I have applied for a credit card in the third week of May 2010. I have received multiple verfication calls to both office and home. One of their executives came down to meet me personally at my office and home as well. In the last call I received ( to office ), I was asked to mention the preferred location ( home/office ) for delivery of credit card. However, I didnot receive the card. I called up the credit card customer care ( hyd ) on June 5th 2010 and came to know that my card processing was put on hold as I was unreachable through my office contact number. Also, most of the executives who called me were out of sync with the information already provided to them. Please look into the issue and do the needful.

It will be really helpful to know the correct procedure ( if any ) and the number of calls an executive should make while offering a credit card to any of their customers.

I could resolve this issue by sending a scanned copy of hand written declaration clearly specifying my home and office address/contact details to hdfc bank customer care.

    This is with reference to credit card payments of HDFC bank, i m suffering from very bad service of HDFC card from over 3 years now, recent issue is as follows

    With reference to my earlier e-mail and subsequent conversations I had HDFC Credit Card officials, I have not done any transaction in my credit card. Whatever transactions are there those transactions took place at New Delhi and the same day I was communicated to concerned officials by e-mail from netbanking and over phone. As soon as I came to know about those transactions I requested HDFC card Division to block my card immediately. I'm not responsible for unknown transactions what they have asked me to pay. When I complained to the concerned they have not done anything and now they are asking me to pay after 6 months. There is no action from their side on unknown transactions.After sometime later the bank officials Mr. Shaym, Credit Cards Manager, Hyderabad told me to pay Rs. 12k as full and final settlement. As per his words I instructed my people to pay Rs. 12k and they have paid the amount immediately. Now I'm receiving e-mails to pay Rs. 24k around. I've not done any transactions after my card misuse at New Delhi. After I paid full and final settlement amount Rs. 1k as instructed by Mr. Shyam, again HDFC bank credit card dept. asking me to pay 24k. After telecons and subsequent discussions with Mr. Shyam I paid the amount what I've incurred on the card. Why should I pay for unknown transactions, after I complained to the concerned officials by e-mail from netbanking and over phone. And now they are holding my funds in my account No. [protected]. Why their people are holding my funds in my account. Am I responsible for unknown transactions after making proper complaints and making payment of Rs. 12k?

    As per telecom with bank i was promised NOC of CIBIL on receipt of which i was to make balance payment, after making payment Rs. 12k so far i've not received my NOC of CIBIL. Due to series of wrong promises over phone and they are not giving me any thing in writing i had ask them to give me a letter on HDFC letter head duly signed and sealed by authorised officer stating my final payout and also promising me to grant me CIBIL NOC.

    On top of all now they have stared call my residence in spite of they have my cell number with them, and they are talking to me, my friends and parents in very abusing and un-professional manner.

    The statements always have faults and simply penalized the customer after settling the account. They don't bother the complaints. The only solution is to approach honorable courts?

    Note: I am requesting it last time. After that I am forced move to court. Please arrange someone immediately and resolve my querry.

    As per RBI guideline for credit card w.e.f 1st August 2009 you must have additional password for on-line transaction which is not visible on the card.
    Since I stopped use for on-line transaction so I did not registered my card for additional password/ net secure.
    " Your card is not registered for Secure Pay" This is confirmed by customer care through mail.
    When My card was not registered for on line transaction how do the bank authorised the transactions??

    credit cards — Unknown Persons comes at my house for payment

    Dear Sir,
    I am holding account in ICICI, Ghaziabad, Indai from last six years. And i am having credit card from last 3 years of ICICI. All the transactions done by me are hrought ICICI bank only. My credit limit is Rs. 20,000.00 I have lready awailed limit of Rs.16000.00. Today (i.e 12th Jan 2008) two persons comes to my house and were asking for payment. This looks very much embarasing. My account is having a good balance. My demat holdings are good. And those two guys scares me so much that now i am thinking to break my every relation from ICICI bank and also guide my friends for the same. They are disgusting, and not truely buy UNTRUELY ours.

      I have taken a loan of 6 lakhs from centurion bank at an interest of 13 % as per the following conditions.

      1) The EMI would be 13691 for 60 months
      2) I could close the loan at any time without the preclosure penalti after 6 EMI's( this was the reason I took the loan)

      I'm now in usa and I have paid 41 EMI's( Its taken from my hdfc account as ECS) and I would like to close the loan. when I requested a closure statement from HDFC, it is saying a total diffrent scenario.

      HDFC claiming that..
      My loan amount is 6.12 Lakhs( I got only 6 Lakhs)
      Outstanding -2.54 Lakhs
      preclosure fee is 4% of outstanding balance,
      893- late payment( I never missed an emi)
      interst on the date till closing- 972

      So total amount is exceeding the amount I pay the future 19 EMI's. The interest/ principal chart they have given me also is diffrent.
      when ever I write a complaint, they ask for 7 working days time to replay.. sofar 2 months is over. they dont send me the documents also because i'm in USA. Itried to reach their manager..no use.
      So as per my experiance the bank9s) will be very sweet till your loan approve..after that they will kill us..they dont keep their promises..I cant fight for that from here.There is no point of sending emails..

      You pay the legitimate amount by ecs or by cheque or by remittance from abroad. Leave the remaining pending your consent. Write to the HO that you will be preferring to fight in a court of law if there are violatins against agreement while taking the loan.Do you have any proof saying that you dont have to pay any preclosure charges?!
      You might have seen some advt in the papers announcing the concession. These cutouts or clippings are neither kept by the bank for reference. They should put it into the system. You may not have copy of the advt perhaps??
      Such is the case! without evidence you cant fight.They take you for a ride. Today in India, all banks, cellfon companies and all multinationals are in a spree to make the most of the profit by simply looting the public. Public are crooked and not intelligent. They fall a prey to bad companies. People part with property documents without taking fotocopies. Papers can be lost by banks, for lack of recruitment for the past 25 yrs. You cant blame anyone. Nobody is interested in common welfare. We are part of it !
      So let the balance amt be pending a court order.
      or you can approach CERS, Ahmedabad for redressal!
      HDFC is a bank that is full of crooks. My father and l invested £50K with it's merger bank..was Bank of Punjab in Amritsar Golden Temple Branch. Since HDFChas taken over. Despite the the Fixed Deposit maturing sometime ago. They are refusing to return my money with or without any interest. They are the worst greedy people l have seen and l hope soon someone will take them to the houses of parliament over their scandals. There is corruption from top to bottom in that bank. I have worked hard to save that money. All was fine when it was Bank of Punjab.

        Hi,

        I heard a lot of times customers use to cheat banks, not paying for credit cards. But everything is reverse to me here. Bank is trying to make maximum use of my fault with the settlement. Due to some financial problems, I am forced for settlement on my HDFC credit card in 2008. settlement amount was Rs.13,600 as 6 EMI's. On my bad time, I lost job due to recession and I wasn't able to pay the last 3 EMI's and the cheque's bounced due to my bankrupt situation. This is where HDFC acted like they are showing some leniency for his customer. Their collection agents accepted to receive the amount in cash for the 3 cheque's that got bounced. They did collected the amount as well. So, I have paid the Rs.13,600, but I was not able to settle it in the time they have informed in the settlement letter. They are clever and acted like they are showing sympathy to me and they have allowed me to pay as cash and received the Rs.13,600 and after that they have started showing their original image. To be honest, I thought the bank is very patient towards me. I believed the card settlement is done and I got relaxed.

        I have then received a Gold credit card in 2010 from the same bank when I joined a new job. I have almost forgotten about my previous card at this time and never thought I'm a defaulter with the bank. Suddenly, they have started calling me about the card payment and sending letters as well. To my goodness, they have asked me to pay the outstanding amount about Rs.35,000 in the letter. I don't know what to do and what's going on ? I strongly believed I've not cheated the bank at any cost and I ever attempted for this. Also, I thought why should a bank give me a new credit card and suddenly trouble me about the old one. So, I started believing the bank officials have started to cheat me and make use of the improper settlement. You people could believe that a bank could issue a new credit card to one who is found a defaulter with the old credit card ?

        They have started giving me mental torture to me whereas I never attempted to even think about cheating the bank. I can't even believe even now how funds(Rs.9,794) in my savings(salary) account which I hold with the same bank is blocked without any prior notice. Then I went to the settlement division directly and spoke with them. There came one gentlemen who doesn't know anything about my issue, but still discussed and then made me wait for an hour before another lady was asked to take over the issue. She is not aware of the issue as her Boss was in a interview and couldn't answer most of my queries and she herself can't deal with other departments. I'm more than mentally tortured & frustrated at this point. I told the lady that I'll deal the issue legally, I've not mentioned you before that they have sent a legal notice. On the way returning to my home, a Gentlemen named Shiva called and informed me not to go legally which would be waste of money for me. When I asked him about the legal notice they had sent, he told not to worry about that. Also, he informed the lien has been placed by the bank and so the funds(Rs.9,794) will be automatically moved to the credit card as a payment in 2 weeks time. He told me that we can talk about a settlement which will be very minimum after this amount is transferred. So I've to now pay Rs.9,794 + minimum settlement amount whatever they will afford. They have now sent a letter after 3 days since I met them, mentioning the notice to hold the funds from my savings account.

        They have taken the money(Rs.9,794) as they informed after 2 weeks period. The card is not settled even at this time you know. They want me to drop some tears, which I'm ready because of the mistake which I did. I realize something that banks never show mercy to their customers. They know how to cheat their customers acting in a clever way.

          With reference to above subject, I would like to inform you that I am very old and imperial cust of yours , Forclosed C car ( GJ 1 AR 2095)and PL loan with absolute repayment linked with my OLD acs- [protected] , my all family member acs linked with above ac , deposit with you, my own name credit card ([protected]) also having old and absolute repayment acs.

          My wife have applied for debit card and received Platinum card without linked up to my acs and my wife withdrawn cash @ Rs 12000 considering as debit card, as we have not received debit card towards said acs. we came to know after generation of statement that the said cards are credit card, we assume that amount will be adjusted from our acs, but interest and penal interest have been incurred and os reach up to rs 19000k as on date. Your credit card dept have threatened to debit our acs and withdraw said illegal disputed amount directly without ac holder consent. They have not yet blocked our card and expenses are incurring intentionally. If any misbehavior call and visit will lead to criminal complain.

          We have logged complained with helpline no#[protected] but they have inform we shall revert to you, I have also maid call to your credit card office and complain to AVP level – Mr Amar Gupte, but they informed that they will not help they have maid threatening call on my wife and self mobile nos. They informed that ,we need to contact your RM , we have visited your two branches but till date no resolution came, I am ready to pay principal amount but no one have responded.

          I can’t expect such type of services form originations like you.

          We request you to look in to the matter and waived extra charges incurred in my Credit card acs. otherwise we need to closed my trading demat and all saving acs on or before 5th June.

          We appreciate your prompt, and favorable reply and support.

            Sir,
            I have a corporate salary account opened in HDFC Bank in December, i was also issued a credit card from HDFC in November 2008 after lots of pressing from a HDFC bank personnel in Jaipur, when I was posted in Jaipur at HSBC Bank.At the time when they issued the card they assured me that their is not a single penny i have to pay to bank as long as i don't make any purchases from the card. I di'nt used the card even once till date.

            It was some 20 days back, around Rs.8500 was put on hold in my account,when i tried to ask the reason for the same, the bank tried to mislead me by transferring my call from one dept. to another. It was one day when i called up customer care again, they told me that the money has been put on hold because i have some pending balance which is to be paid on my HDFC credit card,when i tried to know,for what particulars they have charged the money, firstly they regreted to disclose but after lot of force and calls from my side they said that i have opted for a HDFC policy for which they have charged the amount of which i have not recieved even a single intimation on my mail or mobile number which i mentioned in the credit card application form.

            To bring in notice,the bank has debited my salary account without my permission or any information,on which i want to file a case of fraud and mental harassment on HDFC bank.

            Sir, when i told them that i have'nt opted for any policy and very well remember that i have'nt ticked on any such option when i filled the form,they straightaway said now the amount have been debited from the account they cannot do anything and that is a final decision. The person i spoke to at Jaipur was Anurag Saxena (Manager-Cards collection),[protected]at M.I road branch HDFC bank Jaipur.

            Sir, my financial condition is not that strong niether have the capability in which i could handle a fraud of that amount.Request you to plz help me in this request and guide me accordingly so that could get my hard earned money back.

                  I have applied for the opening of my salary account in ur bank thrgh a executive RISHI RAJ PAL who is not picking my phone from ur bank one month back and received the kit but on today when i deposited a cheque i came to know that my account is not activated and regarding to the concerned problem i contact to the authorties but not get the proper feedback and refused to give my cheque at the time

                  They harassed me for one year and i want to share my experience with everyone.

                  HDFC bank Credit card recovery department is most notorious in the country.

                  That is the reason they can show very low Non Performing Assets because they never write off any of the settlements done with the customers.
                  They did the same with me for one year. I took the matter with ombudsman, using all the emails that i had sent for one year, the settlement letter scanned copy and the proof of payment that i had done. Now i have received the zero balance confirmation and the write off in cibil.

                  They try to get you into accepting expired settlement letter after which you have no rights. Make sure you make the payment within the written time frame of the settlement letter at all cost

                  *they sent harassing recovery agents on 'behalf of HDFC Credit card'
                  *the agent wanted me to make part payments rather than asking for settlement letter
                  *they tried to make me accept the expired settlement letter.
                  *they did not honour their written commitment made via their settlement letter for writting off the dues.
                  *they kept on refusing on emails and kept asking for more money for writing off in cibil records.
                  * I took up the issue with their "Nodal officer" as well but to no use.
                  *finally i took all the mails to the ombudsman and got the issue resolved.
                  *Till date HDFC credit card department holds that everything that was done is in accordance with bank policies. (only God knows how many inhumane policies do they have in their kitty)
                  *they have wasted my whole one year in followups, mental harrasment, and botheration.

                  Stay away from HDFC bank for all reasons.

                  i shaik nabi has surrenderd my credit cards issued by ICICI has closed my account and got the zero balance statement and account settelment letter from the bank but it is still reflecting in the cibil report so i request to the concern department to please look into my complaint.

                    Dear Sir,

                    I have applied few days back for personal loan from Citi Financial. I have submitted all the documents and called executive after a week to get the status of the loan request. He has informed me that my last educational loan from HDFC Bank is not cleared and so bank has dis-approved my loan.

                    I have cleared all the dues at HDFC Bank and get back my LIC Policy also in June'09. More over, bank has approved my Car loan in July'09 for which I pay EMI of 6500/- on every 7th.

                    I have seen that most of the banks are lazy or not interested to cleared such things and it's a big problem for genuine clients.

                    I would like to know whether you have any rules to get the answer or asking for status from the banks or not. If not, then you are also playing a GAME with genuine clients.

                    If you can do something, let me inform.

                    hdfcbank — remove my name from cibil

                    I recived personal loan from hdfcbank on dated 29/9/2004 LOAN A/C NO..847271 Rs83000. Ideposite full payment acording to bank ON DATED 04/04/2008 . then bank give me "0" balance statement and "NO DUES"on dated 15/04/2008.But bank not inform to cibil till dated <08/10/2008> pl. i request to you cheek my statement and remove my name from cibil.

                      In the month of December 2008 HDFC Bank Employee Mr. Satender from Amritsar Hall Bazar Branch came to me for settlement of HDFC Credit Card and I agreed with him. We have mutually agreed and settled with a amount of Rs. 1,10,000/- ( One lac ten thousand) in 7 installment. I agreed with him and took 6 cheques from me in the name of HDFC Bank Credit Card. The first amount I given approx 17k and the rest rest cheque was blank in the amount column. After few days they called me and said Sir please “ we need some urgent collection pressure plz allow us to clear one cheque of Rs 17k approx” ( i.e. first cheque). I said I am ready to pay you then I have no problem plz deposit and the first cheques have cleared last week of Dec 2008 and my settlement period was Jan 2009 to July 2009. At the time of my settlement One of Rly ticket cancellation was not credited and I told him when it had credit in my a/c I will give you the last cheques after deducting that amount, and they agreed. After clearance of my first installment they told me your cheque is misplaced so pls deposit in cash. I don’t know how this cheques have lost from his custody? Now anyhow I cleared my Rs. 1,10,000/- in 7 installment. After cleared my a/c I called up Chandigarh branch to send my NOC and they said you will through courier in few days. I didn’t got the NOC then I again follow up with them they didn’t pick up my phone. Again In the month of Sept 2008, they called me and demand Rs, 6700 approx the balance amount of my settlement. I told him that that amount I already paid to you through my RLY ticket cancellation, they told me pls forget that amount we are ready to give you NOC if you clear the rest amount of Rs. 1,10,000/-, at that time I was at Nasik, I transferred that amount from Nasik ATM. After few days I again follow up with your reputed Chandigarh branch for NOC, they told my Rs. 2/- is outstanding, if you clear this you will get NOC immediately, I go to ATM and transferred Rs. 10/- or 15/- and this was the last transaction with me. After paying this I again called up to Chandigarh they told me you will immediately. I lodge a complaint to Customer care and told him all this history. Nobody called me after complain. From your Customer care I got one Mobile No. of Sonia Madam who is still sitting at Chandigarh, her mobile no. is [protected], I told him all the matters and request her to send me NOC. She said I will check and get back to you. She neither revert me and nor he picked up my phone. I send him SMS to picked up my phone but I am very regret to say she didn’t pick up my phone. Again I lodged complaint to customer care for NOC but nobody called me.



                      Now I am hospitalized on 13th of May 2010 in Fortis Escort Hospital Amritsar, and my expenditure is approx 2 lacs, I have shortage of money so my brother manage some money from his friends and deposited to my a/c, when required he will withdraw.



                      Still I am in Hospital and it will take time of another three four days to discharge me.



                      Sir, after my last payment of Rs. 10/- or Rs. 15/- (actually I am in hospital, I can’t give you the exact amount, I have all detail in my home) nobody called me. That can’t prove me that they called me. They can’t provide me any prove for further discussion with me after my last payment but I have all called details and SMS details I called to HDFC Bank by date and time with contact no.



                      From last 7 years I run my this salary a/c with you and now I am very regret to say you that without intimation to customer they block my amount as because I have HDFC Bank a/c. Now Sir I request you to unblock my a/c Of Rs. 90000/- from savings a/c and 8500/- from my current a/c. If you have any discussion kindly send me those employees who is involved in this process.



                      I am waiting for you response and I request you to kindly provide me you HDFC Bank Chief Mr. Aditya Puri’s Email id and phone no. I will also share this to him that how HDFC BANK EMPLOYEE CHITTED AND MISBEHAVE WITH 7 YEARS OLD CUSTOMERS.

                      PLZ LOOK INTO THIS MATTER.

                      HDFC bank Credit card recovery department is most notorious in the country.

                      That is the reason they can show very low Non Performing Assets because they never write off any of the settlements done with the customers. They did the same with me for one year. I took the matter with ombudsman, using all the emails that i had sent for one year, the settlement letter scanned copy and the proof of payment that i had done. Now i have received the zero balance confirmation and write off in cibil.

                      Stay away from HDFC bank for all reasons.

                        I have been receiving calls since morning from [protected] this persons claims to be some sub inspector Narendrasingh and says he's going to release arrest warrant which have been issued thru a supreme court judgement in case no. 251C/09 for my arrest due to non payment of credit card dues. I have been given other number of some advocate R S Verma [protected] who says if we depsoit the alleged outstanding amount within 2 hrs he'll stop the issue of warrant. i got in touch with my lawyer and when my lawyer called up this supposed advocate RS verma and informed him that he is a gujarat high court advocate this bugger was not ready to speak to him. they are constatntly calling us after every half an hr that what is the status of payment whether u've made payment or ur making payment or not. the other number from which i got the call was [protected].

                        HDFC bank is using such dirty methods to extort money which they worngfully claim to be dues payable by us despite the fact that supreme court has issued a judgement in a case against icici bank that they can not and mst not use any such tactics to collect outstanding dues whether genuine or not.

                        as a forum for consumers we request you to kindly take up this matter seriously and act against these banks for using such tactics for collecting money.

                        Dear Sir,
                        I would like to complaint against your Customer Care personnel for his erratic behavior. He not only threatened me but also used a filthy language while communicating with me.
                        In Oct’ 2009, I had made a call to the Customer care department for settlement of outstanding payment on my credit card. After which I had received a call on 3rd or 4th of Nov’09 from credit card department (Mr. Abhijeet) saying your settlement has come for Rs. 18,000 which you need to pay in 6 installments. I requested him to check whether it is possible to make the single payment and for which will I be able to get any waiver in the amount. He said he need to check the same & will revert back. Next day, I received a call from the same person saying first I need to clear the outstanding amount for that month & later he can check on the same. In response to this I made an immediate payment of Rs.1380 (Check No 065355 Thane Bharat Sahakari bank ltd.) on 6th of Nov ’09. After that I did not received any call from the concerned department.
                        In the first week of Dec (8th or9th Dec) I received a call from Mr. Bharat Sharma, Personnel from HDFC collection department saying my settlement of Rs. 21,990 has come. I told them about the previous call which I had received for the settlement of Rs 18,000 & asked him to check on the same but he denied the same & instead started arguing. He also started cross questioning me. I requested him just to check on the previous settlement & give the satisfactory answer so that I can make the payment for the exact settlement amount. As he was not ready to listen anything I told him I will check with the customer care or with the nearest branch.
                        On Saturday, 11th Dec’09, Mr. Bharat Sharma again called me saying “kya hua maine aapko do din ka time diya tha? I told him I could not talk to them or go to the nearest branch as have a small baby & will be calling them on Monday i.e. on 14th Dec’09. But he was not ready to listen anything and started using foul language again & again also used words like “ye settlement bhi chala jayega or nahi bharana hai to bhad mai jayo”. On 15th Dec’09, at 3.30 pm, I called up the customer care complaining about the same & they assure me that I would receive a call from the concern department.
                        On 16th Dec’09, I received a call from Mr Pankaj, who listened to my problem & answered all my queries. He also agreed that there was a settlement of Rs 18,000 and the same was forwarded but did not get approved. He also surprised as to how I received a call for the settlement of that amount. He then assured me that he will again check the same & will let me know the exact settlement amount.
                        On 15th Dec’09, Mr. Bharat Sharma again contacted me. I told him that I have spoken to customer care & expecting a call back from them. He again denied on same saying you haven’t made any calls to customer care & was not ready to listen anything. He then transferred the call to one of his colleague Ms. Sameera who was not ready to listen to my problem but instead was kept on speaking for 10 min without listening to me. I heard quietly whatever she said & when I tried to speak, she again started the same record & did not listen to me. Thus I had to disconnect that call forcefully.
                        On 16th& 18th Dec’09, I called up the customer care for my final settlement but no satisfactory reply was received from the executive, I asked him to escalate the call but he informed me that as my card is in inactive state, they will not help me & asked to contact on [protected]/1712. I spoke to executive named Sachin who failed to help me hence requested to escalate the call. He denied the same saying he does not have a facility to do so. After insisting him he said that I will be receiving a call back from his supervisor. On 18th Afternoon I got a call from Ms. Jyoti Swami who listen to my complaint but failed to help me. She instead threatened me of putting my name in defaulters list. I told her I am ready to make the payment only if she is ready to e-mail me the rules & regulation regarding the same but she denied & did not give satisfactory answer & disconnected the call.
                        On 19th Dec’09, Mr Bharat Sharma was continuously kept calling on my mobile as well as on land line and harassed me for doing instant payment. Moreover he has also called to our neighbor place and insisted him to call me on phone. My neighbor is an Old man, aged 72 yrs and he is bed ridden. He stays at his place alone so he told him his inability to call me. On hearing this Mr. Sharma told him “Tumko Jitna Bola Hain utna Karo.”
                        I hereby once again want to make it clear that I really want to make a payment and now I will make the same only if you send me in writing the final settlement amount. To avoid the postal delay you may send my settlement letter by hand delivery and collect the cheque of the same amount on the same date.
                        I also want an apology letter from Mr. Sharma for misbehaving with me and my neighbor.
                        It is to bring to your notice that I have also forwarded the copy of this letter to the Consumer forum for necessary action.
                        I hope taking into consideration your market reputation you will take stern action against Mr. Sharma.

                        I have similar complaint against Mr.Bharat Sharma, he is quite notorious for using filthy and abusive language against Customers. But apparently HDFC bank doent want to take action against Mr.Sharma . He is more of goonda and less of an employee.
                        this hdfc bank person is lier i also got such calls form the same no. on 7th july 2010. telling the same thing. we should unite and get some complain file against such tactics for collecting money.

                          With reference to our earlier mail dated 10th may 2010 and telephonic discussion with your officer Mr Kunal regarding above mentioned subject, We wish to drawn your kind attention that there is no any response received from your side or not received my original TDS certificate till date where is my TDS certificate is going.


                          Then I go to your local branch and collect the duplicated TDS certificate (copy of above are attached for your kind ref.). & I am deposit my income tax return on the behalf of duplicated TDS Certificate.


                          The total amount showing in TDS certificated amount to Rs. 11209, but in the site of income tax ( NSDL ) is sowing amounting To Rs. 5160.62 the above certificate are attached herewith for your kind reference.



                          1. I don’t know what is right My TDS certificated received from your branch or NSDL Side.


                          2. The department of income tax is demanding to more amounts due to wrong TDS amount booked.


                          Therefore you are request to please refund the amount to Rs. 6049 wrongly booked in my account..

                          Kindly look into the matter personally and the need full.

                          Tax was deducted from my fixed deposits and not credited by HDFC Bank. I checked on NSDL site. First I thought there must be some thing wrong with the PAN details available with HDFC. But they are absolutely correct. Form 16 was issued by HDFC but tax was not deposited. This is very serious lapse. TDS of other banks is reflecting on NSDL but not HDFC's.

                            I, Dhanraj Jain have a Savings bank account No#. [protected] in HDFC Bank, S.D Road Branch, Secunderabad since 2003. I am also a preferred customer of the bank. In the second quarter of 2008, I got a call from a HDFC phone-banker. I was informed that if i have a Fixed Deposit of Rs.10000/- with the bank, then I need not maintain the QAB (Quaterly Average Balance) of Rs.10000/-. So, on the phone bankers word I told him to open an FD and link it to my Savings Bank Account. After three months, I was charged a fee for not maintaining QAB in my Savings account. I was completely shocked. I called up phone banking service and complained about it. They apologised and credited my bank account the charges excluding the service tax. But in this period, I had called the phone banking service several times. I was completely shocked again to see that they have charged me Rs.2186.90 for the phone banking service and the QAB charges for the next quarter. It was really disgusting and I thought that if I use the phone banking service, they would charge me again. So, I went to the branch on 06/04/2009 and gave a letter to the manager of the above specified brach stating all the problems I had faced. I got the letter that i submitted acknowledged by an employee ( Mariyala Srinivas, Employee code:S3235) of the branch on behalf of the manager (Mr. Pavan). The manager told me that all the charges that we levied were not fair and that he would credit my account with the charges that were levied. He also told me that such mistakes will not happen in future. But, I was in doubt and at the same time I gave a letter to the branch to break my FD for Rs.10000/- and to credit it into my account. I used to call up the bank employee Mariyala Srinivas every week or two regarding this issue. After waiting for four months, when the bank did not refund the amount, I gave another letter to Mrs.Laxmi on 26/08/2009 who works in the same bank. She told me that she would forward the letter to the Bank Manager and get the amount credited. After giving the letter I again started calling the bank branch once in every two or three weeks and everytime some or the other person used to say that my problem will be solved in three or four working days. Even yesterday (on 24/05/2009) i had called up the bank and they have the same answer three or four working days. I have become fed up with the bank and now I have decided to close 5 Savings Accounts ( belonging to me and my family members) and 2 Current Accounts of our firms.

                            After facing such problems, I would definitely say that HDFC Bank is the worst bank I have ever dealt with. Even ICICI and SBI bank have a better service than this so called HDFC. They do not take care of even Preferred Customers like me who maintain a minimum balance of Rs. Ten Lakhs in a group.

                            Whether a corporate salary account holder or a Preferred customer, relationship managers in HDFC bank sucks. Has anyone heard of bank levying charges against Manager cheques issued 8 months before? According to HDFC bank, even if you are a preferred customer and enjoy services of no such charges, the bank as per their policy has the right to levy such charges without your consent. It has been more than 6 weeks I have been chasing relationship manager, bank manager, greivance redressal forum of HDFC bank who even after assuring that the charges will be reversed within a week's time, they have stopped taking my phone calls and sending irrelevant responses to my mails simply ignoring the matter. I strongly recommend everyone to not engage with HDFC for any time of relationship since I myself will end it soon with so pathetic response on such serious issues.

                              Sir, I have opened saving cum online trading demat account no.[protected] with HDFC BANK with a view that it would be better than ICICI BANK. I am sorry to state that it is a hope less trading account since after 30 second or so the online trading discontinued with " your session is invalidated. Please login again" I have asked hdfc concerned,they asked me to have a yearly contract of some Rs 6000/-. HDFC BANK is befooling public like Icici bank.

                              I am trading through ICICI direct .com.for the past 3 years.Their charges are high[ I feel], After seeing your posting i have changed my mind.Thank u Sir.
                              Sir, I have opened classic saving cum online trading demat accounts with HDFC BANK with a view that it would be better than any other bank. I am sorry to state that it is a hopeless trading account which can not run without online terminal as normal online trading discontinued with " your session is invalidated. Please login again" HDFC BANK is befooling public like Icici bank. HDFC bank/hdfcsec is expertised in deducting illegal amount from the customer account any time in the name of participatory amount/high brokerage charges etc. Basically, it is hopeless bank, looting account holders. I have been trapped in this bank and loosing money in share trading by paying high brokerage/participatory amount.

                              If one remains inactive in the trading screen of hdfc sec for a longer span, its automatically loggs off, its being designed considering the security norms, as basically all secured transaction sites are designed. The brokerage is however lesser than ICICI direct.

                                Hi Sir/Ma'am,

                                Just 3 weeks ago i got a car loan from hdfc bank. I was very happy that i am getting loan from one of the good banks of India. The telecaller executive (Madhvi) committed to me that 11% rate of interest will be charged on the loan amount. Executive (Ramesh) came to my home to collect the chques. I again confirmed from him that rate of interest is 11%. He told me that EMI is 7112 according to 11%. I signed all the documents because I trusted him and bank. I didn't calculate the rate of interest. But When I got to know that the rate of interest charged is 11.01% then I complained about it to the bank. I know .01 % is not a very big difference but wrong committment means wrong committment. My Complaint No. is[protected]. I got a call from the bank regarding the same from Mr. Piyush and later from Mr. Ashish. Mr Ashish told me that .01% is not a big difference and we can't do anything. Just do whatever you can do.

                                I was not in the mood to do anything severe regarding this case because difference was of .01% only. But now I will post it to every forum and I will escalate it to the consumer court also.

                                Please advice and suggest about the worst which can I do in this case.

                                CAR LOAN — different rates

                                Hello

                                I am looking for car loan.I talked to bank .I came across many people of HDFC bank ..they offered me loan with defferent interest rate. someone was giving me @ 9.75, some at 10% and some 10.25 and some 10.5 and so and so.They dont have anything written on site or paper.Even I didn't understand the calculation given by representative. Let me ask u upto what rate finally give me for car laon? Onething, I am not convinced the way handle represntative.Some of my colleague got car laon @ 8% interest rate. Tell me the final rate.Please give me genuine rate and send me details mentioned all the charges.

                                Please let me know why different rate with different representative? I thought to get loan with good interest rate from HDFC but it depressed me after such instances.Since couple of weeks HDFC representative given false rates .Is it a fish market.? there should be properly documented and standardized way of giving interest rates to customers.

                                  Dear Sir,

                                  This is bring to your kind notice that the above said cheque deposited in your branch for clearing on 12.05.2010 and the credit was passed in my account on 13.05.2010 which suddenly debited to my account stating reason of “TITLE OF ACCOUNT WRONG”.

                                  On enquiring from branch it was told that due to title of account wrong So, we have debited your account and courier the cheque on your mailing address.

                                  The courier of returned cheque received on 20.05.2010 evening at my residence. On 21.05.2010,I have visited HDFC Noida Sector-18 branch it was found the title was correct not wrong as stated in cheque return memo.Accordingly mail has been sent to clearing department by Noida Sector-18 Branch and telephonic complaint was lodge by me to customer care vide docket No.DL-219171 and I was told that you will get a call from concern department within 24 Hrs but bank has failed to revert till today.

                                  Number of phone calls made to Mr.Ashraf Ali (RM of my account at New Friends Colony Branch ) and scan copy of cheque with return memo also mail to Mr.Ali and the same has been informed to you also but no positive response from your end .Simply pass on the responsibility to clearing department saying we have nothing to do it’s clearing department who will revert to you.

                                  Mr.Manager in all the sequence you have forgotten one thing that I have open in my account in your branch not with the clearing department. It’s your duty to provide the information related to my account.I will not go here to there to search the information. I am sorry to say it will ruin the Image of HDFC Bank where the people Trust and appreciate their quality.













                                  I was in urgent need of money to clear of my debt which occurred due to my brother hospitalized and I paid the hospital bill thru credit card but I couldn’t do so and I borrow the money from someone on interest.

                                  Therefore, You are requested to investigate the matter and pay interest from 12.05.2010 to till the matter resolved alongwith the damages for the mental trauma I faced.

                                    i have ben debited for ra 14000/- on my hdfc debit card. somebody hacked the netsafe id and password and transfer the amount to mkhoj solutions pvt . I have given the dispute form to the versova branch but insted of reverting the transations they are saying me to check have on my side . (my memory) and telling me i have done the transaction but must have forgotten...??? i insisted to give me answer in writing.. but they are seem to relusctant to do so..

                                    I Himanshu Ahuja from Nainital had received a debit card from your bank after two months which the bank had promise to get in ten days. Then their was a scheme of the bank that by doing the p[ayment from the the card you will get the DVD of which the last date was 31st January 2009, then by going to the bank the replied that the scheme is over. Infact, their are still the pamplet of the scheme.
                                    So therefore I will be very thank ful if this my complain will be listen not be fall on the blind eyes.

                                    Well i recieved the reply from bank that the transaction is legitimate and bank has no liability whatsoever
                                    Well this is very ebrassing...similar transaction happened at the same time on hdfc credit card and those were reversed
                                    The bank is not showing intrest because its my mony at stake tyhe money has already gone from my pocket and tha bank really dont care for it ??

                                    But i would like to know Is there any action taken on the merchants where the transactions were made ??

                                    Also like to add secondery security system on netsafe account login,
                                    wherin the secondery password is recieved on the registered mobile no or email

                                    But the debit card transactions are not reverted
                                    It seems that the people employed at hdfc bank are not technically competent they seem to have no adequate knowledge of the transaction procedure
                                    I am getting very irrelevant answers

                                    It is dangerous to be associated with instate with incompetent people

                                    Dear sir,

                                    Ithink there is some mistake no amount has been credited
                                    The amount you see credited rs 427/- is not reverse credit dear friend
                                    The hacker made netsafe card of rs 14000/- and made actual purchase of rs 13527.89 hence the credit amount rs 427.11
                                    This is not the amount that has been reversed
                                    I am talking about the transaction of 13527.89 to mkhoj which is fraudelant

                                    sir my hdfc a/c no is [protected] maine 9:39 25/08/2012 ko online recharge kiya tha es no ka [protected] wo success nahi hua but a/c main se bal kaat liya
                                    hdfc bank cut down my balance sending a message that is your a/c has been debited by using debit card

                                    this rascation has been done without my permision so help me

                                      I am continously receiving unwanted and thretening calls from the following phone numbers:-
                                      [protected],[protected],[protected],[protected].

                                      These numbers belong to the HDFC Bank, They are calling me for the Payment
                                      collection of credit card bills.
                                      I am already Using the card and paying the bills every month but now they are
                                      thretening me again and again and abusing me on my mobile no [protected]. Also they are calling my residence numner and misbehaving with my family mother & wive.
                                      I requested them not to misbehave but the started abusing me. I politely told them right now I am in not a position for paying this month I will pay only when I have money,but they have started thretening to send anti-social elements to my home who will misbehave with my family members.
                                      I am a law abiding citizen and need help.
                                      An early action on this will be much appreciated
