Respected Sir,

I have a complaint regarding the woodland shoes and other footwear company. I bought a pair of shoes costing 2000 rupees of woodland company from a woodland showroom. The sole of the shoes have completely torn out. The company offers lifelong guarantee for the sole but they have completely torn within an year. Please do something .

Dear sir/madam,
This is very unfortunate for me to write a complain letter against a world leading brand. Particularly when the complain is for the durability of the shoe.
I have brought the shoe from my nearest woodland shoe store, AERO CLUB, shop no. 1,2 3&4 26A,Orchid tower Hindustan park,Kolkata on 31st January 2010.Within one month my right leg shoe’s sole pasting was come out. I went to the store and asking for the replacement but I was informed that replacement is not possible only repair can be done. Then I have asked the store people for repairing and it was repaired.
Within one and half month I have faced the same problem and got the same reply from store………my shoe was repaired only.
Now I have the same problem again and this time not going to the store only for repair.
I need your intervention regarding the matter.

i had purchased a pair of black oxford pattern shoes from Woodland store, shop no.569, ka/198, sneh nagar, alambagh lucknow, on 19 dec 2009, at a discounted amount of Rs 1500. It has been only six months that i have used these shoes and it is already worn out badly. How can a product not run for even six months which is costing one so much. Instead the company says there was no guarantee for the product since there was discount on the product. What about market ethics, this is like cheating the customer. Please take necesary measures to resolve this issue..

I purchased two pair of shoes vide receipt no. 9698 dt. 02.01.2010 from Aero Club, Shop No.1, Central Market, Lajpat Nagar-II, New Delhi. When I started wearing the shoes within a week the sole of one pair of shoes cracked and came out in pieces. It was given to the same shop for replacement but the same was not done till date. In the second pair of shoes the uppers have started tearing off and the sole has also broken. With such branded costly shoes I am helpless to get my grievance even heard at their shop.

Hi, I am Nitesh Sharma from Gurgaon.

In have bought a pair of shoes of woodland in the month of feb'2010. it was surprised in the month of july as the soel has been completly demaged.

At the time of purchase i was told by the salesman that the warranty will be for 6 month and company will be responsible for any complaint in shoes.

Now in the month of july when i visited at the showroom ,the salesman has completely refused to repair the shoe, they are asking for Rs 450/- .its my uttar surprise .

very pathetic after sale service i have faced by woodland. i have llost my Rs 3000/-.

I purchased a footwear article No. GD 0646109 camel color on 18.07.10 from Woodlaand store, Suffis Arcade, Pattom, Trivandrum attracted by their ad showing "upto 50% off on footwear. At the time of purchase full amount of the product ie; Rs.2495 was billed and I was forced to pay full amount, for which their plea was the product was from pretty fresh/just arrived stock and discount facility could not be extended. But it was found later at home that the manufacturing date in the carton was Nov. 2009, which thay said as FRESH. That matter was mailed to the company on the very same day and till now there is no response. The product has been kept unused.
Please help me to get a full refund or a reasonable discount.

I am astonished by the performance of the footwear of the so called best brand in the footwear range and when i called the above mentioned retailer he clearly denied for any kind of services for the same though it was told to me that the shoes comes under the guarantee of a year. I really doubt that this showroom is selling defective stuf[censored]nder the name of such a big brand. Sir, i shall feel highly obliged i[censored] can look in the matter personally and provide me with the replacement of the same.

Dear sir,
i had purchased woodland shoe from indore last year,& i had use it only two to three times & it looks totally new with no wear on sole from its bottom.But on 20.07.2010 while moving of 100 meter with this shoes i found that one of the sole from the shoe is completely come out due to failure in material.Please give the solution for this damaged.I am totally upset with this event,i had very faith in Woodland brand but...

I had very bad experience from my last purchase. I bought a pair of shoes from Woodland showroom at aero club mallela,dabagaradens visakhapatanam ph:[protected].
After usage of this pair within 4months time sole broken in two parts of bottom. After visiting...sir in warranty side i've given three times but they could not solved.so & MANAGER response is too worst & i need to give add to newspaper.

i have purchased an woodland shoe from woodland showroom in thrissur, Aero Club, Franchisee Prime Rose Shop no: 25/479 on 26/03/10.Bill no: 8900..Article no: G5277. and 2 day's after i went to kuwait..but unfortunately my shoe had a damage on the top portion a small piece of leather damaged and it became bigger and bigger..i have used the shoe for 1 week and with this i purchased another company for my use as i thought of subitting it for repair..i reached after my 3 months visit and went to showroom on 1st july and asked for repair. They didn't accept my requestand told that it cannot be done by them asked me to mail to the company with photos and they told that they are doing so to every customers...what can i do with my new shoes i have used only for 1 week..i'am attachin photo graphs along with this and i trust you that you will do the needful that i can get my shoes back with good enough to wear that..My Mobile NO: [protected]

I have bought a pair of sandal worth 2500 hardly six days used, stitches are cushions got wear tear, i asked them to replace , they said we can only stitch we can replace torned cushioned the i called there helpinie number several time no support provided now the sandels are with DLF saket Woodland showroom, and no body is taking care of that torn cushion

Therefore i request you to kindly lodge a complain regarding the same after paying 2500 i'm not getting satisfied service they told me to wear that torn sandel

I`ve been a loyal customer with Woodland for more than a 15 years now and I'm really disappointed to be writing this mail to you. I hope you take this complaint seriously. I have been purchasing woodland apparels & footwear from all over Bangalore, India and have recommended numerous number of friends & relatives to try out your product. I had purchased a sandal close to 2 years back, as usual like any woodland product, this footwear has lasted long enough.Lately the buckle around my ankle has loosened up & I've escaped a few close vital falls because of that. I got back to a few Woodland stores in Bangalore seeking their help in repairing this issue for me, for which a few branches have agreed to take my sandals, send it to the main production office in Bangalore & get it repaired & back to me in a week to 10 days time.
This evening I entered the RT Nagar branch (since the store was closer to my residence) & the store manager there was not receptive to my complaints at all. Firstly he made me wait for more than 20 minutes despite not having any customers in the store. Secondly, he straight away denied to send my sandal for repair & gave me reasons saying it is very far away (in fact the Bangalore head office is not more than 7-8kms away from that store) and started rejecting my complaint and gave me nonsense answers as to how leather cannot expand & other theories. When I started questioning as to why other branches are ready to accept my complaint & get my sandal repaired, why is this branch not accepting it. He got very unfriendly with me and literally CHASED ME OUT OF THE SHOWROOM. I request you to please look into this unruly behavior.
I`m for sure am never stepping into another Woodland showroom again & never will recommend anyone to purchase its product.

Dear sir,

I have bought two pairs of woodland shoes on 10th february 2010. from Woodland showroom,Aero club, Shop no. 1, Shopper plaza,C G Road, Ahmedabad.in one pair there was complain of finishing of shole. Due to this problem on 13th may i had put my shoes for service in above showroom and they had gave back but i am not satisfied with service because they had not gave me shoes with black spots of chemicals on shoes and damage shoes show.
Today i had visited above mention showroom for this complain but nobody responding for this problem, i using this brand last five years but i very desatisfied due to this experience.

I was visiting India and bought a pair of Woodlands shoes (G 23777 CAMEL) Size 42 from Aero Club, Franchisee: Romani Footwear Co. (Pvt) Ltd, 11/1 Lindsay Street, Kolkata-700087 (near New market) for Rs 2495.00 (Receipt No 450 dated 3/5/2010. I left India the same evening for Dhaka, Bangladesh. I wore the shoes and was tying the shoe laces and one of the rivets gave way and I could not wear it any more.

Buying an expensive shoe and not being able to wear it - is the price I have paid to shop a "reputed" brand shoe.

I am a foreigner and I do not live in India. I live in Dhaka, Bangladesh. Please suggest me what shall I do to get the replacement.

Dear Sir,

One of my friends gifted me Woodland brand leather Belt. Unfortunately the size of the belt was small. Hence I visited the shop from where he purchased the belt and requested for the replacement (Higher size). He told me that the required size is not available? (Surprisingly) and also demanded for the original bill. I told him that the belt was gifted to me and while presenting the gift no one gives bill. The belt was intact, unused with the original barcode tag. Hence, I requested him to verify the barcode tag which was on the belt and conform whether the belt was purchased from his shop a day before or not. He refused to replace it and the belt is still with me without of my use. This was just a wastage of money (@ Rs. 850/-).

My friend purchased the belt from the woodland showroom which is at Wanawadi, Pune

Is there any solution for such services provided by the manufacturer?

They have given defect pices with diffrent quilaty,in shoes,When i went Back to
oulet for replacment , the Retail outlet In charge Mr Praveen , as not Given hint thats second shoes, they are telling we ll get srevice it only,
Let me know that this ll be you Customer Satastifaction, By giving Second Hand & Diffrient Quilaty in Shoes.

I purchased one pair of woodland shoes from Universal Sports Shoes, Medical More, Rohtak on 13.11.2009 in rupees 1900 (Cash Memo : 13332). Sole of one shoe got detached from shoe in region near the tip of the shoes just when I had used shoes only 3 times. Slowly more than half of sole got detached completely. I had to purchase new shoes for the purpose of my marriage and there was a lot of social humiliation as shoes gave away in one of my hospital's Academic function. After paying so much money and facing social and mental trauma, I wish to get these defective shoes replaced. But shopkeeper from whom i purchased shoes said bluntly that we will not replace shoes and you do whatever you want to do.Please help me in getting my shoes replaced as, I don't want to break my trust in Woodland and nobody can sell defective things at such a high price and still not replace the grossly defective product. Wish to have positive response from the company to compensate for my social and economic sufferings due to defective shoes.
