everyone can conect huawei c2900i to one's pc. but u need a software named "dialer"search it on tata indicom 's site u can get it easily . you can search it as "tata indicom dialer" and u should have data cable of tata indicom to connect ur phone with ur pc.
now install this software during installtion u should connect ur tata indicom huawei c2900i with ur computer othervise u can't install it. then select phone and u can install it easily .
i[censored] want to access internet using tata indicom then open tata indicom dialer and username -->internet. password------>internet
and then click to connect
u can surf and download internet with very fast speed .

hi every one I'm a very first user of huawei c2900i and it was absolutely fine and working perfectly..and there is no software required for this once you connect the datacable to your PC it automatically installs the device and just create a dialer on the desktop.. and give username:internet and password:internet and dial #777 click on connect u will be able to connect to the internet from the PC..no software/drivers required for the datacable..

for creating a dialer(XP OS):
start->settings->contol panel->network connections->create a new connection(left side)->next-> connect to the internet->next->set up my connection manually->connect using a dialup modem->next->give ISP name as TATA(user wish)->phone num(#777)-> give username and password as "internet"-> select add shorcut to the desktop and click on OK ..
U will find a dialer on the desktop and connect the mobile to the PC with datacable and directly click on connect in the dialer U will be able to connect to the internet through phone and the charges are 2/- mb(while browsing with pc) and 99/- month i[censored] browse in the mobile itself..

Hi everyone NO SOFTWARE IS REQUIRED FOR HUAWEI C2900i directly when u connect the datacable to ur system just switch of[censored]r mobile and switch it on again then the drivers will install automatically into ur system. U need to create a dialer in ur PC and give ur username as "internet" and password as "internet" and the phone number as #777 and click on dial then ur PC will be connected to internet and the charges when u connect it to the internet through PC is Rs.2/mb. having any doubts u can mail me at [protected]@gmail.com
