Vodafone — Wrong billing for CUG

Dear Sir,

I am using Vodafone mobile service for last 4 years. Last month I have purchased a add on connection. Inter-calling between both numbers should be free of cost(vodafone representative confirmed me about this). but due to vodafone representative's mistake(he did not asked me necessary documents) inter-calls are charged.

That's why I am raising this concern.

Vodafone — Deducting Money for Caller Tune Service

Vodafone has set a Caller Tune on my phone without informing me whatsoever and has deducted Rs 30 from my main balance. This is the second time in six months that something like this has happened.I tried to call the customer care executive for assistance but i could not make a call because i had negative balance. Also i could not send the text to cancel vodafone caller tunes because my balance was brought down to negative.I have not called vodafone services in order to activate caller tune service at anytime. They have done it on their own.I was biased towards Vodafone over other service providers and use their 3G connection but i feel its high time that i take advantage of the number portability service and switch to another service provider.

Vodafone — low Speed of Internet and Deduction of money

Hi my name is Premchand,
i am using Vodafone Edge K3570-Z.I was given complaint about low internet speed in before last week but it wasn't solved till now' My PC showing the error message of DSN server is not responding and one more thing that Vodafone deducted money for caller tunes and love messages but i didn't requested for any services(caller tunes and messages).I am not able to access the minimum speed in my PC.Actually i was a customer of IDEA previously that IDEA is much better than Vodafone's Internet.I have full signal of Vodafone.

My number is [protected],

Thank you.
i need all incoming, outgoing and missied calls statement of +91 [protected] from Nov 2008-May 2009. pls send it [protected]@gmail.com
Very true. They are the biggest cheaters around
The worst gprs for ever, aircel is cheating customers, they say that they provide unlimited gprs for just 14 rs, for 3 days,
the genuine fact to say is that we cant do anything with airecl gprs speed, which is about 10kbps for DL...and that is the maximum speed which goes...and that too torrents goes in speed of 2kbps ...the max...

so dont buy aircel GPRS>...guys!
Well Sir, you made a wrong choice while choosing a Wireless Internet provider, for following reasons:
1. Do not Buy a USB Stick for wireless internet from a GSM provider.
Why, because till the time a GSM operator makes its 3G network available in your region, He CANNOT provide a GOOD NET speed.
He will give you a USB stick that will give you GPRS/EDGE network kind of speed only and that is dismal, believe me.
2. Because a GSM operator will have large number of customers using Voice and Wireless Internet connection apart from you. You will have to share the same link with other in and around your house. So speed will deteriorate further.

Q: So buying a Internet USB stick from a GSM operator is bad decision?
A: Yes, for time being. Wait till they launch their 3G n/w in you region. If you buy from them get ready for a dead slow network, that is not even good for watching You tube video, forget it.

Q: What is solution if you want mobile Internet.
A: Choose wisely, Go with a CDMA operator like Tata, Reliance and MTS.
Again check who is selling less number of cards (new entrant in your city) but has good signal coverage (ask users using Tata Indicom or Reliance CDMA or MTS CDMA phones).
If MTS is new in your city and has good signal in your area go for them.

Last thing CDMA is superior to GSM, more secure and more clear voice. Yes CDMA gives you speed of 1.2 Mbps download and 400 Kbps upload when they promise 3.1 Mbps of download, PRETTY GOOD for mobile Internet ... You can enjoy all you YouTube videos in Streaming :)

Vodafone — Complaint on False promises made for migrating my number from prepaid to postpaid

Dear Sir/Madam,
I am the customer of Vodafone for more than 24 months. ([protected])
Last month 17/18 I got a call from Vodafone customer care to change my Pre paid plan to Post paid plan. And thereby the below points were put forward by the Vodafone customer care executive for a pack value of 299/month
1. 450 free calls to any mobile (Inside Tamil Nadu)
2. 100 free calls to Vodafone locals(This is applicable only when the point 1 is completed)
3. 99999 local/National SMS free
4. 0.50/ call for STDs
5. 0.99/ call for Landline (Inside Tamil Nadu)
6. When free calls are completed all calls are completed
I. All Vodafone locals calls 30 p/ call
II. All other Mobiles 49p/ call

The executive convinced me promising that migration to post paid will reduce by STD charges, since I make more STD calls.
Thereby the Executive also assured that the balance amount in the prepaid account would be deducted in the first month bill.
I accepted for the above particulars for 299/month pack and also got a call within 2-3 working days from the Vodafone customer care towards confirming my migration to post paid.
I too confirmed my migration only for the above mentioned particulars.
On 9th June 2011, I contacted Vodafone Customer care to verify my bill due. During the call I was brought to notice that my actual plan contradicts with the plan I opted and I was promised. The executive asked my confirmation for 299 pack and has activated 249 pack.
For this mistake done by the executive, I got to pay more for the below mentioned
1. 1.50/call for STD
2. 1.50/National SMS
So, on the same call I made on On 9th June 2011, I elaborated the promise made by the previous executive and lodged a complaint.
The current executive also accepted that the previous executive had done a blunder mistake and also asked for his Name, which I couldn’t recall.
She further promised me that messed up things will be brought in line, by billing me on the plan(299/ month) what I initially opted for . She also said that STD calls promised for 299 pack was fake and it will be charged at 1.50/min. I was shocked to hear that STD will be charged at higher price. SO I further lodge d another complaint for promising invalid offer in a particular scheme.
Thereby two below mentioned complaints were lodged on the same day.
1. Fake promise for STD 50 paise for 249 pack -[protected]
2. Activating 249 plan without customer’s permission - [protected]

I received a confirmation through SMS that the above complaints were lodged and will be getting a acknowledgement by Monday 13th June 2011.
Although the Vodafone India’s Manual Practice for Customer Complaints states that every complaint will be addressed within three working days. I did not receive any acknowledgement for ONE week.
Please refer the link(promise to address within three working days): http://www.vodafone.in/documents/pdfs/hnsmanual.pdf
Again I called Vodafone Customer Care on 16Th May June 2011, The respective executive conveyed me that the complaint is under process. She shocked me again by saying that My STD calls will be charged only at 1.50/Min.
When, I questioned about the continuous promise breaking of Vodafone customer care executives. I redirected to Mail to Vodafone customer with a detailed picture. This is the worst Experience I ever had with any private networks.
Thank you for your Patience to read this. I believe Vodafone would provide a valuable solution to my problems and also be responsible in keeping up promises or giving true promises.

Regards,
Sathiyendran

Vodafone — Against refund of unusual deduction

Sir,
Myself Veerendra kumar A K, my mobile no. [protected]. On 13th june evening, the service provider has deducted Rs. 30/- saying that a had sent MMS message as i sent text massages. In this connection i lodged a complaint through customer care on 14th june morning, for that they replied we will process and refund this amount within 24 hours, but no action took even after more than 36hours, then i again call to customer service, they said we will refund you within 4 hours but they didn't refund. Now after 3 days i called them back now they are disconnecting the call by sayingthat we cannot refund your amount.
My problem is, i sent more than 100 messages on that evening as a group message, in each group there are 20 contacts, then how it is possible only 10 messages sent as MMS remaining 10 as text message?
how can they deduct Rs. 30 from me? and i lost another Rs. 2 by calling to customer executive.
please give me justice..
hoping for the favorable response at the earliest.
