[Complaint: Goods purchased through HOMESHOP18 on 14/08/2016]
Dear Team,
On 14th Aug 2016, I placed an order for the STEELO - 44 pcs. Storage Container Set - with steel lids [Product Code]. The maximum TAT for delivery was 25th Aug 2016.
Unfortunately, the product delivered (on 27th Aug 2016 – eve & the invoice showing the specifications – colour/no. of pieces etc. of the same product for which I ordered ) was not the one I ordered for & the paid amount (Rs. 1699/-) was more than for the product (with 40 pcs. only & the design of the containers was different to each other) what I got. For which I contacted the customer care team on 28th Aug 2016 & stated the same issues to them.
The customer care team booked an order for 6pcs. STEELO - 50 ml container set as partial replacement. I received a message regarding the same.
I doubted & rechecked/reconfirmed from your website the product & acknowledged the container pieces (40 pcs. instead of 44 pcs.) were less & the design was different to what I ordered. I re-approached the customer care team on 29th Aug 2016.They told that complain contact lines are closed & now we cannot help you on this-contact later. I requested them to at-least put the partial replacement order on hold & register the complaint for replacement of the whole product but they denied.
The next day – 30th Aug 2016 I again contacted the customer care team 3 times & the lines were busy & call got disconnected. Finally I again contacted the team on 31st Aug 2016 for raising the request to put on hold for their existing action & register for the complete product replacement or the refund of the same (amounted to Rs. 1699/-). The female executive denied doing so & finding me unconvinced with her things she forwarded the call to senior dept. I remained on hold for more than 15 minutes. Then ultimately the call got connected & I talked to another female executive from your team.
The concerned executive was so rude & after listening to my initial facts about the cases she refused to help-me out with this. She stated her own things & was even not listening to what I tried to state. After I insisted, she told me to do not mix the things in the current state as the homeshop18 working software do not have such options to cancel the prior lodged issues/complaints & again book new complaint on the existing orders. She suggested me to wait for the next delivery (within 9 working days) & then again contact to the homeshop18 team. I doubted & I told her that you are doing so to just close this case for the moment but I’ll suffer the loss. So kindly cancel/stop the existing complaint & either replace the delivered product with the actual order or provide the complete amount refund. Still found no help.
My husband received the partial replacement order on 1st Sep 2016. He tried to check they packet as he was in doubt the packet is empty. But the delivery boy talked to him very rudely & said we do not provide the open delivery. If you find any issues contact to Homeshop18, we are not the concerns.
Just after the delivery boy left, my husband checked the packet, he found only one plastic purple colored container piece in the damaged condition in a very large packet & invoice showing 6 pcs. in the packet ( with scratches & different pattern etc.)
To resolve the problem, I would appreciate if you can replace this product with the actual ordered one or refund the full amount in cash/cheque.
Enclosed are copies [copies, not originals] of my records [message confirmations for the Order Placements/ Delivered/ Partial Replacements/Customer Care Support Details provided when I contacted & tried to lodge the complaints along with the dates in sms, product specifications etc.) concerning this purchase/repair.
