DTC (Delhi Transport Corporation) — Misbehavior

It comes into the picture that on day by day basis the misbehavior of Driver and Conductor is increasing of Delhi Transport. They don't know how to behave or talk with passenger because they have no afraid of their jobs because they are working in government sector.

I faced one problem today morning when i came at Gurgaon bus stand for traveling from Gurgaon to Sankar chowk and I asked, "Would you stop bus at Sankar chowk" from Driver of bus no. DL-1P B 2636. Then he suddenly angry and said i came here just before 2 min and i didn't book my bus till now and you are asking "Would you stop bus at Sankar chowk". Then i said, why u r angry i asked only about your stoppage and instead of these words you can say it will go after 10 min or no and after that he said, "Dussa tenu or i will beat you"

And after that conversation a lot of questions was coming in my mind

1.) Is this the benefit of Public Transportation if yes then we don't need this type of Public Transportation in our country and we are happy Private Transportation with certain conditions.
2.) Can anybody stops this daily routines Gunda gardi?
3.) Is this problem in the training of these ?
4.) Will State Govt will stop or take any type of action on these stupids?
5.) Should be come forward to stop this type of problems?

I have one humble request to you all peoples if anybody face this type of problem from any Public Transportation then express your view here.
So, i didn't get what i asked anything wrong and why he said a lot of words instead of words?

DTC — misbehave

sir such a dirty mind driver i have seen first time in my life.At dwarka sec-1 red light.He picked and recieved the passangers while driving the bus and using mobile he was driving very roughly and using mobile.such a employer are bad for all the department.he misbehaved with me.
I request u pls take some action against such driver.

Sir this is the complaint against the driver of route no. 604 routing from vasant kunj to new delhi rly. stn. no.DL1pc8971 on[protected]in the evening at around 4.30 pm. the bus reaches at kishangarh stand next to chervolet showroom stand . A lady aged more than 60 with a heavy built was standing just around 10 mts. far from the bus and were not able to move fast to catch the bus. when lady gave the signal to stop the bus, the driver did not stop the bus in front of her and move up . I was sitting in the bus when i ask him why he had not stop the bus for lady he reply me that if he will stop bus for each passenger he will be late .At vasant kunj he stop the bus in front of police station and dropped two police man at the station even the bus stand is just 15-20 meter far from the station . when i ask him why he stop the bus before the stand you are not getting late now he reply me MERI MARJI TU KON HOTA HAI MAI KOI DTC KA DRIVER NAHI HOO, and he use the abuse language with me, Sir if this type of driver is running the dtc buses and this type of gundagardi of drivers will continue in the buses DTC will never be in profit because the income of DTC comes from passangers not from the police .i hope you will take strict action against the driver and also conducter who was supporting him on wrong wordings.dtc drivers should know that one day they will be old and of that age if somebody will behave like with him what he will feel . they must respect the old and aged peoples and stop bus for them.

I am a frequent traveler by the DTC bus 507 (Low Floor AC bus). Today i boarded my bus from Munirka to get down at Yusuf Sarai when the driver didn't stop and kept driving. I asked him to stop when he started shouting at me for not telling me in advance to get down. I told him every bus stops at this station and why wouldn't you do that. He said there is one more bus of the same number standing there and then he started abusing me. After sometime he asked me to get down in the middle of the road and he didn't completely stop the bus. I almost fell down on the road and he kept on saying things to me. He was more in a hurry to get past the other bus standing there and grab more passengers. These problems are faced on everyday basis by the travelers of this bus because there is just one bus which travels on this particular route. Moreover there is no time table of these buses. They come at their own time knowing that they have monopoly on this route. Passengers have to wait for as good as 40-45 minutes to get this bus. Please take an urgent action against this driver. I am not aware of the bus number but this bus generally reaches Munirka at 5:20 pm. Today it reached at 5:55 pm

Hi...I live in Patel Nagar and my office is Bhikaji Cama Place and still i m change my bus is Narain Chowk Ring Road...but my question is earlier DTC department is regular run route No.618 (Shadipur Depot to Safdarjung Terminal) but still this route no one any bus...and much people very problem to Safdarjung, R.K. Puram, Munirka, Bhikaji Cama Place and other place in South Delhi...so i m kindly requesting to you please restart this bus route No.618 (Shadipur to Safdarjung Terminal)...

Hi, travelling on low floor nuses is becoming same as blue line earlier. Both AC and Non AC bus drivers they are doing just what they want. They are doing rash driving, don't stop properly at bus stops and ask people to get down from a running bus only. Daily I am seeing such things and you will see, they will give you abuse answer.
I appreciate some of the exerienced drivers and conductors doing good job.
I request to take action againt the increasing complaints soon otherwise it will be difficult to manage them later.

The bus no 534A Ac for iGi Airport going towards . Around 8.20 AM the bus reached my stop at Shaikh Sarai for IGI Airport, cargo Terminal. I requested the bus driver to stop the bus in my next bus stop. The Driver was not only stop the bus but he used abuse words against me. That bloody driver was asking me that "yha koi stand nahi hai !". Really I got surprised to here this kind of words from a DTC low floor AC bus driver. Since all buses are stopping there, why this bloody driver refused to stop?. Therefore, I kindly request your goodness to take immediate necessary action against the said driver.

Delhi Transport Corporation — complaint about bus driver of the route no. 544 bus

Dear sir,
I am complainig about bus driver of rout no. 544red ac bus. yesterday at 9pm when i was coming from safdarjang to sarojini nagar M block bus stand i take 10 rupees tickt for it but when bus reached the bus srand i came to the front gate of and told to driver to stop the bus but he said bus will stop at next bus stand then i told him why r u not stopping the bus he badly missbehave with me and said if i ask more question then bus will not stop at the next station.
I request to u please do something for these kind of drivers

all conducter on delhi route or noida route is very care less and they do not good behav with passanger
some conducter is not given ticket and some conducter is given old ticket, and when we refuse take as invalid ticket then they do bad behave,
i mention some bus no, if you can do reaction then it will be good other wise i will understood you all very unfaitfull

I live in Budh Vihar and I am working in Patel Nagar there is a single direct bus(962)service. The frequency of this service is very retarded as probably DTC does not have enough buses. However with induction of your new fleet i am sure that more buses can be planned to run on this route. I request you to please sanction a few more low floor bus on route from Budh Vihar to Patel Nagar.We are suffering very much because there is only service. We could not reach on time to office. Kindly make arrangement for ordinary Route or limited bus.

Hello sir/ madam,
I wanted to take your concern about the daily bus problems which are feces by regular user of DTC buses. notice that there so many users using the DTC bus services in daily routine. And I don’t think so that anybody notice & taking any actions against these complaints. Even they don’t worry about these complaints. Because I think they no need to facing these problems & travel by these buses or they got the special services. That’s why they don’t care about it.

I am also a one o[censored]ser of DTC buses. I just make your notice that route no 544, 540 & 500, which is belongs to south Delhi. the bus drivers are not stop the bus on bus stand properly, mostly the bus is in the running mode and passengers used to run for catch the bus. When he passed out the stand then he stop the bus. I don’t know for whom? He is stopping the bus. Sometimes they bus was full packed with the passengers after that they trying to fill it up again even their no space for one step & they forcefully trying to close the doors. Which is hurts so many time to the users. It’s really very dangerous things. Sometimes they
(driver)used to open the bus doors on red light & on mid road anywhere the passengers wave him for stopping bus & and he stopped it doors were still opened. When some complaints him for some issues then he arguing with them & misbehave with them.
This is not about the one bus issue its about all bus driver’s & conductors. They misusing their position which is given by the GOVT to them. I am not blaming the organization but I think this is the new crowd who taken in during the CWG from private sector to GOVT sector. They used to do the rough driving, misbehaving with the passengers.
I am not talk about some particular bus no. particular bus or particular bus services. It’s about all those buses who’s not doing their duties in proper manor. Every morning people used to face some new problems.
This my request to you please take the appropriate action on it. Because it can be solved by you it’s not impossible thing which cants solved by the YOU.

I am also suffering from this kind of rude behaviour & non stopage of DTC buses at their stop, , today i have to reach peera garhi before 8.30 A.M but due to non stopage of bus at their stop i m unable to reached, route no 254 vehicle no DL1PC-8262, the driver of this bus did not stop at Samaypur Badli, story does not end here he furhter refuse to open gate at other stopage, and even he did not stop bus at any one of the single stopage, when we requested to open the gate, he start arguing & using abuse language, and said "main sarkari karamchari hu jo ukhad sakta hai ukhadh le" this is very rude

Kindly tak some serious action towards the same & also against for the driver.

There is no service of 374 from Nehru Place to Nand Nagri between 5:00 P.M. to 7:30 P.M. All the passangers are facing lots of problems, specially who are working in Nehru Place. Office hour finished off at 5:00 but they are late by 2:00 hours just because of POOR DTC SERVICE. If one bus is on time then all the buses come line by line on the same time and rest of the time there is no service. All the people are very disappointed by the the DTC drivers & conductors also.If the bus come then driver not stop at the bus stand, means everybody is corrupted. I just want to know, who is responsible for this terrible service of DTC bus? If we pay all the taxes to government then we want some favourable services from govt. Why should we face this unwanted problem in our life? We already have lots of problems in our life then why we tolerate this? I am very disappointed by this...

Sir/Madam,

I live in Bhorgarh village near narela. This is complaint about the dtc bus service on route no. 103/112/175/179. These bus route has very poor bus services. The operations and their schedule was vary par from as per on the papers. There are times when there are 2-3 buses runs parallel in less the interval of 0-2 mins. and there are time when we have to wait for even more than one to one and half hour for the buses.

And since the new depot starts operating in narela which was on the route of 103/112/175/179 which is at less than 2 km from bhorgarh village, villagers are facing more problem than in the past. The drivers does not complete their route to narela via bhorgarh instead they turn the bus to the depot leave the passengers on the depot, from where we have to wait for another bus or some another means. And even from they start their journey directly from the depot to their destination, even the route should be via narela and bhorgarh.

One point that I want to highlight is that there is so much vehicles(gramin sewa) are running on that route out of which mostly are unauthorised or they have permit of other route indeed, they are running their vehicle on this route. And there is no point that this route is not that much congested. I am sure if the buses completed their route from lampur border/safiabad border or narela to the purani delhi rly. stn. or azadpur inspite of jahangipuri or narela depot or satyawadi raja harishchandra hospital, then there will be not point of saying this.

Today on 4th of oct 2011, I have to wait 70-75 min. at budhpur stand for the dtc bus of route 103/112/175/179. This is not some exception, actually this happens so oftenly.

I live in Safiyabad border in narela. This is complaint about the DTC Bus service which is very low in that perticular route in a day only 2-3 rounds done by DTC buses Route No is 112. All people who are lived in safiyabad border facing so many problems. Gramin services are their but don't go with seating passengers they need 25-30 people in their auto which is very much harrising of a normal people.

please do some thing in that case we all want that you will solve my and my villegers problem as soon as possible and 112 Route No bus rounds may be increase for 20-25 rounds in a day.

My name is Amit kumar & i am working in multinational company in Nehru Place by bus no-306. This route is so busy and the DTC bus is not runing in this route. this reason the private bus is runing very slowly and is very rouldly behaviour for many people.
I have suggested please provide a DTC bus on 306 route . I hope so you consider my letter.

Sir/Madam I am daily basis passenger from noida sector-21 to Sector-15 Noida. I have observed that there are no DTC buses available in office hour around 08:30am-9:00am and same problem additionally arises when i am coming back to home from noida Sector-15 to Sector 21 around 6pm-6:30pm .Kindly it is requested to increase DTC bus services during the office hours, as soon as possible and as per timings mentioned above.

Specially after your hiring of ex Blue Line bus drivers,
the standard of decency of the drivers which expected by the poor comuters, has definitly detoriated.Virtually, there is hardly any of these drivers know how to behave with the commuters, who at times feel that these drivers do not care about any complain.Previously DTC drivers were really concerned about complaints made against them.But that fear has gone and attitude is "Do whatever you want to."In many occassion, I have observed that the body language of these drivers is like a goon.I can tell you many passengers are scared of them.Old Habits Die Hard.One can easily distinguish between an old drivers and the newly appointed ones, who used to drive Blue line buses.These drivers are arrogant, illbehaved.In the midst of CWG preparation, you have not cared to look into this very important problem.You must ensure that thses drivers are accountable to you.We all know that DTC is short of drivers.But at the same time you must ensure that the commuters are not the sufferers.Like me there are many who prefer to travel by DTC.For us this is becoming a nightmare.Not only that.They drive these low floor buses so rashly, that I fear the life of these buses will reduce.After all it is tax payers money which is involned.This is high time that you take them to task.I hope sending this mail

i am raju working ion shahstri bhawan i am regular passenger of of Route no. 213, Harsh vihar to kendriya terminal i felt so sorry to tell u about the rude attitude of the employees of DTC driver & conductor of Route no. 213, Bus no. DL - I P - C-8436 . i noticed it from last many days that the driver of Bus No. 213 always he not stoped the proper stopage of harsh vihar. but today[protected] morning near 8:00am the condition got unbearable when the driver not stoped the bus on the bus stand even many passenger were step down on the road from the gate of the bus i asked to driver why he not stopped the bus on the proper place then the driver & Conductor started Murmuring/abusing to me and they forcely tried to throughtout from the bus . after it i called the police throught my mobile. i asked them about complaint book but the conductor refused my request and theread me for not good result i regularly asked him for the complaint book. some passenger also give me support in this matter after the telephonic interruption from police, the conductor give me the complaint book and i launched a complaint No. 12(page No. 12 in his complaint book.
i therefore requested to take this matter seriously and step up some hard action against the guilty Driver & Conductor Route no. 213, Bus no. DL - I P - C-8436.
i also launched another complaints against those guilty Drivwer & Conductor thought the proper channel from my Office.

i am wating to ur reply. as early as possible.

I am Raju working in Sastri Bhawan, I am the regular passenger of Bus No. 213 Harsh vihar to Central Secretariat. I felt so sorry to tell you about the rude attitude of the Employ of DTC Driver & Conductor of Bus No. DL-1P-8436(Route No. 213). I notice it from last many days that the driver of bus No. DL-1P-8436(Route No. 213) always not stopped the proper stoppage of Harsh Vihar. But on this day[protected] Morning near about 8:10 AM, the condition get unbearable when the driver not stopped the bus on the bus stand even many passenger were step down on the road from the gate of the Bus. Many passenger asked the driver why he not stopped the bus on the proper place then the driver & conductor stated Murmuring/Abusing (that I cannot tell in this letter) to me/passenger and they forcely tried to throughout me from the bus. Then I ask when about complaint book, the conductor refused to give me complaint book he refused and many passengers also give support in this matter then the conductor threat me for not good result. After that the conductor give me a complaint book and I launched a complaint having Complain No. 12(on page No. 12) in his complain book.

I, therefore, requested you that to take this matter seriously and step up some hard action against the guilty of Conductor & Driver of Bus No. 213(Dl-1P-8436.

I also launched another complaint against those guilty driver and conductor thought proper channel from my office.

** There are no action taken by the manger of Nand Nagri Depot in this matter against guilty Conductor & Driver I have also given an application as on[protected].

While congratulating the Delhi Govt. for introducing low floor buses, it is desired that the time of departure of the LF Buses must be displayed along with destination board from the originating point. The passengers have to look out for the concerned drivers or conductors to get the information about departure time of the buses and the staff is unavailable or refuses to part with the information regarding departure time.
Further it is submitted that Lower Floor buses may kindly be introduced on route No. 127 and 183, at present there is no low floor buses running on these routes. The buses originating from Shalimar Bagh and were stopped e.g. 171, 184, 631 and 160 may be introduced for the convenience of the residents of this locality.Thanking you. I have observed today that two low floor buses route no 166 left Shalimar Bagh terminal at a difference of 3 minutes, one at 8.45 and the other 8.48. The second LF Bus has not a single passenger. Is it not the wastage of transport facility for the public and giving opportunity to Blue line Buses to pick up the passengers? It all happened due to lack of supervision and proper administration. Please give suitable directions to staff to keep difference of timings for departure of buses. R K Nanda Shalimar Bagh.

I agree with the suggestions of Mr. R K Nanda. I want add that the departure/arrival time of LF Buses must be published in all Newspapers as well as TV's and also must be inform to Commuters for any bus missing so that they may take alternate arrangement. I have also complaint from DTC for not palying sufficient buses in the Trans-Yamuna area (Jheel, Geeta Colony, Khureji and Krishana Nagar). There is only one Bus 39 which are overloaded in the peak hours. Some Buses may please be started for AIIMS, Hauz Khas, IIT and Mehrauli and Saket.

Please provide a service of bus route no. 801. There are no buses for route no. 801. Atleast provide a bus at 6:00, 6:30 & 7:00 O'Clock.

I was standing at bus stop Chand Cinema for taking a bus for my destination Mayur Vihar Phase III. When I saw a bus route no.301.When I go to enter in the bus the driver Speed up the Bus very fast so I fell down on the road. and other DTC Bus Rout No 309 Hit Me on the Road.
