3754 and
J 455 / 3755 Respectfully.
And after when my mother come backed from jind from Intercity Express(New Delhi to Sheri Gangangar) the Train was checked by few person and they checked ok.
And then Again checking from flying staff. one of them is checking the tickct of my mother and abousing her. Is It manner to behave the Women ...?
he found my mother ticket is 10 Rs. less from actual fare. tell me sir/Madam here my fault is occured or not . it is fault of TC of Malout and suffered my mother from it.
My mother asked them inspecting officer it is not my fault it is fault of TC of Malout but he was not hear about anything about fare or any logic.
And he asked to my mother to fine the pay of 258/- Rs. on the spot otherwise he struck off from the train. my mother requested to again and again but he was not aggree and collect from Rs. of 260/- from my mother.

Dear Sir/Madam,

Train had been cancel on dated 28 April 2010 for New Delhi (NDLS) to Ranchi (RNC) by railway (PNR No.: [protected]). within, maximum three days, I should have got cancel train ticket refundable amount. I'm follow-up to IRCTC customer care via phone and mail. But I didn't get cancel train ticket refundable amount still now.
