Hello,

My name is Anjali Bajpai and i am using HDFC credit card since last 5 years.
Since right now i m jobless i was not able to make the payment since last 2 months.
Since last 15 days, I am using threatening calls from Collections Department of Axis Bank.They are calling the person whose number I have given as reference my credit card application and threatning him as well.
They are using abusive language and threatening me .

    I am hdfc credit card user. I have been charged with 575 for renewal mem fee incl st & cess which i have never been informed about. The card has been issued as free for lifeline. It just ridiculous to free card.

        I am using personal loan service from HDFC. Since last two year .

        Due to medical emergency in this month I was not able to pay Emi for the month and I called up HDFC. And mailed also about the reality and informed that I will pay outstanding by last working day of month as I will get salary on this day.
        On call Hdfc agreed and unnecessary in background they triggered ECS 3 time in month on 6 the 9 the and now set on 24 the march which charged me as ECS return 450/- Everytime .

        On what rule basis Hdfc trigger ECS more than 1time I n month without informing to customer and charging separately .

        Please assist as I already facing financial issue and due to Hdfc I am losing money.

          I am a customer of HDFC bank for about 10 years and I am really shocked to see and experience their deteriorated and sub-standard tactics to befool customers and elicit money!

          I have zero transaction made on my credit card and they lieved me a late fee of Rs. 500 on one of the previous transactions ( as I was 5 days delayed in the payment). When I contacted the customer support in this regard, they assured me that as this has happened for the first time, they shall lift the penalty on grounds of long patronage with the bank...however to my dismay and utter shock, they did not remove the panelty and instead kept charging interest on the Rs. 500 late fee and now the amount stands out to be Rs. 5000/- Really???? Do you think that customers are crazy?

          How can a bank charge interest and subsequent penalty on a late fee charged--that was agreed to be lifted!! This is purely insane! And to add-on to my grievances, there is no answer on any of the numbers provided ever!

          I have all the details with me and in case this issue does not get resolved amicably, I shall raise a litigation on defamation & fraud case against HDFC Bank.
          Enough is Enough! If you do this to a loyal customer of a decade how can anyone new trust you???

          I am going to close all my accounts in this bank and opt for a better bank for my employees and company.

            I have seen the following charges in my hdfc savings account.

            1. Hdfc has started charging isaqmc-jan-mar17 once every quarter

            2. Inst-alert chg inc st & ec oct-dec2016 - charging for instant alert for the account. When opening the account they mentioned that this service was free and now they are charging

            They should inform the customer before charging. You cannot hold the customer at ransom.

            I am not sure how to resolve this please advice...

              This is to inform you that I have salary account with HDFC bank. I have make a payment of 11663 Rs to a merchant name Anand son's goyal son's zaveri on 12.03.17. the amount was debited from my account but was not credited to merchant account. Merchant has given me a slip of declined payment. I have also filed a complaint in Hdfc. My complaint no is 1274029. Till today I.e 23.03.17 I have not received any update from the bank. Everytime I receive a mail from bank which states that my complaint is under investigation. I don't know how many days will this investigation takes. I am a salaried woman and not a business woman.
              I have written many mails to Hdfc and called many times to hdfc, Everytime I have received a mail that my complaint is under investigation. 13 days has passed and still I am at the same place.
              Copy of declined payment is attached for your reference.
              Now a days govt is promoting digital payment but I am really scared to pay through debit or credit cards.
              I don't know how long it will take??

                1. I took Personal loan on 08/21/2015 and have been paying EMI till now.
                Whenever I deposit the EMI amount in my saving account I am being charged by mentioning "AMB CHRG INCL ST & CESS FOR JAN2017" every month. Due to this my EMI amount get affected and also being charged for the late payment. I also getting calls from the collection department to pay the remaining amount.

                "Please stop this"

                2. From next month I wont be able to pay the EMI, However I will pay the whole pending amount after 2 months.
                Reason for not paying the EMI onwards that I have lost the job and waiting for the PF amount which will be credited on the 3rd month after relieving from the job. After getting the PF amount I would be able to pay my remaining amount.

                3. I wont be able to stay in Gurgaon for long because I am unemployed and its hard to survive without money in Gurgaon. Before going back to home town I would like to pay the remaining amount in single payment.

                I also had the credit card and paid the whole amount in a single payment after 2 months.

                So, Please understand the situation give me some time to pay the remaining amount with the help of friends and after getting the PF amount.

                I am really thankful that HDFC Bank provided me the personal loan and I would really appreciate if you people settle down the above mentioned request.

                  Hello hdfc ergo,

                  My father-in-law is holding a hdfc health suraksha policy. Policy was initiated on 14/12/2012. Last month he was admitted in sri ramachandra hospital for bypass surgery. Still he is recovering in icu with ventilator support.

                  When we send you cashless claim request, you have rejected the same with note "patient is a known case of diabetes mellitus for 20 years before the first inception of the policy (14/12/2012). Insured had not disclosed the ailment while purchasing the policy."

                  I would like to explain you that, around 15 to 20 years back (1997 to 1999) once he has undergone medical treatment for malaria at local doctor at madurai. When the doctor was tested his blood he came to know that the sugar level in his blood was high and advised to take medicine for few months. After few months, doctor was advised to stop taking medicine because of his blood sugar values are normal. There after he didn't took any medicine for diabetes till may 2013.

                  Four years back (28/05/2013) he was admitted at avn hospital, madurai for lumbar spondylosis. Dr. Biju was advised to take blood test upon his arrival for treatment. His blood glucose level was bit high (224 mg/dl) so he prescribed to take medicine for the same. Thereafter my father-in-law was taking medicine continuously.

                  On 24/03/2016, he went to pon malligai hospital, adambakkam, chennai. There also doctor suggested to take medicine for his elevated glucose level. Till 11/02/2017 he took the same medicine.

                  He was admitted to sri ramachandra hospital, porur, chennai on 11/02/2017 for chest pain. After several tests, doctor identified that he is having blocks in his heart blood vessels. Also they advised to go for open heart surgery (Coronary artery bypass grafting (Cabg). Surgery was done on 20/02/2017. Before surgery one of the doctor in the sri ramachandra hospital was asked about his medical history and he informed all his medical history for past 20 years. There he mentioned that 20 years back he took medicine for high blood sugar for few months.

                  He took hdfc medical insurance policy on 15/12/2012. From 28/05/2013 he is taking medicine for diabetic as advised by dr. Beju, avn hospital, madurai.

                  Since last 32 days he was taking treatment in icu. So far the medical treatment charges comes around rs 11, 00, 000 (Rupees eleven lakhs). We don't know when he is going to become normal.

                  He is illiterate and dont know about pre existing disease. Also he took medicine for high blood glucose level for few months in 1997. There after he didnt take any medicine for diabetic until may 2013. Your representative sold the insurance policy singly getting few signatures and didnt ask about diabetic. Now he is in need of claim amount but you have denied. He is not taking treatment for diabetic. He is admitted for cabg.

                  Please review the condition of the patient.

As per guidelines of health insurance while buying health policy insured has to disclose all pre existing health conditions in proposal form which constitutes an important document for all claims In absence of pre existing disclosure, which will be treated as non disclosure & liable to cancellation of policy besides decline of claim even treatment is not connected with pre existing. This is based on experience to my colleague who is having health policy.

                      I have opened Online Savings Account DSA[protected] for Savings Senior Citizens on 18.03.2017. There is no communication (SMS / Email) on the status of my application. And also no representative will approach me to progress my application.

                      When I took vehicle loan, they said every month when they are putting cheque they will call once, but they are not calling and from two months the cheque is going return and amount of three hundred is cutting from my account .. This too too wrong from ur bank...

                          I used my HDFC ATM card to withdraw Rs.7, 500/- at State Bank of India ATM at Madangir, PUSHPA BHAWAN, N.D (ATM ID - S10A[protected], Pin Code - 110062 on 09/03/2017 But money was not dispensed. I received the slip with TXN No.3586 stating "Transaction Complete". But the money was debited on 09/03/2017 with the same TXN No.3586 .                             Hi This is Samim Akram from Navi Mumbai.

                            I had applied credit card (Application #[protected]W1) a long back ago and got a call 16th of March'17 for verification and said the card will be delivered within a week time, again I got for verification after one week and said card will be dispatch within 2 days . After 2 days also I didn't get the card info or status of the card, and I called customer care, customer representative replied that Credit card application is still in progress. Till now I have called 4 to 5 times for the status, whenever I call, HDFC representative is saying still in Progress and check after 2 days, I am very disappointed due to response and processing the credit card, the bad part is whenever I call the customer care, representative says check after 2 days.

                            Please help me in resolving this issue.

                              Hi my name is Ambika. I have credit card of hdfc bank and my payment of this month is due because of some financial crunch which I will be paying today. But I received many calls from Jaspreet and Gurpreet who spoke in a rude language and when the person stated i[censored] can't afford credit card then u should not have it. How can a bank employee comment on a customer like this. I have been paying my dues Everytime and this is for the first time that it is due.

                              I received a call again today and when I asked the person to apologise then the person said he didn't say anything bad. I will be paying my entire credit card balance I. Two months but will make sure no one in my aquantainces takes HDFC credit card ever. The misbehavior of Bank employees has actually made me not to believe the bank anymore.

                              I am an HDFC bank customer, aged 65 years. My banking branch is Raghunathpur, Kolkata 700069 and customer ID is[protected]. I was persuaded by my designated RM Debasish Chatterjee/ Banerjee to open Demat Account and a savings account in my wife's name with false assurance of no maintenance deduction and closing of the said accounts within a couple of months. These were because he very helpless ( maybe pretension) asked for such cooperation to meet the target given to him. For last two years he didn't close those accounts dedpite a series of reminders and I had to pay the price through yearly deductions. The Branch Manger Mr Vinod Sharma was also intimated through host of mails. Fiinally when the closures came about your bank deducted from my account Rs 600+ GST and Rs 590/-. Debasish assured me several times for the refund of the amounts, but didn't. He continues to harass a senior citizen customer for months together.
                              I request you to make Debasish and the Branch Manager clarify the harassment mented out to me and arrange the refunds, if required through penalising your employee.

                                This is really a cheap underhand tactic on part of HDFC to superimpose charges tacitly and furtively without the proper knowledge and true consent of the customer. I hope everyone is as mad as i am about this borderline illegal move of forcibly extracting a fee without obtained a signed authorised consent. Thanks to Mr. karthik, i came to know about this shame on you HDFC for trying to steal in a stealthy manner from the public.

                                i am referring to that Virtual Relationship Management programme. Now i cant even opt out when i click on your opt-out link which doesn't process anything. This is still unresolved. i had to read the papers to know about this new scam. hope everyone is warned and aware of it now

                                  I have been facing issues with the two policies which I purchased in December 2016. Policies # are 18892123 and 18860311.

                                  a) Policy # 18860311
                                  One of your executive called my wife and said today is Maha log in day so we are giving two benefits with the policy one is 20% cash back and a medical card. Then he connect her to Harshita Kaur contact: [protected] and she informed the same thing to her. Under 20% cashback scheme you will receive 12000 within 40 days of purchase of policy and under medical card benefit you can cover 5 members of the family with a sum of 1.5 lac.My wife provided them my contact number.Now another person came into picture whose name was Akash Wadhwa, contact: [protected], e-mail: akash.[protected]@hdfclife.com. He convinced me to take the policy under my name and in return he will provide the cash back for two consecutive years. so, finally we purchased the policy under my name.

                                  b) Policy # 18892123
                                  After purchase of first policy Akash called me again with a lucrative offer to get an Activa free with a pension plan of Rs. 85000.Either you can get an Activa or Rs. 38000 cashback.I refused as I had already purchased a policy.He called me again and said I have to pay on;y Rs. 65000 and he can provide 45000 cashback and in this policy I will get Rs.1850 every month for seven years. again we got into the trap and purchased the policy

                                  FRAUD: During the purchase of first policy after providing my documents Akash said you will again receive a call for documents just provide the wrong address so that nobody reaches you. I got reluctant and refused to provide the wrong address. He said ok you provide the address but nobody will come to collect the docs.as I got suspicious I asked him questions and he gave explanation that under IRDA we can not sell the policy directly. So we are involving third party and you need to lie to them that we are not providing any benefits.

                                  Till today we have not received any benefits and now Harshita is not answering the call and Akash has switched off his phone. I am really in a bad financial situation now as I have to pay my credit card bills and I don't have money to pay.

                                  Either provide me the refund or I will file a complaint in Consumer forum. Never expected such a fraud from a brand name like HDFC Life.

                                  Today Morning I received a call regarding policy HDFC Life Sanchay, A person named Nikhil Rathore as Process Manager at HDFC life as described by him.He called from a landline number[protected] and given me his mobile no. ([protected]).
                                  He ask me for the cheque of 40K after that I called the HDFC customer care and ask for the authenticity of that person, after that I discovered that was a fraud and HDFC people said pls ignore those calls.
                                  So I raise my complaint here please look into this matter seriously.

                                    I have an Current A/C [protected] in HDFC BANK and I have transferred Rs 35000/- using IMPS on 20th March 2017 at arount 11.00 AM to SBH CURRENT A/C:[protected] of Devi Filling Station, Velgatoor. The IMPS Ref No[protected]. Amount debited from a/c but not yet credited to recipient. I got message that it timed OUT and status shows in my Netbanking as Transaction Initiated. .Either initiate the Tranc or refund the money into the account. Please Look into this issue and resolve it as soon as possible.

                                      I have registered my Mobile number on national DND list.
                                      I have also registered the same mobile number on Do not Call Distrub registration on Bank Site.
                                      Till I am receiveing call from HDFC.
                                      When I told them its DND number their reply the they called me 1st time and will not call again(They means a outsourced company for telemarketing).
                                      I am receiving call per call from outsourced company for HDFC loan.
                                      I want to sue them on immediate basis due to my mental frustration.

                                      Please guide me on the same.

                                        My salary account(in HDFC bank) was created in my first company, so once i left the company and joined somewhere else i had to open another salary account. Now my salary account in hdfc bank has been converted to savings account(without informing me or warning me). Now it is showing my balnce in -5000 Rs. I was told that no any limit of minimum cash for your account at the time of opening.
                                        I am not going to pa any amount to bank. If you want, please close these account immediately with my consent on this mail
                                        According to new RBI guidelines banks are not supposed to penalise for dormant accounts.
                                        Where should i approach now. Please help
