Vodafone — Vodafone misguidance OR lack of their own product knowledge
Recently i had travelled to Europe. I had called Vodafone customer care more than 8 times in 10 days and visited thier Nirman Vihar, Delhi centre which of 20 mintues drive more than 7 times. I only had one question, "Sir/Madam, where can i get your HOME CALLING CARD? I will be travelling to UK and Dubai in coming week." Very specific question. Each time only one answer i got "Sir, you can get this on International airport. We have a counter." I said "OK, thank you. But please tell me if there is any store in Delhi where i can get it, i am willing to go and pick. I don't want to take any chances to collect from airport." I was told "It is not available in store but only at airport."When i went on airport on 23rd May evening, GUESS what???? No vodafone store. I got SHOCKED. I called customer care and at that time i was told that it is at DOMESTIC AIRPORT. I asked them only one question "WHAT DOES HOME CALLING CARD MEANS? As per my knowledge, if someone is travelling outside their home country, he/she can use this home calling card to call back home at very low prices compared to regular call charges from cell." They said yes. I told them please tell me the name of International flight which departs from domestic airport. They had no answer for that. I was stuck and nothing can be done.
Eventually i had to make calls from my regular cell and my bill was of Rs. 12000/- approx. Now that i filled complaint with vodafone, they are not admitting their mistake. My phone is barred from last 15 days. They are not willing to give anything in writing as their legal department is not permitting them. I had talked to appellate authority also but just going in circles.
Because of Vodafones own lack of knowledge about their own product availability, i had suffered and incurred these charges. Call from home calling card was about Rs. 8/minutes. Normal call was about Rs. 100/minutes...depends on the city where you calling from. There has to be some place where such problems against these bigh companies should be filled. Honestly, had it been any other country besides India, things would have been resolved by now.
Any advise or comments?

hi, this is bimal nagda having two connection of vodafone residing at K-202 vandematram society, New S G Road, Gota Rly Crossing, Chandlodia, Ahmedabad 382481, u can check from ur records too. My complaint is there is very very poor network of vodafone at my above address. so many disconnection in single call. and therefore, ur company is having advantage of it. u r requested to make ur network healthy as ur company name famous for. take it seriuously. otherwise u will loose ur trust from the customers as HUTCH proved. I called up this number he said to me the details as soon as possibile, the very next day i tried this number and the mail also both are engaged i send lot of message, then i complained the consumercomplaints, now igot a mail from consumer complant that to pay 21000 to release the prize please let me know weither i want to pay this money or not

Vodafone — failing to collect cheques from box
sir, i am using the vodafone services for last many years and i have not failed in making any payments to them on due date.I am also granted credit of rs.4000/- from the company but i have never used.That shows my creditability.But still this company employees harrase me for what i don't understand.My problem is the collection boxes which are placed at various places like, railway stn, buses and Shop (sky box) which are for many companies collection point.last year i drop the cheque in the bus from khar dandpada to khar stn & from khar linking rd to malvani stn bus .Both the time company called me and said not received cheque. Sir, i am a professional and my work is depended on my phone.So i rushed to make urgent cash payment.Next bill when i recd it was showing the cheque and cash both payment received.I would like to bring to your kind attention that the expenses i incurred for Rs.100/- for auto to paybills.i forgot the incident .Second time also after few months it happend i was told cheque is not received inspite of my giving entire details about the payments and bought to there notice that before also such thing had happened they told me on that case you stop the cheque from your a/c. I did but the bank charged me Rs.100/- for stop pymt and Conveyance Rs.100/-again and Rs.100/-late payments not on due date, my working time loss i can not calculate.To my surprise the same cheque was presented in the bank and bank charged me Rs.50/- for returning the same cheque.This time i voiced the against the co as amount of expenses and harrasement being done inspite of my regular payments. what it mademe to feel that they think this way they can extract money from us extraI am very sure sir there many like me who are dropping the cheque in the box due to there lack of time and must be paying for that .The comapny is looting I give example if in a month 5 lacs customer are also fooled the same and chared late payment Rs100/- each how much money company stilling? .after that when i call care no they only say "sorry" but you will have to pay there attitude is very stubborn even to the customer who is regular in payments.So, in that case i took a stand, i reserved rs182/-( for which i had forwarded my bank pass book xerex where the charges are shown but they refused to give credit for the same) and paid the balance amount.They continue with the same for another year.Again last month i droped at shop at jp rd andheri west(from where They are collecting for lat 7 month and the owner also knows i drop the cheque fro electricity, Hathway vodafone )this time they informed the cheque is mutulated i requested them that there is no problem other cheques i issued in the same state are cleared so you present i will take care to see it clears.The asked me some question such as KMB means which bank?they made me to understand the cheque is not with them.The person who has collecting from box has done some mistake but rather then taking reasponsibility to deal with them they always choose customer to harrase and make payment.Almost in a year twice from all customer who are using dropping box facility are fooled and there money in a very smart manner taken.I want to bring to notice.1) who place these box
2) After the drop who is accountable?
3) If it is for cutomer good then it is not helping them.please dicontinue the services.

Vodafone — Wrong Bills
Vodafone is such a sick company...alwz do sm kinda gadbadi in bills and thn not ready to accpet it.
They dint inform me of the new charges and all of sudden they increased my call chrges to 50% and thus the taxes also incread and my total bill amount incread to mre than 50% than usual.
Moreover their CCs are never thr to assist u and infact they hang ur phone when u start explaining thm d list of problems...
Vodafone is just a sick company and i suggest everyone to stay away from it.
