I ordered midea 1 ton inverter ac on 10- oct -2018 and the product was delivered on 15-oct-2018. The product which i received is incorrect, here the indoor unit is inverter and outdoor unit is non-inverter. The installation guys told this couldn't be installed due to compatibility issues and i agree to it. I am requesting flipkart to replace the product as it promised while i was placing the order. The seller is omnitech retail and as per their policy if the product is in stock, replacement would be provided. I bought this product during flipkart big billion sale at rs.19289/-. I have contacted flipkart many times as an when i see that the product is in stock, but they just escalate the issue to the concerned team and they will get back to me after 3 days, by the time they call me product becomes out of stock. I recently called them and they promised to resolve the issue by 4-nov-2018, (The product is in stock from 1st-nov-2018) but this time they did not call on the promised date and requested me to wait till 8th - nov-2018. By the date i will receive call the product would be out of stock and they (Flipkart) are waiting for the same. While buying the product it was badged as flipkart assured and covered under flipkart buyer potection, which ensures customer receives correct product as it goes through six quality checks. I would like to understand how did the seller ship incorrect product even after going through stringent quality checks by flipkart. I would request for a replacement rather than a refund as it would cost me more if i buy this product now. Kindly check the below image.
