I received a msg from BV-EPFOHO some 3 months before saying that "Form 13 (Transfer) Claim ID:MHBAN999310051510130056482 approved for payment through cheque. Pmt under process"
My UAN account is yet to receive this transferred fund from previous PF account.

Seriously I must say this is the most pathetic service. How many days more you would take to transfer my hard earned money from my one PF Account to another. In this transit process, I would loose out the interest money which I could have earned. This is online transfer right ? Those process should be automatic with a quick turn around/response time with minimal manual intervention. Or is it like, you are going to withdraw money manually from one PF Account & then load it to the other PF Account penny by penny. Really difficult to understand the delay for this inter office cash flow/transfer. I could see above a lot of grievances above who has been waiting for more than 10-11 months even.

Please look into this and initiate my PF transfer. More than 4 months is over now.

Register a grievance at http://epfigms.gov.in/ with all the details. They will respond quickly about the status of your PF transfer request.

They will send you Annexure-K pdf file, if the amount is successfully transferred. Then, please forward that Annexure K file to your employer ( as a proof). They will help you out.

Regarding my online PF transfer, claim status says :”Your request is in Transit between EPFO Out and In Office” .

Previous employer confirmed that the cheque has been dispatched to REGIONAL PROVIDENT FUND COMMISSIONER-CHENNAI in the favour of my current employer.

Hi Venkateswara Reddy,

I have gone through the same, when I did my PF transfer. It took almost 4 months for my PF transfer to happen. But still the status is same as you :) Most of the times the transfer would have already happened but online data may not be updated.

I suggest the below steps for any one with status : 'Your request is In Transit between EPFO Out and In Office'

Step1: Give a missed call to [protected] - You get a reply from PF office with your PF balance amount. By seeing the balance you can make out if transfer has happened or not.

If you find no transfer happened then Step 2.

Step 2: Wait for at least 4 months. Check the PF balance again as told in Step1. if you see no progress, go to step 3.

Step 3:
Go to http://epfigms.gov.in/HomePage.aspx?csession=NAR6Lrscedc&.

Register Grievance . DO NOT FORGET to include UAN in your complaint. You will receive a prompt response form the PF office. You will also receive a acknowledgement of this complaint to your email box which includes Person of contact in your PF office with his /her email id and phone number.

Wait for their reply. You need to go to http://epfigms.gov.in/ to check status with your Registration number, reply will not come to your mail box.

Step 4: In case the reply does not satisfy you. please reach out the person of contact on phone or email ID. If nothing works then step 5.

Step5: Last option is to make a personal visit to the PF office and talk to the person. :) Sorry, but that is all I know.

Do not jump the gun, it is pretty simple just start with step 1. For all those who are lazy, Just sit back and relax, Money is always safe with PF office. It keep earning interest irrespective of transfer status and some day transfer will be done for sure. :)
