I lodged a complaint (RBI Complaint Ref no: [protected] & HDFC Bank complaint no:APW[protected]JB) against HDFC Forex Card Department for the following reasons –1. Not reverting the pre-authorization charges although I had been communicated that the amount would be reversed on 30th Day.2. Violating the set duration of 30 Days for reversal of pre-authorization charges and now asking for 90 days for reversal.3. Escalation department stating that partial amount had been reversed but no reversal entry reflecting in Card account statement.4. Statement sent to me by email & the online statement for the same card reflects different transaction history.Request you to please help me in reversal of pre-authorization charges charged by HDFC bank although the merchant has provided No-claim letter for the same. The online statement show additional transaction o[censored]SD1679+586.33 which is not charged by the hotel Holiday Inn Express. 1. Statements sent to me shows additional transaction as below – 1. 15/12/2014 SALE HOLIDAY INN EXPRESS ARLINGTON HEIUS[protected] USD -443.952. 20/12/2014 SALE HOLIDAY INN EXPRESS ARLINGTON HEIUS[protected] USD -443.953. 24/12/2014 SALE HOLIDAY INN EXPRESS ARLINGTON HEIUS[protected] USD -532.744. 29/12/2014 SALE HOLIDAY INN EXPRESS ARLINGTON HEIUS[protected] USD -443.955. 31/12/2014 SALE HOLIDAY INN EXPRESS ARLINGTON HEIUS[protected] USD -532.746. 04/01/2015 SALE HOLIDAY INN EXPRESS ARLINGTON HEIUS[protected] USD -586.33 It’s surprising how the statements for the same card can reflect different transaction history !!!Support cases were opened with HDFC bearing ref: FPQ11827, FPQ11828, FPQ11829 & FPQ11830. Although support team had responded that the amount would be released on 30th day, I don’t see it. As per the email received from bank, these charges were supposed to be released to the card account on 30th day. However, no action is seen till now in spite of multiple follow up email sent by me !!! No claim letter pertaining the details of pre-authorization charges to be released. Please release all the transactions for Holiday Inn Express other than the ones which were claimed by the merchant in the attached letter. The card number is [protected]. Hi did u receive refund??
HDFC Bank cancelled my forex card for "prohibited transaction" which is not true. All my transactions have been for air tickets, hotel room, food, shopping, exam fees and the like in USA. I don't understand what they mean by prohibited transaction. They're not even giving me specific details for me to look into. Please advise.

    Kindly notice that i purchased hdfc life click 2 protect plus on 8th March'2015 of premium Rs.12670 through net banking. I have already made the payment but I'm continuously receiving mails to make the payment. I've recieved application number S[protected] which ask me to make payment when i get linked with it. I have uploaded and emailed all my required documents but recieved no sufficient information from you. Please assist me properly with full information as I have made my payment of premium and submitted all the required documents.
    HDFC Life customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.

          Hi, I have tried multiple times to connect HDFC Bank customer care but not able connect. I am using Reliance GSM network and called to these net banking phone numbers are [protected] &[protected]. The interesting thing here is that It is asking "Customer Identification Number" and "Telephone Identification Number". Once I entered both details then call is disconnecting automatically without any proper message. I have repeated this process multiple time but no use but finally I have lost call charges. Worst services from HDFC Bank.

              My car Loan Account No. 24490848 . I had taken loan on 18-05-13 . I pre payed loan on 4-3-15 . But hadfc Bank charged 5.62 % pre payment charges .I want to complaint about bank . It is big amount .Rs. 25603.00 And after closing there EMI also hiting in my account . After complainting to bank they are saying they will returned the amount with in 15 days . but when i asked about interest on that they will not give . They charges us each and every day . and they will not give interest on extra EMI which they have charged . and if Emi get returned after making full payment then also we have pay bank charges for returned EMI . nobody to listen to customer . Keep on calling call center and they have no answer .

                  Hi This is Rejoinder from hyderabad. I had applied credit card (Application [protected]S3) a long back ago and got a call 23th of jan'15 for verification and said the card will be delivered within a week time, again I got for verification after one month card info or status r showing still in process of the card, and I called customer care on 07st of jan'15 again customer representetive said Credit card application is still in progress. Till now I have called 4 to 5 times for the status, whenever I call, HDFC representative is saying still in Progress and check after 2 days, I am very disappointed due to response and processing the credit card, the bad part is whenever I call the customer care, representative says check after 2 days. Please help me in resolving this issue. Regards, Rajender

                    I have been cheated by AB INSURANCE BROKERS PVT. LTD., KOLKATA, by issuing false HDFC insurance policy and debting Rs.40, 000/- from my credit card. They have done FORGERY SIGNATURE of mine on insurance documents. AB INSURANCE BROKERS PVT. LTD., #36 C Topsia Road, Vishwakaram, 6th Floor, Kolkata, West Bengal. These are the compinies who cheat common man. The main person behind this is Bholanath Das, Mobile number [protected], Email id: [protected]@gmail.com, Abisend Guptha, Mobile number [protected]. Now these people are not I will request picking up the call.

                      Hi Sir, My name is Jitesh Patel I have been called by your representative to purchased a policy from your Staff executive named PRACHEI AND ATHARVA who provided the details of the Policy, which they termed as Loan against policy. Sir I have paid 50000 as a premium amount for this policy as the Staff executive said they would provide loan 10 times the amount invested. Sir the amount was paid on 28th of November and it was said that within 10 days I would get all the policy papers plus within 1 week loan papers would be provided the same and max 45 days would take to reimburse the loan amount. Sir but when contacted to the executive after stipulated time no proper answer were provided and they just keep changing the date for which should would receive loan paper but yet haven't received anything. Sir the investment was done totally on the basis of loan amount as it would help to get out of the present debt situation but there hasn't change anything as people from your company are totally ignoring and are not helping which was till certain stage OK but now the financial adviser whose name is Prachei when contacted shouts on me as if I'm begging for something for which I have not paid. Sir taking all this into consideration I have suggested your executive that please do not provide the loan amount as it is getting delayed day by day but request you to please help me with the premium paid amount as it is totally out of interest now. Sir I request you please help in getting my premium amount back... as when I contacted Hdfc customer care no# to cancel the insurance they have said that the stipulated time for cancellation was 15 days which has been over. But it was informed from your executive itself that stipulated period to cancel the policy was 6 months. The reason for such delay was just the trust factor which I had on your people and HDFC life insurance but it didn't work well again for me. Sir request you please help in getting my premium amount back as it will help to improve my financial crisis. Please find the policy details below for your help.                         I have submitted my Documents twice to get the credit card. I also got the Final verification call from HDFC bank and it assured that your card will get dispatch within a week. But in between the week when I track my Card status from HDFC bank's site with the help of Application number it showed that my card is disapproved. I again call to executive and discussed this then she told me If it is disapproved due to internal policy of bank then you will get back your all documents and a letter showing reason for disapproved of card within a week. But now after one and half month passed away, still I have not received anything on my mailing address. Very poor and unsatisfied customer service.

                            Hi, HDFC Life - Term Insurance (1 CR) Proposal # 17325285 I purchased HDFC Life Term Insurance for 1 CR for Rs 20K on 29th of December 2014 from PolicyBazaar.com Post this there was no call from HDFC Life for medical appointment or any promptness. After few follow ups got the medical done with in 10 days. Post this no call, email despite half dozen follow ups. Their system sends erroneous standard mail asking for specimen signature after submission long ago. Customer support each time lies stating my policy will soon be issued with nothing pending from me. I waited for 1.5 month and patience ran out and asked to refund the money as I do not trust this company any more. Despite multiple calls, each time they lie saying will be addressed in 24 to 48 hrs with no response/refund. I need my hard earned money back. Advise to think twice before using HDFC Life for critical need such as Term Insurance and this company can not be trusted as if this is the state of affair when the policy holder is alive God will help during claim.                               My name is Tanaya Banerjee and I have been highly disappointed with the services of your esteemed company HDFC Standard Life Insurance Company. I would like to bring this issue to your notice that I have been associated with HDFC Bank from the last 5 years and I am very upset with the behaviour from everyone. No one is helpful. Unfortunately I took a HDFC Life Sampoorn Samridhi Insurance Plan on 18th April 2013 which was the biggest mistake of my life. I was given all fake commitments from the branch person in Yusuf Sarai, HDFC Bank, New Delhi. I have given my Jharkhand address for the documents to be sent which I did not receive on time as the address mentioned on the policy papers are wrong. People in your company are only busy to sell the product. They don't even take our details properly and its so sad as if we are investing money on waste. Hence, the cancellation period got over and i could not cancel this policy.My policy number is : 16030350 and my client id is : 60731757. It's a five years policy and I do not wish to continue with the same because of the fake commitments. This is not the end. To know the procedure I went to the HDFC Life office in Bikaji Cama Place, New Delhi on 21st February 2015 and met Mr. R.K Tyagi. He asked me to write a complaint and said that I would receive a call in 7 days which never happened. I was not aware that a brand like HDFC can be so casual about a customer's complaint. I am feeling being cheated. I called Mr. R.K Tyagi to know my status of the complaint and he informed me that the complaint has been closed stating that its invalid. I want to ask you all a question that HOW CAN YOU TREAT YOUR COSTUMER LIKE THIS?????? NO ONE WAS BOTHERED TO CALL ME AND WITHOUT MY KNOWLEDGE THEY CLOSED MY COMPLAINT. I am paying ever month Rs.2425 towards this policy and i can not believe that you people do not respect your customer. The amount which I was supposed to pay ever month was Rs.2425 which it was increased to Rs.2462 from when I don't know... The amount is automatically debited from my HDFC account as well. I want my total money back as I have facing a lot of problems after taking this membership. I want someone to look on this matter and get it sorted asap.

                                Dear HDFC Credit Card Team, I am Mr. Bhushan Manapure is your HDFC bank Titanium card holder ( call it my bad luck), I had made almost all the efforts to get the physical statement of my card. I had made almost 6 – 7 complaints/request with your very professional and well equipped problem solving team. On every request / complaint I got very satisfying answer from your team i.e “ Dear sir, we are sorry for inconvenience caused to you, from next month you will get the physical statement at your mailing address promptly”…………….the funniest part is, which is never happened till date of writing this mail. One of your customer care executive has explained me that, my mailing address doesn’t comes under geographical courier services area…………………………Howeve... I got complete Credit card kit, along with the other communication made by the HDFC bank at same address…………………………â�... think to get me the physical statement from your end, I have to change my residence!!! On another communication with your team, I got the answer “ the duplicate statement of your credit card is sent on your mailing address and it is received by Ms. Ashiwini…………………I wonder, I have family member by name “Ashwini” At the last, I think you will consider my sincere request for sending the physical statement ( by default @ every month ) at my mailing address.                                     Dear Grievance cell,

                                    This is Balaji and I stay in Thavarekere, Bangalore. On 30th Dec 2014, I got a call from Contry club saying you are eligible for the worth of 25, 000rs.gift
                                    out of 50, 000 candiates and they have asked me to come and collect the same at Sarjapur, Country club office, Bangalore.
                                    I went their at evening 6:30pm and they wanted to show some tour packages and club membership as a bonus gift for HDFC BANK Customers for 30 minutes.

                                    After validating the hdfc association tie up with Country club from my side by some proofs that they shown to me,
                                    the sales representative Mr.Sundar ([protected]) promised the below things as a additional gift as per the below details upon paying Rs.1Lakh

                                    * Free 7 days & 6 nights all over the world every year for up to 8 person without any yearly due
                                    * Interest free installments for up to 48 months for credit card payment of mine Rs.1.Lakh
                                    * Free Gym
                                    * Free Swimming pool
                                    * Free Spa
                                    * Free Function Halls
                                    * Free Kids summer camp
                                    * Free Kids karate classes
                                    * Free Passes for Events like (New year celebrations, X-mas etc)
                                    * Free Car facility for Site seeing places
                                    * Customer can cancel membership at anytime after 6 months

                                    and when i agreed to go for the 48 EMI option, immediately the country club sales person swiped my hdfc bank credit card for Rs.50, 000 initially. Then immediately I got a call
                                    from hdfc bank asking for enhancement limit to 1.5 Lakhs on the same day (30.12.2015), I enquired about country club details to hdfc bank and they said EMI option
                                    is there and country club is listed in their merchant list. After the confirmation they had to increased the swipe limit to 1.5 lakhs. Then immediately the country club
                                    sales person swiped for another 2 transactions of Rs.34, 000 and Rs.16000. When I asked immediately about the instance EMI option, the sales person told me that the EMI procedure will
                                    take 2 to 3 working days time to process and he got me EMI forms and one more agreement immediately to sign on it forcefully without giving me ample time to read through it by saying that
                                    this offer is valid only for today upon signing it.

                                    When I called the representative on the next day, he says he is busy and in meeting and started avoiding my calls. When I contact to country club customer care people they
                                    told there is no such offer. After reading lot of consumer complaints and fraud schemes about country club in the internet in the following links

                                    and still more, I realized it is the fraud scheme business doing by HDFC bank and Country club combiningly, I had raised the transaction dispute on the very next day
                                    to HDFC bank and sent the cancellation letter to country club customer care people by mail and speed post within 10 days as per their cancellation procedure
                                    (AIRDA norms).

                                    But hdfc bank closed my dispute by favouring to the fraud merchant country club and at the same time there is no cancellation response from country club.

                                    "This is to inform you that All Country Vacation memberships (party paid or full paid) is non refundable under any circumstances once the purchase is made.
                                    This is clearly mentioned in the agreement form that has been signed by both parties.However a membership can be transferred, gifted or sold through your own contacts.
                                    Country Vacations does not sell or assist in terms of contacts.For further assistance please contact[protected]/301".


                                    But there are many cases hdfc bank has refunded to the customer's favour. Few of my friends got the refund from other bank by raising the dispute
                                    and some of them got from hdfc bank also. I had even attached all the bank reference numbers to hdfc bank for the verification, but still they have rejected
                                    my dispute and favoured the merchant.

                                      This is a fraud case. Someone filled in the form and signed on my and my fathers behalf. The photograph is not right and the signature is a fraud. My father sent in Rs 1 lakhs, expecting that they would send in the forms that he will fill. When he found out that the form was filled in in fraud he wanted to get it cancelled. He had created insurance for me with beneficiary being my mother.

                                      The original complain was send in by email on Oct 4, 2014. They asked for all kinds of forms to be filled up and emailed. Then they asked for these forms to be handed in to their office in original. We did all of that (what a royal pain), by around Oct/Nov. First there was no response to email from them. When I called up they wanted even more forms. Anyway all of that got done by November end with my father having to go into their office and submit the originals.

                                      December they told me that the case is approved and money will be in my account in 10 days. YEAH RIGHT!! I have called them several time wasting my time and my energy. Previously I would get to speak to someone. Now Madam XYZ (name changed so as to not point out someone) is not to be found at her desk when I call. Three time perviously when I spoke to her, she told me that she will call my father back in 2 days. YEAH RIGHT.. She cannot call me because I have an international number, though my phone number is in the records. my email is in the records

                                      NO REPLIES TO EMAIL.. NO PHONE CALL BACKS... HDFC LIFE SUCKS AND SHOULD CLOSE SHOP. CUSTOMER SERVICE IS TOOOOTALLLY SCREWED UP.

                                        I Applied a personal loan, that customer care guy asked some document I submitted it, they completed all the verifications and then he asked some more documents, I got ready with those documents but he didn't collected it and after that he didn't response to my call . When I messaged he replied that he was in home town for 3 week, then I called HDFC Coustmer care then they checked with my details and they said your loan application was rejected.
