I went to my bank regarding my loan and my personal banker Amit Tripathi told me that you have to pay first installment of your loan and you need to give a cheque right now. When I started filling, he told me to leave the amount blank as he need to confirm it. After waiting for a long time he said there are some server problems and he said he's writing cheque in favour of "HDFC" on it and will fill the amount later. I left and after some time I got a message that INR50, 000 Withdrawl from my account using cheque and it was same cheque but in favour of 'HDFC Life'. I have also filed a FIR for fraud in same issue and also want bank to look into matter.

    I. inderharpreet singh i am usning hdfc credit card platinum plus no of card [protected] this month I am using card approx 20000 for fuel and bank charged me 700approx chargea for this and talk with hdfc customer care regarding this.executive told me if you are using card on fuel above 10000 bank charge you 2.5% extra.but befor two month i was talking hdfc customer care he had told me you are using credit card on fuel above 10 k no extra charges. now why you charged me 2.5% extra Fuel charges.i cant pay this extra charges pls deduct this extra charges becaus i dint have received any msg or call bank side if you using above 10000 than bank charge you 2.5% extra so pls deduct this Charges.

            dear sir, I, Romi keshari n account holder at your hdfc bank and also possess a locker with the account. Sir I want to state that without any prior information on how much hike in annual fee of locker I have been charged 4 times of annual fee for locker for this financial year. I should have been informed how much hike will b there in annual fee, so that if could not afford it I would have leave the locker. Earlier I was paying Rs. 1000 for small locker in varanasi city. But this year I have been charged Rs. 5000 without any information. Sir I want my money back n don't want to continue locker service at your bank, as many other banks are also providing locker including nationalised banks at much cheaper rates.             I have also faced the same issue. locker charges revised from 1000 to 5000 and the amount has been deducted from my account without my authorization. This is not acceptable. i'm planning to approach a lawyer / consumer court.
            Even for me they deducted 10000 on April 1st 2015 and today again they deducted 1500 for Medium size locker.. Sadashivnagar branch is too dangeorous . Why they deduct so much ?
            For Trichy Area for a small locker increased from Rs. 700 to Rs. 7000 and for this Tax also debited from account. Almost 10 times more. Is there any control on banks charges. Bank say SMS and courier send for Hike. why no wide publicity given on news paper or on the HDFC website for the increase of locker rental charges. banks know how to loot money from customers.

            I have bank account in khanna Punjab, similarly locker charges has been debited from my account, last year it was 750 now they have deducted 7000 & 850 tax . I am going to leave this bloody bank .

            Hi All,

            My name is Surendra, i have an joint account with my wife in HDFC
            bank in Kalkere NRI layout bank Bangalore.
            We have taken a small size locker in this Branch since last four year
            and used to pay 1000/- as rental charges each year as per initial agreement but
            this year HDFC charged 7000/- for rental and 823rupees as service charges directly
            debit from my account on 3-May-2015 without any prior notice /intimation or new
            fresh agreement.


            When contacted directly to the branch manager, on 29-may-2015 HDFC
            bank in Kalkere NRI layout bank Bangalore, he said, rates has been revised across All India and rental rates are
            same in all the branches of HDFC with respect to size of the locker, which was
            not true when i enquiry with other branch near by Ramamurthy Nagar which they
            are charging 5000/- for small size locker. When i requested for the circular/communication
            which branch offices might receive from
            Head office regarding the rate hike and new charges, he said, it has been communicated
            verbally to all branches and there is no document as such they received.

            And finally after so many discussions he send me a mail from his
            office mail id with below mail.

            locker rent revision:


            Our locker rents were last revised in 2010 .

            delivery we are constrained to increase the locker rents.


            The Rack rate of your locker is Rs. 7000/- plus service tax .


            As discussed I would like to inform you that
            we will reverse the Locker rentals charged to your Savings Accounts along with
            service charges in case you wish to surrender your locker by 30th May 2015.

            My question here is

            How Bank can debit the Rental charges of Locker without informing
            the customer?


            (By law: Rental of service/
            property should be mutual argument between two parties which needs to be agreed
            upon by both parties and signed before it can be executed. Here if they have increased
            the Rental rates from 1000/- to 7000/- which is 600% rise without prior notice
            and debited from my account, which is unethical in any business practice.)


            How they are black mailing customers,
            if you don’t wish to pay then surrender by tomorrow.
            What happen to the money HDFC hold it up in HDFC Bank account for month or two month of
            rental charges of Lakhs of customer of cores
            of money who don’t want to continue further locker after Knowing this unethical
            business practice, do HDFC will return the money with interest?
            How the rental rate of lockers are fluctuating in Large between
            braches which are 500 meter apart.
            There is a big question to all the customer of HDFC, If HDFC Bank can debit any amount from your account without taking
            your consent or without informing you then they can do anything to your money.


            Do you feel your money/Valuables are safe in HDFC bank, I don’t.


            I am Quitting. Please join hands of quit HDFC Bank movement...
            This incident needs to sued and HDFC needs to be respond back. If everyone o[censored]s can join in group this incident will gain momentum to fight across the unethical practices of HDFC bank.
            I wonder who has awarded HDFC with awards like the best bank or most customer friendly bank and so on...This locker rent hike is definitely not reflecting this. While other banks are still collecting a reasonable amount as locker rent, HDFC is literally sucking the hard earned money of its customers. I have a feeling that HDFC is more interested in people who are willing to transact with them as per their terms. I am feeling really hurt that they have cheated and misused our trust.

I will never recommend anybody to purchase any policy from hdfc life as the service is very poor & pathetic & horrible.                     Hi, Previously I had salary account with HDFC bank(Bhandarkar Road Branch, Pune) but I changed to another bank way back in 2013 due to transfer reasons. After that I didn't checked my account balance as my Closing Balance was INR 0.00. Recently I logged in to my account and to my surprise current balance is INR -2, 769.52. I was told that it was a zero balance account and it will be closed automatically due to non usage. Kindly look into this on priority and expedite from your end for account closure.                         Hi Team, Myself Tamal Modak, address – Sonarpur Baidyapara, kolkata – 700150, Mob no – [protected] / [protected]. On 10th Feb’15 I have applied a HDFC Credit Card & filled up an application form. After one month I received the HDFC Credit Card ( [protected] ) through Blue Dart and then after Pin no. Today I received a call from the no[protected]. The lady tells me that I have to apply for a mediclaim and also a card protection policy. When I say I don’t want to do such kind of things, she told me that I have to pay for that if I am go for it or not. When I applied for the card, or when I signup the application form no one tell me about this. I just applied for a LTF Credit Card. Now I don’t want to use the credit card. From 9th November 2006 to 29th February 2012 I am a employee of HDFC Bank sister concern HBL Global Pvt. Ltd. I am totally upset that this kind of false promise having with me. Please do the needful.

                          It's around 3 years I have been repaying my loan dues exactly on 4th of every month without fail since 2012. It's this month March 2015 that I happened to miss the due date and had insufficient funds in account on 4th, to which bank couldn't able to deduct the loan dues. So, on 9th March 2015 they called me on my number and intimidated about the overdue, so I with all my effort collected the enough amount and deposited into my account. To my surprise they not only deducted the loan due amount but an extra amount of rupees 618 as bounced EMI from loan account on 9th March 2015. Just for 5 day of miss and I was charged a fine of 618 for a loan of 200, 000/- Not only that over this they also deducted rupees 355 from my saving account, when asked they say it's valid deduction. I am not able to understand it was due to a loan account, to which loan account deducted 618 rupees which is much more than anyone can expect and that too for just 5 days. Again they are deducing 355 rupees from my saving account. In total I got charged for approx 1000 for 5 days of overdue on a loan amount of 200, 000. Such a shameful deductions and still they calling these deduction valid. Why I said this deduction appalling is because I was carrying my debit card and tried withdrawing my amount and got the ATM message that you have insufficient balance, I was shocked. As according to me there should have been balance in my account. I was never intimidated about any of the deductions and HDFC bank deducted all on it's own. Be careful if you carry HDFC cards. They are like greedy monsters just ready to loot your hard earned. I'm very appalled by this incident of HDFC Bank and will very soon be closing my association with it. If they don't return all the invalid charges.

                              I am a customer with the Bank for more than a year now. I asked them to install an EDC machine at my Gurgaon office. They said it would take 10 days. After 10 Days when I called them, they said, it would take 10 more days. Even tose 10 days have passed and I have not got the machine still. I have made a loss on business over the last one month waiting for the machine and have also faced harassment for the same.

                                    I am Ravindra Rajpoot from Noida (NCR), I would like to share my experience with HDFC services and Branch employee. Here is my A/C no – [protected] . I have raise a request for my cheque book from Noida sector branch 12, after couple of day I got a message from HDFC that you cheque book has been sent to Noida Sector 16 branch and even I got a call from sector 16 branch employee about cheque book delivery . Today I went to branch 16 at morning 9:20, then i found that branch opened at 9:40 AM, I thing which should we open at 9:30. That is fine if need to wait to 20 min to get a good services from branch. I asked to branch employee that please give me a cheque book but after 5 min branch employee told me that sir we do not have cheque book here, that you will collect from your home branch, I was shocked and I said sir I got a message as well as call from branch, again he were telling me that you have to go to branch 12 to collect your check book. Here my question is who will be a responsible for my valuable time which I have spent in branch 16 for my check who will notify me about this status change of my check book. Please take some positive action as I have the proof of his abuse and ill behaviour.                                         I got a phone call from HDFC person and I am agreed to open insurance, at that time she said that insurance money will be credited again if anything not happen bad with me, but after some days, I got the paper of insurance showing me that the money will not be refunded after 6 months. Then I raised a complaint to deactivate the policy, Insurance person lodge the request and they are agreed to pay whole money that was deducted from my credit card, but it was going back to credit card department of HDFC, she said that there is no relationship between ERGO and HDFC so ERGO will not pay back to HDFC so you have to pay whole money with cancellation charge Rs.11500 within 15 days. So I decided to continue the policy but some persons are getting benefits if I am continuing my policy.                                         My name is Mohandass David, I bought a new HDFC TIMES CARD credit card while Issuing the card they told the Health insurance is mandatory with this card and I confirmed for that and they debited the amount of RS.4579 and converted as an EMI of 12 month tenure(Loan No.[protected] and the documents are dispatched to my office address with policy number 90188475. And after some day some customer care executive called and they asks for confirmation of card activation, but I told them my card is already activated and they told that documents are just for policy details and that card is duplicate card the original card will be sent after your confirmation with the Mumbai team, and one representative will call you soon and you answer yes to all the questions and then only you can use your card. And I confirmed all the questions after some days they debited amount of RS.9173 from my credit card and they issued new policy with the HDFC ERGO numbered [protected], after checked my card statement I raised cancellation request(REF No. 13294902 and the latest is[protected] and then I got call from another HDFC team and they said you can't cancel the polity but the HDFC ERGO team confirms you can cancel your policy at any time, Kindly please cancel the below policy and refund my amount .
