I called HDFC Cus care on[protected]. On the IVR they clearly mentioned that this toll free number is not valid for Mumbai and other cities. They gave a reference number to call When I, called on that number and enquired about my query and ask them that whether it is a toll free number, the customer service representative told me that it is a chargeable number. It is a clear case of providing wrong information as the number was provided against a toll free number. What action can I take against HDFC and can I sue for providing wrong information and fooling the customer. Waiting for a suitable reply My email Id is: negi.[protected]@gmail.com.

    My brother has took credit card from your bank, due to some financial reason he was unable to make payment which he also informed your concern department that he will try to make the payment asap but your collection agent calling me on mobile 15-30 times a day harassing & threatening me, using abusive language, visiting my house scolding my mother who is Diabetes & High BP Patient, Do you have any documents signed by me where i agreed to make payment in behalf of my brother if he won't be able to make his payment? Are you people hiring professional people or goons in your bank? due to this constant harassment if something happens to my patient mother are you guys going to take responsibility?       Hi Team, I have a saving Account with HDFC Bank [protected], IFSC HDFC0000875. I have transferred Rs.8000/- on 30th June 2015 at around 11.18AM to PNB Loan Account 090200jb00000861, IFSC PUNB0090200. IMPS Reference No[protected]. Amount was debited from my Account but not yer credited to the recipient. I received a message saying the IMPS had timed out and the IMPS status in my Net banking as Transaction Initiated. Request you to Either Complete the transaction or refund the money back into the account. Request you to look into this issue and resolve it as soon as possible regards, Isha Zabi, Bangalore, 91-[protected]

      Hi Team,

      I have cross checked that at HDFC net banking the status is Transaction is initiated. Please contact Bank incase amount is not credited to Beneficiary or reversed. Also, when checked with beneficiary bank's( PNB) side, the Amount had not been credited to the recipient side.
      Please do the needful to resolve this.

        I have received an e-mail from HDFC bank stating the dispatch status of my debit card, number ending 7721 on 20th June, though Bluedart courier AWB No: [protected]. This is request for new card as my existing card is not working properly( at outlets like Mall etc.). After 10 days i have enquired at Jamnagar blue dart office and informed that the card is sent back to the Bank, please contact the Bank. I would like to bring to your notice that the courier company did not even try to contact me or send the card at my mailing address (as per bank records). Suggest you should not be tying up with such courier services. Request to please look into the matter and dispatch my debit card, if possible, to your Motikhavdi branch in Jamnagar. I will collect it from there. Also please ask the courier service provider to contact me on my mobile, if the address is not traceable. My customer ID is 4108348

At the time of opening the account HDFC Bank didn't tell me anything about such deduction of charges & they have deducted Rs.57 (27.5*2) from my account as MWD DECCHG. This amt is wrongly deducted without any intimation. They didn't even told earlier about the same.This is very bad and unprofessionalism as a reputed worldwide bank shouldn't be doing this.             On 28th June, 2015 I received a call from Newcareershiksha.com regarding job transfer and they will be providing jobs in top companies. I have been forced to make two online transactions from my HDFC credit card by giving fake job assurances by agents of Newcareershiksha.com. They are giving assurances of job confirmation within 10 days. I trusted their words and registered with fees Rs 2736.00. Then I was told that to verify my personal documents by the company officials I will have to pay Rs 6954.00 as I was told that after getting the job the entire amount will be refunded, I paid that too. Afterwards I was told I have to pay another amount of Rs 12000 + taxes for some interview grooming. Then I started to have a doubt and I refused to pay the same. They continued to convince me by calling again and again but I refused. They even told that you will not have to pay anything more and your job has been confirmed. I was told that the amount that I have paid will not be refunded as I have not completed the entire process. I think the entire process is not transparent and they are fooling us by convincing people to pay the registration amount and then one after another amount. Kindly look into this on priority as I have paid a hefty amount of Rs 9690.00(Rs 2736+Rs 6954) in vain, by coming in their words. I know it’s my fault to trust others but fake consultancies like these are taking advantage of innocent people who are looking for job. Kindly help me in getting the amount refunded. While the entire amount has been cleared, I have yet to receive the NOC for obtaining the necessary documents. 10 years is a very long time for your bank to complete the process.                     This is regarding my hdfc credit card 3608 xxxxxx 3079 statement for june 2015 in which a service tax of 165.64 and cess tax is charged. I have emi's running in citi bank and hsbc bank. These banks never charged any service tax on interest. I am only paying the emi amount. Also they are ready to give loan on card and without any service tax on the interest. I can share you my credit card bill with you if you want. What i don't understand is are there govt guidelines only for hdfc bank. I feel posing service tax on interest is not a good way as we are already paying the interest and the meaning of emi itself is the monthly installment including everything.Hdfc is not giving any reason till date why they charge this. Hdfc bank is the only bank doing this, at least in the banks that i have come across.No bank charges anything for a merchant emi. I request hdfc to revert this charges on the emi transactions which is not a good way to take money from customers.

                    I am very much aware of the service tax appraisal to 14% by Govt. of India and I did not ask about the service tax on my processing fee. However, I clearly mentioned that you are charging service tax on interest component in the EMI for each month here after. How many times I need to tell you regarding my query. How can you respond this way with out getting my actual question. Below are the merchant EMI's for this month in my statement. You can see in the below transactions that you have charged an amount of Rs. 9.5788 for the first Merchant EMI and an amount of 61.43 for the second Merchant EMI. Should I explain more? You are not supposed to charge any other amount except the EMI and the EMI interest. None of the banks are charging this service tax on the interest. I want to raise this issue and so I raised my concern in the consumercourt. You will be charging this for every EMI and every month here after which you are not supposed to do. Please revert the service tax on interest.

As informed in our earlier response, we once again wish to inform that HDFC Bank can not comment on the operating procedures followed at other banks."

                    Is this the way bank responds ? I know that you have mentioned in your schedule. But how are you different from other banks? Are they not paying service tax to the govt. ? I have 4 credit cards and HDFC is the only bank who is doing this cheap trick. How do you justify that you are exception to other banks. I have also sent you the statement of CITI bank. I want to know how HDFC is different ?

It has been two weeks past, i dont get my credit card at all. although the cedit card number has showing in my netbanking.i dnt know how to collect it. but it is bank's responsibilty to co ordinate their clints untill the products reach to their clints hand. but i am sorry to say that my crdit card issuing branch dalhouse, fail to do that.. i dnt know how can i collect my credit card at all.. please deliver my credit card as early as possible.

                          I am working with IT Firm and holding HDFC salary saving(XXXXXXXXXX2681) and current account(XXXXXXXXXX0769) since 08th-May-2014. I was not using My Current account as My Salary is getting credited in saving account. Last Month, I have got a letter from a bank to take action against my Current Account as no activities are happening in the current account since it was opened. Last week on Saturday, I visited the HDFC AUNDH PUNE Branch and requested to close my Current Account. Today when I checked online Via Net Banking, I was not able to find my saving account details and balance. HDFC AUNDH PUNE Branch employee closed my saving account instead of Current Account. This is ridiculous not at all acceptable form HDFC. Please help me to reopen my saving account immediately as my salary will be credited on 30th-June-2015 else I will fire the case of fraud against HDFC. Kindly do the needful at earliest. Thank You!

                            Dear Sir I am Credit Card Holder of your bank from last 4-5 years. And my card no is [protected]. from Last 1 year I am facing so many problems. Sir I am not getting any sms or email from your bank for the outstanding or any due. Before that even my single payment wasn't delay. I have complaints 50-60 times to the helpline. They don't take it seriously every month I am getting call from your collection department. And also I have request them for the same and every month they says that this month you will get this statement and sms.till the time when I stop payment this month. Then I knew that I am charging interest on the same. When I again request that kindly waiver some amount and I will my all due with in 24 hours. And again they are not listening. Sir Kindly help me if you can help me for this. I still want to carry on my services with HDFC bank.because still I have hope that higher person are take serious action on it.waiting for your revert.

                              Credit card shows "DECLINED" message while doing billing from swipe machines in shopping stores.As per HDFC customer executives there is no any problem with the card and they are not helping me nor providing proper solution for the problem occured.

                                I am holding a credit card of HDFC bank since 10 years (Card No.[protected]). I was working as an asst. manager in a School and was earning well then. I maintained a very good payment record. Due to some personal reasons I had to leave my job and since then I have been left jobless. Meanwhile I kept getting calls from collection agencies to pay amount. I obliged them for first 2-3 months. I had no source of income and facing financial crunch and not able to make the payments on time; still I have made the payment bimonthly. Last month the collection executive (Mr. Rajesh) came to my home when I was not present and called me I responded to his call and told that I am not at home and I can meet at Moosapet, but his response was very rude and started saying that you have a house na why I should come and meet you there, I am not your servant and disconnected the call. But they are not at all listening to me and they are calling my family members, treating them with disrespect and threatening my family members also. Since that time the collection executive is not calling me and directly going to my home and speaks very rudely and insisting my father & wife to pay the money. Yesterday the collection executive (Mr. Rajesh) came to my home around 7.30pm; I have been sincerely requesting him to give some more time or EMI option or settlement and but his response was very rude and starting saying to me and my wife that today at any cost I want the money and I will not go from here until I get the money. Then he called his manager I told him the same, but the response from his side was disrespect and treating like. Actually, who gave the right for them to disclose my financial matters to my family members and this is why are they threatening them to make the payments? My family or friends are not involved in any way with this and I'm the sole responsibility for the payments. Does HDFC collection executive have right to lie and give false commitments to sort out the customer issues? Does HDFC bank have authority to abuse and threaten people to collect the money? Does HDFC bank have authority to transfer the money which is in my HDFC savings account? Now I have had enough of it. Bank should take note of the fact that I had a very good payment history for 10 years so. It seems like there is no way out. I have already paid a huge interest to the bank. Even if the bank wants to settle the amount pending against me all the money that I had paid till date, should be considered. And please stop this mental harassment to my family members as it is not their fault and they are not my legal guarantees. I'm ready to make the payments after two months once I'm settled down or else I'm ready to make a settlement on my card. But I need all my transaction history before I commit and also the letters with all the terms and conditions of settlement sent to my email.                                         i went for a one of your ATM centre which in Arrumbakkam, Chennai, while with drawing the cash the entire ATM centre power went off, their was no UPS back up and the no security, when i enquired for the Security near by the Security guard is inside the near by showroom chatting with the other security, when i called him and said about the incident he was blind and saying i don't know, you call the bank, and he doesn't know any customer care number and their was no customer care number written in the centre, its really worst, then he gave the number of a person who comes to rectify the issues daily and load the amount, i spoke to him he is saying go and switch on the machine it will work, . i done that too and called him and said though the machine is not on, his reply was very rude and lethargic, i said my problems and asked him what is the solution he replied me saying speak to your bank people.. ATM is meant for safety in carrying the cash in a card and for emergency purpose, though you people open a ATM in every 4 Kms and publish yourself, but no service nothing in the ATM centre, really worst in service and the guy who spoke to me was very rude, , worst customer service.. no value for customer in your HDFC Banks.. Such kind of experience i haven't faced before at any banks ..
