I bought a Fiat Grande Punto 1.2 Active from Concorde Motors, Chennai on Mar 31, 2011. The brake failed 3 times within 2 weeks of purchase. Concorde Motors picked my car from my home. Its been 5 weeks now. No solution yet. THERE IS A SERIOUS PROBLEM HERE. I see similar complaints in many auto-review websites. This seems to be a huge Scam by Fiat / Tata. Anybody with similar complaints please reach out to me at [protected]@rediffmail.com. I am filing a consumer court complaint
Worst part is, nobody from Fiat responds. Tata and Concorde Motors are ruthless in responding to the customers. Simply I just dont deserve this harrassment after paying 5 lakhs of rupees

    I have purchased fiat Linea emotion pack ,in the month of November 2010,20 days before my vehicle broke down due to starting problem.When i showed to Pandit auto Akurdi Pune they told us that the starter was not functioning properly and that we will have to replace it .But till date i have not received my vehicle due to the non-availability of starter.The are telling us that the starter is nowt available in Fiat company also.Due to do this reason i am having a financial loss as i have to hire a 4-wheeler daily.
    Please look into the matter and reply us as soon as possible.
    My vehicle no is MH 12 GK 3966

    Fiat Linea — unsatisfactory on the WARRANTY promise

    i own a Fiat Linea the service in TATA show room is unsatisfactory. No manager is with ample information. I have 2+2 yrs or 1.5 lakh KM warranty, But i could'nt find any help or support for this.

    TATA Fiat Linea — poor service and non availability of spare parts

    To whom it may concern,Myself Sunil Kumar Vishawakarma residing at D35/216 Jangambari Varanasi.I have purchased LINEA last year on 26-5-10 from BRIJLAX MOTORS PVT LTD. Phulwaria Road, Lahartara VARANASI.

    First service was done at Varanasi.Due to some personal reason I shifted to Allahabad.At that time LINEA was not available in Allahabad. Later its service centre is opened.Now my second service is due on[protected]. But when I visited G.P Motors for booking service date they said that their service centre is not able to service properly and not even spare parts are available.They suggested to go to Varanasi or Lucknow for the service.

    Then I contacted customer care and complained for the same , but they take this as granted.Repeatedly I visited G.P Motors and met G.M for the purpose but no satisfactory answer was made.I also begged to extend my service period to some extent but they refuse to do so.

    Now who will pay for the conveyance and make available the spare parts that i required. I want strict action against this conduct. you are my last hope.
    I have purchased fiat Linea emotion pack, in the month of December 2010, 31days my vehicle head light metal is melted .When i showed to jasper industries vijayawada they told us that the light metal is some defect so it will replaced in warranty they told two months back .But till date i have not received head light The are not responding when i call them those are not lifting my phone.
    Please look into the matter and reply us as soon as possible.

        Dear Team,

        I own FIAT palio sd multijet basic version 2008 model.
        TATA motors have been showing poor responce for servicing ever since I bought the vehicle.
        They either do one or the other mistakes after servicing the vehicle, such as misalignment, convey us about the non availibility of the spares and so..on.
        After the free check ups I am geeting my vechle serviced at a prive centre CARNATION. they also complain about the non availibility of the spares.
        Ever since I bought the vehicle the clutch plate is very hard to operate.
        FIAT is doing a nonsence business in INDIA. The company is not taking any responsibilty of non availibility of the spares, manufacturing problems...and so on.

        My sincere request to all FIAT fans is that please think 10 times before you buy a FIAT vehicle.
        You will be ruined with the costly spares and long lead time at the workshops because of the above problem.

          I had bought a Fiat Punto on 06/05/2011 from Techno Automobile Pvt Ltd......I WOULD ADVISE ALL TO AVOID THIS DEALER......there has been theft on 2 accounts....1. to the government by paying Rs.3850/= lessby way of Vat....2. to me by raising me a debit note of Rs.17356 but the premium receipt mentions the same as Rs.11595/=.....that means in total the govt & I have been robbed of Rs.9611/=....is there any agency which can hold them responsible for such a THEFT.....I request the public to advice me.....I AM FEELING THAT I HAVE BEEN CHEATED.....

            Sir I was working with FIAT IND PVT LTD Kurla Mumbai 70 from 18 Nov 2002 to 4th JAn 2007.

            My PF account is MH/73-A/22029.

            I have been told by FIAT office that my PF amount submitted to THANE EPF branch.
            Then I have applied for PF transfer from MH/73-A / 22029 to MH/BAN/39122/2649.

            but still i dont knw the status.

            1) What Amount of PF submitted by FIAT to EPF office ?

              Sir this is about My Fiat Palio Stile 1.1 SLE
              Registration No.UP78 BQ - 6033

              Right from the beginning when i bought the vehicle in July 2008 the dealer (Gold Rush Motors Lucknow) committed fraud with me in June 2008 by delivering me an accidental vehicle after denting & painting.

              After that this matter was closed then the availability of spares was not there with the service centers in Kanpur. Any how I managed it by waiting for the delivery of spares.

              Once In Aug. 2009 while going to the hill station my vehicle got over heated. After returning from there I went to the workshop and told to the manager there and discussed about the problem he said that the Thermostat valve had to be changed but we don't have parts in stock you have to wait for 15 to 20 days.

              And in Sept.2009 the A.C. compressor bearing started creating noise while turning ON the AC. I registered a complaint with the workshop, the manager said that please manage it for some days because the work load over here is much more that the normal days and your thermostat is also not delivered first we will do that then only we will order the next one.

              When the Thermostat Valve came to them they called me up. I walked in there at 10.00 a.m. for a routine service & change for the thermostat valve. When they completed routine service it was almost 6.00 p.m., they told me that sir it’s the time to close the workshop.

              So when the next time you visit here we will get it changed for the meanwhile we have connected the valve directly to the engine so that the coolant supply is not disturbed and it will not get heated. It had been over 1 year now they didn't get time for that in between this I have been there for 4 to 5 times and the part is also lying with them.

              Sir a very funny incident occurred with me & I think it is a big shame on the part of Fiat, Mr. Shailendra CRM ([protected]) called me up on Saturday 4th of Dec.2010 and told me that the Fiat Company had send us the Compressor which has to be replaced in your car & that is FOC from the company. Despite of being busy I went there on Thursday 09 Dec.2010 at 1.00 p.m.

              Sir after reaching there i was told that the confirmation mail has not come yet for the compressor replacement. I argued Mr. Shailendra that you should have called me up after the confirmation. Why I should come here by travelling 15km. from my home to waste my time and sit idle here. After this incident happened I talked to Mr. Prasoon ([protected]) Manager Fiat Motors he told me that the compressor was not FOC & you will have to pay for that & when I tried him calling to discuss for this matter again he disconnected the call .

              After that i have been continuously writing mails to the higher authorities for getting this matter solved but there is no positive response for them.

              Please help me to get this issue sorted out, as it has been more than a year facing these issues & the company is just sitting all accounts clear.

              Damage Occurred ::::: Because of the Thermostat Valve the Engine of the vehicle get heated after running 50 odd kms.

              The AC compressor is creating lot of noise while turning ON the AC.

                I bought fiat linea from cargo motors on 30 Sep 2010. Being in army i am posted in field area, hence i am driving the vehicle vary rarely. Ist free service was not carried out properly. During Jan 11 I was asked to replace the ac, which i doubt was replaced as at cargo motors no body was found trained to handle the computer programme through which it was to be replaced. Now after four months only when i was on leave, the ac gas was totaly leaked and the ac was not functioning properly. When spoken to the dealer service manage he has asked to get the vehicle to his workshop i doubt about satisfatctory serviceing again. please advice what to do now. thanks to tata motors proving so poor service at cargo motors jalandhar.

                    I Want to Complaint about the problem i m having
                    with my Fiat Car. the problem is that my car had some problem in the
                    axle tube i complained at the workshop at 15000kms about this fault
                    but they did nothing. But when i complained it to customer care through email when the tyres are almost finished because of axle tube they have changed excel tube but
                    what about the tyres which are finished because of axle tube.

                      I had purchased a FIAT PUNTO (emotion Pk) from Ambala CSD and was very happy to be a proud owner of the car. One Sunday morning i found my front wheel flat and tried to open the wheel to take it for repair. To my surprise the wheel was locked tight and i could not open it. I called up the 24/7 assistance provided by the company to me. To my horror all the phones listed in chandigarh were not picked up by anyone. Ultimately I called the Fiat Assistance and was informed to wait for a while before someone is sent to me. I kept waiting for over an hour and then called again. I got the same reply. Ultimately after about 4 hours I was told that the Fiat can get my car towed to the nearest service centre and it will be attended to on monday morning. The reason for not being able to send the assistance was given as... "today being a Sunday all mechanics are on leave and the company will be able to attend to my car only on Monday. Till then it can be towed to the nearest service centre and deposited there. WHAT a shame.... I did not pay for the assistance to hold my car for ransom of some kind....This is no way of working and an absolute illogical work culture. What happened to the tall promises made during the time when the same 24/7 assistance scheme was being sold to me..... How to i get my money's worth from the company... its absolute cheating in this case....

                        Subject: Complaint against newly purchased FIAT PUNTO Tyres

                        Ref: Complain against 2 Tyre bursts within a span of 1 week 10 months of purchase of new car.

                        Dear Sir,
                        I Ms. Prachi Umesh Wakaley, owner of FIAT PUNTO, Emotion Pack (Red),
                        Regd. No: MH-12 FU 6258.
                        Purchase date: 8th March 2010 , from B. U. Bhandari Auto dealer.
                        About 2 weeks back, 2 of our REAR tyres, (15’’wide, make: GOOD YEAR) have burst.

                        According we forwarded a complaint to GoodYear & their person came to verify the same.
                        There report post visit is attached for your reference. According to them, the damage has been due to some external impacts & hence do not cover it under warranty.
                        However, we were not satisfied with their remarks think that it has happened due to the SUB_STANDARD QUALITY of tyres. The reasons we feel so are briefly mentioned on the report (attached) and further below for your reference:

                        The car is mostly used in city. Especially last 2 months it has not gone any where outstation, no rains nothing..
                        The running so far is only 20000 kms. With as per our understanding too less.
                        The rear of car also has practically no weight. The car is mostly used by maximum 1 or 2 people.
                        If there was any such a strong impact on the tyres from the side, to lead cuts on the face it would probably damage the side of the car as well or if not atleast disturb the wheel alignment. Both the things are absent.
                        In such situation we feel, that either we need relook/evaluate the measure of impact &/or check the quality of the Tyres.
                        With our experience of TATA indica (single handed use) for over 6 years now, we feel the problem is not due to external impact but due to the manufacturing quality of the product especially when they designed to be more stable & rugged for the powerful vehicle ( 15’’ wide)
                        The car is lying unused meanwhile due to problem. It is not just for these 2 tyres but may be even the front 2 tyres need to be checked as we are worried they may also face the same fate in near future.

                        Kindly look into the matter as, the request not only meant for our car but for the overall supply of Tyres to a signature product (Punto) of your esteemed company.

                          Dear Sir,

                          Why people purchase a good Branded Car, the answer is obviously.....Reliability, Safety, Mechanical Integrity, Less maintenance, Good mileage, Overall maintenance cost less, Human Comfort while traveling and Durability.

                          I purchased a Fiat Linea Emotion Pk -Diesel car Registration number MP07 CC 2175, Engine No. 0096018 & chasis No. MCA11031B09019255FNZ dated 15th September 2010 on the name of my grand father Dr. B. M. Gaur on the basis of the above parameters.

                          The experiences what I have gathered since from booking of my car to delivery of my car is sharing with you all for your ready reference and future improvement from your part. My car age is only five months. However, you will be shocked to know my experiences with the new purchased car as follows:

                          I purchased my car in the month of September '10 from A. S. Motor- Gwalior.

                          Within 1 month (12TH SEP. 2010 ) of purchase my car started developing problems.

                          1st, 12TH SEP. 2010 the car did not start when it was kept in the garage of my house for 2 days. When we reported the same to the dealer, he said that that we need to take out the battery from the car and charge it from outside and bring it to the workshop. We took pains and got the battery charged from outside and took it to the workshop. Then the car was in the workshop for 5 days after which he returned it to us saying that the problem has been resolved. I also locked the request on customer care with complaint ID 1-[protected] dated 12/10/2010

                          The same problem happened again 15 days after dated 30th October 2010 the previous incident. We repeated the same procedure again. The dealer then gave it to us in writing that the problem has been resolved once and for all and if this issue arises again they would send an engineers at our premise and get it resolved from his end. I also locked the request on customer care with complaint ID[protected] dated 30/10/2010


                          Again after 15-20 days 18th November 2010 the same problem cropped up again. The dealer sent his engg as promised found the same problem. They took the car with themselves, got the battery checked by sending it to the manufacturer. The battery was found OK. The problem was then with the Alternator as per them which they changed from their end. Again we took back our car.

                          To our surprise the same problem happened again after 2 month. The dealer again sent the engineers and took the car to the workshop, again has performed the same procedure as earlier. The car is in the workshop since 25th Feb 2011. When they asked us to come and pick up the car today – 3rd March 2011 as the problem had been resolved, to our surprise the car did not start at the workshop itself.

                          Now they again need some more time to resolve the issue. In the meantime we have contacted all your Senior workshop manager, Mr. Ram Niwas Singh, Workshop head, Mr. Prashant shukla, Regional Officer Mr. Kshitesh ([protected] ) and Regional Heads, Mr. saurabh ([protected] ) for the same but no one has a clue about what is happening. The excuses that they have used to explain me are not even explicable in this mail.

                          I was skeptical about buying your product as most people complain about it but I had never imagined that FIAT is such a Company where no one knows what is happening. Everyone is whiling away their time with false commitments.

                          The harassment that I have gone through has convinced me that your company has no clue about what customer satisfaction is.

                          I sincerely request you to please help me getting the problem resolved once and for all so that atleast I can use the car which I have purchased through my hard earned money. I just want my problem resolved once and for all after which I do not want to even think about ever using any other vehicle from FIAT in my life. If given an option I would request you to kindly return my money if you can or replace my car.
                          I hope writing in to you has some value and not just a waste of time.

                            Dear Mr Kapoor.
                            I'm writing you this letter to make you aware of the severe lack of negligence in your workshop. This is regarding my Fiat Linea (Diesel, Emotion pack) purchased at M/s Wasan Motors, Chembur, Reg No MH-03-AW-2585 on May 16th 2010. I am totally disappointed by the after sales service provided for my car. I am hoping someone actually pays attention to a customer's grievances.
                            Your service department has been unable to properly repair the defects in my car, and I need your help to resolve the situation. My car was been damaged by the workshop people and even after admitting to it and promising me of further repairs, they have backtracked and now maintain that such promises were never made. We, the Customers are suffering and are being deprived of the services which we are entitled to.
                            There were issues with my car since the very first check up at 3,000 km, which were not attended to properly and still persist in the car. These issues were repeatedly taken up with authorities at Deonar workshop during my numerous visits and were not looked into. Such is the casual behavior of the advisors at wasan. Leaving aside their not answering to phone calls and also hanging up the phone in mid conversation.
                            The main issue started when my car had to go for accidental repairs at the deonar workshop as having met with a minor accident on expressway [a dog zipped across d road] the front bumper was damaged including damages to the radiator assembly and also the a/c condenser all 3 of which had to be changed. This job took around two weeks.
                            On pre delivery inspection I found the a/c to be very noisy and also the front bumper to be misaligned along the wheel arcs and also under the headlights. This was immediately bought to the attention of the advisor handling the mechanical job who insisted the noise was normal as new parts have been fitted in and that the noise would die down after a couple of hundred kilometers. I voiced my concerns to the senior authority and also the other advisor who had attended my previous job. I was assured the problem would be looked into if it still continued after a few days. Regarding the alignment of the front bumper I was assured by the accident repair advisor that it would be fixed during my next visit.
                            I was back in the showroom in a couple of days as the noise had not died down rather it had significantly increased and was now clearly audible. As I had to leave for Ahmedabad in a couple of days I wanted the vehicle to be free from any breakdown. The a/c mechanic was instructed to check the car by the advisor. My doubts were confirmed when the mechanic told me that the a/c compressor was faulty and will have to changed.

                            The advisor was informed regarding the condition of the compressor. As the procedure to change the part was a lengthy one and with the part not available in the stores I was told to proceed with my trip and in the meantime the part would be made available for replacement.
                            This discussion was held in the cabin of the CRM at the workshop who confirmed with the advisor and re-assured me that the part would be changed on my next visit to the service centre. In the meantime the noise had risen to unbearable levels and on my return trip from Gujrat I was not able to use the a/c.
                            After returning a couple of days later I was advised to visit the service centre where my car was attended to but to my utter dismay the compressor was not changed. The advisor instructed me that as the oil was low and the gas was not fully charged the compressor was making a noise. On engaging the a/c it was clearly audible that the noise had not died down, but only to me and not to the advisor. I met the CRM who clearly backtracked from her statement for replacement of the compressor when only a couple of weeks ago she had promised me that the matter would be personally handled by her and she would solve all my queries. These people have backed out with utmost ease. such is the attitude at the attitude at deonar workshop. This all happened under the nose of the workshop manager who turned a blind eye. If the senior management is such what is to be expected from the subordinates.
                            Regarding the front bumper I was in a very cool manner told by the fitting contractor at the workshop in presence of the advisor that the gap is just an inch, forget about it. Later I was told by the accident department advisor that the bumper itself is faulty and would have to be claimed for in insurance for a new bumper. This issue is still to be resolved as I have yet to receive word from their side.
                            You will be surprised as to the answer your qualified staff at the TATA FIAT Wasan service workshop give, for instance I was with two advisors on a test drive in my car to show them the increase in vibration due to the faulty compressor and also during idling. I was shocked when one of your advisor explained to me that as my car had done around nine thousand kilometers some noise from moving parts is expected due to constant rubbing. Do they expect us to be fools for giving such answers? If such remarks are expected from your workshop people what could be their expertise in solving the problems.
                            In another instance I was told by an advisor that it was of simply no use to come again and again to the workshop as the a/c chapter was closed and it is in perfect working condition.
                            Is 10,000 km the guarantee for the parts fitted in a car worth ten lakhs. If not, then who is liable for such statement’s made by a customer advisor in the service workshop?
                            Since then I have visited the wasan showroom at Chembur and complained regarding the treatment handed out by the workshop authorities. Some 3 to 4 people checked my car at the workshop and confirmed regarding the a/c vibration and noise, this was also confirmed by a service dealership of Fiat and this was informed to the CRM at the workshop by me. But it seems that the noise is not heard by any advisor at the workshop. SURPISING ISNT IT!!
                            I have even spoken to the SSM at the showroom who has taken up the matter at the service centre, but I am still to hear from the workshop people. I was informed that a representative of Fiat is available for any queries at the workshop and insisted on seeing one but the CRM assured me that there is no such person and he is only available in the workshop once a year for audit.

                            Some of the other minor problems are mentioned below:-
                             During the first check up itself my rear wheel bearing kit was changed as the bearings were faulty.
                             The glove box was not aligned properly, upon my insistence to change it I was answered “ sir, we will have to completely change your dashboard also, which cannot be done here”
                             There is a great deal of rattling noise from the rear left side which is not rectified to date even after being mentioned in my each job card.
                             The sun glass holder is faulty and I am still waiting for its replacement.
                             The front head light [L.H] was faulty and it took me 3 visits just to show the advisors what the problem was as they could not find it themselves. The one replaced also has a defect.
                             Headlight beam adjustments were mentioned in the job card as I had to leave for Ahmedabad, not done to date.
                             Blue n Me issue mentioned in the job card of playing each song twice via different pen drives – not rectified to date.
                             The vibration during idling has gone up several notches since the replacement of the radiator.
                             During a previous service both my vanity mirrors were tampered and broken and this was reported to the advisor who did not take any action.
                             Linea monogram to be changed mentioned in 2 services not changed to date.
                            The car was damaged due to the negligence of the workshop authorities during repairs carried out on my vehicle and I expect them to change the part and restore my car to its original state.
                            I expect as being senior authority of Fiat prompt action should be taken by you against the dealership and such hardships should not be faced by customers at any of your dealerships.
                            I also want to meet a Fiat representative who has the authority to take on the spot decision.

                            The advisors name who I dealt with at the workshop and who are to be blamed for this carelessness are: 1. Ms Vaishali Lad [CRM] 2. Mr Mahesh Varma. 3. Mr Abhishek.
                            Fiat has been showing lack of initiative to address customer complaints directly. When faced wiht a problem, most of the times a Fiat owner has to fend for himself spending time & energy explaining the TASS centers, who are only adept at doing cover up jobs. most of the Fiat service centers are ill equipped & under trained to identify the root cause of a problem & eliminate it. Fiat Linea is a wonderful vehicle selling successfully in overseas markets, however in India the lack of initiative from Fiat India to connect wiht the customers & an abysmal service network are making the existing FIat owners feel cheated & scaring away the new ones.

                              I got my car PB11AK 0780 serviced on 24/01/2011after 108452 Kms for
                              normal routine service with Oil filter change, Brake Pad set, Fuel Filter, Air
                              filter, other standard checks, (Job card No. JC-GoyalM-RJ[protected]
                              I was on my way to Sirsa on 2nd Feb 2011 and my car got breakdown, I called up
                              your nearest dealer Mehta Motors - Bathinda and got the car checked and they
                              told us that oil filter is damaged due to oversize and needs replacement which
                              they did by replacing engine oil and oil filter ( but car didn't run and it was
                              told that due to non standard product used by Goyal Motors oil filter got
                              damaged and its broken parts have entered into engine and engine got damaged)

                              I requested goyal motors to check the car and they told me that they will check
                              the car and get the same repaired at the earliest, they bought the car from
                              Mehta motors and started repairing it and told me that turbo has malfunctioned
                              which is quite normal in Palio stile model of Fiat. They have repaired the same
                              fault for more than 5 cars and 6 cars are under repair for the same fault pan
                              Punjab,

                              I think i have been ditched by selling a car which is having a in built
                              manufacturing defect and you need get your engine overhauled anytime b/n 75000
                              KMs to 125000 kms.

                              Request you to get this manufacturing defect removed at assembly stage/
                              Manufacturing stage and repair my car as goodwill gasture

                              there is a problem with the hose of the Turbo air inlet. the clamp that holds the air-inlet hose to the turbo assembly is originally a spring-tyoe clamp. this clamp has the possibility of coming off easily and it allows dust to enter the trubo-unit.

                              it happened with me at only 7000 kms (Stile SDX) and the entire turbo-unit siezed (pieces broke and it jammed). the broken pieces entered the engine and #4 cylinder siezed (jammed). the entire engine with turbo unit, costing about Rs. 2 lacs (with labour) had to be replaced.

                              initially fiat tried it's best to put the blame on me, till one engineer friend fought for me and proved to fiat that it is a manufacturing defect.

                              fiat, after much fight, accepted it's defect and replaced the engine and turbo unit at their cost. the clamp has now been replaced with a screw-type clamp (instead of the spring-type) and a notification issued to replace all fiat diesel units with this type of clamp.

                              you probably faced same thing with the other 11-cars also you mentioned.

                                this is narasimha reddy from rajampeta. i have reserved a fiat punto 90bhp from mg brothers in nellore. they were worst in service in delivering a vehicle. they have given a used vehicle which is test diven. actually we paid 35000 in advance after that due to some financial problems the vehicle delivery is delayed for 2 months, before 2 months we that we want a new vehicle,they doesnt aqccept and we think it is new only and accepted delivery. after that we called them on 26th feb 2011 and told that we will take the vehicle on 28th at 12.00pm and they said ok. after that we came on 28th monday at 12.00. the vehicle isnot there and thay told it has gone for teflon coat. ok they are telling that vehicle will come by 2.00pm and 3,4,5,6,pm. and the vehicle doesnt come. they took the dd for the remainig amount with out showing the vehiclle and took signatures by 5.00pm with out showing the vehicle. whats this nonsense sir. finally the vehicle came ay 7.30pm in the night with all mud and dust. we asked what is this all and seen that 400km running vehicle. is it good for them sir,is it the right way in delivering the vehicle.we think mg brothers has good brand value and too the good fiat car.what to now sir. i want the veicle to be replaced or return my amount. or we will see in the court of law against the mgb and fiat and tata motors, i am extremely sorry to say this sir pls try to understand.
                                pls solve my problem as soon as possible because 8.18 lakhs is not a big issue for the people like u, but it is a great issue for us the people who depends on agriculture. pls sir.

                                  I am Madhu Koti from Hyderabad. Using my savings and taking a loan I bought a Fiat Punto from one of the dealers-“AutoFin, 140, PG Road, Secunderabad-500003” on 25 Dec’10. Within a week I started getting some trouble in the engine and the dealer said its all normal in new vehicle and assured me everything is fine. But the problem continued and getting no response from dealer, I approached a couple of my known local mechanics. After checking the vehicle they told me the vehicle is an accident met vehicle and not the new one. I approached the other showroom and was able to see the difference. I contacted the AutoFin people and after sometime they accepted the vehicle got damaged while transiting to the showroom. But now again they are changing their words and are not ready to replace the vehicle.



                                  After spending 8 Lacs its very unfair to cheat a common man. I bought the vehicle on company’s brand name but felt very much cheated after the incidence. It is hard to accept a multinational company gave a dealership to such a fraud person. I left my vehicle at dealer and would like the company should help me getting a new vehicle and a very strict action should be taken by the company.

                                  Please help me out on the this regard .

                                  FIAT INDIA AUTOMOBILES LTD — Mishandling of car while in workshop for service

                                  Car given to workshop for service. Fuel Indicator was working. After service, found not working. Complaint for the same. Attended by the technician but found it was faulty and needs replacement. Cost is 15000/- rupees. It is a rugged item, cannot become useless in a day or overnight. Complaint number:1-[protected] on 10th aug. 2011. No coorective action taken.

                                    this is with reference Complaint ref Number 1-[protected] and 1-[protected]



                                    I purchased a Fiat Punto 90 HP on Friday 4th Feb. 2011 from Society Motors, Kanpur. On Saturday 5th Feb. 2011 I drove the car from Kanpur to New Delhi when I realized that the air-conditioning of the car wasn’t working properly. On my way I called Society Motors and received no response from their end regarding the complaint.



                                    Sunday, 6th Feb, 2011, I got my car checked from Sterling Automobiles, Noida, where it was confirmed that the air conditioning of the car is faulty. I was told that since this car has been bought from Society Motors Kanpur, Sterling Automobile is nowhere concerned about the fault and the car should be sent back to Kanpur for repairs.



                                    Following this I called Fiat customer helpline thrice on Sunday, 6th Feb, 2011 before I could actually make the customer care representative understand my concern and provide me a complaint reference number. I was promised that I will receive a callback from the dealership with 72 hours, however I am yet to receive any.



                                    Being a customer of Fiat and after spending over seven lakh rupees on a faulty vehicle, I demand the following

                                    First I need to know why a faulty vehicle was sold to me by the dealership since the dealership must have known this issue. Since they have been reluctant enough to receive my calls, I assume that the responsibility of a dealership and once the sale is done barring customer for any after sales support or queries.
                                    Sterling Automobile refused to service my vehicle and were blunt enough to say no to me on my face. If I own a Fiat vehicle, I expect to receive a service from Fiat’s service station, no matter from where the car has been purchased.
                                    I was told by the customer care that I would receive a callback within 72 hours, which is still awaited. I have made over 8 calls to the customer care and every time I receive a robotic answer that my complained would be escalated and I will receive a callback from the management.
                                    I demand my car to be replaced immediately, since it is a faulty vehicle and I would not entertain any repairs on a new car.

                                        I am Dr. Lalit kumar, had purchased fiat-linea (emotion PK-diesel) on[protected] from A-ONE MOTOR(MIRKANA ENGG.)BARAKHAMBA ROAD, NEW DELHI. My car’s Reg.No-DL7CK4767, COLOUR-FLAMENCO RED.
                                        On[protected] there was a problem in the brake system of my car, on workshop at Agra it was found that the vacuum pump of the brake system was not working. It was changed at Ashok auto. Agra, U.P. At that time my car remained in the workshop for near two weeks.
                                        On[protected] there was a problem in the lock system of my car, so I went to Oberai motors, Dehradun. They found that my car’s door lock and latch is not working properly. At that time, my car remained in the workshop for one week, but the problem is still pending due to unavailability of lock in the workshop.
                                        On[protected] there was heating problem in my car, then the same workshop (oberai motors, Dehradun) manager told me there is some problem in car’s engine, and it will take near two weeks to correct.
                                        Right now my car is in the workshop of Oberai motors, P.O.Majra, Saharanpur road, Dehradun-248171
                                        I want to knew that-
                                        1. Am I had invested near 9 lacks in purchasing this car, just for staying my car in your workshop????
                                        2. Is there any technical defect in your manufacturing system of this car????
                                        3. Material used in the manufacturing the fiat car, is of third grade?????
                                        4. Is it happened with me only or yours all costumers are facing same problem??? And I want to show you this matter that there is some sever problem in your/my car so such things were happened.
                                        5. If it is the same as I have told you, then, please take my car back to your company. Alternatively, make an immediate arrangement to proper check or correct my car, because I have not invested my money to be ruined.


                                        By the way it is very shameful thing that within one year by purchasing your car, it got sever technical or mechanical problem while running on the road.
                                        I am waiting for your quick response because I am mentally harassed by these incidences.

                                        FIAT = Fault in Alles Tiles ( fault in all parts) . This is how Germans refer to Fiat in particular and Italian cars in general.

                                        You should have gone for German car ( Vento) or a Japanese one Honda or even Mitsubishi Cedia. rest all are crap. Avoid american cars as they are oil drinking machines.
