Hi Dear Sir/Mam,

I have taken a videocon mobile from Planet M shop from where i won a D2H (Team Khalige Duniya Jitegi Offer).
I Called Videocon Customer Care and given the information ,then they send me a executive who installed the D2h at my place. They told me that i will be getting 2 month's subscription (Diamond Pack) with this offer as i have paid Rs.1000, but i get only one month subscription.
Then i called up customer care , they(gaurav) register my complain and given me complain no. 13785589, after 2 days i got a message that my complain has resolved. But still my services are barred. Again i called Customer care some (Vandana) picked up my call , i told her all the details she told me that she is escalating the issue but the call dropped. Again i called Customer care some (rajani) picked up the call, she told me to contact the dealer(but how can i contact to any dealer because i haven't taken this product from any dealer , i have taken mobile , i called up customer care and from their executive come to me and taken rs.1000 and installed the product). Again she told me to recharge but why should i recharge if i have to get 2 month's subscription, and at last she dropped the call very rudely.
I am really fed up with Videocon Services within a month 2 times set top box stop working and after this subscription expires ,and i am not getting any resolution on customer care too.

    I T.S PATIL, purchased the Videocon DTH on 14 Jan 2010 at Pune location Sanghvi, Customer Id 3391229 Since 02 Jun 2010, the services of the DTH is poor, the same was complaint to the Videocon call center Ph. No. [protected]

    Some of the complaint nos are listed -

    On 05/06/2010 raised complaint Complaint No. 13751235 , they have raised work order W.O No. 1386875 and stated that service engineer will visit on 06/01/2010 at 11 AM to 12:30 PM, the same was not turned up, later called the call center on 06/06/2010, stated that they will visit on 07/06/2010 at about 11AM, again was not turned up so complaint was raised again on 07/06/2010 complaint no. 13817592, on the complaint they stated that Engineer will be vising on 08/06/2010 at 01:15 PM.

    For the same I have been at home due to the engineer visit, hence at home and the visit was not solved, Which has been financial loss of 1500 per day which result for about Rs 4500 for the three days Sunday 06/06/2010 to Tuesday 08/06/2010.

    The complaint is not resolved yet hence requesting the Consumer Court to recover the financial loss on me due to non visiting of engineer in time and loss of time.

    The complaint is not resolved yet hence requesting the Consumer Court to recover the financial loss on me due to non visiting of engineer in time and loss of time

      Dear sir
      I had purchased videocon d2h on 28/12/2009. My customer ID is 2891996. And registration number is [protected]. Sir from last 5 days my d2h is not working, it is showing problem in signal reception kindly check the box or Antenna. Sir I had contacted the customer care they are saying that we will provide the technical support after 10 day.I had requested them several times to repair my d2h in 2 or 3 days,but my problem is not yet resolved. Kindly do the needful as soon as possible.

      Videon is the biggest chitter in India. Once the product is sold out, they have nothing to do with custome.
      Believe me this is the fact. Even call centre people will keep you on hold for 20-20 mins and finally you will drop the call.

        received a sms from TM-D2H that my mobile no. has been selected in lucky draw and I have won a Videocon DTH. I was told to regiester my address and mobile no. at http://www.d2hvideocon.com to get the gift. After registering I again received a sms to log in the site for getting the gift. There they have told me to deposit Customer Service Tax of Rs.440 in the account of Mr.Jayanta Kumar Choudhury Aur Account Number [protected] of State Bank of India, whom they have introduced as D2H VIDEOCON Senior Executive From Mumbai Branch office. I am sure this person is a fraud and is trying to make money by misusing the name of Videocon. Following is the copy of the instruction in the website:

          Dear All

          At the onset I apologize for writing such a long mail.

          This mail is written in quite a helpless condition. I have been chasing after so called “Customer Care” people for last 4 days – but in vain. On Sunday there was a shower in our place. The shower was welcomed in terms of reducing the intense hot climate but it had a flip side- the “well trained” Videocon engineers have fitted the D2H antenna in such a way that after the first shower it stopped receiving signals. The same was reported to Customer Care Mr. Harikrishna (claimed to be at supervisory level) on Monday 31 May. He assured me that an engineer will come to fix it next day 10:00 AM in the morning. Nobody showed up. Next day I had a talk with Mr. Avinash (claimed to be at supervisory level) on Tuesday 1 June. Again the same assurance with same time appointment – as expected nobody turned up. Twice I have been fooled – ideally I should not have called back to “Customer Care”. But as understood by “Customer Care” in Videocon – customers are dump fool people – so I called up again. This time I had a talk with Mr. Mathew (claimed to be senior supervisor). He again took an appointment at 10:00 AM next day and here there is no prize for guessing – nobody turned up. At the end of day, a person named Mr. Ajay Chaoudhary[protected] called up and ended up asking for Rs 200 to fix the issue. I understand from the buying agreement that one year service is free of cost and also even if Videocon charges money it should have been ideally deducted from my account rather than the service engineer asking for cash. Well this is not new – its same old tactic of exploiting end users. This is not the first time I am reporting such a case of asking financial favor. In my previous mail a similar incident has been report – but I guess I am wasting time to report these kind of issues- but what to do- as correctly understood by “Customer Care” in Videocon – customers are dump fool people.

          My query: Will my issue get resolved? Do I need to pay Videocon engineers visiting my place Rs 200 as a kickback deal? Do I need to escalate this issue to consumer forum? Please advice.

              I purchased your product on 27 Jan 2010, I got 4 months subscription free on that time. After completing 4 months( 27 May 2010 ), I take recharge Voucher & try to get it recharge. But unfortunately due to your technical error I can't recharge my account. I contacts your customer care nos., they tell me that your problem will be solve till 31 st May 2010. I call them many times. After 3 days grace period i.e. 30 may 2010 , my account is suspended. Till today I can't see any programmes on TV. Each day Your customer care executives promises me that your account will be started tomorrow. Due to this I am very very very very unsatisfied on your services.

              Videocon — Plan is not activated

              Hi Sir,

              Twenty days ago, i had done recharge of 65 rupees in which 45 rupees is credited to account and call rates set to 30 paise/min but the benefits was not provided to me. I had requested several time to customer care for changing my plan but they misbehaved with me and putted my call on hold for 30 min every time. Further now i have done recharge of 65 again on 28th feb and still i haven't get the benefits and the call rates as per the plan.

                    I recently moved into a new house and decided to discard my TataSky connection. As it is TataSky has systematically stripped off the channels that came with the initial subscription. Like Sports became optional one day, Radio channels were taken off the air, BBC became part of LifeStyle package. What started off as Rs 300/- per month quickly became... See More Rs 550/- per month and they had started with the promise of giving better value for your money as compared to the Cable Wala. No wonder they were getting a better value of my money. Completely disgusted, I did some research and moved to Videocon D2H @ Rs 275/- per month for their Diamond pack, I got what I wanted.

                    Now, the STB that I purchased came with 3 Months Free Subscription to Diamond Pack or 4 Months of Gold Pack. I opted for the former but by some error on part of the dealer, the Gold Pack got activated. Also, Videocon charged me Rs 240/- for extra antenna cable used during installation. With this my free period would have got reduced to 2 months. But to my horror, I suddenly found that the Free Period had got reduced to a month because some joker in Videocon had deducted another 300/- for switching from Gold Pack to Diamond Pack.

                    Many phone calls to the call center provide futile and despite threats of my returning the connection, Videocon blocked my TV signals.

                    What kind of company is this? It issues full page advertisements to get customers and then is not really bothered about the customers that have already joined in.

Its handle lost its colour, body had thin polyster film left before assembling at the plant collected grime and dust imparting very dirty looks. In summer of 2009, it stopped cooling and required gas in the compressor. This year though it is working it is giving a lot of noise, foul wire burning odour and bright sparks posing a fire and accident hazard whereas Videocon Customer Care and its authorised service centre are sitting tight over my complaint paying no heed to my anxiety and problem though it is 3 days old complaint pending still. Nobody responded to my 10 sms, 5 e-mails, and several phone calls in this regard.

                          In nutshell, I will say I wish to get rid of this fridge once it starts working again par replacement/exchange for some reputed brand though from this forum I notice that almost all brands/companies are in the same category hand in glove with their distributors, retail outlets, and service centres.

                            I Recently bought a Videocon D2H Dish box customer id no 10022466 for my house and it has not been a week and since today morning its showing software upgrading on the Set top Box and nothing is happening my complain ref no 13277729 and work order id no 1219441.
                            I have given the complain to one Mr.Saurav Ayagiri on the helpline and he is very Rude and bad in responding to my call.

                              This is Meghna taken Videocon connection on the name of Mr Suresh Chavan, (For Connection Payment made on 4th July Sunday).Yesterday I lodge a complaint againt the dealer Kaushik Enterprice & Customer Care Executive (Videocon) for giving wrong commitment for the installtion will be done with in 48hrs, Finally today they turned up for the installation for the same.

                                We would like to share with you the problem we are facing with Videocon Airconditioner.
                                We have purchased one 1.5 Ton Split AC in June 2007 and got a warrantee 5+1 Years and since then we are facing problems with the outdoor unit which was being informed to all concerns at Videocon as well as the dealer

                                Case Study
                                1. With in 7 Days of Purchase loud noise started coming out of outdoor unit in span of every 30 mins which continues for 5-10 mins, the same was informed to dealer & customer care. However after repeated followups some representatives came to give Demo but ignored the problem saying that every thing is Ok and there will be No Noise ever.

                                This noise continued for 2 Years and in mean while several complaints have been made but all in vein.

                                2. Compressor Failure - Till now our compressor has been replaced for 3 times i.e, once every year and each time we have to pay for the GAS refiiling charges which is required at the time of replacing compressor . Why should we pay for the gas charges when compressor is damaged which is under warantee and does 5 years warantee means that their product will stop working very frequently and customers keep on chasing service dept and then wait for repairs which takes 15-20 days each time.

                                Since the day of purchase our AC has not worked even a single month without giving any mental harrasments.

                                This year the scene worsened more. The compressor as usual again was not working and so we finally requested the company people to replace this AC, but they refused saying that let us replace it the last time after which if it troubles, they would replace the AC. We agreed, but all in vain. The AC didnt work well and so the service centre people took away the indoor unit too. They kept it for around 10 days and returned it with no good results. The swing stopped working which was earllier working fine, the flaps dont close the opening after switching off the AC which too was working fine earlier, the three bolts were misplaced by those people and above all AC gets automatically switched off after 15-20 minutes; a real torture. The sun is burning at its highest in the sky and we are sweating nicely enjoying the summers, all because of Videocon people, a company so renowned in the market.

                                We have taken up the matter with Videocon but no one listens except one gentleman we found in April 2010 who supported by atleast listening our problem and taking the machin for repair. However he seems to be not having support from management due to which he is yet unable to sort out the problem and this season also our Videocon AC which is installed in our Drawing Room is not working and spoiling our image as well as giving mental harrasments.

                                  I had purchased DG Atlantic, 6.0 KG fully automatic videocon washing machine before 6 months. I had made the complaint in this regard vide complaint No: [protected]. The service person had come and inspected the machine. He advised to replace the Gear Box and Base Plate., and promised to trune back within a week. But after lapse after approx 10 days there was no coomunication from the customer care centre. I made many reminders call to them but it was waste., till today there was no reply from them. The machine is in the warranty period. Kindly advise me accordingly otherwise I have no option to approach the consumer court for this. I decided not to buy any product from the Videocon in the future. Waiting for your immediate action or reply.

                                    Have done a online recharge via ICICI net banking. The amount got debited from my acount. But the recharge did not happen. The screen shot is attached for your reference. Find the details below:

                                    I m shocked to inform you that D2H dealers do not have VIDEOCON recharge vouchers with them. The dealers you have do not have the good customer rapport communication nor they say that VIDEOCON does not send the recharge to deals no time so they don’t have it .


                                    I have few Videocon products in my house believing on ur good service I got the D2H .. but very bad to say that the D2H service is very poor and the customer care Executive named VINOD is not worried on his job that he is there to serve the customer and he is not at all helpful. The worst Customer Care Executive I have ever spoke.

                                      The above AC has already been repaired 4 times under warranty since the day of purchase. Earlier repairs done was gas recharge, compressor problem&defective coils.



                                      Now once again gas was leaked and the mechanic says that there are multiple leakages and under this situation no one can guarantee this repair work. Your service centre has the same opinion.



                                      In the above situation, we are unable to decide on how to get the AC repaired and keep it running. Last time the coils were replaced some time in the end of 2007 and we are wondering if your coils have life of only 1.1/2 years as the original coils only lasted for 1.1/2 years and thereafter, replacement coils have also developed leakages after around the same time. May be as these are low cost air-conditioners and you are using inferior quality components ?



                                      Kindly let us know how we can get these problems repaired along with also an ‘AMC’.
