I have been trying to update my address with HDFC Securities for my Trading Account[protected] for several months now but hardly getting any support. My physically submitted applications at trading office of Garia was misplaced by the bank representative. Then when I contacted the customer care I was informed to courier the application directly to the Mumbai customer care desk.
Hence, I had couriered an address change request to your Mumbai Office (Customer Care Desk HDFC securities Limited, Trade Globe, 2nd Floor, Kondivita Junction, Andheri Kurla Road, Andheri (East), Mumbai - 400 059) on 6th May 2015. The address change form and the necessary proof were received on 7th May 2015. However, the address was not updated and nothing was communicated to me by HDFC Securities.
Now when I am following up with the phone banking I was first informed that we have not received any application, when I confirmed that the courier has been delivered then I was informed that the application has been rejected because it is not stamped by the local bank representative (which was not informed as a mandatory requirement).
Would request to take up the matter and get my address updated as its not desirable that I again submit a fresh application and incur the courier charges again.
HDFC Securities customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.
