Hdfc bank is deducting unnecessary amount from.my account without notifying me
an amount of 114.50 rs is deducted without any notice and the narration is also very stupid
and customer care is also not helping for the same

    Hi Sir,

    It is to inform you that I have disputed with all 5 transactions in the bill which were done after my card was stolen and provided you with CDF& FIR copy attached also on same day. Though they are in receipt of all documents, they generated bill for those transactions. I'm escalating the below matter since the proper resolution or response is not provided to me even after multiple emails to dispute team (5th, 9th April). I have escalated it to grievances team also. The customer care team asks to contact only dispute team. If you want more infomration, you can check with investigation team also. The Cctv footages for all transactions are available with them. This is a genuine case which i'm fighting for.

    I'm helping out the investigation team with all details possible. Though you are in receipt of all details that the transactions are fraudulent, it is the irresponsibility to include them in the billing.Since you have not completed the investigation on time, the transactions should be kept on hold without interest until the resolution comes in. I'm disputing with the bill generated on 5th April. The dispute doesn't respond, customer card doesn't provide info. This is the worst customer service I have ever seen. There is no toll free number for credit credit complaints. The bill to talk to them itself is huge.

      I must admit that I wasn't smart enough as HDFC. Very smart bank I had a credit card as well with 20000 limit I had dispute with the services twice once in 2011 when I paid full amount with fine and charges because the payment was not made and closed the card. Another smart agent came to me and convinced again for a c.card I agreed even after my previous experience. Dispute occurred again this time I paid 39000 where the maximum limit was 20000only. Still they have not been closing my account saying they need more 7000 to close this account as it's dormant account and was converted into savings after salary account was changed. It has been increasing and increasing day by day, It's my hard working money and the way I have paid to HDFC it actually hurts, as a result I always tried to save my credit ratings but I was trapped and will never be able to buy a flat or a car as I don't have 40 lakhs to pay in a go. It not only affected my ratings but majorly impacted my personal life I have no status today no cars no home, when I visited my Hdfc home branch I was being convinced to purchase a mutual fund of 50000 as a saving with HDFC only then they would wave it off and close the account and this was offered by Lallan Mishra who was the manager, raising this question to you would you ever like to be in this situation like me? Off course not. Let's see if posting this experience for last 10 minutes help me!!!

      It's not about the card Anay, it's about the bank account for card I have paid the interest in full and I have been provided no-dues certificate for the second time in my experience with Hdfc. I wrote only because my bank account is not being closed and I was really very much pissed off when I was offered a deal to either invest 50000 or pay 7000 rs. I actually didn't get that what the branch manager was up to. I also had one with axis bank it was closed without any charges even after 2 years. And I think it would have been increasing day by day. It's very easy for any bank like Hdfc to fight this because they always have a team to handle it in advance. I am a normal, general and peace loving person I can't escalate it again and again like other people I will olso quit and that's where your job is done Anay. that's what you have been sent for, but I won't screw neither your no Hdfc life, coz I am helpless you guys can prove that it was I at fault. You already have lawyers, yes but I will tell my family, friends and knowns about it, hope I can save someone else's credit score and social status to be ruined, and social status. God bless you Anay but I think you were not here with a solution. Let's see what you have for me

        Be very aware of any product from HDFC. HDFC bank officials are corrupted and if you make any complaint against them, they never take any actions at all. However, I had a small relationship with ICICI bank and there also I faced some problems with their staff, but when I raised concern for those officials, ICICI really helped me a lot and addressed that.
        But the experience with HDFC is nightmare. Let me tell you in details:

        I have my salary account and credit card with HDFC (unfortunately). I received call from HDFC's regional head office, Kolkata and they try to sell me a product of HDFC life. After several minutes of conversation they convinced me to buy a HDFC life product (another mistake of mine). I only convinced as they told that they will convert the purchase on my HDFC credit card into Dial an EMI (DAE) with 0% interest rate. They also informed that there will not be any fee for the DAE.

        But they have provided totally false commitment. The purchase amount had been converted to DAE but I had been charged. I had called several times to them and every time they replied it will be reversed - which never happens.
        Next concern - the big one. They informed next year onwards the premium amount will be automatically converted into DAE with 0% interest rate, as happen at the first time with no extra cost. But it does not even converted into DAE and a huge amount of credit card bill has been generated.
        I have raised several concern with both HDFC bank and HDFC Life though nothing has been resolved.

        Even HDFC bank is not answering the simple question of - if at the 1st time the amount was converted to DAE - I had not called to customer support for the DAE, I have not done anything; then why it is not getting converted to DAE this year?

        Several times I have provided the details of HDFC officials who were involved, but they have not took any action. I am providing here the details again:

          There is person name pravin nigam who stay in boisar, palghar taluk of thane district, state : maharashtra. About this person is that he has submitted and fake mark sheet i. E is and fraud result of mba in hdfc bank. This mark sheet was gain by giving money. He work for hdfc bank which is in boisar for sales department from so many years. But anyone never make and cross verification about the document what he has submitted. Kindly any one can look after this case. Since such person never deserve such job. There are lot of student and employ who work hard and wait for job and gain higher post by studding and giving fair exam. Hdfc bank is and reputed bank how can they keep such employ without cross verifying. Kindly look after this

            Some person called me naming Sub Inspector Sultal claiming to call from Delhi Police Head Quarters said that he has some non bailable warrants issued in my name from Delhi High Court and I would be arrested and presented in Court.
            I asked the details about the case and warrants to which he said he has no knowledge about the case and said don't try to fool me and you must have received the notice.
            But I have not received any Legal Notice from any Court . Then he gave me some mobile number of Adv Arvind Aggarwal and said his number is attached to the warrant and also asked me to call him and know the case details and also gave me some warrant nUMBER (NBW501/15).
            Sub inspector confirmed my address and said are you staying on the same address to which I replied that why would I change my address when I am not at any fault.
            He asked me to call Adv Arvind Aggarwal and then call him back or else I would be arrested.
            I then called on Arvind's number and some Neelam answered the call saying that she is her assistant and then told me that Ihave not made credit card payments so a warrant has been issued against me and again warned me that Police will come at my place and arrest me.
            I told her that so many times I have asked the bank to take the principal amount from me to which they denied and froze approx 4500 to 5000 INR from my account. Arvind also called me up after that and said you nare denying to make payments to which I said is not trueand asked him to let me clear what the exact matter is but he said his words and then disconnected the phone.
            Then some recovery agents also came to me and forcefully told me to pay 36000 instead of just 8000 INR to which I said I cannot pay this large amount and requested them to please take the principal amount and this I have been requesting since approximately 2 years to which they replied very badly and in very abusive manner over phone and self.
            and today again on[protected] they are harrasing me to pay 31000 or else they would get me arrested to which I again replied that I never said that I am not denying to make payment but i cannot pay Rs31000 of Rs8000 to which he said 23000 is the penalty of not paying on time.
            Later, Advocate Arvind Aggarwal has called me three to four times after that and Sub Inspector Sultan has also called me thrice after the first call and is forcing me to call Arvind and settle the amount in 2 hours or else he will send cops from Ludhiana to make arrests.
            At last Adv Arvind has warned me over phone that he will get me arrested or I will have to agree to the recovery agents and pay whatever they are asking for.

              My salary not credited now since from about 2 years in HDFC sallary Account, & thus it Has no balance in it, & so still bank adding maintenance charge every month on it now its going to -5500 rs. but, I want to close that account, or reuse without paying charges.
              so my accuse for why not we close online, bank website not creats this option on website, why?
              I got 2, 3 mails about it, but now from 1 years they only added charges, no enquiry about, why r u not using, or like that,
              at least one call for ensuring about can u want to close it, must be from banks.
              now I want to close / Deactivate this, HDFC have very good service & Reputation but this type of basic features should be on their
              so please be ensure whats the service we have in this situation,

Big Thanks to Indian Consumer Complaints Forum. & Also To HDFC Bank support Persons (Vikas Gujrathi & Vishwajit Ranade) who take my coplaint prioity & solve within 2 working days. Thanks!!! After complaining on portal, relevant complaint goes to HDFC Bank Thru forum, after that first of all vikas call me directly & ask to visit nearest branch, after that i went to Baner Branch in pune, where i mate with vishwajit & inform about issue, he respond quickly & do the conversation with vikas, vikas send neceessary na & other things to vishvajit thru mail & then within 15 min. i submitted by account closure form. after that next day vikas again call me & inform me that my acc. has been closed. so thanks.

                I had taken a gold loan from hdfc in 2015.I have a 12 year old saving account with hdfc with good transaction details.At the time of taking gold loan i had sighn the auto debit form for taking the interest every month on 1st, which they had been doing in 2015 till jan 2016.Feb 2016 i received call that i did not pay interest so i told the bank person that it is by auto debit every month.So he said pls come to bank and write application to withdraw interest .And i wrote the application to withdraw interest.Now again in april i received call again that i did not pay interest.So i asked the customer care pls withdraw by auto debit as usual you have been doing in last.Since i have given the instructions.As there is enough of money lying in the account.Today i received final notice letter dated 7th april nd received in 21st april that we have the rights to sell your jewellery as you did not pay the interest and dues.I request the forum to take a serious action for the harrassment and torchure i went through after reading the notice.Serious action should be taken regarding this.

                    I bought insurance policy for my wife last month, proposal number 18351923 and paid premium of Rs 13313 on 28/03/2016. Medical test was done at their designated center, Vijaya Diagonistics on 2nd April 2016. Till the time I did not pay for the policy, I used to receive hundreds of phone calls and mailers everyday and when I have finally paid for the policy, it looks like no one cares. Documents were completely submitted.
                    We didn't hear from the company for a good 10-15 days and we thought it is minimum time to complete the procedure. When we contacted finally, customer care executive says document is not submitted, medical test (urine) is pending and what not. We sent the attested document also. Urine exam was done on 2nd april itself and we have the proof of giving the urine sample at their designated center. This company has really made a joke out of policy holder. I don't know what will happen when we actually might approach them for a claim.
                    I never expected such poor response from HDFC life. We are stuck in the middle of nowhere. Customer care executives are rude and they only speak like tape recorder without listening to the other person. Taking a simple Life insurance has become such a big project for us. PATHETIC !

                      I have had a closed two wheeler loan from HDFC in 2013. I have not received my NOC however the system reveals that it has been delivered to the right address. I now have applied for it and am being told that I have to pay RS 500 as it is after 3 months. This information should have been given when the finance was made. You banks have a booklet of papers to sign and expect us to read the whole thing. The finance rep should give us all the important info at the time. Now I paid RS 500 at the kk Nagar branch (HDFC) and was asked to come back later in the day to collect it since they had not completed part of the NOC. The day before I waited for more than an hour to be told I have to pay RS 500 for the NOC. On 20th April I was told the NOC would have been sent on the same day. I haven't received yet and there is no contact number for a branch. This is how ignorant people are.

                        I had requested the bank through email/ customer query to cancel my account. I also have a credit card which i would like to cancel . I have also sent emails to hdfc for cancellation request.

                        Until now they have been charging for non maintenance of account balance . Total due rs 2714.

                        My cc balance is only 174.95 which i would be paying. I do not ant to go around for having the cancellation done.

                        I want to close this account. P lease do the needful.

                        Addressing your concern we wish to clarify that Combined closure form is a common form which is required to fill in by an account holder incase he holds more than a single product with the Bank.

                        By filling this form our customers can close all other accounts/products and delink the same along with Savings account held with the bank. For ex : ISA account/ Depository account / Credit card etc.

                        You will need to tick the relevant boxes mentioned on the form.

                        This application must be signed by all Joint Holders where the account is held jointly in the same order of names as appearing on the account or by sole holder in case of sole ownership account to be closed. In case the account is in debit balance, please fund the account to the extent of the over-dues together with interest, before submission of application for closure.

                        In case the account is dormant, please submit a letter at the branch for activation of your account. Your account closure request can be processed only post activation of your account.

                        We also request you to destroy or surrender the cheque book and Debit Card at the time of account closure.

                        Thanks for the response . I have sent a filled form through post and waiting for cancellation .
                        My Account was created from my company as Salary account, however my company have changed their bank and hence not using the HDFC bank account any more. BANK is charging me for non maintenance of balance. I cannot accept this charges. I want to cancel the account without any charges.

                          Very poor response and act of hdfc bank.

                          Dear sir/madam,
                          I was approached by annu (A representative of hdfc home loan) in the month of feb 16 regarding bt of my existing home loan with indiabulls, with the offer of no process fee if bt filed before 29 feb.
                          Mr ritesh (Another representative of hdfc home loan) came to me for filling up application form and collect required documents. Most of the required docs were provided by me right then and later as and when asked by him. I mailed to indiabulls for the list of docs and on 26 feb 16 i got a response that they would provide it within 28 working days on my email id.
                          Somehow, my bt was filed before 29 feb only (Application no:[protected] with the following promises:
                          (A) no processing fee
                          (B) reduced roi ie. 9.5% fm existing 9.8%
                          (C) bt with removal of my brother’s name fm home loan who is a co-applicant.
                          (D) completing bt process within 10 working days.
                          By this time annu assured that she will fetch ‘list of documents’ fm indiabulls. So i don’t need to worry for it. Therefore i didn’t follow-up with indiabulls. Same was conveyed to ritesh too.
                          Later ritesh denied the remove my brother’s name now. He told that it would be removed after bt that too after a fee of rs 2500/- approx. It was contradictory, annoying and irritating but having no other option i agreed to it.
                          It was getting delayed so on 17 apr i mailed to kalyani (Another representative of hdfc home loan) to update me about the progress of my bt.
                          On 19 april ritesh called me and told that i have not provided the list of documents. I replied him that annu was to collect it fm indiabulls. He should ask her about it. He told that i have to go to indiabulls branch and submit a written application to issue the list of documents. I expressed him my unability to go to indiabulls now due to my job and asked him to wait for 3-4 days. I asked him why didn’t he tell me earlier and now informing me to do this after my query mail for updation of bt status. He cut the call abruptly and rudely between the conversations. I tried to call him but he didn’t respond.
                          Suddenly in evening i received a very rude and unexpected mail fm kalyani that my bt home loan application has been closed due to non completion of docs from my end. She attached pf the pf refund form. There was no prior intimation or warning to me. Neither i submitted any such request to anyone. I spoke to annu regarding this but she was not aware of it and was surprised that before closing she could have been intimated as it was her case.
                          It seems that there is no co-ordination among executives of hdfc. They are so rude that they cut the calls with customer before concluding the conversation and close the files without intimation/warning to customer or concerned executive.

                            I have received my HDFC credit card today and I called to customer care to confirm my offers valid on my new card. To my surprise I got feel totally cheated by HDFC bank. As per my first conversation with customer care, I come to know that there is no as such offers valid on my card which was told to me while booking this card.
                            While booking the credit card, sales person and even I got a call from sales deptt. confirming that there is 5% cashback offer valid for my new card. They told me that irrespective of online usage or physical dip usage, there will be a 5 % cashback valid on my card. Only thing is the transaction amount should not be less than 250/-.
                            So I would to raise this concern to you and want you to take strict action against them.

                              I have a current account with the tilak nagar, new delhi branch of your bank for more than a year. I have an international business so i keep on getting wire transfers from us and canada. Usually the funds used to get transferred to my account the next day.

                              However for the last 4-5 times, there have been delays in the transfers. This time it's been heights that the money was sent from my us account on 13th april, however funds have still not been deposited to my account. Everytime i speak with my relationship manager (Mr. Arvind anand), i get a standard reply that it would be done today however that day still has n't come.

                              This is a pure harassment for a customer and such a big issue too. I hope you have a look into this and ensure things get better. This kind of approach leads to people choosing other banks, which i would also do surely. Intact i have already stopped keeping any funds in my account for quiet sometime now.

                                I am Manisha and my card no is [protected]. This is 4 to 5 years old card that I blocked in the year 2012 and paid the left over balance. Then after my mobile no gt changed and I moved to an entirely new place. Last year suddenly my mom started receiving calls from collection dept. for the payment of dues. The calls were made like 6 to 7 times in whole day.My parents are heart patients and cannot stand the calls. Finally they forwarded my number to the agents. But they never called me, and kept harassing my parents. Finally I made a payment of Rs. 5000 on march 31st 2015 on getting confirmation from the agent that he wold send the transaction history of the card and also help me settle down the whole balance. However, that agent never happened o pick our calls once the payment was made. and everything just stopped. Tried calling the customer service, but those didnt had any info to help me. and now after 1 full year, my mom has started receiving calls from the agents again on a regular basis. This is becoming ridiculous now, seems whole bunch of thieves have been sitting there in the dept.                                   Am holding corporate salary account since 2004 with hdfc along with hdfc credit card, in late 2015 "sept to december" had done few transaction and requested telebanker to convert entire amount to 9 months emi, where later-on i was told that only partial amount was converted into emi, and i was under impression that my request has been full filled but that was not the case and was penalized with several charges of 24, 000 and all of sudden started getting calls from hdfc recovery agent and other collection team.

                                  Had several round of discussion including service assurance team and priority address mr. Nitin pimplekar and others tried putting my concern but till date no luck.
                                  I could able to restore the call recording actual request which was placed in september but hdfc doesn't have any system where i can upload those file.

                                  Now the situation, hdfc has frozen my salary account, where have monthly emi payment scheduled for other vendors as well rd accounts etc.

                                  This is really shocking and diss-appointing.

                                    Dear HDFC team,

                                    I have been using the HDFC credit card for close to 2 years now which I was forced to take while applying for a personal loan.

                                    I was told there is not going to be any additional charges such as renewal or anything and its free as I'm a esteemed customer. (I didn't knew that :))

                                    Anyway, the complaint is that I've been charged Rs.572.5 towards credit card renewal & Rs.319.26 as some Finance Charges for which your representative is not taking my request to waive off these charges.

                                    I called the customer service to waive off the renewal fee & felt ill treated by the way my request was approached.

                                    The representative was telling that I have already availed waive off of late payment only during Dec'15 & my request cannot be taken.

                                    The fact though in Dec'15, I had received a waive off on the late fee which apparently was due to the famous floods of Chennai. (In my view, the late charges itself shouldn't have happened considering the calamity).

                                    There is no reason why the representative had to point it out repeatedly and said he cannot consider my request to waive off the charges in-spite of me telling him that you are losing me. Seems retaining loyal customers is not part of your objective.

                                    Would appreciate if my request is considered & the aforementioned charges are waived off & looking forward for better experience while speaking to your agents.

                                      I e-mailed HDFC bank regarding my concern to divide my payments to equal monthly installments but I was told that this scheme was not available on my card and cannot be done. And for the past 2-3 months I am receiving penalty in my account. I requested them again to get these converted to EMIs as I do not have enough money to pay in a single go, else I would not have used credit card.

                                      I was never informed that such a so called “scheme” was closed on my card.
                                      I had earlier purchased an HTC phone from same card and same was paid in instalments. In fact many more transactions were made and never had any issues.

                                      Yesterday I received a call from HDFC Customer Support and they informed that they are sending me a mail wherein I can choose my preference for monthly installment and asked me to remove the complaint, However, I have not yet received any mail. Instead, I am again receiving a call from customer services to make minimum payment. As per my information, the major part of these minimum payments includes the interest which is being levied on the amount which I want to get converted to EMI's. Earlier also I was asked to make minimum payment and I was assured that after the payment my amount will be converted to EMI's. I made the payment but all in vain. I am still struggling to get my dues converted into EMI's.

                                        Kindly note that my name is ravin p. Oza. My credit card number as given on above.
                                        I used credit card facility since 5 years long. I have hdfc youngster policy. My policy payment was through credit card from 02 years. But in december 2014 my last payment of rs. 2148/- was not done through card. But in the same month i refuge autopay facility through card. Then on 09/01/2015 i paid advance to direct hdfc sl youngstar super premium policy no. 15666627 through cheque no. 105559 of rs. 24000/- (12 months). You can check with your staff also. I hereby attached receipt no. A8846800 for this. Now your team force me to do payment to their credit card department also with same transaction. I gave my card payment already by alternate means. I confirm that card is still in my possession. Day by day yours amount occurs & now reaches 7268.94 inr including late fees, payment charges & etc...
                                        So now card is suspended & invalid for use. I send credit card disputes form many times. But regret to inform you that in the absence of a desirable response regarding clear the payment for this credit card. Then amount of rs. 7530 as “hold fund” was direct debit from my account. Beside of this doing you deduct rs.940 also from my account without information. Pls credit my full payment against this soon.
                                        Also you put my name in the list of defaulters. Why should i pay to both sides for same? I have neither authorized nor participated in this transaction. Please waive all the charges that you put on it. Otherwise i would take legal recourse action under applicable sections of the law to seek redress for dues outstanding on credit card account. Last time i send dispute form on sep-15. But there is no replay on it. I suffer from last 8-9 months on same issue. I gave my payment direct to consignee. Pls look into the matter soon & relief me as early as possible to active my card soon as i am your customer since long time. It is not acceptable from your side.
