Hi
I tried to purchase few items on Walmart using Forex Card issued by HDFC Bank, Pune, India.
The Ecom was Active hence I thought the transaction was successful but in 2 mins i received a mail that the transaction has been denied. Gr8..

So now I checked the account, the money is debited from Forex card ($290 Apprx) and Walmart says its not charged only authorization has been taken. They say contact your Financial Institution to check when the Authorization Hold expires. Thats the date, the money will be credited back to Forex card.

When i tracked this with Walmart they gave a complete process regarding transaction and how it works like Authorization hold concepts and all..


Now its been more than 3 days, all working, let me mention that, For all the queries put forward, I receive no good response (what i get is Call phone banking in INDIA, they dont even have US no) i dont know atleast thats what i got for Forex, for the expiration of Hold in normal case. All what I was asking is when the Authorization Hold will expire, that really sucksss... Big time.

I need some answer on that and still awaiting reversal of that non sense Authorization Hold.
It good that I have some extra to spare but if someone needs money he will be dead by the time these people will respond and reverse the amount.

Don't know why they put a hold for 35 days.

Are there any transactions for which this Card should not be used?
Yes, your card should not be used for temporary charges - e.g. paying deposits at hotels, hiring of cars etc. Incase you have paid these deposits using the ForexPlus card and the hotel/car rental agency etc. settles for an amount lesser than the deposit amount or you pay through a different mode the balance amount will get credited into your account only after 35 days from the transaction date.
Sir, My son AREM PRADEEP KUMAR has taken prepaid forex card no is[protected] proceeded to U.K last month. He said to me the card is not working in atm and 500 POUNDS in that card .So give me advise correct operation of cared.

    Asking for Late Payment charges when I applied for ECS
    I am having a CAR LOAN from HDFC BANK,Loan A/c No 15708858 .I Pay monthly instalment of Rs8185/- through ECS.It started in Jan.2010 but in the month of May 2010 EMI not cleared due to server down (my Corporation Bank said) .I gave the Cheque of the same amount Of Rs 8185/- on dt[protected] but after some days bank collection department that is in Rajori Garden ask me to pay penalty for that. I told them about the problem that server was down and sufficient funds was available at that time when ECS had came but due to server down ECS not cleared ...in between in the month of July 2010 again ECS not cleared and this time again Bank charges Penality , I paid EMI by cheque on dt[protected].
    On dt[protected] I visited HDFC BANK B6/3 ,Safderjung Enclave,Opp Dear Park ,New Delhi-19 bank gave me details which I m enclosed I aiso enclosed my Bank Statment details.
    HDFC Bank says their was insufficient fund and no such a/c but their was sufficient fund at that time period and when four ECS & one cheque cleared with same a/c how is it possible there "no such a/c possible" That HDFC bank said.
    Pls help me

    Now a days I am getting calls from HDFC recovery agents, that I have some dues pending for my loan due to late payment of EMIs.

    Dear Sir,

    I am having a CAR LOAN from HDFC BANK, Loan A/c No 16356634 .I Pay monthly instalment of Rs 11, 303/- through ECS. Every month my EMI not cleared due to ECS mandate from reject by bank. I have not aware of this fact. Every month HDFC agent told me thet their are some problem from our side. so it will every month they collect cheque from me.Now i came to know that bank has charges penalty on bounce of cheque and my loan is now in negetive. I told them about the problem that loan collecteor has not cleared me the region and i have sufficient funds was available at that time when ECS had came but they behave me rudely and told that we have no fault. you have to pay the penalty also.

    Please help me. its not my fault. i am not aware of the fact. its fault of the collection agent.

      I had work more the 5 (five) years on payroll of HBL Globle Pvt. Ltd. When i was leave the job, I had comlit all formalities of PF withrowal. I have received partly amt of my PF & Partly cliam is pending form PF office till Oct '2010. 9 months pass away but still I have not received PF amt. I am trying to contact Mumbai ( Bandra) PF office by Phone, but nobady pick up the phone even PRO also. I try to contact HBL Office by phone but there is also no one pick up the phone.

      So what I have to do. for taking PF amt. back.
      I want my PF amt. back

        Hello,

        I have a credit card of HDFC which I used till about last year and then stopped because I was out of the country and couldnt make the payment for that toime and the bank blocked my card. It was fine as it was my mistake. When I came back I called them told them to unblock the card and I will make the payment due. They said they cannot unblock it but I told them that I will clear the entire dues.

        The entire dues have been cleared in different monthy installments but the collection dept keeps calling my parents in Delhi again and again saying your amount is overdue. Then one guy named YASH WARDHAN SHARMA (senior manager) called up my father and said that all dues are paid and if you want a no dues certificate then just pay 650 rs on the same day and claim the no dues certificate. My father did that.

        Since then no certificate came and the collection dept is calling again and asking for money. When my father informed them of the payment made they said that they have no information of that payment made. So where did the money go? WHy doesnt it reflect in the system?

        And top of that these guys keep calling everyday and bother my parents in delhi. They are literally harassing them and they dont even leave a callback number if somebody wants to call them for clarification.

          Hello,
          Self had applied for a Home Loan with HDFC Ltd by the End of May 2010. Within a couple of days i received a Loan FIle No from them too, however in teh first week of June 2010 i was verbally told by the Sale Executive with whom i was interacting that my load application has been rejected. By this time the processing amount cheque given to them was deposited, but on the 15.06.10 i received a message from my bank that the cheque given as processing amount has been debited from account to HDFC Ltd.

          I am not able to understand that when no enquiries were made & verfication done, only after cejcking my complete set of docs the loan pley was rejected, then why was my cheque of processing amount deposited????

          Even if the cheque has been deposited why the bank delaying in refunding back my amount????

          Would appreciate if people out there would read my complaint & provide email id or phone numbers of higher authorities to get in touch with to get the issue sorted out.

          HDFC — Home Loan Processing Delay

          My Home Loan was sanctioned 3 months back for which the processing charges were taken immediately.
          Till date the loan amount is not dispursed. Each and every time whenever we follow up same old excuse that it is under process.
          I am wondering after the loan got sanctioned why is the delay in releasing the money.
          Moreover, the employees in HDFC dont have the decency to speak to customers. They treat as if we are begging for money.
          Can any one help me in this regard so that no one else should experience this pain. The Bank people should be taught a lesson.

            Dear Sir,

            I was closed above said card on 28/06/2006 by making a full & final payment of Rs.18972.00 according to your settlement offer Letter No19114 dt 18/06/2006.

            Recently a have applied for a loan from some financial institute and i come to know that, above said your card showing in my CIBIL report.

            As per the rule of Reserve Bank of India, you can't file the CIBIL report for settled payments.

            I would like to bring in your kind notice that my actual outstanding was less then settled amount , outstanding was increased due to abnormal charges debited by you in my credit card account. And after discussing everything you have agreed to settled the issue.

            This is very unfair to file the CIBIL after receiving full and final payment.

            I am enclosing here with scan copy of your Settlement Letter along with payment receipts.

            You are requested to look in to the matter and remove the matter form CIBIL immediately.
            Please reapply within 7 days or i will be force to take the matter with RBI

              May I encroach upon your valuable time, I wouldn't like to do this but left with no other option, besides repeated reminders to customer care service of HDFC Bank, and contact with local collection agency, wrote the matter to RBI too. But again I disappointed from both ends.

              This is the last chance I am trying to write you, other wise I am going for a legal action against the Bank.

              Hi,

              I trust that you will look into my following issues which I am facing since last few Months and none of your officers have addressed my concern to my satisfaction.

              This is regarding credit card number [protected]. I was using this card but somehow was not able to make payment for few cycles against which amount of Rs. 7500/- on my HDFC a/c number[protected] was kept on hold while i was in contact of your collection agency for settlement. The problem faced after that was.

              1. The amount of Rs. 7500/- was deducted from the account without my prior authorisation and i was told by collection officer that now card would be settled against the amount deducted.

              2. On asking for settlement letter they said is sent on address which was never received. So, i got nothing in written but have got recorded conversation and few receipts as a proof.

              3. Now again i was contacted for settlement after 3 Months and said will be done in 3-4 thousand which was pending for settlement but collection officer is taking minimum payable amount from last 2 Months. and said the case is going for settlement and the paid amount will be part of settlement amount.

              4. Now comes the biggest harassment...Again my Rs.15,835/- is again kept on hold and on making enough noise which i can at your customer care, at Sec 17 branch no one is ready to help.

              Looking forward for an early response as things are getting nasty and no one is ready to help. Hope things will be settled down in next 72 Hrs before i need to stood up and go for next possible way and i will get my account functional again.

                  Without any proper notification from Bank, how HDFC can deduct this amount.Hope your bank is aware of the Banking Ombudsman clause.

                  12.Levying charges without prior notice to the customer.



                  Procedure and submission of Complaint:

                  The aggrieved party can file a complaint with in one month to their respective bank. If the reply is not received from the bank or bank rejects the complaint, or in case if the complainant is not satisfied with the reply given by the bank, then the complainant can approach Bank Ombudsman.

                  A complainant can file a complaint with the banks Ombudsman by writing in a paper and submitting it to the Bank Ombudsman office provided in the Reserve Bank of India Website.He can also file a complaint online at www.bankingombudsman.rbi.org. The Ombudsman does not charge any specific fee for filing and resolving customer complaints.

                  There is no such specific procedure for filing a complaint.The complaint should have the name and address of the complainant, name and address of the branch or office of the bank against which a complaint is lodged, facts regarding the complaint supported by documents if any, the nature and extent of loss suffered by the complainant, relief sought from the Ombudsman and declaration about the compliance of conditions and terms which has to be complied by the complainant.


                  Amount of Compensation:

                  The Bank Ombudsman may award compensation for the loss suffered by complainant or Rs.10 lakhs whichever is less only after verifying the documents and after finding out the case is genuine .In case of complaints relating to credit cards operations, mental agony and harassment the amount to the extent of Rs. 1 lakh is given to the complainant.

                  Award by Bank Ombudsman:

                  After an award is passed, its copy is sent to complainant and to the bank on which the complaint was made.It is open to the complainant to accept the award in full and final settlement or reject it.If either party is aggrieved by the award, they can file an appeal within 45 days of date of receipt of award.The appellate authority is the deputy governor in Reserve Bank of India who will address the issue further.
                  Sane thing happened with me as in case of manish while my branch is in bulandshahr, UP and as per my knowledge this doesn't come in urban area and moreover i was told by a hdfc bank executive that for older accounts the minimum accnt balance is still rs. 5000 ...10000 is for the newly opened accounts.

                  I agree and am alos a victim of the same. I m moving forward to close the account with HDFC bank. Ridiculous services with a totallly unprofessional attitude.
                  Ther are always ready to call for there promotional offers to all customers but for the account changes they always cheat the customers .. They even dnt hav any time too call or email us..This is ridiculous .. i am going to closer for my account today and the same i tell to my relatives who r going to open new one to not to open in that cheater bank again...

                  I understand the Fee but I checked their website and its supposed to be Rs 750 and not Rs 827. I am taking all my business to SBI now.
                  Manish If I was you I would not have posted my Bank details in public.
                  Hey maxneo11 ...&50 are the charges and extra to that they have added 10.3 % of it as service tax and edu cess so it makes total 750+77.25 i.e.827.25.

                  I don't expect this kind stealing from bank like HDFC..this is pure corruption

                  The same thing happend to me. There was no notification on increasing the minimum balance to 10, 000 Rs. I'm closing the my bank account too.

                  I can say these guys are such an irresponsible.. when they can call us and mail us about the offers and sales details, why can't they inform this issue?

                  I gonna tell everyone of my friends and family to colse accounts in this bank. This is as good as THEFT from my account.
                  HDFC bank is a cheating bank. They charged me 11030 for AQB SER CHGS INC ST & CESS and now nobody wants to take the call. Stay away from this bank... they will slowly empty your account, there are so many hidden charges as well.

                    I was approached by Mr. Sushil from the collections for HDFC bank credit card. before that i was in touch with another branch of HDFC from rajouri garden asking me to cover the minimum amount. once i made a complaint to the bank about treating me and harrasing me for payment, the bank stopped calling me. however i did make the minimum payment as per the instructions. then i had sent a letter along dated 21st may 2010 which read

                    "I have been using the credit card with HDFC for about 3 years now. Recently in past few months I have had a setback with my income and have no source of revenue. I have always made automated payments previously but for past few months it has been difficult. I understand I owe the amount, however I urge some financial relief in this matter. I would be grateful if I could pay the principal amount in 24 installments with 0% interest and all the late payments fees removed.
                    I urge this sincerely coz every penny for me is very important. I am constantly trying to look for a job for earning money. The state of my mind is also not in good health due to constant stress and trauma. I hope you will help me in this case.

                    Card no: [protected]"

                    along with another minimum payment of Rs 5800 where mr sushil assured me that my letter will be considered and the bank will give me an easy pay option as my request. no call or ever heard from mr sushil. then mr sushil calls me a month later demanding another 5600 and threatens me that if i dnt make this minimum payment of rs. 5600 more then he will freeze my hdfc bank account and start calling my relatives and family members and embarrase me. he clearly mentioned that if i make another payment of 5600 my letter will be honoured. again i have not heard from him since. he gave me his mobile number to contact him about the progress. his number: [protected]. i have tryin to call him for a week but this number has been out of reach for a week now. I am so scared that now i m sure someone else from the bank will call me and threated me again for a minimum due. i want a settlement and easy payoption as i m not earning for past 6 months and am out of job. my only question to the bank is: " what if the person does not have money to pay back? would the bank kill the person to retrieve the money?" what would be the last resort.? i wish to pay but without the charges and other excess. i understand i have used the money and i owe. however my financial condition is very tight and barely have money to survive.

                    Please help!

                      My name is Rashi Mathur and I joined the company on 18th march, 2010. My employee code is 58918. I joined in Sec-15 branch and gave them policies. but they did not give me my salary nor the commission. The management has changed and the HR is not at all interested in solving the problem. I wrote them a mail and they replied by saying that my resignation has been accepted. They did not tell me whether they will pay me or not. I have Rs.34,000 of salary and Rs. 8000 worth of commission. Who do I report, is there anyone who can help me?

                          I Sri Niladri Ray is an A/c Holder( SB : [protected] ) of your Stephen House Kolkata Branch .
                          For this quater ( April-June) Bank has deducted Rs 827.25 as 'AQB SER CHGS INC ST & CESS APR-JUN2010' For maintaining Minimum balance I visited the branch , they told me to maintain 10000 Average minimum balance or make a Fixed Deposit of Rs 20000 for not debiting AQB charges . So I opned two Fixed Deposit ( FD A/c [protected] opened 05 Dec 2009 , and FD A/c [protected] opned 02 Jan 2010 ) of rs 10000 each .


                          Now I noticed that there is a transaction on 07 Jul 2010 debiting Rs 827.25 . Is this only to take money from my a/c to HDFC'c A/c ?

                          This is totally unfair on the part of the bank.

                          Even same thing happen with me and I am having 2 accounts with HDFC bank and they deducted 827.25 from both the account. What did you do for same???

                          Even the same has happened with me. There was no prior intimation & Rs 827.25 was deducted all of a sudden from my Bank accnt in the name of "AQB SER CHGS INC ST & CESS APR-JUN2010"
                          I have also faced the same problem.My a/c has been debited by rs 827.25 on a'c of some AQB charges.At the time of opening the a/c, i was not told about that kind of charges.Atleast they could have informed me.They do call but not for giving any useful information but to offer Loan, Investment etc...We have 4 a/cs in the bank and now i will have to close all the a/cs.

When i opened my account they told us to keep minimum 5000/- Rs as minimum average quarterly balance. But suddenly they have increased the amount to 10,000/- and never informed me about the same. I was shocked to see such entry with out any prior information. These kind of malpractices now banks are doing to increase their profit and HDFC bank is first in doing all these kind of things. I would like to close my account and will never go to hdfc bank for any banking needs.

                          I have already transferred an amount of Rs.5000/ from my ING Vysya Bank A/C on 6th August, 2010, it has already deposited into my HDFC bank A/C. But it has been showing that the amount of Rs. 4406 on hold, I have already talk to the customer care and they told me that the amount being hold be credit card department. but I don’t know that why it has happen, where as I never instructed any verbal or written communication to the bank. is there any good reason for that. When I ask him who authorise you to put my savings A/C's amount on hold, he used a statement “ BANK IS AUTHORISE FOR THIS ” and there is a clause under which bank can put my saving account on hold at anytime without my consent. I have never signed any Electronic Clearing System agreement with you guys neither any Standing Instructions so how can you place my account on hold.

                          Also I would like to inform you that 2 to 3 ECS has already running with this A/C for the purpose of HDFC two wheeler & EPL Loan which are deducted from my HDFC bank A/C on 5th, 7th and 15th of every month. So I just clearly inform you that for due to on hold funds it will be bounce the ECS transaction and I will be not responsible for that. Please follow the details given below.

                          This is a fraud. HDFC Bank increased the minimum AQB without informing me through any correspondence and I came to know it through my account statement that they have deducted Rs. 827 for non maintaining AQB. Soon I deposited money to maintain Rs. 10000 as minimum balance. but again on 16 october bank has deducted Rs. 827 again. This makes a fraud of Rs. 1654 by HDFC BANK. When I talked to the local manager, he assured that this transaction will be reversed but it did not happen even after 2 months.

                          HDFC Bank — Increase in minimum AQB without notice and deduction of Rs. 1654 as non maintenance charges for AQB

                          HDFC Bank had increased the minimum Average Quarterly Balance from Rs. 5000 to Rs. 10000 w.e.f. 01 April 2010 without informing me through any correspondence and I came to know it after 4 months through my account statement that they have deducted Rs. 827.25 for non maintenance of AQB for the quarter April-June 2010 which is a fraudulent transaction since bank did not informed me about the change in minimum AQB from Rs. 5000 to Rs. 10000.

                          Soon on 29/07/2010, I deposited Rs. 8000 to maintain Rs. 10000 as minimum balance.

                          On 29/07/2010 I went to the bank and talked to the local Manager Nair about this matter and he assured that this transaction will be reversed within a week. He delayed this matter for a month and after a month in the first week of September 2010, when I inquired about the reversal of the transaction, he told that head office of bank has rejected to do so.

                          Now, since I came to know about the change in minimum AQB after 4 months of the change, the bank has deducted again Rs. 827.25 for not maintaining AQB for the quarter July – September 2010 also, although I had deposited money to maintain the minimum AQB of Rs. 10000 as soon as I came to know about the change in minimum AQB. This is a fraud of Rs. 1654.50 by HDFC BANK.
                          Banks like HDFC nowadays are eating customers' money like anything take this matter to the nodal officer of the bank put your issues with proof and if you are not satisfied take the matter to the RBI Ombudsman

                          who can intervene, don't stop here take it to consumer court. and further till u get your money back.
                          THIS IS TO INFORM YOU ALL THAT HDFC BANK IS FORCING TO DEPOSIT EVEN URBAN CUSTOMERS A/C HOLDERS TO KEEP AQB OF 10000 WHICH IS FOR METRO CITIES.

                            It is now more than a week and I have not received any mail from your end.
                            To add further misery to my already desolate state and mental anguish, I have received a call from your legal cell asking me to co-operate or else the matter would not be resolved.

                            I am now at my tethers end and need to be compensated by you for all the monetary loss incurred by me and also the notional loss by virtue of defamation of my reputation and character.

                            This is also in reference to my telephonic conversation with one of your representatives; Mr. Harish on Saturday the 3rd of July, 2010. I was left bemused by his language and use of words, which only added to my present misery.
                            I was already under medical aid as I’m constantly sinking into depression. My mind is rendered feeble by continuously thinking on this matter and had a miraculous escape last week, when a truck almost ran me over. Luckily I escaped with only minor injuries. I had applied for a bank loan which has now encountered a setback. On the professional front, my reputation has been put to stake and my goodwill jeopardized.
                            My image has been tarnished to a great extent. The mental, physical and professional damage caused is irreversible. I am liable to be compensated for all damages and will file a Defamation Case against the company on charges of false accusation, mental harassment and lack of cooperation.
                            Kindly take note that your constant and regular persecution has instigated me to take a legal recourse.

Nair contacted loan department to PRASHANT and told me that mr. PRASHANT handels educational loan department & he told me that bank need my fathers ITreturn & bank statment papers so i collected all my fathers doucment of ITreturns & 6 months bank statment papers till15 june 2009 and contacted mr.PRASHANT but he was not receving my phone so i went to HDFC bank again on 20june 2009 where again i meet mr.NAIR & i told him about mr.PRASHANT that he is not receiving my phone last few days so mr.NAIR again called mr.PRASHANT & he told me he will send some one to tale all the documents so i was wating till today 23 june but no one came so again i called mr.PRASHANT but he was so rude to me i dont understand the slagoon of HDFC bank that "we understand your world" if they dont wanted to give me loan they would have told first on?????. my 1 month is wasted and now bank is been rude to me. & GNIIT are now not allowing me to attend classes . i am totally blocked and my time is also wasted. i am mentally blocked that i have wasted my one month again to do all procudure from another bank it will also take 1 month how would complet my studies such international banks treat us like this .MAHATMA GHANDHIJI told & thought us that costumer are like god to us .                               This is in reference to the mail dated 01/06/2010 that i recieved; referring to some HDFC card no. - [protected]. The mail was addressed to me; falsely accusing me of the failure/refusal to clear an outstanding amount of 107935.46/-
                              I was flabbergasted to see such an allegation; not even remotely related to me. I have never held an HDFC Credit Card in my lifetime. Your false accusation and charges have put my life into a personal and professional turmoil. I have been unable to perform my daily chores systematically because of the mental trauma I’ve been put through by your incorrect identification. You have sent out a legal notice to the wrong person without even checking through your records.
                              To my utter surprise; I have been put through such a mental ordeal; by a reputed firm like yours. The mistake of your operations and credit appraisal team is now being borne by me. This false assertion has been haunting me since the day I’ve received this notice and has taken a toll on my normal life.
                              I’ve got down to some self research, (wasting my valuable time and resources), and established that this account belongs to a person whose only semblance to me is his name. His phone no. and address were given to me by your help desk as follows (Mohan Gardens-Shadara, mob no: If only your most competent team had been more vigilant it would have saved me some trouble.
                              Kindly take note of this complaint and take back your charges with immediate effect lest I be forced to take legal recourse.

                                  I had account with HDFC bank Calicut branch, I had with withdrawal the amount 10000/rs from The PNB bank atm Delhi but the amount 1000k only I got from the atm and its atm slip shows 10000/rs withdrawal its in[protected]:19 ATM ID D 2150400

                                  13th May 2009 with HDFC Bank and still I have not received a proper response on that. Below are the complaint details.

                                  I have tried to withdraw Rs 4200/- from the HDFC ATM located at Franklin Templeton ISC at Hyderabad Gachibowli office. I have not taken the cash but immediately when I checked the mini statement, it was showing a debit of Rs 4200/-. The same moment, I called up HDFC call center and spoke to Swapna who told me that TAT is 4 days and the money will be credited into my bank account on the 4th Day automatically. As I have not received any update on the 4th day, out of curiosity, I again called up the call center and I was told that I have to fill the charge form and submit that at one of the nearest branch and the TAT for getting the money is 12 days. This is absolutely not accepted as I have missed by other commitments because of HDFC ATM problem and over an above, instead of resolving my query they are always giving me TATs which I am not concerned about.

                                  I want HDFC Bank to answer to my below questions and do the needful.


                                  1) Why I was not informed on the same day of complain that I have to fill up the charge form and hand it over at the nearest branch?
                                  2) Why I have not received any call from your bank regarding my complaint status?
                                  3) Who is going to look after my other commitments amounting to the above amount which is pending because my money is still lying with your bank?
                                  4) Who is going to pay the charges of my calls what I have made for last 4 days to your call center?
                                  5) I have missed my payment dates because I was not able to pay the amount on time to my other banking agencies. This has put my credit worthiness for a toss?
                                  6) How will your bank compensate for the trouble what I had for all these days.?.

                                  My name Asha Bharti MY salary Account in HDFC bank I am withdraw 5000 rupees throw HDFC bank ATM balance deduct but money not to be come by ATM 4/1/13 Complain NO PUNC[protected]. Not any action taken
                                  Ref : A/c no. [protected] with HDFC Bank, I withdraw Rs. 10000/- from Indian overseas bank ATM at Delhi Road Meerut on 01.08.2013 at 08:00 PM but during the transaction due to power failure the transaction was incomplete but when I checked the balance it has been deducted so request you to please reimburse the amount.

                                    I Invested Rs.5000/- in HDFC Mutual Fund - Long Term Equity Fund -Growth Plan in the year 10.02.2006. Folio.No.2690642/26. During 15th March 2006 I sent a Redemption Request to CAMS . But I got a letter from CAMS mentioning that it cannot be redempted because it is a close ended equity scheme. Meanwhile, I checked with HDFC Bank and they confirmed the redemption can be submitted on 1st July 2010. So I again sent a Redemtion request on 1st July 2010. But I got a SMS on 07.07.2010. saying that your REDEMPTION IS REJECTION. When is called the Customer Care Mr. Ganesh, he informed that the signature is mismatching. I informed him I have signed before 4 years. I am signing this signature for all banks. I told him you want to retain the money with you. And he connected to his supervisor Mr.Raghavan, I informed him the urgency of the money.day.He told to get the attestation from the Indian Bank otherwise he told to come directly to his office since today is the last day. because the scheme is a close ended scheme it will take another one month to open.
                                    I just want to clarify the below points.

                                    1) I have the sent the Redemption Request on 30.06.2010 and it was received by CAMS representative on 01.07.2010 at 10.30.
                                    WHY HDFC CAN'T VERIFY THE SIGNATURE BEFORE ITSELF,
                                    AND INFORM ME.
                                    2) The Supervisor, Mr.Raghavan, informed that there is a slight difference in the difference in the signature.
                                    THE INVESTMENT WAS MADE ON 2006, NOW IT IS 2010. SO THERE WILL BE A SLIGHT DIFFERENCE.IF YOU WANT TO CHECK, YOU CAN CALL MY MOBILE AND CONFIRM.
                                    3) He informed that each and every customer they cannot call and ask regarding this.
                                    FOR INVESTMENT PURPOSES,DAILY I AM GETTING NEARLY 10 -15 CALLS, BUT FOR REDEMPTION PURPOSES THEY HAVE NO TIME TO CALL.

                                    BASED ON THE ABOVE FACTS, I CAN CLEARLY UNDERSTAND, THAT HDFC MUTUAL FUND DOESNOT WANT TO GIVE THE MONEY BACK.
                                    I DON'T KNOW IN OTHER CASES HOW IT WORKS LIKE INSURANCE.

                                    HDFC Equity Fund - Growth — Not received redemption money

                                    Dear Concerned,

                                    Inspite of repeated reminders through mail & telephone the matter as still not been resolved. It has been more then a month that I have been following up with your respective department, with no responce from their end.

                                    I belive you would appreciate the timely release of my money that has been invested with you, with the assurance of a good service from your bank

                                    reliance infrastructre fund the nav is not keep rising though nfo june 2009 invested in larger value does realize any appreciation in NAV status even though the stock market
                                    gone from the day to 15%

                                    is any technical fault of investment from the fund manager compare to others.

                                    please reply and please advise would i have to shift this fund to some other co.

                                      Dear Friend,

                                      I would like to make you alert on few details regarding HDFC and other limited companies.

                                      HDFC home loan is a limited company and is not a banking institute.
                                      It is a self regulated financial organization and is not at all regulated as a refinancing institute or is not a Banking institute. Sales officers makes people fool by stating HDFC Home loan as part of banking division. Even interest rates charged by HDFC is very high which is increased in subsequent years.

                                      As such rates of interests for home loan are definitely regulated by RBI but limited and private companies do not fall under their per-view. These companies fall under company Act and not under Banking Act.

                                      At time of taking loan these companies promises low rates of interest and then increases rates of interest in subsequent years, which increases your burden of repayment in form of slow poison eating your lots of money.

                                      I will share my personal experience:

                                      I have a very bad experience with HDFC, My loan of 11 lac with tenure was only 20 years and was promised with 3% discounted rates for my loan account as the company with which I was working was a corporate client of HDFC, so my loan started at 7.25% rate of interest and a low EMI of 8595/- Rs only.

                                      In later stages HDFC revised rates of interest stating that my loan is on floating rates, where as no discounted rates are applied to my account. More on no reduction in rates are done at all even when rates of interest of other banks and institutes fall down. Even when they offer low interest rates to new customers – on my inquiry they asked for a proceeding fees of almost 12 thousand rupees to revise the rates of interest.
                                      My EMI is also revised to 10,526/- Rs and the tenure is now increased. Today even after paying EMI for more then 6 years my tenure of repayment is more then 18 years and EMI is increased from 8695/- Rs per month to 10526/- Rs per month. So I will end up paying money to HDFC for more then 24 years.

                                      So I will end up paying four additional years with new EMI to HDFC which will make me a loss of almost 10-12 lac rupees.

                                      HDFC is offering new customer 8.25 rates of interest where as even when I am a old customer with corporate tie up with the company – I am charged almost 11% rates of interest and I am screwed up by paying more EMI.

                                      I have started legal proceedings against HDFC – and warn you all that dont take loan from HDFC other wise your people will also end up in soup and will have to pay huge for small things.

                                      REQUEST YOU ALL TO TAKE LOANS ONLY FROM BANKING INSTITUTES AND NOT FROM ANY LTD COMPANY--
                                      Ask following questions at time of taking loan.

                                      1.Is the company having word “Bank” in its name.
                                      2.If the company is refinancing company - take in written that – rates of interest in the company will be regulated as per RBI norms.
                                      3.Only those people whose files are not getting approved from banks and documents are not clear enough and are in need of loan should opt for such institutes, but mind it these ltd companies slowly increases rates of interest and eats away your lots of money charging high rates of interest.

                                      PLEASE NOTE – HDFC is a limited company and not a BANK. Only banking institutes or company with word “Bank” in its name are regulated by RBI.
                                      Before signing any document of ltd company please read the terms and conditions completely and take a lawyers advise if needed before going ahead to sign the same.

                                      Please disseminate this information to all your friends and relatives so that they are not cheated by any private company in case of loans / home loans.

                                      I have taken housing loan from HDFC Bank, Vashi, Navi Mumbai in 1999 and they are charging me interest rate @ 15% (Floating) where as market rate for housing loan is aroung 10%. Please help me.

                                      I am the Existing customer of Home Loan has taken a loan in 2017 March under Women Power,

                                      Due o RPLR Rate Increased bank has increased the ROI to General Category 8.8,

                                      As per Policy this should be under 8.70,

                                      Can we know the reason for this, Why Bank is doing such type of things with the existing customer,
                                      We are loyal customer can't expect such things. Which is not acceptable

                                        I had applied for Home loan with my wife as co-applicant a month back. The processing fees of Rs.11030/- was also paid thru cheque. We were allotted an home loan a/c no[protected]Jeevan Deep Building, Kolkata) & asked to quote this in all future correspondences. After this HDFC was silent for 2 weeks in the name of processing the loan. The cheque was also encashed during this period. All required documents were submitted as & when required. On 06/07/10 I called to enquire about the status of our loan & was told by the concerned person that the loan cannot be processed due to some internal policy of HDFC. In no circumstances we were told the reason for not sanctioning the loan.

                                        We have already done the booking for the flat for which we required the loan & HDFC was the 1st choice because of their proffessional approach in dealing with the customers. We are surprised & taken aback by the lukewarm response from the bank. We were clearly told to get the loan from another bank. This behaviour of the bank has clearly opened our eyes & we now understand the way the bank operates with their customers. We now feel completely cheated since the processing fee is also taken & the loan not sanctioned.

                                        We now request you to return the processing fees immediately since we are not in favour of wasting our money by dealing with such banks.
