While applying for the unsecured loan, I was informed by my virtual RM Rupali Rajhans, in terms of foreclosure charges particularly, The RM told me that there shall NOT be any pre-payment charges post 12 EMI's, I sought clarification for the same multiple times (at least 2, 3 times) over the phone, but the RM continued to assure me that there shall NOT be ANY pre-payment charger after one year.
As the matter of fact, if you can have access to your call records from RM to customers, kindly investigate and verify the dialogues we had during the login process,
Now, I have some pressing concerns for which I can't take this liability furthermore so intended to foreclose the loan while I visited the HDFC retail branch I was horrified when I got to know about 4% additional charges as foreclosing clause.
Being a customer I am feeling misguided and miss served.
