Respected Sir,
I, (M.Balamurugeswaran), a resident of 27/1c, 1st floor, navalar high rd, devaraj nagar, saligramam, chennai - 93 own a fiat punto. Since i do not have a dedicated parking, i park my vehicle on the road side where
other vehicles are also parked like scorpio,hyundai accent are also parked.
The flat secretary of the flat where it is parked has attempted to break the glass of the car, has scratched my car doors and also throws coffee powder daily on the roof and glass of the car.
When i asked with the rest of the residents there, they verbally gave a no-objection. I have also registered
a complaint with the human rights commission regarding the same since the secretary is threatened to
damage my car in front of Mr.Ashok kumar who came from human rights to enquire the case.
Virugambakkam police station falls in my limit and so i kindly request you to take immediate action against the secretary and allow me to park my car.
The secretary has clearly stated that my car will be damaged if i park it on the road, please enquire the complaint as soon as possible.

    I am Anil Bishnoi from Jaipur Rajasthan, I bought a Fiat Punto Dynamic in august 2011 Regn# RJ-14 CN- 0468 from KAMAL & COMPANY, TONK ROAD , JAIPUR which was delivered to me after 17 days of booking while i was promised the vehicle would be delivered with in 7 days. At the time of delivery i found the interior of the vehicle had some back marks on the interior, A pillar covers that are creamy white in color had black marks on it, after asking the sales representative i was told that it is normal and every vehicle has it and i accepted the vehicle. Since the date i bought it i have been facing the following issues some of them are way too critical and unacceptable.

    The car was running fine until 3rd June when the car just didnt start at all, starting motor was not working at all. After trying the key for 7 to 8 times the car eventually started. I took the vehicle immediately to the service station where i was told that the starting motor is faulty and needs to be replaced i was told it will be replaced under warranty, but as it was not in stock i was told it would take 7 to 8 days for the starting motor to arrive and till that time I should deal with the problem. That was on 3rd June and my starting motor has not been replaced yet. The starting motor works intermittently, making the car unreliable and unsafe to travel with family. Even after contacting the service station multiple times Kamal and Company is not responding at all or my calls are put on hold and no body answers for as long as half an hour.

    Recently i noticed drastic drop in power and acceleration, when i opened the hood up i noticed the blow by pipe which joins the Induction pipe from airfilter into the turbo was out of place and none of the bolts that hold airfilter were on place, technically the car was breathing without airfilter, letting the dirt and sand into the turbo then to intercooler and eventually to the engine. When I checked the engine oil it was thicker and full of dirt. The car is now giving blue smoke, which means the engine oil is entering the combustion chamber and the engine is gone! If the bolts were not left out intentionally they were out because of extreme carelessness from the service staff of the Kamal & Company Service Station. After talking to a staff of another service station i was told i need to rebuild the engine! even after buying a new car which has done only 15 thousand kilometers and in less than a year i will be driving a car with a faulty engine and unreliable to travel with my family.

    With all my attempts to lodge a complaint against the dealer, the customer executive was telling me the servers are down and the complaint can not be logged. I have lost all faith in FIAT and TATA AFTER SALES i feel cheated and this treatment is unacceptable. I have tested and used the European version of this vehicle which tempted me to buy it when i got back to home land. After spending a big amount of my hard earned money I get a vehicle which has blown its engine before clocking 20 thousand mark because of nonsense unprofessional attitude and carelessness of the after sales team. I feel cheated at all fronts, be it the after sales team or the customer support service.

      a fiat punto car sold to me by fiat has very very poor pickup at second gear which is a safety concern while driving to hill stations and driving through traffic jams.this car is not fit as per indian conditions.
      all the other cars of the same price category sold in this country don,t have this issue.
      the car also has very poor average ,making this a deal of frustration for me. no value nor performance.
      i have invested 5 lacs and it is now affecting my health.

        i have purchased a Fiat Linea Car in September 2009 and have availed the extended warranty at that time.
        as of today my car has done mileage of 48000 kms and i have faced the spare part problem quite frequently and now i am regretting my decision to buy a Fiat Car.
        couple of days back the AC of the car stopped working and i had to visit their Service Centre located near me - Cargo Motors Ltd, BSF chowk Jalandhar , they checked the vehicle and took about 3-4 hours, they didnt bothered to call me and inform me of the problem in the car and after calling at all their numbers for half an hour the service guy informed me that the AC's High pressure pipe has busted and they will require to change it , but that is not currently available and will take atleast 15 days for the replacement.
        on inquiring about the part being covered in extended warranty they informed that they cannot comment on that unless they receive the part and give exact amount of the part to claim the extended warranty.
        What they have quoted me is Rs 2800/- (two thousand eight hundred ) for The pipe and Rs 2000/- ( two thousand ) for AC gas as the gas was leaked due to the damaged pipe.
        upon asking them that it was not my fault that the pipe got damaged and leaked the Gas , why should i bear the Rs 2000 for replacement of Gas, there was no satisfactory answer by them.
        Also , everyone is very well aware of the current weather conditions in Punjab right now and it is not possible to drive the car without AC these days, how am I suppose to drive this car with AC not working. i have purchased the Car for Rs 8.00 lacs and the service they are providing is not 1% worth of the car value. I dont have any spare cars in my family which i can use for my daily work and in current situation i am regretting my very decision to have bought this car.
        I am very well aware that i can get the AC fixed from workshops other than the authorised ones at 50% less but the Service centre has clearly mentioned that if i did so my extended warranty will be voided.
        i am currently in no position to take the decision and it is very hard for me to daily work due to non-working of AC.
        I would request you to kindly contact FIAT car company and inform them to resolve this issue at the earliest.

          Hi,

          I am writing this email with great disappointment and a lot of grief.

          This is regarding my Fiat Linea (MH12FY9312) which unfortunately was met by an accident in March 2012 and the experience (pain & misery are right words) that I went through in getting my car back.

          The accident took place on 14 March and it had involved 4 cars which got hit front and back (multi shunt accident). My car was the last in the pack, hence only frontal damage. We were not driving at more than 40 kmph, but unfortunately the front cars braked at the last minute and I had to hit the car in front as it came to a standstill on the spot.

          I called up Bajaj Alliance (my insurance company) and was advised to take it to Pandit Auto at Sahakar nagar (this is 30 KM away from my home and 18 KM away from my office). I didn’t realize then what a pain it will be, but the fact that I will get a cashless claim done was a priority on my mind.

          I took the car the very next day at 11 am and had to wait for several hours before I was able to get hold of someone who will take over my car, do paperwork and explain me the process. I was then met by Amir, who was being given the responsibility to fix my car. He made a job card and on the job card, he conveniently crossed all sides of the car showing damages. When I questioned him, at that point he said well there are very minor scratches everywhere, hence he is doing so. I thought this was a routine and did not object any further (though my car was in top condition, leaving the frontal side which was damaged [have pictures and witnesses who will pledge my car condition was top class]).

          I was informed that they cannot open the car up, hence the extent of internal damage to the car would not be assessed till a surveyor comes and takes a look at the car and only in his presence the car will be open.

          This was a beginning of a new era of frustration and disgust, as I tried co-ordinate between the engineer and the surveyor (Gajanan). After a few days the surveyor managed to get to the site and the car was finally opened. I was still not told total cost of damage and my share but permission was taken (in writing) to open the car. Later I was told that there may be compressor or AC unit damage and need to be tested. I said fine and this testing took couple of weeks.

          It’s mid April and I was told that the airbag sensors of the car may be damaged and the seat belt (both driver and passenger side) were locked, hence they need to be tested to see if this needs replacement. I was given no quote again as compressor, airbag sensor and seat belt testing was pending. All this information was made available by not proactively calling me, but only when my call got connected and that too after several attempts, I would get hold of Amir on this (after every 10 calls, one call he would answer. Please note he NEVER called me back or called me proactively to give an update. It was always me who was chasing him).

          I was told that the sensor testing cannot take place at Sahakar Nagar service centre, as the testing equipment is not there and needs to be taken elsewhere (Tilak Road centre). I informed Amir that I will be traveling aborad from end of April and coming back by 2nd May and at that time he assured me that the car will be done and delivered. This is just about a month of not having a car in a city like Pune where there is absolutely no reliable mode of public transportation.

          On my return on 2nd May, I called Amir to get a status on my car delivery (he obviously answered after the 5th attempt I made). He mentioned that my cars sensors are yet to be tested. I was furious; I asked him that this was due two weeks ago, so what happened? For that he replied that the head lights are not fixed yet and hence he cannot take it out on the road, to take it to the other service centre. I was so disheartened to hear this. I asked him when the front lights will be fixed, he mentioned that Fiat always has spare parts problem so he can’t say and he will check with the store manager. This opened another mode of communication as I had to talk daily with Asfaq, the store manager and provide updates to Amir and Gajanan (the surveyor). IS THIS MY JOB TO COORDINATE?

          Please note that at this point it is over a Month and a half and I still have no clue about how much it will cost me. And quite frankly I had no other option but to get the repairs done at Pandit Auto ONLY (though I was getting very tempted to take my car away).

          A few weeks later I got a confirmation that the sensors needed to be changed and the seat belts as well (which made my share enormously high). I said fine; just give my car back (I almost pleaded). This is when I was told that the compressor and other AC unit needed to be changed and those parts have been changed by Fiat. Hence we will need to put a modification approval to FIAT to approve it. I followed up daily for 2 weeks and the same status was given to me over and over again (I am still talking to all three separately- Asfaq on modification approval, Amir on car delivery and Gajanan for my repair cost and my share). I was told that if approval is not received they will have to add it to the repair cost and I will have to pick it up (the 50% that applies). So I decided to keep shut and continue to wait.

          Third week of May, I called Amir and I asked him to give my car, for which he said let’s wait two more days if no reply is received Pandit will pick up the cost and give my car back. This is when I was shared with the actual repair cost and my share amount (17 May 2012). It was confirmed to me on 18 May that I can take the delivery of my car on Saturday 19 May 2012. I was happy that at least I was getting my car back. I was told I can come and take delivery anytime between 1 and 5 pm. I showed up at the service centre at 4:00 pm and it took several minutes to locate Amir and for him to attend to me. I was then showed the file and asked to do the payment, by then I was told my car is getting washed. I did the payment of my share, which was INR 33297/- paid through credit card.
          When I went to take my car, I was shocked. It was in such a mess and ruined state. It had several scratches on the entire body on all the sides. Deep scratches, stone marks (small stones flown and hitting car marks), small dents all over. When I asked Amir, he said there is no space in the service centre and hence many cars are kept out on the road. My car was out in the summer heat on the road for TWO FULL MONTHS. The state my car was in made me cry. To ruin my happiness completely, I saw that the bonnet and the bumper which were replaced were only painted and not polished (the surface was rough and not polished). I brought to Amir’s notice and he instructed someone to do a hand polish (who I felt was a complete rookie and had no clue on polishing or doing such stuff). It was close to 5:30 pm and I was still waiting as this person was trying to cut corners and kept telling me every 5 minutes that is this enough. Obviously the car was looking ugly as it was not looking polished (or even colored). I could feel the hard surface. In my effort to show him an area that he missed, I observed something which blew my mind away. There was a crack on the bumper, just under the right side head light. I saw that and I said COME ON… IS THIS FOR REAL? THIS ESTEEMED COMPANY (and I mean both TATA and FIAT) is about to give me a car with a cracked bumper? I thought it was just a bad nightmare, but it wasn’t. I am glad I saw it there and if I would’ve driven my car away and came back (even after 5 minutes), everyone would have refused to accept that it was their fault.

          I showed it to Amir and he in turn went and told it to the manager. They assured me that they will replace the bumper at no extra cost (like I was ready to pay extra cost) and I can come any time after 21 May. I requested if it can be done same day (as I stay 30 KM away), however they said it’s too late and Sunday is a holiday, so either I can leave my car or get it later. I was sure not leaving my car there ever again. So I took the car home and requested if the bumper can be made ready and I will get back on 26 May (which was a Saturday and my work off day) and get the bumper fixed with minimum time at the service centre.

          I went back there on 26 May and my bumper was fixed (as promised) in 2 hours. I just waited at the lounge (so called lounge). Post the bumper was fixed; car was washed and handed over to me to be taken away. As I started to drive the car, I saw a light that came on. I called up Amir again and showed it to him, who showed it to a technician. There was a tail light bulb which for some reason stopped functioning and was changed. I realized that the KM reading was blinking (something which was not happening when I gave my car for repair on 15 March 2012. I was told by Amir that I will have to take my car to Tilak road Pandit Auto and get it fixed there. All he did was gave me a landline number, which no one has answered will date, leave alone that day. I called up Amir again and he said just show it during your regular servicing and they will fix it (which is due in July/August). I said ok and drove off. So it took more than 2 months to get my car fixed and get it back in the shape it was in (15 March 2012 – 26 May 2012).

          Even after all this I was positive that at least I got my car back. Though I spent a lot of money (which frankly I doubt what all got changed and the charges), I still have this beautiful car that I love. The accident happened due to no fault of mine, plus the money I spent (INR 33k), plus not having a car in a city like Pune and daily commuting by auto rickshaw, which was very costly affair, I had to do a 3M treatment for my car costing INR 4k to get rid of small scratches (however deep scratches still exist)… I was ready to put it behind me and move on.

          But I am unable to move on. On 5th June, when it first started to drizzle, I realized that my car vipers were not working. I had to take it to a garage to show it and they said the wiring done on the car was all wrong. The rear power windows were not working as well. The left rear one had stopped working and the right rear one was reversed (if I press the button for down, it goes up and vice versa). I called up Amir and he didn’t answer my phone. I had to request the garage guy to fix only the vipers as they were charging me more than INR 1200/- to fix everything. I paid INR 300/- for the vipers and drove off. I kept calling Amir to discuss the issue with him and seek advise, he never picked up the phone or called back. On 6th June I realized that my Blue and Me is also not working. It is not detecting my phone which was paired earlier. I tried to pair it again, it got paired but not able to hear any calls. It gets connected, but I can’t hear the person through speakers and nor I am able to talk handsfree. I have to disconnect blue and me and talk on the handset.

          My heart is completely broken. I unfortunately had to travel to Europe from 9th June and have returned yesterday, 25th June. I am still finding flaws in my car daily.

          So here I am, who has gone through an accident (with no fault of mine), paid INR 33k, stayed without a car for more than 2 months, wasted a lot of money on rickshaw on daily commute (if you are aware about Pune transportation system, you will empathize with me), fully co-ordinated this repair work, spending INR 4000 for the 3M body treatment and finally got my car with flaws.

          By now you would have known the level of frustration and torture I have gone through because of the service that your company has provided me. When I bought the car, the promise that was made around quality of service that will be provided was a clear lie and eye wash.

          I love the car, and that was the only thing which made me not select a Honda City or any other car, but obviously in time I have been proven wrong. I feel like a fool to have rejected Honda City or a Toyota/Hyundai car.

          Moreover, I had convinced my three friends into buying Punto and Manza (2 Punto and 1 Manza cars) in the last 2 years. Who God forbid have to go through this experience will break all ties with me.

          I am a very busy man and to write this email meant to spend a lot of time out of my working schedule. However, I wanted to vent my frustration and bring it to your notice of what I have been through in the last 3 months.

          I am trying desperately hard to sell this car now, but as you would be aware, no one wants to buy a Fiat car; for the reasons you would find very clear in my email.

          Going forward, not only I am going to stop recommending FIAT and TATA cars/products to my family (close and extended), friends (and their friends), colleagues (and people they know) and anyone else (even strangers), but will also ensure as many people get to know about my experience so they stay as far away possible from these two brands.

          My service for Fiat Linea is due in July/August and if I am being told that the KM reading is blinking, electrical problem or any other issue is because of some fault and a part needs to be replaced and I will be charged, I will go to consumer court on this one. Not to mention I will make sure I put a PAID article in newspapers as well.

          My blind love for this car has got me into this trouble and I sincerely hope I will never ever be associated with a FIAT or a TATA brand.

            I went to Joshi Auto Zone for warranty repair for my clutch and door latches in may , my normal two years warranty was up till 3rd June 2012, they temporarily fixed my clutch and told that one of the door latches were not available, when i called them after few days they gave me appointment for 7th June, I told the lady that this date is beyond my warranty date, I called her on 1st of June, She said that's OK as the issue has been reported within warranty time, when I went to service station they replaced the door latch but still didn't fix the clutch, and told me to pay the charges for the latch. When i refused as I reported the issue within warranty time they did not deliver me the car. I told them that I also have Extended warranty they told me that this issue is not covered under extended warranty whereas it is nowhere mentioned in the warranty book. I also paid for the glow plugs which were covered under warranty as per the book in December.
            I want Replacement of the parts within warranty , refund of charges which I paid in December 2011 for glow plugs.

              I recently purchased a Fiat Punto car (23/05/12) from Prerana Motors, Bangalore expecting high quality from an international brand. Sadly, the vehicle is not upto the mark. Severe vibrations were experienced in the very first week o[censored]se and this was attributed to wheel balancing. This was rectified by the service center. But problem still persists, there is still slight vibration at high speeds. Feels like driving an old diesel car. In the third week o[censored]se, there was more problems - loss of power, weird noise in engine, bluetooth stopped working, etc...This time the car was left in KHT motors for repairs and highly dissatisifed by their work (they even stole the USB stick in the car), anyway now, i cant play anything with a usb as it doesnt work.
              Latest problem - more waring messages in the indicator like "Check airbag", etc.
              Fiat have not bothered to respond to my mail still, i sincerely doubt their interests in customer satisfaction, probably dont even know what that is.

                Hi,

                I bought a fiat Palio, from Pandit Automotive Pune, in July 2011, since last 1 week my AC is not chilling & i have been hopping around all other service station, one of authorized Service center named Acumen Moters Bavdhan, Pune , Their workshop lead Mr Umesh, has informed me that although ur vehicle is in warranty company doesn't give any guaranty of AC so i have to get it done by paid facility and he guided me to private AC work outlet.

                Where in the owner of Private AC work outlet informed me that my vehicle is in warranty n i will get free work done in authorized service outlet,

                First of all i request fiat re-preservative to contact me ASAP n get my problem solved. Secondly i request company to take a necessary action against ACUMAN Moters Pune.

                Again im making a request to solve my issue on priority basis before i take another action, which could harm company's after sales services.

                  Dear Sir,

                  I had purchased a Fiat Punto in September 2009, the moment the car was launched in India. I stay in Vadodara and at that time they did not have dealer in Vadodara, hence I bought the car from Auto Point Surat. For more than one year I got my car serviced through Aspi Motors Ahmedabad. Later on Twin Wheels Vadodara got the dealership and I started services my car with Twin Wheels in Vadodara.
                  FIAT has a tie up with TATA MOTORS and their service has always been a problem.

                  I have always had problems in terms of repairs and spares. Spares are never available at the Service Centre. Even after placing a order it takes nearly 4 - 6 weeks to procure spares. I would like to complain about my recent problem.

                  My car was giving a Cracking sound when I turned the steering to Right and on rough roads. I gave my car for service to Twin Wheel and they called me with the problems and solution. They said there was problem with Suspension and Link Road and needed replacement. I inquired if anything wass covered under warranty to which they replied that they did not entertain warranty as FIAT INDIA does not pay TATA MOTORS. This was a ridicuous answer.

                  I had also misplace my Extended Warranty book and was helpless. However I got the details retrieved from AUTO POINT SURAT, who were very helpful. AUTO POINT surat had already made payment to GLOBAL INDIA SYSTEM for my EXTENDED WARRANTY but it was not reflecting on the system. Another lacuna on part of FIAT INDIA / TATA MOTORS & GLOBAL SYSTEM. During all this course of time, my vehicle was serviced and Ashish Bhattacharya of FIAT INDIA told me that Elastic Pads are covered under Extended Warranty. He was following up my case with their Regional team who in turned had handed over the case to Mr. Abhas Rao, CSM TATA MOTORS, who also followed on case and on June 2, said I can collect the car from Service station by paying the full amount and then they will refund me the money for what is covered under Extended Warranty. I trusted him and picked up the car from Service Station and called him on Monday to remind him about Extended Warranty. He said he would revert back to me. However on not receiving any call till Tuesday late evening, I called him, to which he did not answer. After some time he sent me an email and then called me to say that your services are not covered under Extended Warranty. This came in after all the hassle that I was going through from Wednesday, May 30, 2012 to Tuesday, June 5, 2012, after one week.

                  My query to FIAT INDIA and TATA MOTORS is :

                  1) when I gave the car for service my problem was known, and when I asked for what was covered under Extended Warranty that too was known, then why did FIAT INDIA and TATA MOTORS take me for ride for one whole week.

                  I have sent many emails and called many times to Mr. Ashish Bhattacharya / Mr. Abhas Rao. I can prove this through my email print outs and my telephone records. I had also CC'ed Mr. RAVI BHATIA and Mr. RAJEEV KAPOOR of FIAT INDIA. No one had a courtesy to reply back.

                  THE CAR WAS SOLD AND FIAT HAD MADE THEIR PROFIT. SO WHY BOTHER ABOUT THE CUSTOMER.

                  Hello - I own a linea emotion pack (KL30 A9031)which was bought in 2010 from RF motors Cochin. I had issues with rear power windows and was complained during the three service visits I paid to the dealer. I relocated to USA after that. Recently I took the car for service to Marikar, Kottayam and they identified the issue with the PCU and charged me 8400 Rs for replacing the same which should have been fixed during the first service itself within warranty. I am totally frustrated with the vehicle due to the lack of responsiveness from service dealers and I won't advice any of my friends or relatives in buying the same.

                      We have purchased two cars Fiat Linea (Emotion) DL12C3509 on 31.10.2010 . I Sukhvinder Singh using this car from the beginning, it worked very fine for approx. a year and current readinh is 33200 only. Troubles started since the summer started and as I switched on the AC one day it did not work. I Visited the service station “Him Motors Pvt. Ltd. Patparganj Ind. Area, New Delhi” for the car service & to get the AC problem rectified. The service was been done on 21.03.2012 and AC started functioning fine.

                      As per Service head of Him Motors, this model of Fiat car had manufacturing defect (O ring defective), company realize it and committed to replace the same but we have no information about this. As a valuable customer we must get the information through company only.

                      Somehow our car got repaired and handed over to me. I am driving the vehicle for quite a few weeks but the cooling effect was not experienced.

                      Today I had to go for an urgent meeting with my client at 13.00. When I switch ON my car’s AC it worked for ten minutes and then suddenly AC stopped functioning and temperature of car shot up right in the middle of traffic. Message flashed on screen excess heat switch off engine. On opening bonnet of car, I obsevered oil coming out from coolant bottle, which is very strange.

                      I called Fiat HelpLine[protected] and got another number[protected].I was calling from road side under the scorching heat of 40 degree cel. sweating like anything, after sometime got a call from helpline that they can send towing vehicle not the mechanic. I had to reach my client for meeting but unfortunately did not get any help from the FIAT. I felt very disappointing because due to this I lost a good contract deal.

                      Even after spending 18 lac for two cars, we get the feeling that we made a wrong choice as the new car is not the peace of mind. My car is parked on road side with hazards lights on and I came back to office with a disappointed feelling leaving it to the God to handle for now. My car is still under warranty period but having a feeling that it a second hand vehicle as there in regard from the customer. I am totally unaware of the fact that what is going to happen during extended warranty or after the warranty expires. My new car came with defective fuel tank cover which I bought from service center after paying 1200 rupees.

                      I wish to communicate this fact that almost all the TATA service centers show a passive attitude towards their customer when it comes to render services. We request you to take the service issue seriously and change the attitude towards service or every one dis-satified customer will contribute you to loose sales even though both the Fiat model are amazing & beautifull machines having value for money.

                      Bonnet of my car got cracks on its own and might be defective paint but look ugly.

                      Anyways, I will droped my car to the Autolink service centre at vasant kunj on 16.05.2012 and hope that the faulty parts are replaced and hopefully I will get some satisfaction.

                      Awaiting favourable response and replace my car.

                        I didn't have my punto long before the power steering went; It hardly now works at all and is dangerous. I have since heard from various people that they have the same fault and I have been told that this is a problem with Fiat Puntos.

                        To get this fixed would cost more than the car is worth and the fact that this is a manufacturing error should be paid by them. The design/manufacturer of this vehicle should be investigated and rectified.

                          We have a Linea Car and presently it is standing at service centre “Dada Motors”, Ludhiana. We gave our car in last week of December for repair under the accidental case. At starting, they told us that they will repair it within 15-20 days but till now we have not get our car. They repaired our car (denting-painting, service, Door installation, Bumper installation etc.) in mid of February but due to unavailability of some parts (Stereo, Remote Locking system, Bonut Opener etc.) of car, the insurance company is not ready to release the payment to your dealer against our car. The insurance company saying that how we can release the payment without the parts fitting and your dealer is saying that company do not have parts right now. We contacted the dealer several time but every time they gave us the next date for spare parts to come. Even I had sent the mail to the company 2-3 times at [protected]@fiapl.com but till now nothing happened.

                          We are unable to understand that FIAT have parts for manufacturing new cars but they do not have stocks to give supply to their old customers. Now we have got very much frustrated because of unavailability of main parts of car and thinking that we did a very BIG MISTAKE to bought a FIAT CAR because we were not expecting such a bad response from such a big company. Please help us.

                            I had given my Punto car for service on 21.03.2012 at your ECR service centre, chennai for the complaint AC not working.
                            On 23.03.2012, I tried to contact the customer care manager Ilayaraja through his cell number [protected], I was unable to reach him. I contacted Mr Muthu Kumar service advisor he informed me that he’ll talk to Ilayaraja and ask him to call me back. Today 23rd, Time 02:00 PM still fault not found, vehicle idle at the service station. Tried to contact Ilayaraja, he is not picking up the phone.All this inspite os me calling on 21st morning 09:00am and booking an appointment and being promised that we would receive the car today(23.03.2012)
                            We had actually got the car from service for the same problem on 03.02.2012(AC No 15655).Now we land up again. We have already raised a complaint for this. Is this the kind of service you wish to perform for your customers?

                            Fiat punto — spares not at all available

                            fiat punto 1 yr old. rear door glass broke. searching for a new glass 1 wk. no response. service people coolly telling it will take 10 days, that is usual problem, dont know when it will come, horrible people. still searching for glass.
                            Dealers are horrible; customers relation officers, adamant service centres are without spare parts what the use of punto and fiat in toto .I sugest, , correct the above faults, and blame the vehichle.

                              I bought a Fiat Linea Emotion pack Petrol from ABS motors, Sector 29, Gurgaon on 22/03/2010.
                              When I started car first time it took 2 times to start... surprised me but on second time try it started in a click.
                              I took car to my place.... next day morning it took 3-4 times to start. Surprised me and this was a start of taking my brand new car to workshop. It took 5 times form ABS workshop people to fix up my STARTING PROBLEM.

                              2. As car visited 5 times in first 3 months of purchase they changed a lot of parts following a HIT and TRY approach. This caused few new problems.
                              Coolant leakage
                              Check Engine light
                              Lamda sensor
                              Engine miss

                              3. Its been 14 times in past 2 years that my car has visited workshop and still following problem persists
                              ENGINE MISSING PROBLEM (Blinks check engine light)

                              Every time spark plugs are changed problem fixes for 1- 4 months but comes again after that.

                              4. ABS motors also called engineers from Pune to fix my car but...... NO HELP!!!

                              5. Even the resale is so bad that i am not getting even 40% of purchase price (car age is <2 years and 19000 kms running)

                              I agree that all the fixes haven't costed me money but TIME... a lot. taking car to workshop waiting for 2-3 days and bringing it back..... a big pain. I do not trust that my car will ever be fixed... so many visits of my car to workshop has made it a wreck now...engine noise, dash board vibrations, glove box fittings, ac effeciency and smoothness of car is totally lost.


                              I have no other option left now... went to a lawyer to go for consumer court complaint again Fiat.

                              I just wish I get justice..........quite negative on expectations related to car after my experience

                              My Fiat Linea Emotion Pack has completed 87000km of running. The vehicles is maintained perfectly and all the specified services were carried out as per manufacturers recommendation. The front suspension spring has failed twice and clutch was malfunctioning. These spares are covered under the extended warranty clause (page 9 and 10). But the dealer refused to replace these spare under warranty but charged from me. When we complained to the customer care no response and given a contact id of Florina Kamble who is an irresponsible idol of Tata Motors. Tata Motors has learned one practice that they never reply to any of the complaints so that they may not face any legal action. How such a World Class company has appointed such good for nothing service persons who never care for the customer's complaint. Unless they are drawn to court under Consumer Protection Cell they will not learn a lesson. Always the medias talk high about Tatas but practically its a hollow vessel good for nothing employees and officers. Even though it may be a smaller amount I have decided to go for the Consumer Protection Cell to file a case against the Tata Motors.

                                hpcl-diesel — no stock of diesel

                                we want to give a complaint against HPCL at MURTHY SERVICE STATION 11/2 hormavur main road banaswad,krishnaraja puram bangalore.
                                The reason for us to write this complaint against HPCL is because we are not satisfied.We are not getting petrol or diesel in this service station.So we wanted to find out what is the problem between HPCL and the service station.
                                Finally they said that HPCL is not supplying petrol and diesel.we find it very difficult to get petrol in our area.
                                The residents of this area find it very difficult to get the petrol.Please do look into this issue and do solve our problem that we all are facing.

                                India' Pune unit as of now. They did not share this information at the time of booking. Initially when they said that they will immediately bill my car on my name by 14 March 2012.


                                But now when deal has been finalized between them & me. They say that Fiat manufactures only 1 or 2 cars in a day due to which they can not bill the car on my name. I think that is a highly invalid justification for your internal logistics issues. Fiat India is surely not a pigmy company who would deliver only 1 or 2 cars in a day.


                                Post budget the prices are due to increase and I do
                                not want to suffer due to this internal problem of FIAT. I desperately wants some one from the Senior Management of the Fiat India or Dhingra Motors Gurgaon to take a quick & timely action (before the price hike) on this complaint so that I can get my desired car on the price agreed by them at the time of booking.


                                Please note that I have nothing against the dealership but I want some one from the Senior Management of the Fiat India or Dhingra Motors Gurgaon to address my complaint positively before price hike. Please help me if you really care about your customers. I will be highly obliged.

                                  I have purchased Fiat Linia Emotion Pack 6 month back, At the time of purchasing Sales manager told me that service of this Car will be after 20000KM and it will be warn automatically by Car it self, after 6 month I went to Sai Ram Automobiles( Authorised Deler) for service then they gave me service book of my Car and told me that my one service has been laps and advise me to give Car for Second service that is free of cost of labour, by the next day I have given my car for second service. Same day at 5 PM service engineer has called me and told me that service bill is 5900, When I reached to take my car and to make payment of the same, Account department told me to pay all in cash, I was unable to do so because check book, ATM, Credit Card was with me but I didn't have cash that moment. The dealer Point didn't have any facility like ATM, or Swapping or net banking.
                                  After a long discussion and discussion with Linea Customer Care they agreed to take cheque but they did not deliver me my Car and told me that they will give my car after clearing of the Cheque.
                                  Still after clearing of the cheque they even didn't call me to take my car. Still I have not checked what the services they have done.
                                  I have another car that is Maruti Swift and I have always paid the service amount in cheque to Ganapati Motors after service of my car. And Ganapati Motors has always accepted the cheques.
                                  I Strictly wish to Stop this nonsense* and apeel every body not to give cash to any service center because we are not going to a Pan Dukan or Chai ki dukan so that we have to give cash.

                                      I bought a Red Fiat Punto Active Diesel , on 26 Feb 2011, Registered under my Father’s name . Mr Bhaksar Basu, R/O 77 West Arjun Nagar, Agra-282001. With registration number- UP80 BU 8302 , Chassis number MCA 11815E07024384AMZ , Manufacturing year- 04-Mar-2011 from Ashok Auto Sales, Agra Kanpur Road, Agra.

                                      We did take a lot of time, in choosing this car, over the swift, the polo, and the micra. And it topped our expectations, except for the fear of After sales service.

                                      Though overall, content on our purchase, lately the problems faced by us, makes us regret our decision.
                                      I have not clocked even 13000 kms, yet my car has spent more time in the service station then I have driven it, I would like to give a breakdown of my issues.

                                      1. 03-11-11 Car Gone to Ashok Auto Sales, Agra, for service and repairs, Job card number 3476, Received it after a week.

                                      2.The car breaks down in the middle of the highway, on the way to Delhi ,(the problem being the engine tanning belt broke off, and entered the engine.)

                                      3.The car was sent to Auto Link Enterprises , Arjuna Asif ali Marg, Vasant Kunj, New Delhi-110070 on 08-12-11 for repairs, Job card number – JC-AutoLink –VK[protected]. I made a complaint on Fiat helpline on 28-12-12 , complaint number 1-[protected] as no answer came from the autolink people over the situation of the car even after 20days. I received the car after a month on 09-01-12. And the following items were changed under warranty(Alternator Compressor Belt, Rocker, Tappet, Cylinder Head Gasket, Cam Shafts, Oil pump, Seal Gasket).

                                      4.On 14-01-12 The car breaks down on an official trip to Bijnor,UP ( a complaint was launched under the number 1-[protected]) the problem being excessive black smoke coming out, and no acceleration. After calling Mr Rajput from Tata/Fiat , I got emergency assistance at a tata service station in Bijnor,UP and I could finish my trip.

                                      5. On 19-1-12 under the same above mentioned complaint number, the car was sent to Autolink Enterprise, Vasant Kunj again, Job card number –JC-Autolink- VK[protected] for checkup and repairs. I received the car on 21-01-12, evening though the bill given to me was dated 20-01-12, and the rear Shock absorbers, Gasket, Reat Strut were changed.

                                      6.On 27-01-12. Once again my car breaks down at 10pm at night, on an official trip back to Agra, at the middle of the highway. (with the same problem of excessive black smoke coming out, and no acceleration.) After calling the emergency helpline, complaint number-1-[protected]. My car was towed to Tayal tata motors, Faridabad. And I had to take a cab back home at midnight, after being stranded on highway with luggage.
                                      Now my car is kept outside the Tayal tata service station, and I will have to go 20kms from my home to sign on the job card. And wait for god knows how many days.

                                      As u will note, that I have been facing so many problems, with the service. And even after constant checkup, I keep on facing the same problems, and the problems with the car has made me loose a lot of business, as being an interior architect, I have a lot of projects outside delhi, and I constantly need to travel out of station. And lately I have spent a lot of money, on cabs, as for the past three months , my car has stayed in the service station more then I have driven it. I take special care in maintaining my car, as it is a big investment for me, yet I do not understand why am I facing such problems.

                                      Now, I am afraid to use my car, as in the back of my mind, I always have a fear of the car breaking down, in the middle of the road. These mishaps, not only are a huge trouble to me, but make my family members go through a lot of trauma and worry. And all this when my car is not even a year old!!. I feel cheated , and I feel trusting Fiat was the biggest mistake that I have ever done. The constant mockery from friends and family , over the cars total unreliability , and choosing a brand like Fiat over the competition, is an added insult to my injury.

                                        I sent my car for service in TELMOS AUTOMOBILES ,hisar haryana.....where they dont act properly to the customers and there service is so bad,
                                        i purchased my car from there showroom only "telmos hisar", my car having a defect in some exteriors body parts like door body color, doors chrome strips, which i requestd them to change that parts of my car. but they always reply me that we dont have that parts in stocks, i got my cars last one n half year ago but still dont have that parts in stock. my car is in warranty for 4yrs from fiat.
                                        kindly i request you review my complaint as soon as possible.

                                        Fiat Linea car — Service problem

                                        Situation at 12/03/2010 at 10.00 PM

                                        I sent my car on 08/03/2010 for maintenance of my Fiat Linea car in Fortune morors. I received a call from MR sawant, Manager ( May be body shop ) at around 5.45 PM that my car is ready. I told him that i am from Dahanu, which is more than 100 km from Thane and if i send my driver to fortune cars it will take at least 3 hrs, so my driver will come at around 9 PM, Mr Sawant assured me that I will get my car at that time. So on this commitment I send my driver from dahanu at around 6.15 PM to thane, Fotune motors. My driver reached at Fortune motors at 9.05 Pm, but Mr Sawant left without informing me ( customer). At 9.10 PM my driver ranged me to inform that no officer is available at Fortume motors, so my car will not get. Then i rang to Mr Sawant, but, he reply me very rudely maner ( Tumko job hi karana hai karo, mai kuch bhi karne wala nahi) and he cut the phone.

                                        I was in a very terrible situation that my driver is waiting at Fortune motors at now 10.00 pm for my car and he has all the way came from Dahanu and it is very difficult for him to go back to Dahanu and he has no relative at thane to stay.

                                        Hence this is a matter of great concern that because of bad response of Mr Sawant I suffer a lot.

                                        But then I rang to Mr Rohan, ( to whose I contacted before sending my car to Fortune), he replied me in very good manner. He assured me to send my car at his risk and cost and I was so pleased to hear such words from this gentleman.

                                        So action is to be taken on Mr Sawant for the in convenience happened to me as well as to my driver and I don’t know weather Fortune Motors will send my car by their drivers or not.

                                        Fiat Linea car — car boot than 3 weeks lock defective for more

                                        My fiat lineaold me car boot lock is defective since last three weeks. The service center told me that they than tve placed order on the company. It is more than three weeks that i don't have a boot lock and i cannot take the car in public places. It is just about 01 year old car and the lock is supposed to be changed under warranty. I have complained on Fiat web site but yet to receive any reply.
