Respected sir / madam.

Am holding corporate salary account since 2004 with hdfc along with hdfc credit card, in late 2015 "sept to december" had done few transaction and requested telebanker to convert entire amount to 9 months emi, where later-on i was told that only partial amount was converted into emi, and i was under impression that my request has been full filled but that was not the case and was penalized with several charges of 24, 000 and all of sudden started getting calls from hdfc recovery agent and other collection team.

Had several round of discussion including service assurance team and priority address mr. Nitin pimplekar and others tried putting my concern but till date no luck.
I could able to restore the call recording actual request which was placed in september but hdfc doesn't have any system where i can upload those file.

Now the situation, hdfc has frozen my salary account, where have monthly emi payment scheduled for other vendors as well rd accounts etc.

This is really shocking and diss-appointing.

Hdfc bank was amt debited for credit card amt without my instruction and inform to me dt.26.11.2015 amt is rs.7078.99 and after clear my account and dut amt receipt 110.00 in cash collected december -2015 after to day (14.04.2016) my account hold and debited balance amt,

    Dear HDFC team,

    I have been using the HDFC credit card for close to 2 years now which I was forced to take while applying for a personal loan.

    I was told there is not going to be any additional charges such as renewal or anything and its free as I'm a esteemed customer. (I didn't knew that :))

    Anyway, the complaint is that I've been charged Rs.572.5 towards credit card renewal & Rs.319.26 as some Finance Charges for which your representative is not taking my request to waive off these charges.

    I called the customer service to waive off the renewal fee & felt ill treated by the way my request was approached.

    The representative was telling that I have already availed waive off of late payment only during Dec'15 & my request cannot be taken.

    The fact though in Dec'15, I had received a waive off on the late fee which apparently was due to the famous floods of Chennai. (In my view, the late charges itself shouldn't have happened considering the calamity).

    There is no reason why the representative had to point it out repeatedly and said he cannot consider my request to waive off the charges in-spite of me telling him that you are losing me. Seems retaining loyal customers is not part of your objective.

    Would appreciate if my request is considered & the aforementioned charges are waived off & looking forward for better experience while speaking to your agents.

    Call me only if you need more info. Guessing I've already detailed things enough.

      Dear RBI,

      This is with reference to my HDFC credit card (Card No. [protected]).

      I e-mailed HDFC bank regarding my concern to divide my payments to equal monthly installments but I was told that this scheme was not available on my card and cannot be done. And for the past 2-3 months I am receiving penalty in my account. I requested them again to get these converted to EMIs as I do not have enough money to pay in a single go, else I would not have used credit card.

      I was never informed that such a so called “scheme” was closed on my card.
      I had earlier purchased an HTC phone from same card and same was paid in instalments. In fact many more transactions were made and never had any issues.

      I am forwarding below string of e-mails for your reference. I have not received any response on my second e-mail to them.

      HDFC Bank customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.
      Yesterday I received a call from HDFC Customer Support and they informed that they are sending me a mail wherein I can choose my preference for monthly installment and asked me to remove the complaint, However, I have not yet received any mail. Instead, I am again receiving a call from customer services to make minimum payment. As per my information, the major part of these minimum payments includes the interest which is being levied on the amount which I want to get converted to EMI's. Earlier also I was asked to make minimum payment and I was assured that after the payment my amount will be converted to EMI's. I made the payment but all in vain. I am still struggling to get my dues converted into EMI's.

        Kindly note that my name is ravin p. Oza. My credit card number as given on above.
        I used credit card facility since 5 years long. I have hdfc youngster policy. My policy payment was through credit card from 02 years. But in december 2014 my last payment of rs. 2148/- was not done through card. But in the same month i refuge autopay facility through card. Then on 09/01/2015 i paid advance to direct hdfc sl youngstar super premium policy no. 15666627 through cheque no. 105559 of rs. 24000/- (12 months). You can check with your staff also. I hereby attached receipt no. A8846800 for this. Now your team force me to do payment to their credit card department also with same transaction. I gave my card payment already by alternate means. I confirm that card is still in my possession. Day by day yours amount occurs & now reaches 7268.94 inr including late fees, payment charges & etc...
        So now card is suspended & invalid for use. I send credit card disputes form many times. But regret to inform you that in the absence of a desirable response regarding clear the payment for this credit card. Then amount of rs. 7530 as “hold fund” was direct debit from my account. Beside of this doing you deduct rs.940 also from my account without information. Pls credit my full payment against this soon.
        Also you put my name in the list of defaulters. Why should i pay to both sides for same? I have neither authorized nor participated in this transaction. Please waive all the charges that you put on it. Otherwise i would take legal recourse action under applicable sections of the law to seek redress for dues outstanding on credit card account. Last time i send dispute form on sep-15. But there is no replay on it. I suffer from last 8-9 months on same issue. I gave my payment direct to consignee. Pls look into the matter soon & relief me as early as possible to active my card soon as i am your customer since long time. It is not acceptable from your side.

          Number is wrong so your amount could not transfer d, then bandra pf office said me that your advance
          Payment receipt form submitted in your company. I submitted advance payment receipt & cancel chque,
          Xerox bank passbook jan.16 at hdfc life in patna office

          But not revived advance payment receipt in pf bandra office till date.
          So, i requested you please grant me submitted advance payment receipt.

              Credit protection charges (Insurance) is deducated from my personal loan disbursement for pl account no: 38589766 without any agreed terms.

              It's very unfortunate that this happened, when i contacted the contact person namely devang thakkar from bund garden, pune branch. He said by mistake it was punched and will be refund back shortly but it's almost 12 days i have not received any refund. I hope this complaint will help me in getting my money back.

                I have recently closed my hdfc credit card account - [protected] by paying entire due amount on the card on 10th of march.
                In my latest cibil report, hdfc has updated status as "written-off" .
                The status should not be "written off" when i paid the entire due amount which was pending on my card.I even got the noc for no dues from hdfc bank.
                This mistake from hdfc needs to be corrected from hdfc side in my cibil report.

                  Funds depostied for medical emergency are kept on hold inspite of talking to hdfc bank and hdfc credit customer care
                  Stating will do credit card payment in 2 days.
                  Tried reaching hdfc collections customer and tried calling 4 landline numbers given by both hdfc bank and credit card no boday picks the call and nobody responds
                  This is the worst service. I need the amount to be released on priority without any intimation and notification it is kept on hold

                  I am not convinced with the explanation given by the credit card collections manager.. I was told to pay complete amount 59K and get your 20k released.I told the manager to get the 20k diverted to credit card and regularize my card. He says Card is permanently blocked and you will not get any further card and it will not be activated by HDFC. Also I told him the Address in my account and Credit Card doesnt match Why is it linked up. He told we have some criteria we will link and hold funds. Pay outstanding and close your card. If I had to close my card and not to get any card or account with HDFC.. I wouldnt have had so many transactions and Card. Thanks for your worst service and reply.. This is not expected from Collections MAnager.

                  I alredy mentioned amount is required for Medical Emergency... Inspite of telling these things it is not done and infact I have to pay another 40k to close account with HDFC. IF something goes wrong with patient and Im unable to do payments at Hospital Mind you I am going ahead with all medical docs and lodge in National Consumer complaints. THis is not the way to talk to a customer.

                  Hello team,

                  I received the below notice. I tried calling both the numbers mentioned in the notice[protected] and [protected] and nobody picks up the call. I have already mentioned in the complaint id in consumer complaints:hdfc bank complaint status update [id: 1268794] also in http://www. consumercomplaints.in/my-complaints. Html to take the funds and update it to credit card they are not ready to do. Now from where do you want me do the payment keeping the funds on hold and asking me to get more funds and do the payment makes no sense. If i had so much of money why will i ever go for a credit card. Update the hold funds to credit card and i need time for rest of the amount payment. When i spoke to credit card manager i already told him same when executive called me i told same he said he will arrange call from another manager for amount to be updated to credit card but there is no call back till now..

                  Someone please reply or call me on [protected] my cousins number. Its been days time is passing but u people are not working.

                    Sir i want to completely block the hdfc credit card..In blind way we are paying bills of the credit card, , , there are no monthly bills and statement on my email, , no supportive customer care executive team, , , as due to busy shedule we dont have time to look over it but when we think about it it always an unpleasent feeling like saahukaar of classic movies as we paid much more than we used and yet the due amount is there...I advice you all fellows to never and never think about hdfc credit cards...As they will tourture you a lot...They have whole torture package...So remain allert of hdfc matrix...Its not a nice feeling to own it...Kindly help me to how to block it .I will be very thankfull to you..Thanking you dr.Dhananjay pandey[protected]

                      My name is nita desai, i got a fake call from hdfc bank about redemption of credit card points, asked for all information, they said you will receive a message with a code kindly give the code, did not realize it is a fake call so i gave the number with was the otp, rs. 9880/- got debited from my account, the fraud transaction was made to buy a motorola phone from ecommerce portal.
                      I called in for help at hdfc asked them to cancel the transaction and deactivate my card, my card was deactivated and i was asked to fill a form and send it to their investigation team
                      After sending all details required, i get a stupid mail from hdfc investigation team saying that it was an authorized transaction and we will have to pay the bill for it.
                      I dint understand if consumer of credit card is saying it was a fraud transaction cancel everything, instead of canceling the transaction hdfc is encouraging the fraud thieves to do this with others
                      If they could contact the seller from the ecommerce portal n cancel the transaction the problem would have been solved there and there.
                      So now the thief has already received the motorola mobile phone and we a liable to pay for it.
                      This is not fair for a customer who is using hdfc services since a very long time.

                      hi All, the moment you submit a complaint in consumer complaints i[censored] had put your number in the complaint, you would get call from fraudster asking you to share your paytm or bank card details . Be aware of such fraud calls. Just ignore such calls. They pose like bank customer care people.

                        I joined a company . As a joining formality the company has opened my salary account in hdfc bank, it was a salary account and i was told that i don't need to maintain any balance in this account ( it's a zero balance account).
                        Due to some reasons after 9 month i left that company . Also, i called hdfc customer care to close this account, and they said that, they we'll take follow
                        . Up on this. I got no any massage regarding this charge from two year ..He hide me from this, no one told me regarding this..Nor any massage
                        After two year i got massage (-6431.40)
                        I don't understand why this charge for a zero balance account?

                          I had a call from a woman claiming to be HDFC credit card office, ([protected]). She claimed that she will redeem my reward points against my credit cards. She already had my full 16 digit credit card number, and asked for the expiration date and CVV. After a long argument, I revealed the details. She misused my card for the payment of Rs. 2500/- twice to pay online shopping with oxygen wallet and vodafone payment through mpesia. Please try to find the culprits. Thank you

                            1. Late fee was charged without any dues pending, i don't know why it happens.
                            2. When i had payed my all dues within the due date in fact had payed extra over my dues how did my account overdue.
                            3. My due date of first instalment was 05/02/2016, i payed it all on 28/01/2016.
                            4. My due date of second instalment was on 07/03/2016, i payed this all in instalments i.E. On 08/02/2016, 18/02/2016 & 06/03/2016.
                            5. My due date for third instalment was on 05/04/2016, i payed this all in instalments i.E. On 12/03/2016 & 31/03/2016
                            Means i have alway paid my instalments within the due date or earlier than due date. And hdfc has deducted my 800 inr approx. As a late fee.
                            And when i asked about details form customet care helpline of hdfc he/ shr refuses to give the details.

                              This looks like a new fee HDFC Bank has invented to punish SB accounts with No debit card. I noticed that this charge is so far charged to all accounts where Debit card is surrendered or not issued.
                              HDFC Bank is very innovative and will do whatever required to force you.
                              What program they are managing? What if I did not ask them to manage anything new and not want any services. This is unilateral day light robbery or another way of telling hell with your account. Take the charge or quit.

                                I am running with hdfc limited bank home loan with account no[protected] with emi around 33, 000 and an additional emi 3500. I am getting salary 57, 000 where after this emi's i am paying my net, electricity, house maintenance charges which comes around 15k and then i am left with 5, 000 to 6, 000 rupees per month for food. My question is how then the bank has issued me two insurance policy hdfc ergo 71, 000 and hdfc life 90, 000 this to be paid annually. I have been told at that time just you are issue this two insurance which emi will come around 1500 to 2000 and now i am stuck in the non-sense where they are saying you have signed the documents. Question here is is if we read all policy documents do we understand anything over it much of it? I told to their manager who called my for life insurance i can't pay 90, 000 and this things i was literally not aware and done so in the hurry nature made by their executive who with same false statement and commision earnings made me fool. This kind of service from hdfc is hopeless and i never in future would go with a single transaction where this name comes hdfc...

                                For top-up loan when i applied all documents sent and was confirmed the sanction letter will come by branch manager and then in a week got call that due to property evaluation it can't be approved. Fine where is the refund of 2, 000 + amount? When told i will get it.

                                Looters don't make innocent people with hidden charges and terms conditions. Rbi is there and if required i would made attempt to go for enquiry to that level, ...All this nuisance is wasting the time of customer and their hard earned money.

                                Any help on this regards would be appreciated for the name sake else i am happy to get rid from one worst service and falser executives bank...

                                  I am in contact with two hdfc bank person
                                  1) rahul sharma - +91-[protected]
                                  2) shruti desai - +91-[protected]

                                  They have offered me a loan against hdfc life insurance policy. As they told, i have opened two policy one 30000 per year another 35000 per year. They told me they will send the loan paper within 10 days. But it's almost 2 months over, they didn't send any documents and not responding properly now. I don't know whether i am with correct person or not, although i got original policy paper.Please let me know if the loan offer was actually a fraud or bank provide such kind of offer.


                                  They also told if we won't provide we will cancel your policy.

                                    I left job i have not closed down an hdfc salary bank a/c ([protected]) which was a salary account and was converted into a savings acocunt with out any notice nor any information ..When i checked my balance after two year its shown in negatve -6431, when i went nearest hdfc bank a/c jankipuram branch, lucknow i got information bank changed the my a/c into saving without my knowledge ..
                                    He told this is a/c maintenance charge which are -6431 ..
                                    But did not recieve any msg and nor any notice, , how can these charges be waived and cancelled
                                    What i do--

                                    I opened my salary A/C in zero balance after 9 month i left job i have not closed down an HDFC SALARY BANK A/C ([protected]) which was a salary account and was converted Into a savings A/Ctwith out any notice, SMS nor any Information ..when i checked my balance after two year its shown in negatve (-6431.40), when i went nearest HDFC Bank A/C Jankipuram, Branch, Lucknow i got information from bank, my A/c convert into saving without my knowledge ..i got no letter regarding this, and no one told me about this ..
                                    he told me this is A/c maintenance charge which are (-6431.40) ..
                                    but did not receive any sms and nor any notice, letter he escaped me from two year, how can these charges be waived and cancelled

                                    You peoples continuously deduct my amount it almost 1250rs, i have raised so many complaints but nothing action on that complaints, raised so many complaints, i have revived a call from your branch agent her name shewta she so so rude and she said just close you account and also i have sent a mail on you Emil address [protected]@hdfc.com, but yet not revived any revert

                                      Hai My name is Hareesha & my Customer ID is 21958400, i have applied for change of address on 4th april 2016 & it got updated only on 15th april 2016 . & i got a pass book on 16th april i requested to attest the photo of mine on the passbook, but the yelahanka, bangalore branch executives refused to attest the photo of mine even there is a RBI /2006-07/139, DBOD.No.Leg.BC.32 /09.07.005/2006-07 Banks are liable to provide photo passbooks to all the savings account holders.All they had to do was stamp on my photo fixed on the passbook. Was it so difficult? This is the customer service they offer.. Nationalised banks proove to be far better.

                                        Dear Sirs,
                                        My name is Mariyath Velapurath. I had taken a HDFC Life policy No. 14621483 through HDFC Bank Kannoor located in the KVR Tower Building in the year 2012
                                        I was told very clearly that I have to pay the installments for 5 years and after 5 years the policy will be matured and I will be getting back my whole paid money with available profit in 2016 by October. Our two sons Fazil and Faizal also joined in similar policies
                                        14619865 and 14619814 are their policy numbers.
                                        All these amounts are being paid from my husband P T Aboobacker's NRE account with the same bank. Even my id number is registered with HDFC Life as his id number.
                                        Now I am told that I have to wait for another 5 more years to get my paid money back which is ridiculous.
                                        At this point I take up this matter to your grievance cell to have justice in my case and get my paid out money at least by completing 5 years in the month of October 2016
                                        Kindly do the needful and advise me your course of action.
