It's ridiculous...even after talking to the customer service representatives (mind you -- 4 of them, including a supervisor -- I wonder if names should be revealed?) it's no use.
I used my hoe Wi-Fi connection and not Vodafone's. However, money was deducted for using my personal Wi-Fi service. When I called in, I was told that money is deducted but my internet services were shown to be deactivated. Then how was money deducted and who keeps track of these things if the company doesn;t?How does a company just deduct money without a customer knowing and without reason?

Vodafone — services barred
Dear SirI took a new prepaid connection of vodafone on 8th june 2011 from a dealer in my locality. I have submitted the documents(rented house agreement along with police verification and pan card) few day later i got a sms that my services are going to be barred. On 13th june 2011, i visited vodafone care and asked the reason for barring my services. They told that my application got rejected due to address mismatch, so again i re-submitted the fresh documents(indian bank passbook and pan card)then they activated my services. I gave my new address to them along with the address updation form. Again after 1 week my services were barred date 22nd of june 2011 without prior informing.I spoke to customer service,they told me visit to vodafone care. I did that as per their instruction. They told my new address is not updated in their records. I was completely shocked despite of submitting the required documents. Again i submitted my documents to store manager name KAMINI.She gave me 100% assurence that my services wont get barred further. She activated my services.Rather than helping the customer, she told me to change the number or speak to the dealer where i purchased the sim card. On 26th june 2011, i received a call from customer care name RUKHSAR QURESHI, she told me that my new address got updated and my services wont get barred near future.Actually i have no problem with the services of vodafone but concerned is why are they not updating my address.Vodafone number--[protected]
Again on 1-7-2011 my services are barred....what this happening?
Why are they not updating my address??/I am helpless, i dont have any alternate solutions...Please help me...i appreciate your services.

Vodafone, USB Stick — Harrasing by Vodafone service provider
Dear Sir/ Madam,I am Pranab Sarkar, i bought a USB DEVICE from VODAFONE store at Connaught Place as on 14th July for amounted of Rs.23,00/

When i go for buy it Storekeeper(SHARIB) and other sales guys told me THIS WILL GET ACTVATE AFTER 72 HRS after verification and other formalities will do by vodafone co.,but certainly no verification has been done, after 72 hrs it was not working then i went to same vodafone store with all document and device.....i waited that day fro 3 hrs in their store after 3 hrs they told me they need to send it for replicement of that device and it will take maximum of 14 days.(JOB CARD IS ATTACHED) I have no option rather then wait. After 14 days i again went their store on 1st July then they told me it is still not come after replace, i need to wait till 6 th of july, and they are not making any comitment only saying come on 6th and confirm is that come or not. i ASKED THAM WHERE IS IT THSY ARE SAYING WE SEND TO SOMEWHERE TO CHAGE
I PAID THEM 2300 RS FOR A USB STICK AND THIS WAS NOT WORK FOR A SINGLE MOMENT AND THEY NEED TO CHANGE IT FROM THIER HEAD OFFICE FOR THAT PURPOASE IT CROSSE AROND 16TH DAYS.
I SEND A SEVERAL MAIL TO THEIR NODAL HEADS, AND OTHET HEADS INCLUDING COUSTOMER CARE BUT NOBODY WANTS TO SAY ANYTHING.
I AM HARRASING A LOT AND I AM FEELING THEY ARE USED TO DO HARRASED COUSTOMER BY THIS WAY ONLY.
PLEASE HELP ME OUT....THIS IS MY HARD EARNING MONEY......PLEASE HELP ME

Totally agree.. these guys bill u for no reason. I had purpousely turned off my GPRS settings for three days, yet i was billed in excess of hundred rupees. I have nade only local calls during that time. When i call them, they said they can tell me only after the bill is generated. I mean what the heck, u take my money and tell me why u took it.
. I got a feeling i was being unreasonably billed for my GPRS. I have used 400mB and the bill is already 2600. I switched off my GPRS for a week and i have been billed about 500 rupees. I have made calls worth 80 rupees. When i call them they say they dont have the authoority to tell me where my money has gone and can tell only when the bill is generated and they have squeezed another 2000 for no reason. .I mean what the heck, u bill me and then tell me u cant tell me why u did?? If anyone from vodafone is reading this, my number is [protected] and i am contemplating going to the press and starting an online campaign against u guys along with a criminal complaint which i will be lodging very soon.. come and face the music
Vodafone — deduction of RS 30/- for unrequited caller tune
vodafone providers have forcefully deducted RS30/- from my current mobile account balance (ph no. [protected]) regarding the activation of callertune.but the main fact lies in the charm that i have not requisted them to activate the corresponding callertune or any callertune.
Moreover, when they activated my callertune forcefully without any reason of requist , i have deactivated the callertune by performing the immediate action within minute thinking in mind that my balance would not deduce without any reason , but unfortunately the providers have already charged RS 30/-.
In my opinion , it is not at all right and fair for an innocent mobile user and want an affective action of refunding the full charge of the callertune i.e. RS30-/.

Vodafone — Putting down the complaint
Respected sir,I regret to bring to your notice that I shyaml Roy ,residing at sarak Prara ,P.O-Ranaghat,Dist-Nadia,Pin-741201,W.B ,my Vodafone mob. No is [protected]
. I was recharge Rs 18/- for 3 days Internet connection, after that when I opened the web page- www.hippo.com and free download Mozila Firefox (13 MB), cut my Internet connection & reach my mob balance Rs -96/- . I had in Vodafone A/C Rs 40/-with Rs 18/- for 3 days Internet connection , which I previously mentioned.
Putting down the complaint to your department in black & white, dated-01/07/2011, response was come to my mob from your dept & said that they send it for consult of my matter.
But sorry to say you that it is still a moot point. If situation is continuing like this without any conclude decision, I compel to null & void your connection.
So request you please make up for the lost time & refund my Vodafone balance.
I hope that you would take necessary steps to solve this problem as early as possible.
