[Resolved]  Whirlpool Refrigerator — whirlpool forcefully sells faulty product

I bought brand new whirlpool refrigerator (MasterMind 260 Litre elite model) from Dass Electric Trading co.(P) Ltd, wanowrie branch pune on dated 9 March 2008 .
From the day one of delivery, I am getting ELECTRIC SHOCK from the body of lower door of this refrigerator and I complained to DASS as well as whirlpool customer care support with Complaint No: 4825.
After a day whirlpool engineer(Mansoorkar-:[protected]) visited to my place and he himself observed the electric shock and concluded with the fact that it is manufacturing defects you should replace your refrigerator.
After that i approached to DASS with this problem and had spoken to its Manager named Bhuvnesh([protected],[protected]/24) and he sent his senior engineer/manager named Riyaz[protected]/36/37) to investigate this problem but again he even could not find out any solution to this problem and so relentlessly replied with shrewdness that this is normal and low voltage electric shock that is not hazardous so bear with this but DASS AND WHIRLPOOL WILL NOT REPLACE THIS REFRIGERATOR.
Finally I again requested to DASS Manager, Bhuvnesh, as well Whirlpool service centre senior engineer name Anil Patil([protected]) to replace this defective piece of refrigerator but they abused me and even threatened me for consequences.

I am continuously calling to whirlpool call center and there some senior lady named Shifaa already aware about all this but she said she can't do anything.

Basically they all know very well this is defective piece and sold this out to customer anyhow, which they did and now they are trying to mesmerize me .

I request whirlpool senior executives to come upfront and provide me justice.

I already sent my grievance to whirlpool: [protected]@whirlpool.com l.
I would not be satisfied until and unless they don’t give me replacements and if this not done within a week I will copy and file my grievances to CONSUMER COURT as well as telecast this to CNBC Awaaz channel but i wont let them to escape up to my last RIGHTS.

Whirlpool Refrigerator — No After Sales Service

Good day,
Our permanent Whirlpool Customer ID No. 5409213
Our Complaint No. MB[protected] Dated 13/04/09.
We have written to you earlier in November 2008 on similar web site without any answer from you.
We purchased Whirlpool double door Refrigerator which is still under warrantee, but this fridge never worked properly. Whirlpool customer care number always keep saying that they will look into matter.
Our latest complaint is being handled by ‘S. R. Home Care’ in our area (Navi Mumbai). Even after technician's visit for three times fridge is still not repaired and lying dead for weeks. From my observation the technicians hired by Whirlpool who visit us are not competent at all in repairing fridge.
The company should understand that this behaviour will cause damage to their reputation especially in household products.

I would appreciate if someone at Whirlpool can look into the above complaint.

M/s cosmo electricals, dhangu chowk first floor Pathankot(Punjab) on dated 14-april-2009, when i check it i found its Emergency light is not working, then i approach to dealer next day your attender came and found battery was completely dead and has to be replaced, he told he will come next day with new bettary to replace old one .but till date (24-apr.-09) no one came to attend the problem .

three time ihave contact to dealer but all was vain .

hereby you are requested to take some urgent action to sortout my problem .

whirlpool professional 350 elite refrigerator — Faulty refrigerator - nobody attends the complaint

I bought a new whirlpool professional 350 elite refrigerator from Dawar Open world just 2 months back. There is a fault in its cooling regulation display. I had lodged a complaint 15 days back and chased it many times. No body attended it . Its a big harassement for a consumer

Whirlpool — Faulty new Fridge,Delay in replacement

I am writing this after having utter frustation with Whirpool product and customer service.I had purchased a new refrigirator from one the known dealer (capital electronics, Kolkata) with full cash payment.Thanks to the wonderful product they delivered, it stopped working the very next day.Tech engineer diagnosed it as Gas leakage issue and either needs to be refilled or replaced. We asked for the replacement as it was just one day before we bought it. They promsed to deliver it to home in 10 days .To our surprise, today is the the 20th day and we are still waiting for it. we have called up the dealer and warhouse and evrytime they say it going to deliver tomorrow. This too much!!!..at 40 'C we are not evrn able to sip a drop to cold water and that also after paying full in cash. This is the height of frustation.
Can anyone advie how i can escalate this to higher management because it don't see any good happening in near future.

I bought brand new whirlpool refrigerator (Master Mind 260 ltr Fusion model) from Nutan Electronics, Dilshad Garden, Delhi - 93, on dated 10 April 2009 .

When I check it and found its Emergency light (e-Light on front Panel) is not working, then I logged a call in Whirlpool Customer Care, complaint no : DL[protected] on 24th April' 2009 (Friday) but Whirlpool Engineer (Mr. Ashu) came on Sunday and found battery was completely dead and has to be replaced, he told me, I will come next day for change the battery, but till date (18-May-09) no response from Whirlpool Customer Care. and no one attend this call.

I have make a many calls to Whirlpool Customer Care but the executives told me, your call attended will be shortly as soon as possible, but no one attend this call.

Hereby you are requested to take some urgent action to short out my problem .

i purchased WIRL POOLrefrigerator model ROYAL GENIOUS on dt.01/05/009, from M/S DAS ELECTRICALS, PIMPRI, CHICHWAD, PUNE.This refrigerator is not working since 31/04/09.Iraised compliant on dt 01/05/09.one technician came on dt.07/05/09, he checked and found compressor is not working proparly, and said wirlpool company willreplace the same with in a week and he charged RS.250 as a service charges.After that i am regularly contacting customer service in charge MR.SNDEEP(M NO.[protected]) as per their communication compressors are not available with us when it will come company then only we can repalce the same.But due to this we are suffering so much because i have to store milk and medicines for my kid.

Whirlpool refrigerator ICE Magic — company do not repair my refrigerator.

I have purchased 195 liters refrigerator from dealer situated in R.k.Music center (chinchwad, pune-india). After 4 years there was complaint lodged with companies call center. Service person visited and attended the complaint. After that at intervals service person was called for various complaints 4 times. During 6th complaint attended we informed call center to replace as the guarantee period left is very less and the service report also indicated about replacement but there is no response from the complaint. Since yesterday again the fridge is found not working silently and again we will have to call service person for 7th time. I am not at all satisfied with refrigerator bought from whirlpool.

suddenly on 27th of May 2009 onward the refrigerator stopped working accordingly we have raised a complain on 28th of May 2009; complain number-KL[protected], The complain was raised by Mr.Ankur Singh (Customer Care Executive), from that day onward no action is been taken against this problem and even no feedback is been received by us from their end ;we have called several times and every time we have received a miss commitment from their end. Its my earnest request to you to take serious step against this matter.

Whirlpool Refrigerator — dent on one side

I bought a whirlpool Refrigerator 6sense 310 litres on 14th MAy 2009 from B.H Electronics .When refrigerator came I noticed dent on left side .It was 9.00Pm .B.H electronics was closed.Next day when i informed the person Mr. Sharma he told me that engineer would come from the company & inspect & give the report. Mr.Saurabh who is an engineer came to visit & Confirmed that there is dent.Simultaneously
i told them that Charcoal Grey what we ordered .we did not notice that on sides it was black colour.I requested Mr.Saurabh (Engineer)
& Mr.Sharma from B>H Electronics that kindly put the request for colour that we need lighter version they had spoken to Mr.Rajesh in whirlpool & confirmed me that your refrigerator would be replaced till monday, Tuesday.I asked Mr. Saurabh on 18th of may he told me that
you will receive refrigerator on tuesday.I called up 21st may 2009 to customer care .In Customer Care every tme i had to narrate my story .They gave me the complaint noDl-[protected] & Dl-[protected]. Mr.Sanjay Engineer called me on 21st may 2009 & told me that your request cant be met .I bought a refrigerator for 21500/-
not free of cost .I informed Mr. Harinder who is the owner .When he heard about the case he was surprised. He felt sorry for me & said He will speak to the conerned person & get back .He did & called me back
The colour Galaxy white was not available .I requested him to arrange for me .he would do it again .
MY QUESTION IS THAT WHY MR. SAURABH ENGINEER WHO DID NOT GIVE ME THE TELEPHONE NO OF fARIDABAD, cHATTERPUR, gURGAON & TELLING ME THAT HE IS ON LEAVE & DOES NOT HAVE ANY CONTACT NO.THIS IS VERY UNPROFESSIONAL, DISCORTEOUS.
SECONDLY THERE IS NO CO-ORDINTION IN STAFF THEY PUT THE IR GUN ON OTHERS SHOULDERS.

THIRDLY WHY AFTER 7DAYS I WAS TOLD THAT MY REQUEST WAS NOT MET 6DAYS THEY WERE SLEEPING.

I COULD TELL YOU AT LAST THIS IS THE WORST SERVICE I HAVE
EVER RECEIVED .

Whirlpool Refrigerator — not providing service to solve the problem despite of repeated reminder calls

I have a whirlpool double door refrigerator.since last one week it is not working properly. there is no cooling in refrigerator. water is draining out regularly from the vegetable box section.My refrigerator is under warranty period and under service contract period. I complain to whirlpool office under complaint NoHR[protected] on dt.17.06.2009. But no engineer visited till today to solve the problem. The company's service head is not taking it seriouly.During the extreme summer period, my family is facing great problem due to no cooperation of such a reputed internation level company.Due to poor service company is loosing its goodwill & reliablity. Please look into it and get my problem solved.

I purchased a new refrigerator from Whirlpool dealer in 2008, Jan.Model No.FUSION 26. Working good for four months thereafter it developed with lot of problems.service center was informed, their service engineer visit after a week or ten days from the date of complaint, rectify and go.not more than four days it works good.the same effect of no cooling.So far the following accessories are changed
compressor- 4 times
cooling tray -2 times, gas filling-4 times . still the service is going on & still there is no cooling spent around Rs.6000 for the replacement of parts which is half the cost of the price service rendered by the centre is very poor they are not responsive to our call rude & arrogant reply recieved from the service centre.
