I have purchased a pair of woodland shoes article no GC 0463100 vide bill no 4663 on 01/11/2009.
The shoe is very uncomfortable and the tongue of the shoe bites into the skin and the color of the skin turns to blue / black with an hour of wearing the shoes. I showed the same to the dealer and he sent the shoe for repairs to get the leather softened on 26/11/2009 vide repair slip no 326/asr2. Even after the repair has been done the same problem persists .
Had it been any other brand like rockport / florshiem /nike / adidas the dealer would have changed the shoes or refunded the money . but I think that it doesn’t seem to be the policy of the your company.
The dealer acknowledges the fact that some other customers have also pointed out the same defect in the particular article no.

WOODLAND — Defective shoes with poor workmanship

Dear Sir / Madam

I purchased one brown Suede leather shoe from Lifestyle shopping mall in Gurgaon .
To my bad luck it s top portion has come out withing 3 days of buying . On asking replacement , the shop owner is asking for bill / date of purchase / etc etc ......For items such as Shoes I guess retaining of bill is very difficult . In my opinion the company should pay more attention to such kind of customer feedback .
I shall be greatful if someone calls me @ my handphone [protected] & help me in getting a proer justice .

    I PURCHASED A PAIR OF SHOES FROM CONNAUHGT PLACE F-18 IN MARCH 2009.ARTICLE NO. G-4092 .THIS SHOE DID NOT COMPLETED EVEN ONE YEAR AND ITS PASTING WERE COMING OUT FROM THE FRONT AND FROM WHEWRE THE PSTING ENDS THE LEATHER IS CUTTING.I AM A STORE MANAGER IN THE RETAIL INDUSRY ONLY IN CONNAUGHT PLCE. BECAUSE IT WAS IN THE WARRANTY PERIOD I WENT TO THE STORE AND TOLD THE PROBLEM .THEY DID NOT GIVE PROPER RESPONSE AND I TALKED TO THE CUSTOMMER CARE THEY HELPED ME AND I HANDED OVER THE SHOE TO THE STORE FOR REPAIR MAINTAINANCE.AFTER 5 DAYS WHEN I ASKEDFOR THE VSHOE THEY SAID ITS BACK FROM THE COMPANY AND NOTHING CAN BE DONE.
    THIS IS DISGUGUSTIN THAT A PAIR OF WOODLANND SHOE THAT COSTED ME2395/RS HAS GIVEN ME THE VALUE FOR MONEY THAT WITHOUT EVE NCOMPLETING ONE YEAR ITS PASTING OUT AND LEATHER IS TEARING.SUCH A REPUTED BRAND IN MARKET IF GIVE THIS RESPONSE PROBABLY THOUSANDS OF CUSTOMMER WILL LOOK FOR OTHER OPTION AVAILABLE IN THE MARKET.
    NOW I HAVE TO GET IT REPAIRED FROM LOCAL SHOE MENDER WILL ALSO TELL THE QUALITY OF BRAND IN THE MARKET.

    Woodland / Shoes — poor quality

    Dear All,

    I bought a shoe from woodland store:
    shop no. 64, 100 ft road,
    opposite India Nagar,
    Bangalore
    telephone no.[protected]

    shoe cost was Rs.2695 barely 1 month after its use a small crack appeared on its sole when i went to store they said ts just the design and in case of any problem they will do the needful.
    After 1 more months when it was badly damaged they said that they will repair it within 20 days its about 27+ days i have got no response from them 2 days back when i visited the store they said that my pair has arrived and they will call me within 24 hours it takes me around 100 bugs to go to store every now and then please take appropriate action against such issues so that customer is secured against cheap quality and poor services.

    Woodland / Shoes — Shoe laces out of stock

    Not able to find the woodland shoe laces of camel colour.
    I have been searching for them from last two months from showroom to showroom in Pune but they always tell me that its out of stock.
    Please help me in finding out where i can find them or place my order for them.

    Woodland Shoes — Poor quality pasting

    I bought a pair of Woodland ladies sandal for my wife & a shoe for myself. Unfortunately my wife's sandal's pasting came off after 2 months. On reverting back to the store (at Grand Hotel Arcade, Kolkata) they refused to take any liability for the damage. My shoe lasted just over 6 months after which the pasting came off. I bought it from the outlet at South City Mall & even they refused to take any liability when I asked them to get it repaired. Such behavior is not solicited.
    I DON'T THINK THAT WOODLAND SHOES ARE MONEYS WORTH ANYMORE. THEY ARE RUNNING ON GOODWILL WHICH WILL EXHAUST PRETTY SOON.
    Not able to find the woodland shoe laces of camel colour.
    I have been searching for them from last two months from showroom to showroom in vijayawada but they always tell me that its out of stock.
    Please help me in finding out where i can find them or place my order for them.
    I HAVE BOUGHT THE WOODLAND SHOES FROM BORIVALI (W) TO LAST 5 MONTH.SHOES PESTING COMES OUT TO SECOND TIME IN THE DAY.

      I purchased a Woodland shoe on 23rd march 2009 (Model No. G2101 Black 40) at a price of Rs. 2695/- from M/s. Aero Club, Woodland Store Shop No. 2, Main Market, Sarojini Nagar, New Delhi.

      After 7 months The Sole of Shoe got Damaged and when i visited the Store at Sarojini Nagar they said Rs. 450 will be charged for replacing the Sole and the Warranty of Sole is only 3 months. Pl let me know the Warranty Policy of the Shoe

      If this is the response/performance one will receive from Woodland I think no one should opt for a Woodland Shoe. Plz confirm me the Solution as early as possible.

      I am here to register a complaint regarding my newly purchased Woodland shoe.
      Article No. R1GC 407107 on 17/08/2009 from
      Aero Club (Woodland) Woodland store

      Sole of my shoes had been badly damaged (detached) within month. I was asked to submit the shoes for repairing. I have submitted it on 22 Nov 2009, when I went back to collect my shoes they asked me to purchase a new pair of shoes.
      Even though it is not my fault, they offered me to give back only 75% of the money what I expended to purchase the shoe which has been badly damaged.

      I asked them to return the hole amount of money, as I don't want to purchase a new pair of shoes from Woodland. It was my second experience from Woodland and now I don't want to purchase a new product. I don't want to be a Woodland customer any more.

      I sent my brother to talk to Store Manager, however he did not get any response.

      Now I am thinking to register a complaint in the Consumer Forum.

      Any advise from you guys???


      They have scratched my back and now its my turn to scratched their hole body (Woodland).

      Almost same case happened with me too, but the sole got detatched in around 15 months, also to mention that i hardly used it for 10-15 times in that period.

      Woodland shoe — Damage in both shoes

        I had purchased a pair of chappals about six months back from the woodland showroom near Dev Arc Mall S.G. Road Ahmedabad, unfortunately I do not have the bill hence am being forced to express my dissatsfaction about the quality of the shoes.

        These chappals cost more than those belongn to other companies and one would expect them to last a couple of monthsd before it starts to wear off.........the top has got discoloured and the condition of the sole will indicate that it has not been misused. I would wish to exchange the same without having to incur any additonal cost............

        i had purchased chappal from woodland showroom in madurai. i had complaint with the strap of the chappal and asked to repair and give, but they took 20 days and still there is no response at all. i am very much disappointed with the response of woodland showroom in madurai. here after i never recommend your woodland brand to anyone my friends.

          Dear Sir/Madam,

          I have purschased the said shoe "WOODS" on 17th Oct' 09 from phonix Mills, Lower Parel, Mumbai. It has been barely 2 months and the shoe sole has cracked into two. Also the sotre is not there any more. I am attaching the photos of my shoes regarding the same. I have paid Rs. 2500 for it. I thingk the quality of your shoes has really detoriated. Probally the street shoes wood last more than these ones.

            Dear Sir ,

            I had purchased woodland sandles from satara road showroom of woodland .
            Sandle was slightly tight while I purchased it ,woodland sales person told me that it will be comfertable in few days . after a week I found that sole of sandles wre not flat which is causing problem to my feet .they taken it for repaire and gave me after 10 days still proble is not sloved and again kept for a week but problem remain same .
            then I talk with area sales manager of woodland ,he said he will send to company it came after 21 days to show room but still problem remain same they are not ready to give me new pair as it seemes to company defect and on that woodland people are not cooperating to me, there area manager for pune is not picking up phone given by woodland customer care saying that he will help you

            I have spent 1650 Rs for sandles .

            Repare it properly or give me new pair of sandles is only request .

              Sole replacement

              I have a woodlands shoes model - Gc0138105. The sole of the same is in damaged condition, b'coz i was not using the same regularly. Now I want ot resole the same but when i approach the woodlands showrooms at ernakulam they are telling they have stopped the production of this model. How can a company stop the production of accessories for which the product is still in the market. So i would request your to please help to resole my...

              i got myself woodland shoes worth 2795 Rs.One day after i felt uncomfortable in wearing the shoe.After walking 1 km pain started in my leg.Also the leaf of the shoe seemingly was a loose fit.i approached 3 days later the woodland outlet loacted in nagpur.I asked him to replace it with another model and shopkeeper refused me.He cant replace with another model replying that thing once bought is not replaceable untill it gets woren out or any defect appears.The shopkeeper was being rude in considering my case.my shoe product details are GC-287106.Its just not 500 Rs shoe,i have to bear that shoe as it cost me lots of money.
              Please help,i just want to replace the shoe with another model.

                I had purchased one pair of Woodland Shoes from M/s N.N. Traders ( a unit of Dhanani Shoes Ltd. ), Tinsukia, Assam-786125 by paying Rs. 2550.00, on 12th February 2009 Cash memo no. 4695, Shoe No. 401107 Size 43. I surprised to see that within 7months of its purchase the lower layer (shoul) was damaged. I am bound to think that the dealer/company cheated me by giving duplicate item. Will company do an investigation ? Will company satishfy me by replace with a newone ?

                i purchased a woodland shoe from rajouri garden, TDI MALL (woodland, there is only woodland showroom in that mall), on 21/092009, the owner has cheated by giving a defected right shoe, which is tight due to shape, even the seem(threading) on it is torn, it is less than three months
                he actually gave me a defected shoe,

                i am pissed off, unsatisfied, din't expect this, it cost me 2500rs.
                it has not been three months yet

                  Dear Sir,
                  I am a regular custmer of your brand "WOODLAND" and I had very bad experience from my last purchase. I bought a pair of shoes from Woodland showroom at Shipra Mall, Indirapuram, Ghaziabad.
                  After usage of this pair for few time for teared from steches from rubber of bottom. After visiting the showroom, they didn't respond well and asked me to sign on Rs. 450/ charges for the repair. Though they admitted that this is manufacturing fault till then no responsibility was taken and I am asked to pay, if you get the Sole pair in a months time.

                  I used to appreciate WOODLAND brand a lot and afte this experience, it could be difficult to come back to store again even after the long relationship. I am expecting positive response atleast for the manufacturing defects.

                    I am a custmer of your brand "WOODLAND".I got a very bad experience from my last purchase dated 28/12/2009. I bought a pair of brown sandals GD0491108 Tin No [protected] from your showroom at Vytila, Ernakulam..
                    complaint being, , it had a tear from steches from rubber o[censored]pper portion, .which was not used even more than 2 months.I have complained at above showroom but I did not get good response.They were not even responding or paying any interest on this particular issue even when i had been there taking time from my busy schedule.. i got a guarentee period of 7 months even then they are not ready for checking out the problem or either reaplacing it with a new one.. I dont think that WOODLAND needs a perfect proof than this letter for it's product.
                    If I will not get proper response by you, I will never use the brand and will never suggest any one to go for your brand, but i don't want to do this so I will wait for your positive response.

                      dear sirmadam,

                      i had purchased a pair of shoe from woodland kolkata south city mall about a year back. after two month or so i found i switch ( from the joint of sole and the leather) comming out of the shoe. i thought it must be an extra one. it continued around four months and in the month of september 09 i was in delhi when the worst part happened. the leather got toured. after comming back to kolkata i went to the shop, they were sorry about the matter an took the shoe for repairing free of cost which took around 20 days for reparing. now it novemer an again the same problem had arised from the same place and also fro a different position also. I am really disappointed cause buying costly shoe result in this type of quality is not excepted. please take some strong action against the company.

                        Dear Sir,
                        I bought Woodland Shoes from their Aero Club outlet in Bangalore ( Marathalli) on 29.8.2009.Within a month o[censored]sage the metal clips where shoe laces are to be tied came off rendering them unusable. I bought them with HDFC Bank credit card the total amount was Rs 1885.
                        My grievance is that a shoe worth Rs 1900 supposed to be tough shoes, metallic failure of shoe lace clips indicates a manufacturing defect.
                        Can you help me in lodging this complaint against this manufacturer, a refund of my money and prevent them from passing off these substandard shoes as tough shoes to public.

                          Dear Sir/Madam

                          I wanted to purchase a ladies chappals from woodland and first visited the showroom at Raghuleela Vashi. Not a single sales person came forward to answer queries and therefore I left the shop. Since I wanted to buy a pair from Woodland itself, I again visited Nirmal Lifestyle at Mulund. This time the sales person attended, but had no sense of sales manship. He showed me a size 38 and i wanted to try the next higher number to check which would be the right buy and he tells me that people in mulund are only of this size and we dont cater to people with broad legs. I must let u know that if no 38 is a normal size then 39 cannot be abnormal size. Since u charge more than other branded shoes the customer has to be satisfied with the purchase. when brought to the notice of the manager, he also was indifferent. Is this the type of people u recruit to sell a reputed product. I can understand that a product may not be available at a given point, but the salesperson had no communication skills absouletly. I would be grateful i[censored] could look into the matter.

                            Dear Sir,

                            I Bought my WoodLand shoe at Chennai in their spences plaza outlet a year back and i hardly wore it, yet the sole of both the shoe's broke. I used to wear Woodland shoes for many years and was surprised by such poor quality sole this time around.

                            I am sure this will hlep other buyers to be aware of the problem exists in the product and also the company to do some thing about it.

                              I had purchased one pare of sandals for my wife (Mrs. Rita Sisoudiya) from Woodland exclusive showroom (AERO CLUB, Shop No- 15, Ground Floor, Dev Arcade Mall, S. G. Road, Ahmedabad-380015 around 6 months back. One month back one strip of one of the sandals came out. We went to give that sandal for repair on 20th Oct,09. Since we were in a hurry we could not check all the details in the repair slip given to us. In fact Repair slip No. and date of delivery was not mentioned in the slip. We were told to enquire after 3-4 days. We enquired 2-3 times and finally went to the shop on 29th Oct-09 evening to take delivery of repaired sandal. Sandal was repaired in such a way as if it has been repaired by some road side shop. When I argued with the person who was sitting on the counter, he behaved in a very inappropriate way. He told his name as “PRATEEK”. Finally I refused to take the delivery and asked Prateek to either give me fresh piece or get it repaired properly. He told me that he will be sending it to Head Office (Delhi) for inspection and repair but was not in a position to give any specific date for delivery. Although he said that we can enquire after 15-20 days. Overall behavior of the staff and specially Prateek was highly objectionable and much below the standards of a person, who should represent at a High end Brand shop like WOODLAND. I am highly disappointed by my experience with WOODLAND.

                                  When i walking in my office (on tiles) shoes sole full sound is coming, I can’t walk in office it’s too horrible, I inform this to woodland dealer, but they saying we can’t help for this.

                                    I am Sreedhar T and I felt the need to write this complaint because of the following reasons:
                                    I have bought a Woodland footwear from one of your factory Outlets on 11th July 2009 with its address as stated below.

                                    It was just within a week that I had problems with the buckles coming off from the footware.It took a a month for the owner to fix this problem.Again a two days later I had the same problems with the buckles of the footware.Even this time, it is taking the owner more than three weeks to fix this problem and it has still has not been returned

                                    I strongly believe that replacing my faulty pairs of footware would have been a permanent solution for the problem but the Owner of the outlet projected a very much recless behaviour which was not expected from a reputed brand like WOODLAND
                                    I have preserved the cash receipt, which I feel is concrete proof of my authenticity

                                    My name Sumit Patil I brought Wood Land Shoes before around 6 months ago for 2400 Rs, now my sole is cracked so i went to the retail show from where i brought this shoes, they took the shoes & they told me that as the shoes are under warranty they will get it repaired, after a month ia received a call from woodland that the shoes will not be repaired due do some reasons, take the shoes off, suggest me what to do .
