    I have salary account on hdfc since 2019 . I was take emi loan from hdfc also one emi was already closed but one more thing last month i was just delayed 2 hour to paid my emi in 5th of November for that’s reason they’re already charged overdue for every emi but again they are charged 236 rupees Emi RTN charges two times in this month .. please inform me why you guys charged me for this??

      I had requested for pf withdrew and I also transferred my previous pf amount to hdfc bank. But I only got hdfc pf amount while pf withdrew. It was not credited till now...

        Have an HDFC bank salary account.

        Have an HDFC personal loan of 8 lakhs, paying an EMI of Rs 17285.

        Have an HDFC home loan for 18 lakhs, paying an EMI of Rs 17359.

        Never been a late payer for the above loans even though this adds up for half of my salary.

        For the first time the account was short of 119.92 at the date of payment for the housing Loan.

        Charges for this taken by HDFC
        Cheque bounce charges - 200.
        ACH debit return charges - 500

        Currently having an account balance of -480.92 due to these charges.

        I logged a complaint online. Complaint no - 5254380. Initially I mentioned only the cheque bounce charges as this was what was charged first. However in subsequent emails I have mentioned all the charges above in very details.

        Attaching the screenshots of the email sent. and the email received from customer support. Customer service has very cleverly ignored to answer the ACH debit charges.

        I have already taken the first step in moving my relationship with HDFC. I have updated my salary account in my company portal to receive further salary credits to a non-HDFC bank. Having a negative balance cause such inconvenience to borrow money during month ends.

        Even when I say this I completely acknowledge the fact that it was my mistake not to have the minimum balance maintained. But if customer service is really there only there to read out the policies and not give a waiver for a genuine mistake, its really doesn't make a good feeling as a customer.

        Bottom Line - I paid 700 rupees when I was just short of 119.92 rupees.

        And they keep saying HDFC Bank Ltd has nothing to do with HDFC limited.

        Here is another finding

        - As mentioned earlier, on 10th of Dec 2021, the account was short of 119 rupees. In this case, neither HDFC bank limited or HDFC limited could proceed with the EMI payment making my account balance as -119. which could have easily been recovered as this is a salary account.
        -On 21st December 2021. there was an ACH debit return charges. I believe this was by HDFC limited. In this case both parties happily put my account balance to negative to process this.

        So HDFC and HDFC bank did not want to help the customer. Instead of creating a minor negative balance that benefits the customer, They can only do it for a bigger amount that completely work's against the
        customer.

        Thanks to the terms and conditions that I accepted. I understand this can never be solved, but just want anyone reading though to know that its strictly business only. Customer service is only applicable within a frame and not outside that.

        And another bitter truth that I realized is that, its hard for an immediate switch of the accounts, and ever harder in covid time. Will be stuck as an unhappy customer HDFC home loan customer for a while, But definitely is looking out on a longer run. It is fairly easy to switch your salary and personal loan account, which is in process.

              Dear All

              There has been a deduction of Rs. 480 as ach charges by the bank whereas I didnot have any EMI to be paid this month. Moreover this has not happened the first time and bank employees are not giving any convincing answers regarding it. I have an account with HDFC for last 10 years and I think its time to end the relationship with them.

                  I initiated a transfer of 800 on 21st of December 2021. The amount was debited from my account and the beneficiary bank still does not recognize the transaction. It has been 4 hours and still the funds are not credited back to the account. Below is the message

                      I have resigned from HDFC Bank, my last working day was 14 sept 2021 and as per organisation system my last working day was 09 oct 2021, I have applied for early relieving for which I have agreed to pay notice pay on mail before my last working day, after several mails still my F&F is pending and no one this bothered even to reply why my F&F is still pending including HR and my supervisor and exit team. Please take strict action against all of them as now it's more than 90 days I still have not received my F&F.

                            I have taken Consumer Loan from HDFC Bank, and I was told that there was a credit card available with pre-approved status only thing I should sign in the application form and there were no verification required as this based on my consumer loan. Hence, I did it.

                            5 days later I got a call from the bank stating its my verification call & said my application got approved and it will be delivered in 7 working days.

                            Again last Saturday (3 days later) I got a call from the verification person and he said he is going to my office for the verification process which is a mandatory.

                            And today, I got the below email stating my application got declined. So I am wondering what the **HECK** is happening?

                            Whether the HDFC bank is thinking that people are such a fools, like whatever the bank says we should turn our head just like that?

                            Also please do let us know, whether is this legal to provide false promises/statements to the customer so to apply the application to meet their monthly productivity count?

                            I am pretty damn sure that HDFC bank has aware this will affect my or any individuals credit score. Then, why these kind of play around?

                            For your reference, if you want I can share all the call details and recordings which HDFC bank customer care persons "said that my application got approved and it will delivered in a couple of days".

                                After I updated new address through online link, they sent me letter and at that time i was not able to receive and it will returned to HDFC, due to this they locked my account asked me to contact nearest branch. This is ridiculous.
