I had booked a trip to Shimla and Manali for 8 days in February 2023 and it was a deluxe booking however the vehicle they sent was broken and very old and it was dirty too.
The whole journey was so inconvenient and when I shared the pictures of the car to them on the 3rd day of my journey and complained about it, they started pressurizing me to give the full money by the end of the next day and even at night Started calling. I would never recommend Gateway to anyone.

      Irrational Behaviour and Defrauding Money

      First he asked for 50% amount which we paid and after that he asked for another 50% without confirming the booking
      When I asked since you haven"t made the booking refund my money he said no we cant you have to pay full...

      I have booked manali trip for 2 night and 3 days. They gave me the packege details but he did't fillow that. Bus service was very bad from both side. Hotel is good but far away from city. I have told to book near the city but they didi't. They had fixed food item in dinner as well as breakfast without asking me so either you have to take or leave it and make your arrengement by own. Tourism facility was very bad.. Apart from that a lot of problem i have faced
      So i suggest dont book your packege from that...

        (cheater & very bad service)

        We booked for manali shimla kullu package from this disgusting site http://www.himachaltourpackage.org/ they cheated us. Will never book by this any more and please will say to everyone don't go from getway india. Worst experience. Waste of money. Waste of time. Very bad and worst experience.

        We found worst hotel in manali, guys request you please never stay in this hotel. Very bad rooms/ room service & worst food. We stayed...

        We (Couple) went on a trip to shimla-manali through getway as it has a good name/reputation, but totally disappointed by their staff customer service.
        One deepak sharma who sits in fish market office (Rude behaviour/not helpful) and the other sanju (Driver) where we sat in his non taxi non a/c auto rickshaw (White swift desire) for 7days wasted our money by their cheap class customer service/tricks to earn more money from us not worth what you spent/cheated.
        Not up to what they promised.
        Do not recommend coz of these two guys, double check to not gonna serve by them.

          I booked my package for shimla and kasauli.
          1. Driver behaves very badly. He drinks before driving.
          2. He alongwith company personnel harasses you for money to pay all amount at one go initially. I asked them i will pay according to tour days. Driver stopped vehicle in jungle and blackmailed me to give money other wise he will not move car. Needless to say, i have to call 100 and complain about him as two ladies and one kid was travelling with me. Very horrible experience.
          3. Company took all the advances of rs 10000 but didnt booked hotel in kasauli. Again they blackmailed to us if i didnt pay all the amount, they will not book and pay hotel. Very horrible experience.

          Never ever book packages with this company

            I went to manali with my family last month through Getway India tours. Though we did not face much of an issue during the trip apart from the fact that the driver was always nagging about the time and asking us to hurry up. However, when we were to leave our hotel for our volvo bus back to Ambala, firstly no one came to pick us up. Over the phone the driver kept on assuring that he will reach on time but when the time came he said he cannot come and that they are sending another driver. Still no one came and we had to spend 500 Rs. to get to the bus stand. Again, at the Volvo stand the bus driver got stuck that he will not drop us at Ambala even though our drop and pickup was from Ambala only and we had our car parked at Ambala bus stand. He told us that they will drop us at Saha which is 25 Kms from Ambala that too at 2:00 am. How did they expect us to get any vehicle at 2 in the night. Thought it was later handled by the team but the entire event was very disturbing.

              Hi, I take package from Delhi to Manali there total package cost 13k with pickup and drop facility but when we called for pickup there taxi person refuse to give service also hotel where we are stay that is dirty, service of third class, gatway india holidays not give any kind support...dont book through agency

              Problem Details :
              1. as 26 jan 2017 we are reached to Manali distance 12 km, bus drop here to us and bus driver said bus not go to manali due to snowfall, there we called to taxi person that confirm to us we can not give service due to 12 km distance and other travel agency taxi came on there when we called to gate way india they are also refused to give service pickup and drop... there i have written proof on mail my package included with pickup and drop facility

              2. Hotel is too dirty when we are reached there no body open the hotel door around 2 hour we are called and knock the glass door but no body response then we called to gate way person then they are open the door you dont believe that hotel not familiar ... hotel staff not good, not good service...kya batu roona aa gaya bahi hotel dekh kar
              3. taxi service - taxi service not good that person refuse to go any point and said there way is block but when you said other tourist that said we are visited and drop facility not give...

              bhai problem he problem hai pls dont book any kind of service from this agency...

My honeymoon (shimla, kulu, manali) is remember for best trip. hotels was very good. all managed by Poonam Rawat my tour planner. they are very Unprofessional tour management. during the stay they arranged cake, fruit basket, bed decoration etc..

                  जैसा की मैंने आपसे दिल्ली से मनाली टूर पॅकेज ३ लोगों के लिए १८५००/ में लिया था मैंने आपको फोन से मनाली मनाली टूर में हुई बदतमीजी के बारे में बताया था. मैं आपको बताना चाहूँगा की आपने मुझे मेरी ३ सीटें १७ जून की दिल्ली से मनाली और २१ जून को मनाली से दिल्ली की बुक की थीं जिसमें मुझे आपने बताया था की आपको सेमी स्लीपर बस बुक की जाएगी जिसमें LED वगेरा की भी सुविधा होगी, मेरा ये टूर आपने १८५०० में बुक किया था | अब मैं आपको सफ़र में हुई असुविधा के बारे में बताता हूँ...
                  १. आपने बताया था की बस ५.३० मिनुत पर दिल्ली से चलेगी और लास्ट ८ बजे अगले दिन सुबह मनाली पहुंचेगी, बस नम्बर १११० थी, जो ६ बजे दिल्ली से चली और करीब १२.30 बजे सुबह यानि की १८ घंटे में पहुंची क्योकिं बस में लोगों का माल जो टैक्स चोरी करके लेजाया गया था भरा था, रत में सुबह जब बस ड्राईवर को पता चला की आगे कही पुलिस चेकिंग है तो बस रत में कहीं जंगल में खड़ी की (इससे सवारियों को भी खतरा हो सकता था ) और काफी देर बाद वो सारा माल किसी ट्रक में लादा और पुलिस चेक पोस्ट पार की फिर वो माल दोबारा कही आगे ट्रक से बस में लादा फिर वो माल कई जगह रस्ते में उतारा, , , यानि की १२ घंटे के सफ़र के आपकी बस में १८ घंटे लगे जिसकी वजेह से हम रात भर के थके हुए आराम भ नहीं कर सके और न ही उस दिन ठीक तरेह से मनाली घूम पाए .टैक्सी वाला शाम को हमें मनाली उतारा आया बड़ी मुस्किल से १५० रूपये में त्रीव्हिलेर से होटल आये..
                  २..मनाली से आप लोगो के बस ओपरेटर ने हमें सेमी स्लीपर की जगह सिर्फ ए सी सीटर (४२०२) बस दी गयी जिसमे एल इ दी ख़राब था बस में कोई चार्जिंग पॉइंट नहीं था हमारी २१, २२, २३ सीटें किसी और को भी बुक थीं बस में सीट की वजह से बहुत देर तू तू में में हुई और आपके बस में सीट दिलाने वाले बन्दे ने हमारे साथ गाली गलौज की और बस निचे उतारने की धमकी दी एक बार तो सामान भी उतरा ...आपको वहां से कई बार फोन किया लेकिन आपने कोई सुनवाई नहीं की बस वहां से चलकर कुल्लू से सवारी चढ़ी उनके साथ भी वही प्रॉब्लम थी जो सीटें उन्हें दिन थी वो नहीं दिन गयी बस सेमी स्लीपर का पंगा हुआ उस बन्दे ने बस को बंद करान एक धमकी दी और बस १ घंटे मनाली कड़ी रही, , उसके बाद उसको सेमी स्लीपर न होने की वजह से ड्राईवर ने १५०० रूपये वापिस किये तब जाकर कहीं बस चल सकी ..
                  ३. मैं आपको अवगत करना चाहता हूँ की मुझे आपकी घटिया सर्विस की वजेह से आपके बस ड्राईवर और आपके बन्दे जिसका मोबाइल नम्बर ९८१६६८०२८० के द्वारा अपमानित होना पड़ा और उसने मुझे काफी उल्टा सीधा बोला और उतारने की धमकी दी ..आपको मेरे मेल करने का मकसद है की आप मुझे ३ सीटों का २००० रूपये वापिस करने की किरपा करें क्योकि मुझे सेमी स्लीपर की जगह ए सी सीटर बस दी गयी १५० रूपये त्रिव्हीलेर में लगे और १८ घंटे के सफ़र में हुई परेशानी की वजेह से हम सही तरेह से घूम भी नहीं सके न ही हम सफ़र के बाद आराम कर सके ... मुझे आशा है की आप मेरी समस्या को समझेंगे और आगे अपनी सर्विस भी सुधरेंगे ... अगर आप मुझे २००० रूपये वापिस नहीं करते हैं तो में सफ़र में हुए परेशानी और आपके टूर पकेज में दी गयी सुविधा न देने के लिए कानूनी मदद लेने के कोशिश करूँगा...

                  मैंने १७ जून को गेटवे इण्डिया हॉलिडे से ३ सीट दिल्ली से मनाली का टूर बुक कराया था, दिल्ली से बस नम्बर १११० ने बस में नम्बर दो का सामान लादा जिसकी वजेह बस मनाली १८ घंटे में पहुंची क्योकि रस्ते में पुलिस के डर से बस कई जगह रोकी, , उसके बाद हमें मनाली घुमने में परेशानी हुई जो जगह बोली गयी थी नहीं घुमाई और इनका टैक्सी वाला हमें माल रोड ही छोड़ कर वापिस आ गया जिससे रात में हमे होटल पहुँचने में काफी परेशानी हुई ..मनाली से वापसी में हमें ए सी स्लीपर बुक की थी लेकिन हमें ए सी सीटर बस दी जिसमे एल इ दी ख़राब था कोई चार्जिंग पॉइंट नहीं था, और जो सीट हमें (२१, २२, २३) दी गयी थीं वही कई और लोगों को भी दी हुई थीं जिसकी वजेह से बस में बहुत तू तू में में हुई और बस में जो सीट दिला रहा था उसने हमसे बहुत ज्यादा बदतमीजी की और हमें बस उतारने की धमकी दी, , जिन अन्य लोगो को वही सीट दी गयी थी उन्होंने बस को बंद कराने की धमकी दी तो ड्राईवर ने उन्हें १५०० रूपये वापिस किये क्योंकि बस सेमी स्लीपर नहीं थी..हमने कम्पनी के सुरेंदर शर्मा से बात की जिसने हमारी सीट बुक करायी थीं लेकिन उसने कोई हेल्प नहीं की उल्टा यह बोला की में कुछ नहीं कर सकता आपको जो करना हे कर लो ..मेने कई बार कम्पनी में बात की लेकिन कोई सुनने को तैयार ही नहीं है मेरा मानना है की यह कम्पनी लोगों को बेबकूफ बनाती है मेने अभी इसकी कई शिकायतें देखीं हैं जिसमे उनके साथ भी यही हुआ हे. मेरी इस शिकायत को जितने लोग पढ़ें उनसे मेरा निवेदन है की इस कम्पनी गेटवे इंडिया हॉलिडे से कोई टूर बुक न कराये नहीं तो बाद में पछताना पड़ेगा इसमें कोई शिकायत को सुनने को तैयार नहीं हे ..सरे लोग लोगों को बेबकूफ बनाने के लिए बैठे है मेंने इन लोगों से बोला की मुझे आप लोग २००० रूपये वापिस दो लेकिन नहीं दे रहे मेरा टूर १८५०० में ३ लोगों का किया था जिसमे सिर्फ २ पॉइंट मनाली और एक दिन मणिकरण दिखाया गया रोहतांग पास अपने पैसे गए .. हालाँकि होटल जो बुक कराया था उसकी सर्विस अच्छी थी लेकीन इनका बस स्टाफ बदतमीज है नम्बर दो का सामान मनाली ले जाते हैं अगर रस्ते में कही बस बंद हुई तो इसका खामियाजा सवारियों को भुगतना पड़ेगा हमें खु १८ घंटे में पहुँचाया जिसकी वजेह से हम न आराम कर पाए न घूम पाए ... अगर इस कम्पनी में जरा भी शर्म बाकी है तो ये लोग मुझसे सम्पर्क करते अब तो फोन भी नहीं उठाते ...

                    One of the trips and stay that will be memorable forever as this is my first trip after marriage .My honeymoon Kashmir Toue packages is alwys rember This was like being in heaven for four days. The Hotel, food, Car was awesome. But Special is Houseboat at Dal Lake.Had ride in Shikara in the lake . The ride is very nice. During the ride you can see floating vegetable, flower and other markets. the view is superb.

                      I was on 9N10days Himachal (shimla-manali-dharamshala-dalhousie-chandiogarh) tour from 13th -22nd May 2016. We were 8 o[censored]s which included my elderly parents, 2 minor kids, my elder brother and our respective spouses. My tour and the bad experiences with Getway Holidays began on 13th May 2016 when I reached Chandigarh from Mumbai. Ms. Poonam from Getway had assured me that I need not co-ordinate with the hotels as she had shared the hotel confirmation vouchers with me only after confirming the room bookings with the hotels. But surprisingly when I contacted Satyam paradise in Shimla before check-in, I was told they had blocked 1 deluxe room & 1 super duluxe room on different floors for us (When I was actually confirmed super delux rooms). When I confronted Ms Poonam she asked me to speak with the Hotel mgmt as they had booked super deluxe rooms and the hotel mgmt have changed the booking thereafter. Though on the 2nd day after raising the issue with the hotel mgmt, they moved us from delux to super delux, but I was unhappy with the unprofessional response & ditching tactic adopted by Getway Holidays. After a 2 day stay at Shimla as we reached manali for check –in @ Village heart cottage, I was shocked to find the cottages were occupied by others. And, the owner/Manager of the property Mr. Harinder had made an alternate arrangement for us at a place that’s 6-7 km uphill drive on top of a hill at an isolated place. Tough the view from the rooms in the morning was pretty but this place was scary as the rooms were infested by big insects, spider, cockroach, lizards etc. Here again when I spoke with Ms. Poonam from getway she said that during season time the hotels generally manipulate bookings to accommodate last minute group bookings to maximize revenues. I was amazed as how a so called professional tour operator could say such a thing without any regret. To add to our trouble, the driver they had appointed threatened not to travel claiming his vehicles clutch plate will get damaged if he climbs the steep terrain regularly. However after lot of persuasion from us & the tour operator he agreed under the condition that next day we will be shifted to a better place. During this stay I heard from the Hotel proprietor that Getway Holidays & its owner Mr. Deepak have done such mismanagement in the past as well but it’s get unnoticed as travellers tend to ignore such things. I was already into the 5th day into my tour and by now all my excitement & joy had disappeared I was contemplating whether to continue or leave the tour in the middle. Bcoz of the uncertainty and regular change of accommodation we were unable to enjoy the local sightseeing and thus decided to skip dharmasala. We just wanted to see through this tour and thus proceeded with the rest of our itinerary and went to Dalhousie, stayed there for 2 days @ Hotel Mongas and then left for Mumbai. This is the most annoying travel experience I ever had in my life. I would strongly recommend people to carefully decide their tour operator before every tour. And for Getway Holidays I suggest please appreciate the time, monies, emotions attached with an tour. This was supposed to be a family ge-together that we all would have cherished our lives.. but it didn’t eventually happen. It this complaint or feedback has any effect than please stop for a moment and look back into your systems and find how you can stop ruining holidays and GETWAY.

                        I had booked Manali package through you, initial response was good but after making advance payment I found lot of difference in treating the customers. When I had chickenpox, I sent photos too but company was not ready to modify booking. In other case I booked hotel in Delhi through makemytrip and they changed date without any charges. Here without reason, taken extra charges for cancellation of 1 extra person where he was supposed to share...

                        Please find below my Remarks for Manali Tour(17th Jan - 22ndJan 2014), which was organized by Getway India Holidays Deluxe Tour Package Cost @ INR 10, 000/- for2 adults <?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" /> Hotel in Use-Hotel Himgiri /Hotel Mountain Face- 3* Package Inclusions: *Delhi-Manali-Delhi by Volvo coach (2*2), AC, Video Coach During return we got wrong Bus no. from your side, after struggling half an hour we got to know the informed bus was cancelled. After that we’ll shifted to another bus, and got “BACK SEATS” although our seatno’s in the return ticket are different. * 03Nights Accommodation in 1 Deluxe Room Can you please elaborate your definition of deluxeroom. FYI- Our room description in which we stayed is: Balcony View – ServantsQuarter at the back of Hotel. Inside Room – OPEN dustbinis placed in room for our use. No arrangements of blowers. * Pickup &amp; Drop From Volvo Bus stand to hotel For Drop I especially called your team to take care of same, ascarrying luggage from hotel to Bus stop is very much difficult for us as thedistance b/t hotel and bus stop is approx. 4Kms, But No one revert us. If you people have insisted your travelpartner or hotel to provide the same, then we can get this facility veryeasily. FYI – All the hotels are doing the same for their guest and moreoveryour travel partner (Mr. Prakash) is having 1 personal no. vehicle, which issent on Day 1 for City Tour. At least he can arrange the samevehicle for our drop, *Welcome drink on arrival Please clarify what kind of Welcome Drinks you aresupposed to provide, We have not got even a glass of water on our arrival. *3Morning Tea, 3 Breakfast &amp;3 Dinner Food was ok, but not up to mark as of 3* property. * OneCandle Light Dinner Not Got the same, and no one from your team has checkedwith us or from hotel people for the same. If it is a part of you tour package, then why no one has taken care of thesame. * TwoGlasses of Milk NOT got the same. * Freeentry in discotheque (Himgiri) On day 1 when I checked with hotel guys about theirDiscotheque timing and the availability, their reaction was like “ I am askingsome unusual thing”. Which make me feel very embarrassed. You stated here it is a free entry, but FYI it is free for all the guestpresent at hotel. Apart from entry there was nothing to buy in discotheque forwhich they can charge, e.g. not even a singlemock tale. * Freeuse of Games Room * 10%Discount on Laundry Not o[censored]se, as the travel days are very less. * OneHalf day Local Sightseeing By Individual Car I am sure that Half Day is not equal to 2 or 2:30 hour, our taxi driver told us very clearly that this sightseeing is schedule for2hours which they can extent till 2:30 hour. As described by you, “AfterSome time enjoy the city tour visiting to some of the prominent spots andattractions including Hadimba Devi Temple also called Dhungri Temple, Manu Temple, Tibetan Monastery and Vashisth Village”. Now FYI - MaunTemple is closed in this season and Vashisth Temple we visited next day as itwas out of the way. So Rest of the day we sent on Mall Road. * OneFull day sightseeing of Rotang / Snow Point by Sharing Car *(Snow Point /Solang valley incase Rohtang is closed) 2nd day was good and still justified, visited Snow pointand Vashisth Temple. * OneFull day sightseeing of Kullu &amp; Manikaran by Sharing Car Full day spent on Mall Road. Because of miscommunication between youand your travel partner. According to the local taxi and auto agencies we gotto know that the tentative dates for strike is already informed well in time before. FYI – We came to Mall Road from our hotel(Approx. 3Kms) by walking. NOTE – Last day also we spent on Mall Road and came their by walkingand this time with our luggage. Moreover your Volvo Bus stop is even 1 more kmahead from Mall Road. *All Taxes Include. Note : 3 out of 4 Days in Manali wespent on Mall Road, which is maximum of 1 km and 99% of local shops of food, cloths, antiques, etc.. Now please tell me how much a person can enjoy this same place with all thesame stuff. I really don’t have words to describe that how much BAD experience I had inManali, because of your mismanagement.

                        घटिया सर्विस घटिया लोग हैं इस कम्पनी के मेरे साथ भी यही हुआ में अपील करूँगा कोई भूल कर भी इस कम्पनी से टूर बुक न कराये ..
