Hi This is Samim Akram from Navi Mumbai.

I had applied credit card (Application #[protected]W1) a long back ago and got a call 16th of March'17 for verification and said the card will be delivered within a week time, again I got for verification after one week and said card will be dispatch within 2 days . After 2 days also I didn't get the card info or status of the card, and I called customer care, customer representative replied that Credit card application is still in progress. Till now I have called 4 to 5 times for the status, whenever I call, HDFC representative is saying still in Progress and check after 2 days, I am very disappointed due to response and processing the credit card, the bad part is whenever I call the customer care, representative says check after 2 days.

Please help me in resolving this issue.

    Hi my name is Ambika. I have credit card of hdfc bank and my payment of this month is due because of some financial crunch which I will be paying today. But I received many calls from Jaspreet and Gurpreet who spoke in a rude language and when the person stated i[censored] can't afford credit card then u should not have it. How can a bank employee comment on a customer like this. I have been paying my dues Everytime and this is for the first time that it is due.

    I received a call again today and when I asked the person to apologise then the person said he didn't say anything bad. I will be paying my entire credit card balance I. Two months but will make sure no one in my aquantainces takes HDFC credit card ever. The misbehavior of Bank employees has actually made me not to believe the bank anymore.

    I am an HDFC bank customer, aged 65 years. My banking branch is Raghunathpur, Kolkata 700069 and customer ID is[protected]. I was persuaded by my designated RM Debasish Chatterjee/ Banerjee to open Demat Account and a savings account in my wife's name with false assurance of no maintenance deduction and closing of the said accounts within a couple of months. These were because he very helpless ( maybe pretension) asked for such cooperation to meet the target given to him. For last two years he didn't close those accounts dedpite a series of reminders and I had to pay the price through yearly deductions. The Branch Manger Mr Vinod Sharma was also intimated through host of mails. Fiinally when the closures came about your bank deducted from my account Rs 600+ GST and Rs 590/-. Debasish assured me several times for the refund of the amounts, but didn't. He continues to harass a senior citizen customer for months together.
    I request you to make Debasish and the Branch Manager clarify the harassment mented out to me and arrange the refunds, if required through penalising your employee.

      This is really a cheap underhand tactic on part of HDFC to superimpose charges tacitly and furtively without the proper knowledge and true consent of the customer. I hope everyone is as mad as i am about this borderline illegal move of forcibly extracting a fee without obtained a signed authorised consent. Thanks to Mr. karthik, i came to know about this shame on you HDFC for trying to steal in a stealthy manner from the public.

        Hi

        I have been facing issues with the two policies which I purchased in December 2016. Policies # are 18892123 and 18860311.

        a) Policy # 18860311
        One of your executive called my wife and said today is Maha log in day so we are giving two benefits with the policy one is 20% cash back and a medical card. Then he connect her to Harshita Kaur contact: [protected] and she informed the same thing to her. Under 20% cashback scheme you will receive 12000 within 40 days of purchase of policy and under medical card benefit you can cover 5 members of the family with a sum of 1.5 lac.My wife provided them my contact number.Now another person came into picture whose name was Akash Wadhwa, contact: [protected], e-mail: akash.[protected]@hdfclife.com. He convinced me to take the policy under my name and in return he will provide the cash back for two consecutive years. so, finally we purchased the policy under my name.

        b) Policy # 18892123
        After purchase of first policy Akash called me again with a lucrative offer to get an Activa free with a pension plan of Rs. 85000.Either you can get an Activa or Rs. 38000 cashback.I refused as I had already purchased a policy.He called me again and said I have to pay on;y Rs. 65000 and he can provide 45000 cashback and in this policy I will get Rs.1850 every month for seven years. again we got into the trap and purchased the policy

        FRAUD: During the purchase of first policy after providing my documents Akash said you will again receive a call for documents just provide the wrong address so that nobody reaches you. I got reluctant and refused to provide the wrong address. He said ok you provide the address but nobody will come to collect the docs.as I got suspicious I asked him questions and he gave explanation that under IRDA we can not sell the policy directly. So we are involving third party and you need to lie to them that we are not providing any benefits.

        Till today we have not received any benefits and now Harshita is not answering the call and Akash has switched off his phone. I am really in a bad financial situation now as I have to pay my credit card bills and I don't have money to pay.

        Either provide me the refund or I will file a complaint in Consumer forum. Never expected such a fraud from a brand name like HDFC Life.

        Today Morning I received a call regarding policy HDFC Life Sanchay, A person named Nikhil Rathore as Process Manager at HDFC life as described by him.He called from a landline number[protected] and given me his mobile no. ([protected]).
        He ask me for the cheque of 40K after that I called the HDFC customer care and ask for the authenticity of that person, after that I discovered that was a fraud and HDFC people said pls ignore those calls.
        So I raise my complaint here please look into this matter seriously.

          I have an Current A/C [protected] in HDFC BANK and I have transferred Rs 35000/- using IMPS on 20th March 2017 at arount 11.00 AM to SBH CURRENT A/C:[protected] of Devi Filling Station, Velgatoor. The IMPS Ref No[protected]. Amount debited from a/c but not yet credited to recipient. I got message that it timed OUT and status shows in my Netbanking as Transaction Initiated. .Either initiate the Tranc or refund the money into the account. Please Look into this issue and resolve it as soon as possible.

            I have registered my Mobile number on national DND list.
            I have also registered the same mobile number on Do not Call Distrub registration on Bank Site.
            Till I am receiveing call from HDFC.
            When I told them its DND number their reply the they called me 1st time and will not call again(They means a outsourced company for telemarketing).
            I am receiving call per call from outsourced company for HDFC loan.
            I want to sue them on immediate basis due to my mental frustration.

            Please guide me on the same.

              My salary account(in HDFC bank) was created in my first company, so once i left the company and joined somewhere else i had to open another salary account. Now my salary account in hdfc bank has been converted to savings account(without informing me or warning me). Now it is showing my balnce in -5000 Rs. I was told that no any limit of minimum cash for your account at the time of opening.
              I am not going to pa any amount to bank. If you want, please close these account immediately with my consent on this mail
              According to new RBI guidelines banks are not supposed to penalise for dormant accounts.
              Where should i approach now. Please help

                  On 10th jan 2017, a customer care executive from hdfc ergo called me n told about hdfc ergo health insurance,
                  I told i am not interested, he told abt the policy, i asked him is that mandatory, he replied "its ur new credit card so u can (Must) take it", i asked him twice or thrice, he replied the same, i thought it was mandatory n told ok,

                  But later i came to know its not mandatory, so i called [protected] requested for cancellation of the policy, they told ur request for cancellation is taken,

                  So called [protected] n told to cancel, they told ur request is taken, n i received a call from some number +9122* but was busy wid my work so couldn't pick the call, i tried to call that number but some auto generated voice n call got disconnected,

                  I called [protected] n they told i was not reachable, i re-requested for cancellation, same thing repeated,
                  Now i need to know, why they need to call me?

                    I am using credit card of HDFC bank since 2010, in last year the total due amount was around 42000 i requested in bank to clarify it or to remove extra charges fro it. Finally one bank official told me that you have to pay only 26000 in 6 months when i asked for some written letter she told me that letter is ready but we can't mail or give it to you. I didn't pay any thing or i didn't get any call for 3 months. After 3 months some Mr Rajesh from vikaspuri delhi branch called me and asked for the payment he told me to pay 52000 i explaoned him the previous things then he told me that pay 52000 in three months or my civil will be worst. I agreed to pay he decided dates and amount of payment himself and started calling me after 7 days for payment of 30000. I asked him for some time then they started to call my father and the secretry of my father's college and in all this Mr. Wasim from same branch talked to me and my father in abusive way. I paid 25000 in that month and in next agin same situation . I have some questions for HDFC bank and if some one is responsible answer it
                    1. Is bank given me credit card before asking my parents or relatives if not than why bank calling them?
                    2. Is bank have rights to talk in abusive or improper way??
                    3. What action taken on such employees.

                      Issue: All of a sudden a/c got deactivated all of a sudden without prior notification. Upon chasing the bank several times, i was advised to resubmit the KYC form which I did. However, till date it has not been updated. Upon visiting the branch, I'm getting a run around to visit to Brach A to B & from B to C and so on.
                      I've not paid my house rent and i'm not able to do anything. My money is with the bank and i'm unable to do any transaction. In order to do a followup, i've written an email also to [protected]@hdfcbank.com. I got an auto reply but no one has bothered to call me back to check my issue.

                      Infact the customer care number: [protected] is good for nothing. You'll hardly be able to get through to a Customer Care Representative. I'm wrtting this formal complaint here because you guys are my last hope, else I myself don't know what would happen.

                      This problem has created issues pertaining to my health. My blood pressure has gone down and my health is going down. I don't have money to even buy medicines. Friends can not always help me by lending money.

                      Please treat this as urgent with high importance.

I visit the bank after every 2 days but the bank staff are giving excuses after submitting the whole document with letter of t&m service ltd. So i am expecting the better feedback.

                          I am least bothered about the amount I received, I am not going to pay any amount in future.

                          If I am not going to get charges reversed on time.

                          I want you to close my card and maximum what I can pay is Rs25000 only, reverse the charges and send someone to collect the cheque the of Rs25000.

                          If any charges appear in the card in future I will not be responsible for that, I am using the card from Last 4 years, I didn’t got any facilities from the bank.

                          • No discount on Movie ticket
                          • No Limit enhancement
                          • No upgradation of the card

                          Kindly get the charges reversed otherwise, I will not be responsible for any charges in future, I am going to file a consumer harassment case in supreme court.

                          This is with reference to your email dated March 15, 2017 and our subsequent holding response dated March 16, 2017 regarding your HDFC Bank credit card account

                          We take this opportunity to clarify that, in the event of non receipt of payment, delayed payment or payment less than the minimum amount due, applicable late payment charges and finance charges would be levied to the card account. A review of our records indicate that we have been receiving partial / delayed payments towards the outstanding dues on your card account and therefore, bank charges as applicable, were levied to the card account.

                          As confirmed earlier, we have reversed bank charges amounting to Rs.4697.84 (inclusive of taxes) to your card account, recently and the reversals shall reflect in your March'17 statement. We had also offered further reversal of Rs.2000.00 on your card account, subject to receipt of payment towards the remaining dues by the due date of March 09, 2017. We are not in receipt of any payment, as on date.

                          We are in receipt of your recent request for reversal of bank charges amounting to Rs.4444.33 levied to your card account.                             I have got a two weeler loan in your bank loan number is 44608942. Our due amount date is 05/03/2017 but we forgot to pay the due amount. From the bank no one contacted us for bounced amount, without asking they have replaced the check so the amount is been bounced again. So from the bank they called at 18/03/2017 and said that amount has been bounced. The one who called and said her name is gayathri[protected]. She said to go to the near hdfc bank (Chennai-600 088) and to pay the due amount on monday 20/3/2017 (From there gayathri said to call us for more details), so we went on that day to pay the due amount. We called gayathri and said that we have arrived to that branch then she said to wait till she send a mail (Regarding to fill the challen form). And she said to give the phone call to a staff in that branch we wear searching for a staff but no one was there, that watchman came and said to go out of the branch. Till the staff to call us this was so insult for us, so we got angry and said gayathri to send collection man to collect the due amount. Then the collection man (Mahesh no:[protected]) called us on 20/03/2017 and said that he will come within 5pm but we got some work to go out, so that we called him and asked to come early but he said that he cant come early so that we told him come on 21/03/2017. But gayathri called us shouted that (You have signed in all papers) and asked us (Who told you to go out when that collection man arrive) but that colection man dint even come, he was just saying that he came that he came. 21/03/2017 morning again gayathri called us and asked did the collection man came we said that he dint come, but frequently gayathri called us and disturbed our business timings by asking the same questions whether he came or not for each 2min she called us from morning but that collection man dint arrive, at last he arrived at 05:30pm. We apologize for our mistake for not paying the due amount but without asking us gayathri has replaced the check so that the amount is been bounced again we are not responsible for this problem because in our we are paying fine amount for twice, so we cant pay the fine amount for your bank. We got so much insult because of this bad issue. And one more thing gayathri has blackmailed that she will block our bank account in all banks which are in my names. We got so much of stress because of our bank members.

                              I have been trying to reach out to HDFC credit card team for my full repayment and final settlement.

                                I have been paying on regular basis but still the dues are increasing day by day, however, I haven't even used my card from last few months, got a call from customer care and the executive was very rude, then he escalated my call to his Senior, he misbehaved with me by using vulgar language.This happened on 21 march 2017.I am totally dis satisfied with the services of this bank. The executives do not even know how to talk to a lady. If this complaint can be resolved, I would be available on [protected] to answer the queries.

                                  I am very harnessed and bothered due to this type of treatment given by hdfc ergo to me.

                                        This is to bring under your acknowledgement that myself lalit mohan kushwah
                                        Working with ibm, pune applied for loan on 20th feb of rs 6.00 lacs through hdfc bank by agent ravi. Loan application no[protected]

                                        After that i received a call from mr. Ravi and mr. Sharukh as loan agents of hdfc bank. They
                                        Informed me the whole loan procedures of personal loan and other important details as interest rate11.49% and rs 1999 as processing fee. After that without any approval of disbursing loan, they collected my documents. Before the approval of loan confirmation, ravi asked me to fill a loan application form with four post dated cheques to get approval fast. And also they told me to for signing on papers on personal loan application form and because of easy procedures under it, i signed the documents.

                                        15th march evening, i got a approval message of sanction of my personal loan. Then on 16th march, hdfc bank employee called me for my final confirmation and they added that your interest rate is 11.49% with processing fee rs 10, 700 for personal loan amount rs 5.00 lacs. After hearing this, i denied for that extra processing fee and also not to disburse the loan and instruct him to keep on hold until i will give you any confirmation and cancel the loan.

                                        Immediately i called to mr. Ravi regarding extra processing fee charging by bank. But instead of
                                        Rectifying these all things, he told me the two policies. First one is interest rate 11.49% with
                                        Processing fee of 1% on loan amount and the second policy is interest rate of 12.49% with processing fee rs 1999. But instead of doing help to rectify the things and against wrong statements given by him, mr. Ravi
                                        Give confirmation of disbursing the loan amount without informing to me and hdfc bank disburse the loan amount rs.4, 93, 750 after deducting processing fee in my icici bank a/c no.[protected].

                                        After this i lodged the complaint against mr. Ravi as complaint no. Pun[protected]. I informed
                                        Mr. Nagesh hdfc bank manager who gave the approval for my loan to take actions for the false
                                        Tatements which are given by ravi but he did nothing.

                                        I again called to customer care number and they told me that your loan amount get reversed back
                                        Within 15 days and you will not have to pay even a single rupee and also they suggest me to go hdfc retail office pune.in retail office, banking officer was saying that you have to pay processing charges and added that they need confirmation from mr. Nagesh for cancellation of loan. I called mr. Nagesh for cancellation of loan, but directly he denied for confirmation and he is protecting his agents and also he said in any circumstances, you have to pay processing fee.

                                        I have called to mr. Rahul who is senior manager of mr. Nagesh. He is also telling that i need to pay
                                        Processing fee for cancellation because i have filled the agreement form which was signed by me without knowing me while mr. Ravi told me that it was just normal application form.

                                        By this whole incident, i am very shocked because o[censored]nfair practices made on me by hdfc bank
                                        Employees and agents. Without my concern they reimburse the loan, then why i should pay the
                                        Processing fee while i didn’t avail the loan. It appears that hdfc loan department is fooling people without giving complete information. Now, these days i am being harassed by your employees very badly because they are doing these practices on their convenience and asking me for processing fee. But it is not my fault and i will not pay even a single rupee as processing fee. It would be great if you can help otherwise i will forward this complaint to banking ombudsman and rbi within two days.
