Yesterday, I stepped into the Woodland Store on New BEL Road, Bangalore since there was a Sale. I picked up a Ladies Tshirt under the category 'Flat 40% off' (Bill # 3372 dated 13/07/08 Article No.R1LSR 44 ASSR NA LADIES T SHIRT). The MRP for this product printed was Rs.595/- However, when this item was billed, I was asked to pay Rs.400/- When I told the cashier that it should be Rs.357/- (595 minus 40%), he told me that the cost was already reduced before printing the amount on the label and the original price of the item was Rs.668/- and he is charging 40% on this amount. This amount (Rs.668), he picked up from his computer system. When I argued with him that he should have displayed the factory price (original price of Rs.668) and also the Reduced amount of Rs.595/- and then put a banner saying the the flat 40% discount was on the Original price of Rs.668/-. This way the customers will be aware. In this case, there was neither any display on the label nor on the banner to this effect. The factory price, which the shop owner claimed was already reduced was nowhere printed saying that these items were already discounted before it landed into the store. Or, there should be a banner somewhere in the store saying the products have been discounted (mention the % of discount) before it is displayed on the shelf. The shopowner did not have any answer but said this is the Woodland practice. How can a company of your stature have such unethical practices? This is simply outright cheating. Since my daughter liked the tshirt very much, I did not want to disappoint her for a difference of Rs.162/- and ended up paying the amount. But I would like to get a justification from a competent authority of the Aero Club as to why they are taking the customer for a ride with false promises.

Let me ask you, if you were to go to a shop and buy an item with MRP Rs.500 with a discount of 20%, would you pay Rs.400/- or would you pay Rs.480/- if the shop owner says the original price was Rs.600 and 20% on 600 is 480 and, therefore, you are required to pay Rs.480/-. And you are totally unaware of the origal price the shopowner is referring to. Would you still pay Rs.480/-???? Isn't this amounting to cheating? This is the same case with your so claimed reputed store. They are taking the customers for a ride.

i hadbought a woodland t-shirt for 1100 bucks a few dayz ago n wn i washed it it lost all the colour in water n white patches appeared making it look ugly...i juss wanna know wt am i supposed to do...i treid to complain via phone also but i guess the toll free numbers are fake as they are switched off...i need to get replied on this quickly otherwise i will sue the store manager to the consumer court ...

I ORDERED 1 WALLET FROM 15 DAYS BACK BUT TILL DATE NOT RECIVED & I ALREADY PAYMENT BY ONLINE WHY ARE THE LATE & HOW MUCH TIME I RECIVED MY PRODUCT URGENT REPLY

    i purchase the model R1G 4092 ASSR o footwear,
    at the Rs.1945 on 21/06/08
    while my relative purchase the same model from other store before 4 days at Rs. 1770, and their is no problem in his pair of shoes, while in my shoes the colour of one shoes has been changed within three days while the colour of the another shoes changed...
    due to trust on the brand name of woodland...i purchase the shoe with trust..
    but after expenses as much more as compared to other i m not still satisfied...please consider the mail... i complaint to the store but they replied unsatisfied answer...now i want satisfaction so company can replace my shoes or i want refund otherwise i will take an action and sending a copy to consumer forum against the store...kindly reply the mail...thank you...

    This is anuj kaushik from delhi...i just want to add some more in this.I had also got a pair (model RIG 94105 Khaki44) from the same & just two days past my shoes stiches get opened. I went to the store to have a mind that the shoe should be replaced...but the attended give me the reciept by saying this that it'll be sent for repair to factory. On the reciept they had asked for a month to repair three or four stiches.Really strange...i had handover my shoes on 1/2/09 and ask them that when i can owned them. According to them they commited on 11/2/09 today is 14/2/09 ...and still m waiting for their response...

    don't know how can woodland approach for furthure business from the same costumer...

      This is regarding the my recent purchase from woodland store at hazratganj lucknow.

      I have put the sandal for repair on 09/05/08(35days back) at the store which was damage with in a year of purchase and as per the TAT we know from the store it self is about 15 days, till date i.e. 14/06/08 we have not got any resolution of the problem neither we got back our sandal, and when ever we send some body or call to store we also got the answer in negative or they just ready with some new excuses,

      I have bought a pair of shoes from the exclusive showroom of WOODLAND at Crystal Mall, Jaipur2. (Raj)
      This range of woodland (WOODS) which I bought is preety expensive and good. But after twenty days while using the shoes, I found stiching of the shoes is getting off and leather is getting pluffy from particular places in the shoes.

      When i went to the store back, the store keeper advised me to get it repaired instead of replacing the shoes or something else. Where they have marked for three months warranty into their bills.

      I want to ask this compony, if a customer is paying good enough for your product and you have a facility to provide warranty as well. Then why are you not providing good services and following the warranty policy of the compony.

      Woodland shoe — NO RESPONSE FROM THE COMPANY REGARDING MY COMPLAINT

      This is the worst after sale service I have ever seen in my life. This is a clear case of fraud on part of the company & in case company people will not respond to this complaint of mine, I will take the company to consumer court .
      I, in the past had filed two complaints reguarding the manufacturing defect of my woodland shoe i.e. its pasting came off in just 15 days of purchase, on the same forum & no response I have received so far.
      I purchased a foot ware from Woodland, Shop name - Aero Club, 15/7, J.L.Nehru Road, Grand Hotel, Kolkata

      after 10 days i found both soal of my shoes (model no - G 777 Black 39 Footwear)were pluging out / open out (where as i have a warrenty period of 6 months) and i move to them they added some adhesive and back to me.

      now i found the problem again. please suggest me what to do?

      shoe buckles — delay in delivery

      dct no.[protected] of weight 1kg 760gm and dct no.[protected] of weight 4kg 200gm booked from Aligarh to Kanpur has not been deleivered yet and no satisfactory reply is been given by the staff here at Aligarh branch office.Due to this delay my customer had a huge loss and asking me to pay for his loss.

      WOODLAND — breakage of buckle

      I had bought a sandle from woodland store in my city in november last year. the buckle that sandle broke 2-3 times and I have got it replaced everytime. But I stay outside and how many times am I suppose to come back to my city just to get this buckle replaced. I am a student and have to wear it for a full day, how am I suppose to be extra carefull with it. Now I need a full repalcement of my sandle.

      Woodland — Poor Shoe Quality

      I had purchased Woodland shoe from Pune. The right foot shoe stiches came out in barely 11 months. Even after shelling out 2000+ rupees on this WOODLAND brand the quality received was far cheaper. I would never like to go for this brand again. Is there any way by which these compliants be forwarded to Company?
      This is regarding that, my shoe is not been replaced from your store at Sarita vihar, Delhi.

      I have put my shoe (model no # 6017889) for replacement on 20/07/09 at the store which was badly damage. When I asked to your store manager (Sanjeev) why this shoe is not been replaced he is saying that it is accidental case. Is he Decide weather it’s a accidental case or it’s a genuine problem? Ispite o[censored]nderstanding my problem behave so rudely with me. Is this the way the woodland treat with their customer. Sorry but after this experience I do not want to suggest anyone to buy a woodland shoe. I just want replacement of my shoe with a NEW .

      Woodland — regarding sole replacement

      i bought a pair of shoe from woodland's exclusive showroom in East Fort ,Trivandrum,Kerala a year before. hardly i have used it and its soul is completely damaged . i took it to the store and the store manager tells me they can't do anything. it cost me Rs 2,500 and i want it to be repaired but they are not at all ready to take my complain into account.

      I have purchased a pair of shoes from Woodland Shoes franchaisee M/s. Aero Club M.G.Road,Vijayawada, A.P. on 19 july 2009 vide their bill No.1202 for Rs.2, 395.00. The model No. of the item is G 52777 Khaki, size 41. On[protected] the sole of my left leg shoe is remoevd from bootom due to manufactured defictive by getting bubble in the sole.I returned the item to the supplier for replacement and he refused to do so stating that once sold items can only be repaired even if it fails withing few days due to manufacturing defects.

      Paying almost 300% extra price we look forward to the company with quite a lot of expectations regarding customer service. Hope your forum will help innocent customers from treatments like this in future.

      This is regarding the my recent purchase from woodland store at Kamla Nagar, Delhi.

      The quality of my sandal is very poor. When i was wore it on 1st time. I was suffereing from biting with this sandal and both of the buckles were broken.

      I purchased a Woodland shoe (Article No. R1GB 0417107 ) on 24/10/2009 from
      Aero Club (Woodland) Woodland store
      97/2 B Pradeep Arcade.
      ITPL Main Road, Marathahalli

      and within a month I found soal of my shoes was pluging out. I spoke to Customer Care HOD Mr. Rajiv Sharma about the same. He asked me to submit the shoe to store. The manager was not available I showed to his assisant. THE WAY HE SPOKE TO ME WAS VERY HARSH !! (The WOOLAND GREETING TO THE CUSTOMER) But anyhow i told him that how it possible that soal will plug out within a month. I am spending Rs 2395/- including VAT. He replied that we are giving you discount on this. I asked him to give his manager's (ASM : Mr. Uamann) cell number, I tried him calling many times but he never turned back. Again I called to custmer care, now I spoke to Rajiv Sharma's assistant Mr. Sachin. I explained him about the PROBLEM what I am facing. He gave me the same answer to submit the shoe. I have submitted shoe on 03/12/2009 for replacement but still there is no response from anyone. This kind of treatment provokes me to suggest anyone not to buy WOODLAND products. "BRAND IS BIG BUT TREATMENT IS WORST"

      Woodland — Shoes not repaired

      I bought a pair of saindal a month back.The day i wore it with in hour it broke.The strap came out from it place.When i went for repairing to Woodlnad Showroom,first of all they were not interseted in that then thet said they will repair it and will call me when work will be done.BUt then even after one month i myself had to go there and i found that they have simply made it from ordinary cobbler instead of doing it through right way

      Woodland — Bad quality and service of company

      I purchased a pair of woodland sandals (GD 0489108 BROWN 41) on[protected].
      After a few days o[censored]se its buckle was broken.They replaced the product after a delay of one month.But unfortunately the same was repeated with the replaced one within a week.I have again given the product to the woodland outlet for service.Now it has been a month and there is no response from the company till now.

      I would like to introduce my self ranjana soni. I am regular customer woodland and using woodland from last five or six year . In this long period i didn't face any problem with woodland ,but now I faced a problem as below .

      NEW DELHI-110063'' woodland shop. I got a fault on the same .

      There was a cut mark on the strap. When I saw that, I discussed the issue with owner of the shop . He sent my footwear for repairing in woodland . I got reply from that side , its not manufacturing fault and we are not responsible for the same. you can buy another pair . You will loss 30% cost of the @2445 Rs.

      its not the solution of my problem. Why should I loss 30% cost. I am looking for great help from you. I am very great full to you if you will be able to do something for me. Please advice what should I do ?

      my sandals of species 488108 has got one of the straps torn off... in just two months n under normal and minimal usage it has got damaged... they (salesmen) said, woodlands is very much usefull for trecking n so on... but this sandal i bought couldn even support office usage... and im an IT professional...
      I bought woodland shoes worth Rs 2595/- on 1 August 2010 at Rs 1945/-(after discount) from Karol Bagh showroom (Address: Aero Club, Woodland Store, 17/40 W.E.A Main ajmal Khan Road, Karol Bagh, New Delhi. Tele:[protected] The shoes (Article No: GC 0135105, Colour: Green) i got were defective which i came to know when i wore it. The piece i tried was replaced by some other defective shoes. I was given a one year guarantee and lifetime warranty . My shoes were to be replaced by a new pair if any defect occur during the first year of purchase. I gave my shoes at the showroom for replacement on 29 August 2010. The replacement was not made for a month. When i went at the showroom, i was told the shoes are replaced and i can go and select any pair of shoe worth Rs 1945/-. In terms of "REPLACEMENT" they gave me a money value of Rs 1945/-. I can select any shoes from the stock they had. If the price of those shoes is higher than Rs 1945/-, i will have to bear the extra cost. The company is not replacing the same shoe with another as the current price of the article i bought is around Rs 2900/-. When i asked to give me the same article, they asked me to pay additional charges of Rs 900. I want the same shoe with no extra cost.

      Woodland — Shoe Replacement

      Hi,

      My name is Nisha Rebello.

      I had purchased a shoe from Woodland for 1298 Rs.on the 17th of January.

      I wore it just once on Easter day and the heel broke..
      I took it to be repaired to the Mulund showroom and after getting it repaired, I wore it next to an interview and just before reacing the office, t broke.


      Till date I worn the shoe just twice and both the times it was the worst experience..

      The next time I took it, the store promosed me a replacement.


      They delayed the replacement, asking me for several details.And finally said ast Friday, that they are going to give me a replacement of 700 some rupees shoes because I had paid 700 Rs. for the original shoe, which was incorrect.(I had paid 1298 Rs) I then was sent to the Thane showroom, where teh employee mentioned that now the price of the same shoe was reduced to 700 Rs. because of the complaints they had received. Because of that they were giving me the value pf 700 Rs.


      THAT IS NOT ACCEPTABLE>

      First of all, Ive had several trips back and forth. From Vikhroli to Mulund.. Then Mulund to Thane.. Several times... So much of time and money wastage..

      Secondly the torture Ive had with the shoe.. I dont want to purchase anything again from Woodland and I will tell every person about all the problems Ive faced with the shoe and with this resolution...


      I want either all the money I paid back along with a compensation of the time and money spent for moving from Vikhroli to Mulund and Thane every now and then or a replacement of the same amount I paid..1298 Rs.. with the compensation.


      I dont want even the same shoe now, because I know its going to give me the same problems Ive had with it.. and thats why youll have reduced its price..


      Please respond to me.. Ive always purchased shoes from Woodland.. My husband has purchased 2 shoes this year.. Sprays, polishes.. I always have it from Woodland.. This was the first time I got something for myself and I had this bad experience,,,

      Request you to look into this..

      Woodland — SOLE CRACKED - INFERIOR QUALITY

      I had purchased Woodland shoes from retailers at Madly Road, T Nagar, Chennai during Sept'2009. The sole of the shoe has cracked within a year. I have approached the show room and made a complaint 2 weeks before. They asked for my mobile number to revert back and also informed that the sole replacement would cost around Rs.450. Last week I reminded them about the complaint. Till now I have not received any reply from them which shows their laxity in attending a complaint.

      Myself Nitin Kothari, i bought shoes of woodland worth Rs. 3295 on 5 December.
      I went to bought the newly launched high heel shoes, but the store at C.B.D Belapur called AERO CLUB was not having it in ma size so he pushed me to buy another shoe type.
      on asking that i can wait i[censored] cud arrange it, he refused & gave a false statement that it is out of stock in mumbai & i wont get it for the nxt 2 mnths or evn more. so ipurchased the other 1. nw on tis Saturday in COLABA Area i saw thw same shoes with my size available.On going back to AERO CLUB they said tat its ur mistake y did u purchased it & misbehaved.
      Woodland is the brand wich i hav been using since past 6 yrs n use to recommend as well.
      But tis is really embarassing if the sales guys do these kinda things jst for the sake of sale.
      It was really Bad, & in future i will never go 4 woodland. I m no mre Loyal to it.

      On Dec 6th 2009.On that day although i complained about the size, the shopkeeper somehow convinced me to purchase the pair of shoes. When i started using it the stitches of the shoe started breaking and I immediately reported it to the shop keeper . He took it for re-stitching the same. On the same day i purchased another my favourite brand woodland sandles. After the repair I did not use the shoes for few days. When i started using it I got pain in my foot and it damaged my toes. I got it operated by a surgeon. Once again I started using the shoes and started feeling the pain again.The repair work done by the shop keeper was not correct. I informed him and asked for proper repair or replacement. He is not obliging. I have the relevant bills. I have no other go except approaching consumer court. Anyway before that I just want to inform the company. If company can do something in this regard i will be extremely happy.

      Woodland — Shabby work of Woodland Brand and bad Customer Service from Dealers

      I recently bought Woodland Sandal with following details

      Price : Rs 1795/-

      After using it for 2 days the velcro strap at its back got removed because of shabby stitching. The main reason for the strap getting removed was velcro stitching not done on 1 of its end.
      I compared the same model o[censored]rs with different colour (here light grey), in this other model stitching was well done at its periphery. I failed to understand why there is difference in ur same models.
      Please go through the attached images for more details.
      I am really frustrated with this kind of work and completely pissed off.
      I have had woodland brands earlier but such difference in standards I have not observed.
      I suppose this is shear negligence from woodland brand.
      I got my back strap replaced but again with same kind.
      I complained about the same thing, even though they agree but are not willing to replace the sandal with "Good Work" wala model.
      I suppose I have been duped..

      This is to inform that I have purchased a pair of sandals from AERO CLUB,WOODLAND STORE, SHOP NO. LGF-006,PACIFIC MALL, SUBHASH NAGAR, KHAYALA,NEW DELHI ON 30/7/2011 with invoice no. 2288 for Rs 1675

      First time I wore the sandals on 2 August 2011 and those sandals caused a lot of rashes on my feet.
      When I went to the doctor he said these are due to roughness of the sandals stiching.

      Due to this defect in the sandals it caused a lot of injuries on both of my feets.This kind of quality was never expected form woodland.

      Woodland — Replacement

      As I had brought a woodland shoe from the retailer, after two months the soul of the shoe got separated then I give it back to retailer for the replacement but he isnt accepting it and telling that woodland shoe has no warrenty.Now please give suggesstions.
      I purchased a Khaki shoe size 43 from Aeroclub Woodland Shoes ( 93 /1, ITPL main Road, Marathhalli, Bangalore - 560037, Karnataka, India . Ph : [protected], [protected] ) 2 months back ( Dont remember the exact date as the bill was taken back and i was given a repair slip )

      Detected a manufaturing defect within 20 days o[censored]sage and gave it back. The store manager said we will send it to Delhi office and they will take a call if it has to be repaired or replaced.

      My CCF # 107, Artical No. GC407107A . The date of delivery had been promised as 30th November 2012. When i gave a call 2 weeks before they assured it would be given this week or within the date of delivery.

      Now when i ask they say its not yet repaired. The staff is irresponsible, the store manager is always absent. Funny part is they still say it takes not more than 15 days. I am doubting that they still havent sent my shoe for repair itself and are making me wait for their delay. I still do not have a shoe to wear! And no answer to when i will receive my shoe. They are failing to even commit a tentative date. What kind of service is Woodland giving. You are just losing loyal customers who believe in not just your brand but service as well.

I submitted product twice, shopkeeper accepted that product is defected so he send it to Delhi repair department.       I have purchased a brand new pair sandels of woodland from M/s. Woodland store, Thane in the month of October 2013. Purchase details you can confirm by Telephone No.
      I wore this sandal and went out side the home, with in an hour I found the left side sandal buckle coming out. During investigation it was observed that Sandal buckle was found damaged. I requested the Store Manager (Mr.Mishra) if possible give me replacement, he said no it is not possible we will repair it. I said fine no problem. When we (Myself and Bother) went to collect this sandal on November03, 2013, we observed the repairing was not done properly. We showed it to the Store manager (Mr.Mishra), but he was not ready to listen the complaint. His behavior was also not good, he shouted as if he is the owner of the company. I believe that the owner also will not talk to the customers so rudely. Finally he said since this is the Diwali season, please use and check the performance.
      I tried to use this sandal but again the same problem was observed. So on November 17, 2013 again I went to give this sandal for repairing. I explained him (Mr.Mishra) you walk on road for 15 minutes then you will come to know the problem. Instead of that he wore this sandal and took the trial in the shop, and told me that there is no problem. Again I requested him you will not come to know when you are taking a trial in the shop, instead take a trial in the market. After lot of arguments he took sandal for repair (refer Repair Slip No.:372/THN/13)
      He was unnecessarily arguing with me like a mad man. He doesn’t know How to talk with a Customer. He was talking with us as if I am a Road Romeo. Please note last 10 years I am using wooodland shoes and sandals. This experience was very horrible. I was not expecting such type of reply from Woodland Show room. I am totally disturbed due to such an experience. I am staying at Vikhroli, 20 kms away from Thane Showroom then too as and when I am visiting the shop, going by car and paying Toll Rs.60 (To and Fro)
      I have decided henceforth not to use Woodland products and the same message I will pass to my friends and relatives.
      I need complete investigation within this week otherwise I am going to launch a complaint in Consumer court if required I will publish this episode in the News Paper.

      PS: As mentioned above please investigate in week time. And request to you is please deliver my Sandal at my residence or if you want me to collect from show room then I will collect my sandal in his (Mr.Mishra’s) absence because I don’t want to see his face.

          i bought a white colour high heels sandals from the woodland store in Dev Arch Mall in Ahmedabad city, there was some minor defect in the sandal, so i went to the store, but the salesman tried so hard to remove the stain that the white leather skin came out, now it has no charm,

          if i spend on woodland shoes, i expect some good quality in return, becus i m the regular customer of woodland n this is the first time i had to go to the store with a complain, till date since 6 yrs i m using woodland shoes i had never ever had a complain, my brother n i we both use the woodland shoes n we both enjoy wearing it...

          so its a request that u take the matter into consideration n do the needful.

          i want that the matter shud be taken in to consideration fast, since one month i m visiting the store with a request but i think i m getting a deaf hear to my complaint.

            I had filed a complaint last week regarding a pair of shoes which I had bought a week back and it started giving problems. The Lace Loop started to come off after wearing the shoes just for 5 mins. I had got it repaired from the store where I bought it from twice and again today it gave me the same problem again. I am tired of this now and now I am cursing my self for going for a third rate company like woodland to buy a pair of shoes. This is the first time I am trying woodland leaving other very good branded companies who are prompt with their product and have excellent customer service. Woodland has been a worse experience, both quality as well as for service. Just in two weeks the product is damaged and no one is able to correct it.I have decided to get it repaired from a road side cobbler and i think thats how the quality of a woodland shoe should be treated..LOCAL and CHEAP

              I purchased the woodlands shoe bearing the[protected] on the the tongue of the shoe from the fresh arrival stock at Kolkata woodland showroom at Esplande opp New Market (Aero Club) on 16th Feb 08 paying Rs 2765 for the same and paid by my HDFC debit card (ref no.291033). Today that is 10th April almost all the rivets of lace holder in the shoes ar coming out and so is the lace holder and all the lace holder which are coming out of the shoe rivetting end are brokien and cannot even be fixed.

              I need a solution for the same as its virtually impossible to wear a shoe without the laces.

              Completely agree with the complaint.
              The metal lace holes are riveted very weakly in some of the other models too.
              Looks like they concentrated on good looks rather than functionality.
              Woodland is a overpriced overhyped brand need some good consumer class action. Even my shoes are coming out out metal rivets within one month of purchase.

Again go to the Showroom and they told me that it will be replaced. Today after two months they told me that Model is now out of market. So what can I do to get the shoes. Please do the needful.

                      i bought a wood land shoes priced Rs.3295 for my fiance yesterday (13/03/2008) from Woodlands original showroom in Trivandrum Kerala and today (14/03/2008) the stitching on the sides came off.
                      i went back to the store and asked what they could do for the damage and i got a very cold and rude behaviour from them.They even accused us to have done the damge and that we made unnecessary problems.
                      Its very sad and painful to know that even after paying so much for a branded shoes we are being treated like this for such poor quality products.

                      Woodland Shoes — Poor Quality and service

                      I purchased a pair of woodland shoes on the 27th of April and the next day it self one of the shoe loop cameout. When i went to the store, I was told that it would take 2 days to get it repaired. When I insisted to get it immediatly, the store manager sent on of his workers to a near by local cobbler to chec if it could be repired. The boy didnt find a cobbler and returned back. I was forced to keep the shoes and collect it the next day. After geting it repaired, i wore the shoes and with in 10 mins, the shoe lace of the other shoe, this time the right leg shoe came off!!!
                      When went back to the store the second time, the manager said he will have to send the shoe to Delhi to get it repaired and it would take 15 days to get it back!. I had bought a pair of shoes for 2500.00 and dint even use it and not i was without the shoes. I asked him to get it repired in pune it self. he agreed and ask to me collect it the next day. So much inconvenience just for a pair of shoes...Whu could the company not give me a replacement?????
                      I fully agree with you. I also purchased woodland sports shoes worth Rs. 2295 five months back from Woodland outlet in Borivli, Mumbai (Item code 366107). I wore them for hardly 10 days when I was on a vacation. After vacation I cleaned the shoes and packed them in a plastic bag since it was rainy season. After the rainy season when opened the bag, the shoes were completely covered with fungus which we usually get on leather articles in the rainy season. When I tried to clean them, the denim cloth on my shoes got completely torn. I registered a complaint with the outlet. They kept the shoes and said that they would call me after 20 days. They never called me. When I called them I was told that the head office has not approved the repair and replacement as the wear & tear was from my side. Also no one is responding on the customer care no. which they gave. Such is the quality of shoes and service by Woodland. I am not going to purchase any woodland product henceforth

                      with in one and half years i bought 4 pairs of woodland shoes.one i had gifted balance three i am using, the second one i bought from woodland outlet at mahipalpur delhi.I have paid 1895 rs for that. 6 months later it is deforming its shape now both are in different shapes I told the men of shop to repalce it, he denied and he send the shoes for pasting the sole.and get back it after a whole month . after that i used it for another 6 months. then sohes gone back to its old shape and then i give it to repair in sec-14, Gurgaon, haryana because i have purchased another from the same shop it self . now it is too ugly to wear.they have pasted it with elphy and also not done proper, I can get it done from outside good enough. It is not fair that doing to customers like that for being a world wide brand. I can provide the bills of last 2 pairs. if there is any authorised person to lookafter the issue please do me early .

                      i bought awood land shoe from boots&boots kollam mainroad four month before and after four month my shoe completly damaged what would i do? (cost.Rs.2525)
                      i have bought woodland cheppal worth RS.2195 from the woodland show room trivandrum.
                      but its soul got damaged after 1 month. I proposed the showroom man for replacement. he pasted it with some gum.. after one month its gets damaged again.. wat can i do?

                      I thought Woodland shoes were of good quality, what an ignorance!!.

                      I bought one black leather formal shoe which I didn't use much. Second one was a suede about 3k +. Within an year, stitch line on both shoes withered away, upper soles just came off just like that, stitch line holders in the bottom got just done. POOR QUALITY.

                      Never Again. I am done with WOODLAND!!!

                      Woodland has poor service. I bought a shoe and the very next day found out that the shoe is defective. Now the company says that the shoe is not manufactured any more so, take anything else whether you like it or not. This is a clear case of cheating.

                      I too bought a pair of shoes RS 2900 within two days its buckles get damaged and the very next day i went to the regarding shop and asked to take the necessary action, they told me that they can repair and they gave me back my shoes . but the very next day next shoes buckle got damaged .now the problem is i cant use the shoes at times . paying this much of money and shoes are still in the shop and i am persuaded to take new sandals to use WOODLANDS .very poor quality ...i
                      Very very poor service and rude replies from the shopkeeper. I would not mind giving a negative rating. I purchased a pair of sandals from Woodland Store in Belapur, Navi Mumbai. The loop in which the buckle is kept in place - all these years - this used to be made of metal - they have smartly put a leather loop in its place and the same has come off on the very second day. When i called up, they said they need to send the shoes to the factory to find out the actual defect - in such a case, why dont they provide a replacement pair to customers? What do the customers wear for the n number of days that they take to repair a small loop. The customer has to spend time and money to reach the store, something which they can pay 5 rupees and get it done from a local cobbler - but then WHY? when we pay thousands of rupees for a product for its quality, is this what we should be expecting? Disgusting BRAND! These all people should be booked under offences.

                          I Dr. Vabihav Jaiswal had purchased a jacket from the above store on the[protected]. The payment was done using my OBC Debit Card NO- [protected] an amt of Rs3595.
                          Sir the card had been double swaped by the store owner employee and in the first swap the transaction was not done hence the employee again swaped the card on another machine and the transaction was accepted hence a purchase slip had been received by me of the above amount. I asked the employee whether the first transaction has been done or not as the card had been swaped and the transaction had failed due to some errors, but i was told No by the employee and after receiving my bank statement the amount of Rs3595 had been debited from my account twice of which i only received a transaction slip once.
                          I had been to the store repeatedly after the bank employee had told me that it's the mistake of the owner and not the bank and the amount has already been transfered in the shop owners account. The owner is not ready to credit the payment and is not taking keen interest in the matter.
                          Sir i would be highly obliged if you take keen interest in the matter. I am anxiously waiting for your reply.

                            I am Tauheed Ishrat, working as research scientist in Emory University, Atlanta, USA, basically I am from India. I have been a regular user of Woodland shoes since 2000 and a very much satisfied customer with its quality. I know that woodland is popular brand and have a good market in India and also known as its quality as a life long warranty. I have already used many shoe of this brand and have no complain before this.

                            I am writing this letter to complain about my shoes, which I purchased last two months ago, a Woodland camel color shoes (Article number: 6C0287106 size 42) from south X show room New Delhi, India. I noticed that the sole had loosing pasting from upper. This really shows the poor quality of the Woodland shoes, which is reputed for the highest quality that they claim to maintain. I have lots of complain about this article, like loosing pasting and finishing. when I brought this shoe I have not used last one monthago when I came to USA I start to use that, from the beginning I have complain with. This is the new style article of this brand. I leaved India one month ago to join a position I never used this shoe, after coming here I started to use. Within a month I got the complained from this article.
                            But this time, I am not satisfied with this shoe and sending the purchasing slip as a proof for your kind consideration. I can also send to picture of my shoe. Now I am here in states, and will back to India after 2 year. So let me, what should I have to do?

                            Please look into this matter, it’s a question of your fame and prestige as woodland as comes in top ranking of stuff quality and durable life.

                            I am Anu p Sam from Eranakulam I am unsatisfied with quality of footwear and ur showroom services provided by you I have bought a foodwear model GC 0946110on 8/8/13 from M/s Aero club, woodland stores, door no.                             After wearing the footwear their is some crack from the shoe and I change the shoe and they give other colour to me, and I bought dark brown and they give light brown to me, and next day I go showroom for parachacing other footwear on that time I identify the problem they cheat me, now they r not doing anything for me, past 4, 5 years I'm using woodland footwear only but from ur side I not getting any help I'm ur regular customer.
                            I am unsatified from ur showroom &ur service

                              I purchased this pair of shoes(ProductID: 2707) from CrossRiver Mall, CBD Ground, Shahdara. Within Few days, color of one shoe becomes dull than the other. When i went to them, they told me to purchase, Shoe Polish and brush which i did. Now the lining on the top fo the shoes are tearing off from the top. When i reported this issue to them and they told me that there is no warranty of such things and We cannot do anything as far as quality is concerned.

                              But after three days bottom sole was seperated.
                              I asked shop manager for replacement , they told we can't give any thing , once sold means we can't give anything .

                              I was expected minimum two years life.

                              I bought shoes from kamla nagar delhi store and bought it for Rs 3695/- but this was available only at Rs 2200/- on flipkart & amazon. The store sales person told me that online shoes are not genuine, so I bought it approx @ double cost.

                              Now shoes are torn from sides and back because if its design fault (black rubber). I asked store team for the same but they are saying, it is not covered in warranty.

                              So, please do not buy woodland shoes, neither they make good quality shoes not they provide after sales support.
                              If anyone need sports or casual shoes then go for Decathlon.

                                Dear Sirs,

                                On December 1,2007, I bought a pair of brown size 9 shoes ,from Woodland Show room in Hazratganj market ,Lucknow,226001,India. Used for few hours. The sole has started to seperate already.Size deliberataly chosen one over. On December 9,Iwent to the show room to ask them to change the pair as it was manufacturing defect.The Manager refused to exchange asking me to leave the pair .The pair had cost me Rs.2195 .Now if this is not cheating a trusting customer then what is? COULD you tell the Company to take back this defective pair and refund my money today? They are open for business today. Tomorrow I shall lodge a case in Consumer Court and seek compensation for damages also.

                                WOODLAND — Defective Shoe Pair

                                I bought a pair of shoes from Woodland Showroom, Kamla Nagar, Main market, Delhi in Dec 2009. After wearing the shoe 5 times or so the sole of a shoe got broken from the side panel and I cannot wear it anymore as otherwise the complete sole will come out.
                                When I approaced the showroom owner, he behaved indifferently.
                                Can you pl help/ suggest a way out.

                                  I purchased Article No: - R1G 3023 Dt 29.06.2007 Bill No: 1990. From [AERO CLUB Wood Land Store. Jewel of Pimpri B – Wing Pimpri Pune] at cost 1420 Rs.
                                  After using 2 Months Small Cracks observed in Pair of Shoe after using Five Month Big Cracks observed on Both Sole. I requested to get me New Replacement of Shoe. I given Shoe for Replacement to Aero Club (Pimpri). After several Telephonic Discussions to Aero Club Pimpri, Pune. & Delhi Warranty Head Office Mr. Ramesh & Mr. Sharma (Warranty Manager) . At time of Discussion at Delhi Mr.Ramesh told me replacement is not possible due to Five-month usage of shoe but rework will satisfactory & good as like new one. But I have got very Bad Experience with Commitment . L.H. Shoe New Sole Pasting found removed within Six to Eight Days is this Type Of Service except from such a Worldwide Big Selling Qualitative Woodland Shoe Brand?
                                  Woodland Head Office reworked my Old Shoe Sole with New Sole. I received Reworked Shoe on 06.01.2008 but after regular using of Shoe I found that L.H.Shoe & R. H. Shoe Pasting found removed within 6 to 8 days.

                                  I request you Pl. give me right way to get replacement of Shoe. I need new replacement of my Shoe. I hope you will satisfy me.

                                  I would like to complain in the same. in just 3 months my shoe lost its sole and the so called 'Leather' is torn. I did go to the show room where i purchased it, but had to come back with a bad treetment by them. They are least botherd about their customers. the top management should look into this seriously.
                                  No. As far as I know it is a perfectly good shoe, since I may not have his brand. But according to what I have it is good, excellent.
                                  I saurav bought a pair of woodland shoes from one of woodland store Fracnchisee: AtoZ Fashion pvt. ltd. sco 80-81, sector-17d chandigarh opposite fountain, chd at a cost of Rs. 2495/- in last september 2009. I am a very fond of woodland shoes as I am using the woodland shoes from my college days i.e. since 1997.

                                  But, after 1month, a small dot appeared in one of shoe sole, which I ignored. But after some time, the small dot becomes a hole and subsequently the gap of this hole is become widened and the sole started cracking. I am sure that it is a manufacturing process fault. This was very embarrassing for me.

                                  I visited many time the woodland store chd for complaint; there was no respnse from there so that i have to send a complaint. the manager of there always giving me excuse.so i requst to u plz replaced my shoes as soon as possible. i shall b very thankful to u

                                  I purchase the GD 0655109 Khaki 42 footwear woodland sandal from woodland store at linking road khar, Now this sandal is to dusty and i dont know how to clean it. store boy said it leather, and cant use water for cleaning. Plz suggest me.

                                    Woodland shoe — shoe sole wore out

                                    i had purchased woodland shoes on 20/02/2009 . The sole of shoe wore out within two months. i visited the nearest showroom but there was no proper response shown from their side. Before this i have been using other pair of woodland shoe but such kind of problem was never occured. i accept
                                    Very poor customer service & poor complaint response by Woodland.
                                    Bought Woodland shoes last month it was somehow tight but salesman told me that it will get adjusted in 2-3 times but that didn't happen. So they told me that It will be sent to company to expand it somehow, took 15 for same. After several rounds to Woodland I got those back.
                                    On putting my foot inside, the stitching of the shoe snapped and they responded by repairing it but refused to replace. Even the response of the staff there was bad, they were impolite, arrogant & way of talking was bad.

                                    Send various e-mails to woodland care but they never care to respond any of them.Woodland shoes comes at premium price & we expect good service but I was extremely upset with service.
