[Resolved] Videocon / d2h — Don't buy Videocon d2h dish tv , Worst customer service ever

We have bought Videocon d2h dish tv 2 months before.But after 1 and 1/2 months it was not working properly.One day suddenly it stopped working permanently.

We have lodged a complaint in customer service and they said me that the problem is going to be resolved in 48 hours.But today is the 7th day but every time that i am calling regularly to them.Whenever i am lodging a complaint , alternate day a person calling to my cell and says that i am coming to resolve your problem at evening or night or morning , but they don't come and we perish.

After 7 long days now they are saying that we don't have remote available with us and it will take more time.When i want to know when the remote will come , they just cut my no.

I think we all have TV with us and we all know how to operate it without a remote.
Just i want to ask , is it the proper way of handling your customers.
I literally says u that please don't buy videocon d2h dish tv.

I bought videocon d2h settop box 1011 in August 2010. Let me tell you, it is the worst piece of hardware and software i have ever seen. Menu is very slow. It hangs too much and suddenly stops responding, then there will be no video or it shows error message asking to restart. To restart, switching off settop box by remote does not solve the problem; I have to get up and physically switch off main power supply to settop box. Then, after restart, it will run okay for sometime and again same hanging problem and error asking to restart. I am a bit of a tech myself, so last week, i did a reset of settop box under its installation menu, now it is working fine without asking to restart frequently, but old prob of slow menu still persists. In summary, videocon d2h gives good channel package for cost, but worst hardware and software. Buy it if you are technical person and can fix minor technical errors yourself.
