FIAT INDIA AND HYSON MOTORS THRISSUR


Bought new fiat punto active 1.2 to consecutive complaints in row

Now i have strong feeling that i got cheated....lot of complaints in row....
As becos of break complaints i am very much frightened to drive...
After making Payment Sales manager didnt allowed me to inspect or see the car which am going to buy
After long waiitng and pressure they allowed but they showed different car and delivered another one(we noted the MCA number),they pushed for home delivery.
On home delivery No petrol in car on delivery and car got stucked in road side(first day)
Car already driven 70+ kilometers(we clearly doubt this car is simply the old test driivng car or refurbished which is simply cheated us withotu even allowing us to inspect at yard

1.Alignment and alarm problem in first day took accident---took 15 days for replacement--driven car wirhotut mirror
2.Rust in different parts and noticed to executive
3.wiper motor complaint---took 12 days for replacement
4.Mileage shortage
5.Missed break 3 time and slightly escaped from accident during ernakulam trip
6.Door Lock problem

I really unhappy with this car and i need money refund or brand new car.Else i am in my way to report this to police,media and followed by consumer court.I do have have company lawyer to do these works now...Already reported this to Fiat motors and they took the complaint seriously and following up now....


fiat people took my complaint and not doing anything favourable...

    Sir, I repent for buying your car punto. first I found the lock system was not error free. The company held the car about 10 days in the workshop. Again I found the battery got off in the midst of a travel. They asked me the gurantee card of the battery and I gave it. Now I am waiting for more than 4 days. I dont know when your dealer will give me back my car. what a shame in the history of car service! Changing the battery is such a big job?.

    The most worse thing is that the language of arrogance by your dealers. In this world of services, I wish to state that I am also a higher executive of a company. But your employees always speak in a technical
    language and not at all customer friendly. I bought this car from your trissur show room of Hyson motors, guruvayoor road. My car no. is kl8 6486.

    For what I did such a sin. Please help me.

    fiat/punto — irritating sound of rear suspension

    i bought fiat punto 5 months back and its rear suspension is making a very irritating sound when in motion.even the service centre experts are unable to rectify the problem,so i request you to take the neccesary action as soon as possible.waiting for your reply

      fiat linea complaint
      respected sir i have purchased fiat linea from dada motors on date 2 feb 2009 and the car is getting big problem with us in 2 years i have sent my car for about 30-40 times for repair not including the scheduled services i send my car and they keep it for 5-6 days when ever we send it the car is then also being not repaired properly my car no. is PB 10 CN 2561 i also want to tel you that it is a big problem for us from the date we have purchased it they hold the car for 5-6 days because they dont have the spare parts Then during first summer season, we faced some cooling problem with the AC. We took the car to dad motors Ludhiana; they said there is little dust in the air filter. They tried to ignore our complaint by saying the AC is working fine, we managed that summer without AC, but during Second Summer season, we faced the same problem. We went to the dealer, they said the compressor needs to be changed, but they are out of stock. It took more than a month for the compressor to reach the dealer. Again we and our patience managed 45 degree Celsius for more than a month. Another month we have to deal without car.iwant to you to take strict action amongst them and want you to get replaced my car or i want to get Also compensatory amount of Rs. 50, 000, 00 which is for the loses I have beard in my business during the period of past two years, days during which the car is with the dealer. And there has been no support by your Dealer in Ludhiana, because of which we have faced a lot of business loss, mental torture and also it has been affecting our reputation.
      I feel my dealer has enjoyed keeping my car for more period than me, .
      I hope the company will understand the problems I have faced from the date of purchase of the car. And I believe the company will act accordingly to maintain strong customer relationships in future.
      Your assistance in this matter will be highly appreciated. Looking forward to your response.

        Fiat sent me an e-mail saying that they are running a Referral Program. If a person refers another who happens to buy a Fiat Grande Punto or a Fiat Linea (any variant) then the original owner gets a Free GPS.

        The SMS instructions were sent but there is no acknowledgement or any phone call to me or to the referral.

        When Fiat cannot fullfill such requirement then why does such false pragramme.

        When i followed up with Helpdesk team asking for a Unique ID they say that there is no programme running as such... no one there has any direction.
        Again today when i called the Helpdesk they say hung up stating that 15th Jan was the last day while I sent the message on 23rd Dec.

        Suggest fait owners not to spend time on such programs.

          I have got linea emotion pack 1.3mjd (KL02 AE 8424)from Kulathunkal Trivandrum on July, 2010. Since day of purchase, some sort of sound is being produced from front, (even when engine is off - while shaking) and the oddmeter compartment is hanging and loose. For this purpose I have given the vehicle 6 times (INCLUDING TWO SERVICES), and each time they were not able to rectify and EACH TIME they returned the vehicle with full of stains AND NEW PROBLEMS.After second service the front grille is broken and they are not replacing it and claiming for lame excuses that part is not available Now the vehicle have reached 17000 kms. I have also being waiting for the side mirror for one month and I didnt receive it.
          After such a waiting and effort I am forced to file such a complaint due their ridiculous nature.

          Please do the needful.

            I had bought a FiatLiea emotion pk Petrol in novemeber 2010. reg no. HP17C 8888
            i like the car overall but the build quality disappoints at time and this is worsened by the poor servcie centres.
            I had some issues with parts and I had lodged a complaint with Fiat and Oberoi motors, Oberoi Motors Dehradun some weeks back . The shocker of the front driver seat is damaged from the starting when delivery was made to us. I visited thrice but everytime it was not available and they were supposed to call back for the same to replace it but they havent-
            Being a business man i need my car regularly for my work, I cannot leave my car at the sevice centre again and again.

              My Name is Siddhish Mittal. I bought Fiat Palio (MH12 FK-7115) from B.U. Bhandari, Abhimanshri dealer in August 2009. Most surprisingly, the accelarator cable of the car broke after about 4 months of run. This happened in the middle of the night causing immense problems to me.
              I got it repaired at B.U. Bhandari service center, wakad. They repaired it and assured me that this will not be repeated.
              However, the car cable broke again after three months.
              It was repaired again at the same service center and they again gave me double assurance that they have checked everything and it will never happen again.
              However their claim went bust when the same cable broke again after three months.
              This is a big problem and can cause severe accidents. I have just been lucky that all the three times it has broken within city limits and at low speeds and I did not get into any accidents.

              Now after the third time, I find that B.U. Bhandari is not the authorised service center anymore and they say that no responsibility lies with them.

              I demand the replacement of the entire car.

                Sir,

                I bring it to your kind notice that I (Aman Mehta) bought Fiat punto( CH 01AC 6899) from Joshi auto zone Industrial Area 1 Chandigarh in April 2010. The delivery of the car was having diffective tyres or some other problem with the working of the car was delivered to me. Now the said dealor is not paying any attention to the problem which I have been reporting to them for the last more than two weeks .

                I am sad to say that such a poor service of the dealor is bringing bad name to Tata Motors company. I once again request that immeditate attention should be taken to meet the problem I have been facing with this car.

                If no immediate remedial measure is taken, I may be forced to take the complaint to the consumer court.
                ( Please note that they called me to office 5 or 6 times but inspite of that they wasted my time and did absolutely nothing)

                  I have received only two papers till today, these are VEHICLE CHALAN & INSURANCE PAPER (Attached With Attachment) after 13 days of purchasing the vehicle while I had made full payment.

                  I want to tell you that after making so many phone calls regarding Original Bill & Registration Paper, I got nil response from the dealer. They always tell that they will do this complete in one or two days. But the problem is that they are pretending since abt. 25 days regularly. Due to such type of carelessness I am suffering a huge loss as abt Rs. 1,500/ per day average (as I hiered a vehicle form a travel agency it costs abt. 1,500/- per day average) and also intrest loss over my capital for one month.

                  So this is requested you to please look into the matter and do the needful at earliest to manage my losses and also tell the dealer to refund the my losses till the issue resolved.

                      Myself mr gulam mohammed i had brought a palio stile diesel car in the year jan 2009 thinking fiat palio is the best car n indeed it is the best car .but this south goa fiat dealer is the worst.car had the little sound when i went to do the first servicing but they told me that it will b ok after some running of the car .then after second service n third service i had told them sound is more n little smoke coming out of the cylancer was coming . then they told that they have rectified it and soon after few days vehicle started jerking no pick up and then i fixed an appointment and went for servicing after me telling them the problem they told me that they will give me the car within 3 hours.and after tthat when i went to ask is my car ready they r telling me that sir u r is having some problem we will have to open the engine n it will take some time. i was shocked i tols them that my car is hardly done 31000 kms .then i asked them how many time it will take they told me we cant tell that. is it a way to treat customers they sometimes r not even bothered .i just started my car n came back after few kilometers when i was reaching home thick and more smokes started coming from the cylancer luckily any how i reached home n now the car is kept in a private workshop.this way fiat cars no body will buy n this so called dealers will surely spoil the name of fiat company. so i request the company plz look into this matter n take some action againast the so called dealer.

                      Fiat has planned whole manufacturing in such a way that problems start arising as soon as warranty period is over, you start thinking why you have not purchased wrong vehicle, i strongly recommend all persons who are planning to buy any product from fiat, you will always feel ashamed of this product

                      hi Jatinder,

                      i would not agree that fiat designs cars that tend to breakdown after warranty period is over. even with todays technology, we cannot design a machine to self destruct at a particular time, unles some kind of timer is placed in it.

                      fiat, with Stile Diesel, made some errors, which resulted in catastrophic proportions (see my reply to your complaint). a design defect in a small clamp leads to engine and turbine unit failure. they should've testd more and adapted it with Indian conditions. you and me and many more have suffered a lot and nothing that fiat says or does can replace the pain and mental suffering we went through. but trust me it has cost fiat tremendously. no company, especially such well renowned brands like fiat, purposely do such things.

                      i have lived abroad for a fairly long time of my life and have owned / driven fiat products for many memorable good years. sadly with Stile, i haven't had the same experience.

                      nevertheless, they are a good brand with some failures. of'course Toyota and Honda beat fiat in the Indian market by their dependability. however the driving pleasure is different factor.

                      i hope they will serve you well...

                        sir, i bought fiat palio style three years back, i am very much suffring after buying this car, complaints are as follows-:

                        1. Car`s is not at all good, it stop working at 40 to 45 digree temprature.
                        2. problem is there with the tyres have changed it.
                        3. cluch is very hard, and no service is being done.
                        4. car is making unwanted noise.

                        I am continuesly complainin its service center but no action or temprory action is being tacked.

                        Please help.

                          i mr gulam mohammed from vasco brought a fiat palio stile in jan 2009. thinking fiat is the best car n indeed it is a good car but tehe tata motors dealer in margao city dissapointed me. after the first service n when i was going for the second service i had told them tat my car is giving some strange sounds and even after telling that they told me that it is ok n it will go, i had also told them that i am getting little smoke from the cylancer but they told me itc all been rectified n car will b ok.but after few days vehicle started giving jerks n it used to stop.so after taking appointments when i took the vehicle they told me it will b done within two hours but after sometime they told me cthat engine is got some problem n it has to open i was shocked i told them tat car is hardly done 31000 kms but they were not bothered n i asked them when can i get my car back tat time they told we cant say how how many days it will take.i told them tat i will never step into this workshop again.they being a dealer they r spoling the name of the fiat company n the best thing is yhat they dont even have aproper mechanic. and after tat when i started my car from the workshop to come back home after few kilometers havy thic smoke started to come from the cylancer n when i reached home n i when to again start the car the car was not starting. after that i have kept my car in a mprivate workshop. i m really fed up with this dealer so i request to company to take some neccesary action of this so dealer,

                            important information abt the ECU or the code system in palio slx or all fiat cars..........when u purchase one u pay almost 30 to 40 thousand for that ECU.........the unit doesnt allow anyone to steal ur car even if they managed to duplicate ur key........every card has a specific code or a number so whn u put the right key (the red one), the ECU pumps the petrol or diesel into the ignition if the codes dont match u cant start it.......i lost those red ones actually all three........u need red one to set the code but i knw for sure there is emergency startup procedure that exist for the customer to take the car to the service station, the one where u use the card thing (the card with a password or somethin like that)..........it didnt work in my car.........for months it was jst there.........then i somehow managed to get one of those manuals from service station that fiat give to tata people for servicin........each service station has that........anywys since the emergency startup didnt work i had to buy another one, the entire unit for 30 thousand........whn i checked the master key the red one for the chip that should be embedded there was none so i decided to sue both the guys.....the ones who suck at servicin and the ones who sold faulty spare parts.......its been more than a year now our law system sucks.........so i[censored] own a fiat car please check ur ECU unit u payed almost 30 thousand for that whn u buy a car......i[censored] need a copy of the manual or info abt the ECU stuff mail me to [protected]@hotmail.com.......cheers

                              After purchasing punto 1.2L there were many manufacturing defects
                              1. There was door lock problem the day I took the delivery
                              2. Golves box lock was not working
                              3. There was gap on left side of dicky.
                              4. Non availibility of spares and accessories

                              Eventhough these pproblems were rectified latter but I to visited service stations 4-5 times (as it was my first car and couldnot identify these manufacturing defects at one go).
                              When I tried to write my experience at their website I found that their icon "help desk" is not working properly (I could not submit my complain)

                              What I want know from fiat is that "is there any QA/QC check in their production or not?"

                                I bought Fiat Palio Stile Multijet SDX on Nov. 7th 2008.The blunder mistake of my life. Other than many complaints once the clutch cylinder, self- ( Ignition Starter ) , twice the condensor of AC have been changed but still AC is noicey and gear shifting was too hard. Speedo meter was not working for 4 months.Now for almost 3months its decorating the Truimph Motors faridabad( Totally Breakdown). But no responce from TATA and Fiat poeple Rajeev Kapoor CEO ,Mangesh Service Head, Tarun Grover and Ravi Agarwal.

                                Now I am moving to Consumer Forum. I will claim for refund and compensation. I am having the evidences of Desgin Failures .
                                All the victims are invited to join me .

                                car was booked for 3 times and sent back because of lack of mechanics and trained staff hind motors chd not yet able to solve the prob

                                  1. Wheel alignment and Balancing was not done properly resulting in rattling of the vehicle above 80 km/hrs speed.
                                  2. Noise was observed when the vehicle rpm meter crossed over 20,000 reading.
                                  3. Left front door Lock was not Ok and the vehicle could not be locked from outside. Even the working was not sure when locked from inside.
                                  4. Bonnet was not opening the cord connecting the lever from inside was slipped.
                                  5. Door settings were not proper, and I had to bang the doors to ensure proper locking.
                                  6. Rear suspension is too hard whenever the vehicle goes over a bump there is a banging noise.
                                  7. Padding inside the bonnet where a rubber strip is fixed was lying outside the liner.
                                  8. Rear seats where not locking after opened and flattened the lock was not taking its self position.
                                  9. Indicator stick is not functional up to the mark as the indicators are not keeping blinking even after the turn is completed.
                                  10. The vehicle is pulling to left side.
                                  11. Door opening indication is only functional for the front driver side door only.
                                  12. Rear windows require a lot of strain for opening and closing.
                                  13. Front door strip is damaged and was told that it requires a complete replacement.
                                  14. The wind screen wiper tank is leaking and water does not stay for long period.

                                    I took delivery of my car Fiat LINEA EMOTION Diesel on 06 Aug 10, from Goldrush Sales & Service Ltd, Lucknow.
                                    Chassis No 17415.
                                    Engine No 82114.
                                    The car was damaged prior to sale, which I did not realise at time of purchase. I have written many mails to Tata-Fiat and to the agency, but I have not received any response addressing my problem. Sales head of dealership, contacted me, he refused to accept that the car is damaged and has not addressed the real issue, in fact he was misleading. I am attaching photos which I have sent to him, which clearly show DENTING AND REPAINTING WORK to cover DAMAGED PARTS on left front door.
                                    The dealer had taken advance for booking the car and assured me a fresh piece. When i took delivery, SPEEDOMETER CABLE WAS DISCONNECTED. The dealer could not show me details of whether car was a freshly received piece, as assured, and showed a forged entry of PDI date.
                                    I am deeply anguished for having been cheated by the dealer.
                                    The car has following problems
                                    (a) Layer of paint is peeling-off from below the rubber beading on outer side of front left door and older layers of paint are clearly visible (as seen in Photo 1 attached)
                                    (b) Wrenching marks on mounting bolts of door (as seen in Photo 2 attached).
                                    (c) Misalignment of door panels (as in photo 3 attached).
                                    (d) Paint smears on stem of left rear-view mirror (as in Photo 4 attached).

                                      I Sameer Lakdawala proud to own a fiat brand car – Fiat lenis, this is the first time I have prchases a car of FIAT but I really Dont even have a words to explain the pain I have gone through at the time of my second free service.

                                      It was pathetic, unprofessional, irresponsible and the worst service someone can ever get .

                                      Wasan motors and their staff are the definition o[censored]nprofessionalism.

                                      I had personally given my car for second free service on 23/9/10 for basic service as I was told that pickup for servicing is not available , Only complain was that the door rubbers were not fitted properly , the rear wheel arch were supposed to be changed , dickey was not closing property so necessary adjustment need to be done and the songs were repeating when I was using pen drive .

                                      I was in no hurry to get my car within one day but I was committed by the service advisor to get my car picked on the same day.

                                      In the evening when I reaches the workshop, I was told that it is not possible to give the car today and was also informed that the parts that were supposed to be changed ie:door rubber and wheel arch are not available with them . I was also informed that my music system is not working properly and it has been changed. Surprise to know that just the songe were repeating and for thet the whole system need to be changed , I had no problem as my car was under warranty. I was also informed that blue and me will not work as the computerized paring is not yet done

                                      I had no other option to take my car without my work getting done.(Unsatisfied experience) I was promised by the service advisor Narendra from Wasan chembur br that they will call me within 2to 3 days once the parts are available for replacementment.

                                      Immediately after that service i started facing new problems like door locks were not opening sometime, blue and me was not operating. I thaught I will inform them once I will get the call from them for the parts replacement.

                                      No one was interested in calling me later nor was the service advisor picking me calls. Then after few days on 1/10/10 I personally took my car and dropped at the service centre .

                                      Later the rubber was changed and blue and me were solved but the wheel arch was still not available and they promised me that they will call me once the same is available. Its a mth now and on one is bothered th call me yet.(second instance o[censored]nprofessionalism)

                                      Immediately after picking my car on 2rd after I picked the car from the service centre , My front window glass were not working properly so I went back again and showed them . they told me that it need to be replaced and I will have to wait for at least 1 hour, I was ok but then I end up waiting waited for 3hours just to get the window grinder changed.

                                      After 3 hours I was told that the part (grinder) which they were changing was not lenias part it was Tata manza part . I had no other option then to take mt car without getting my problem solved

                                      As usual they again promised me that as soon as the window grinder is available they will call me ,.I had no other option to take my car, in the midway car got stopped in the middle of the road and was not starting , I tried calling my service advisor and as usual he dint picked my call , I tried to figure out what went wrong, a local technician checked my car and informed me that the battery wire was not fitted properly - nut was not placed on the battery wire and so the current was not flowing properly.


                                      Even today i tried calling the service adviser Narendra but he was not picking my call.

                                      What do i do ? I m working for a multinational bank I really dont get time to go every now and then for resolving the new new problem created by the service centre.

                                      I have wasted at least INR 2000/- travelling for getting my car serviced and resolving its new problems but till date I am unsatisfied and my problems are not yet solves

                                      Request you to pls help me resolving my problems at earliest and also request you to take an action on the service centre and their staff for the trauma and the pain and the monetary loss I have gone through.

                                      I also own two other car - Honda city and Hyundai santro and the service they have given is mind blowing .Same is expected from the brand like FIAT.

                                      If my problems are still not resolved then I might give share my experience in the news paper and You tube. If needed I will also approach consumer court for the same.

                                      I had my Punto car to service at Bhagyodaya motors for is very bad service In hospet.Actually my car service complaint not completed.Same condition had been hand over to me, their after myself Inspected the car but there is no changes in my car.there after I found the staff are very negated of service, I have wasted Rs 414/- and time. I am unsatisfied of service Please take action to Bhagyodaya motors at Hospet, Bellary (Dist) Karantaka

                                        we had bought a linea emotion from local dealr of fiat india. the car met with an accident in transit from gauhati to agartala. my pleas to the insurance company fiat india or dealer could not elicit any response. the insurance was done by fiat itself. ultimately today i am landed with a repaired car instead of a new car. the extent of damange can be understood that earlier an estimate of 9 lacs was given by the dealer it has been more than three months not a single word either from fiat india or any bodyeven the ceo has such thick skull that i could not get any response from him.
