DTDC,

A courier was sent on Friday (May 29th) from Noida to Guwahati and it has not reached till Wednesday (June 3rd). HOW IS DTDC A FAST COURIER SERVICE?? The speed post service provided by the govt. India Post is faster than your service. VERY DISAPPOINTING. On top of this-

1. NONE OF YOUR CUSTOMER SERVICE HELPLINE NUMBERS WORK. EVEN AFTER CALLING MANY TIMES, I COULD NOT GET THROUGH DELHI, NOIDA OR GUWAHATI NUMBERS.

2. SMS TRACKING DOES NOT WORK.

3. TRACKING ON WEBSITE DOES NOT WORK 80% OF THE TIME.

In summary, I will not be using DTDC again and I will also be discouraging other friends, colleagues and offices from using DTDC.

I did not get any response feedback regarding this complaint yet.
Kindly respond on this complaint and take it seriously..

I did a courier to Balasore, Odisha from Uttam Nagar East, Delhi on 27th dec 2014.After that i tried a lot to track but no lost. I had visited several times to the corier center to track my parcel but their service and response was pathetic.
Tried to reach helpline numnber for delhi dtdc but they said they can not help if tracking number is not populating at their end. Now 2 months have been passed and I think I lost my parcel.Also mailed them twice thrice but no resoltion has been provided.

I had sent a courier on Thursday from Mumbai to pune which was supposed to be delivered on Saturday, and today is Tuesday and still it hasn't been delivered.this the most annoying courier company. Never ever trust this company in case of emergency.

the parcel was booked on 25th Nov 2014 from bhimavaram to Bangalore. As per the tracing details, the parcel is delivered on 29th from MADIWALA MASTER FRANCHISEE, BANGALORE. BUt yet i have not received the parcel. When i contacted the cUstomer care...very poor response...they told me to contact another agent at JP nagar...when contacted they direct back again.to madiwala...this is jUst continuing and they dont lift the calls...from morning i was calling and only afternoon i cold contact them...and still no explanation of where the parcel is stUck or stolen...

I shopped two items from eBay by dtdc courier docet no. Z43728746 dt. 30/12/2014 but parcel not yet deliver dt. 8/1/2015. so I call again and again in jalandhar branch first of all they couldn't pick phone when they picked they said lost the parcel this is very irresponsible, so I complaint you and request please do this fast and deliver as soon as possible..thanks, Nancy Verma.

It had been passed 7 days but my parcel with consignment number Z42298172 with the below delivery address has not reached till date. The parcel was very much important and was supposed to reach on time. Moreover, I am also not able to track my courier with the above consignment number. Please do the needful as I am very much worried about my parcel.

I have booked my parcel on 22nd Jan and it has reached Bhopal on 24th Jan but yet my parcel has not been delivered. I have talked to DTDC over phone but yet no solution .

Tracking number Z46792566.This courier was sent on 28/01/2015 and is not yet delivered to the destination address or the source address. Kindly track the courier and send it to the destination address as it contains very important papers. Sending mails to the Customer Care / calling the customer care did not help. Please look into this on priority and help me.

Parcel not delivered as per time i have bear looses because of laziness of DTDC services or improvisational service behaviour from DTDC office

I had used your services to get a Birthday greetings card delivered to my daughter Vide CN No. H42458729 on 20th Mar 2014. This was to be sent from Hyderabad to Bangalore. It has not been delivered to her yet. on enquiring I am told 'it should have been delivered". This was to be delivered on 23rd Mar. Now it is already one week too late. Our postal service would have done a much better job of this for far less a price. I paid Rs 80 for service not delivered. Today I am being told that it was delivered to a receptionist and to inquire from them.


(1) Why is the parcel not delivered to the intended person? I had provided complete name, address and phone number of the intended recipient.


(2) why do I have to follow up with the receptionist now - that too after a week too late?


(3) You charge a premium. Should this be the expected quality of service from DTDC?


The content of the parcel was a birthday greeting card. Her birthday was on 23rd. I was assured this would be delivered on 23rd. Today it is already 29th and still not delivered. How do you compensate for this?

i did not get my parcel which i ordered via amazon.com...it was supposed to be delivered by DTDC...ref no z51431751

Gave a parcel at dtdc nanganallur, chennai (CF1713, NANGANALLUR) on 22nd May 2015 to be delivered to Bangalore. Regret to inform that the parcel has not yet reached its destination till date 28th May 2015.

Please do the needful immediately. Your staff at Nanganallur are too lethargic and casual in finding a solution for this.

I think they are blind to the seriousness of the situation.

You collect others material. Charge a hefty sum for delivering it and in the end you don't deliver.
Please prove that I am wrong in making the above statement.

I need a immediate solution. By keeping silent over this issue, Kindly do not make me feel that I stay in India and any solution to a problem is not immediate.

A parcel from Amazon has not been received yet. The real location is Chelakkara and got intimation from Trichur DTDC office that the Parcel has reached Wadakkancherry and they cannot deliver it in Chelakkara as they have no office over there. My mother (who is sick) took an auto and went to Wadakkancherry and they said the parcel has not received over there. When I contacted Trichur office, they told they sent it to Wadakkancherry. Till now we have not received any intimation from Wadakkancherry to come and collect the parcel.
This is really frustrating. I have clearly mentioned the recepient address while ordering the item from Amazon and if DTDC has no service in Chelakkara why did they took the order? My mother has to go there multiple times to get the parcel because of the poor communication from the Trichur and Wadakkancherry offices. She did not receive the parcel yet and the last date to receive the item from Amazon they mentioned in the confirmation email is June 25th. Please do the needful to deliver the parcel to her.

My Docket No. K79142967 not delivered after passing of 12 days. In this parcel i have delivered my most important document. Customer care say that due to internet problem they don't know current position of my parcel. I am in too much problem.

Hi I would like start off with the information about my package ( F[protected] . I was supposed to receive it on 19th december . It was Police watch that was coming from Hyderabad . on friday night I checked the tracking status It was " Out for delivery " . Again even not receiveing on saturday I rechecked at night which told " Delivered on friday " I stay in a PG accomodation, I have been receiving a lot of couriers I do get a call always as the package is delivered to my owner . but this time no call came and even no package . next day being a sunday i could not contact dtdc customer care nor the franchise . On monday( 22 dec ) and tuesday( 23 dec ) i waited, There was no sign of my package . on 24th after getting the franchise no. that is just a few yards away from my place i called him at 5.45 pm . He told me directly that it has been handed to my owner, and on this hand my owner denied so I asked the manager to send the guy who delivered at my place with the papers where the signature and the number is taken . he promised me that the guy would reach by 6.30 . The person reached my place by 7.30 .He said that he was not the person who was assigned on friday to deliver packages . and also he didnot have the papers ... iand hence giving me his number he said " i will check and ask the person where has he delivered " . On the same day i visited the franchise myself at 8.00 . And i found the manager .I requested him to look into the matter . He assured me that post christmas he would find my package out by 26th december . On 26th I gave him a call at 4.30 cause that is the time i get off my work . The manager answered that the courier guy has not yet come to the office . That was the day i took the number of the regional manager from the manager with the hope that they would take some action and fasten the process . on calling her i.e Miss Nita . She took the manager on con call and advised him to end the case by sat. ( 27 dec ) . On sat the manager gave me a call in the afternoon and had a very new story to tell me He said that they are not getting any documents i.e the sheets of the signature and the phone no. hence they understood that the package on reaching Bangalore hadnt come out of the branch to be dispatched to the respective franchise . I couldnt really understand and went to the franchise office . There the manager worthlessly showed me the sheets of 19th dec delivered parcels and told that my package no. wasnt there, later on asking him that if this was the matter why was tracking online showing the parcel was delivered on 19th ???? He said it was his mistake as he was the person making that entry . and then he provided me with the branch manager Mr. Ulagnathan . On speaking to him on 29th december . He told that they will work on it on 31st December . on 31st december I got a call from him and He told a new story that the manager of the franchise has accepted the fact that they have lost the parcel ... and that now i need to ask the person who sent the courier from hyderabad to write him a mail which he would escalate to the higher officials . and i did the same as asked . But now he is telling to take it further to the place where he booked the mail .

It was a birthday gift for me . emotions where attached .. May i ask that how much more time do i need to wait already 16 days are over I dont get it who is hiding whose mistake ???.. its really getting tooo serious now . I am speecless . I am not getting any emai id of higher officials too so that i can send them the trail mails too . This is highly unexpected .

I have contacted multiple times to the concerned person but haven't got any positive response.
plz take necessary steps as early as possible.
