Hi,

I was booked one ticket Using goibibo app ( no [protected]) unfortunately ticket was not recieved but money got deducted from my account through TEZ. Suddenly i called the team and said the same and they responded like i will recieved the money with in 2 working days, and i can book again on that time for getting another ticket. And i booked and i travelled from Chennai to Aluva. Till now i didnt recieve my refund for the first ticket failure. I called the customer care more than 7 times and i got reply like it is already escalated and refund is under process. One month reached now and till now i didnt get any refund back. When i try to call them again i couldnt reach them.

( i got information like the money is with goibibo right now, both from TEZ team and Goibibo Team. I gave them more than one month to solve this issue but i didnt get a satisfied response.

Amount was 950

I dont know how to recover my money, and it is absolutely a fraud method by Goibibo Team.

    On last friday, dated 22-jun-18 i have tried to confirm 4 train tickets from delhi to haridwar to my family from goibibo app. After deducting the payment of rs. 2160 from my syndicate debit card, the application showing that it'll take 20 mins for the confirmation from irctc, but after 20 mins it's showing the tickets are not confirmed so i chosen for refund to the same account from which i have done the payment to goibibo. Till now a week has been passed away but till now i didn't receive any refund from goibibo.

      Dear friends, travelling abroad, booking tickets with goibibo be aware!!!

      My name is vikram, i booked airline ticket with goibibo on 8th april 2018. Below are the details of the flights:
      Air india flight-ahmedabad to newark, usa, date & time: 23.04.2018, 04.55, pnr no. Jn3v1,
      Flight no. Ai171, goibibo booking id: amdn2fylk cost: ₹41, 948

      After booking tickets, i changed my mind and decided to travel on different date and booked direct flight with united airlines. Immediately on 9th april 2018, i initiated online cancellation request through goibibo website. Before request, i read goibibo cancellation policies, terms and conditions. And then after cancellation, i called goibibo about the refund and payment process. Customer executive informed me that they received cancellation request and suggested to discuss payment refund and card policies with bank for better clarity.
      After few days i noticed that, i have received email form goibibo saying your tickets were not cancelled, and you need to confirm the cancellation process by accepting cancellation charges written in the email. That email was mentioning high cancellation charges and taxes. Until i notice that email, my tickets were already showing 'no show' category of airline.
      Goibibo told me that i did not give any email confirmation (Which was not required) neither was i reachable on phone.
      For 'no show' category goibibo penalized me below charges
      Airline's fee: inr 15000/- per passenger
      No-show fee: inr 12000/- per passenger
      Refund & admin fee: inr 300/- per passenger
      Govt. Tax: inr 1365/- (05% of the total penalty) per passenger.
      Goibibo service fee: inr 649/- per passenegr.
      Convenience fee: inr 599/- per passenegr.
      Total cancellation fee: inr 29913/- per passenger.
      Now the reality is:
      Cancellation process was a one click process as per their website. They asked the confirmation of the cancellation process at the time of clicking confirm cancel button. It was clear indication to confirm cancellation of your ticket. But the fact is goibibo did not cancelled the ticket and kept it open and now they are arguing with me giving the reason that i did not given confirmation to their email.
      There is no need to send any email if i know, i am cancelling the ticket through web application, i am following your all steps you are asking me about confirmation of cancellation on web application.
      Its almost 2 months over, i am calling them about my refund, every time they explain me new process, i had given entire demo of cancellation process which was mentioned on their own website. Website itself is asking confirmation, then why they need email confirmation? I cancelled my ticket prior to any delay. They understand their mistake, but not ready for refund. Every agent/customer executive is tranied in way that they should convince the customer that this our policy. Then i told manager, senior manager to read the cancellation procedure loudly, they read it and then hangup phone, disconnected phone calls. Then i understood they are trained purposefully to set the email trap.

      Please notice, the big scam that goibibo is doing, there is simple cancellation process given on website. They ask stepwise all information needed to cancel the air ticket. Twist is they have few contradictory statements which are not self-explanatory. E. G. Depends on airline to airline and depends on the situation. Now what they do is, they send cancellation email with higher price to customer including goibibo fees and taxes. But at actual they must follow the cancellation policy of airline.in my case i cancelled the ticket very next day of booking, so it should be considered normal cancellation. Cancellation charges based on slabs like before 72 hrs, 72 hrs-48 hrs, 48 hr-24hrs etc. Air india cancellation policy is fair and mentioned on their website. Air india offer 100% refund on cancellation of ticket booked 7 days prior to departure through their website or office. Then why goibibo is getting 15k-19k cancellation fee for normal cancellation.

      Based on cyber law policy i can claim my refund.

      I don't want to stop here, i am filing fir or court enquiry against them to conduct audit for last 3 years to identify, how many cancellations has been done? How much money they raised through cancellation process? How much money they returned to the airline for cancellation? Are there cancellation process are adhering to the standards of industry.

      I am attaching the document of goibibo which explaining cancellation process on web. You will notice the confirm cancellation button in last slide.

      I request all passanger travelling abroad with goibio, please ensure that you read policy and refund process.

      Goibibo purposfully keep the passangers cancellation process under the validation. They just try to catch busy fish who dont care about 15-20k. The person may be in hurry or lazy attitude can loose your handsome/fat money.

      They have two cancellation policy. One has complete web process of cancellation (Please see the bellow link) but they dont use web based process. They just try to catch you in their email based cancellation process.

      Shortly i am coming with all the necesary information, call records and conversation with consumer affair portal govt india. Then you will come to know that why they use email cancelation process against standard web cancallation process.

        I had booked a grand room for three days from 04.06.2018 to 07.06.2018 in hotel kings corner raja park jaipur india through goibibo on 03.06.2018 booking id [protected] and paid rs 2587 in advance. On reaching there i found that hotel was under repairs and it was impossible to stay there without having any facility, it was very disappointing situation. Before booking goibibo should have been confirmed about the facilities. At that point of time i had to go for another hotel.
        Please arrange to refund my money rs 2587 and compensate against mental tension. Further pay rs 5200 also which i had to pay in another hotel.

          When i made payment through SBI UPI mobile app, the payment was successful and it debited my account 9369 INR
          but when i got beck to the booking screen a message was displaying about payment failure.
          I have all the payment details with me,
          I hope my problem will be solved as soon as possible

            I had booked two tickets on 27th january and i was supposed to get a cashback of rs 1110 in 90 days, it has been around 5 months and i haven't received my cashback even after raising the issue with goibibo a lot of times. I want to say that stop fooling people because while booking you people show offers but those offers are never redeemed.. Even after complaining lot of times there is no response and it is very difficult to reach goibibo customer care

              I have booked accommodation at batasia loop homestay in darjeeling from 5th to 7th june. Attached is the detail of booking. Upon reaching the hotel at 9 00pm, the hotelier rejected our accommodation saying the home is already full (Hotel contact number [protected]). Upset by this along with my family, i searched for another accommodation and checked-in at midnight 11 45 pm. I have raised a complaint bearing ticket number 23730495 in goibibo after several customer calls. From last 20 days, i am begging them for atleast refund the booked amount, but to no result.

              I spoke with Axis bank customer care department. They said that there is no transaction of the amount 4270 and bearing the reference number. As it is a credit card department they said they wont search by using the reference numbers.. They inturn asked me to check with GoIBibo. They haven't refunded the amount.

I want to complaint about my data lost which was stored in my emails, i also had some useful and important emails which was needed for future use.                       This is to inform that, i had booked a round trip for my younger brother, from geneva to kolkata and return on a single booking id from goibibo, for travel starting 22/06/2018.
                      But it so happened that his first flight of the itinerary got delayed, due to which all his connections were unable to be taken, and there was one connection which was of a domestic sector. When informed goibibo of the same, they first acted that there are no delays and the passenger will be able to catch the flights as per the itinerary, but when explained over and over again, they released and then just shed their responsibilities, and just asked to get the domestic ticket cancelled and book a new ticket on our expense.
                      I fail to understand that when i have booked the entire itinerary with goibibo under a single booking id, as per the connections showing on their website, sill why such different attitude, when a flight has got delayed/cancelled.
                      It should be goibibo's responsibility to get me a change of ticket as per the new itinerary which has formed due to the late arrival of a connecting flight.
                      But, no, they just dint pay any heed, but were quick enough to send a mail with all the cancellation charges, which were then committed to be reversed through a request raised by them, the mail which cannot be send to the customer.
                      I seek the entire refund of the cancelled ticket, the price of which was rs. 6000/- approx, and also the amount which i had to further invest to buy a ticket on the counter for rs. 6050/- of jet airways, that also made through goibibo.

                        An unauthorised payment of ₹12, 834/- was made this morning i. E 25th june '2018 using my debit card. I tried contacting the concerned website but none of the contact no's are working. I managed to write to them explaining the situation and to cancel the transaction as it was unauthorised. I also requested them to share the details of in whose name the transaction was done.

                          I have called goibibo many times regarding my refund from past many days but their customer care executive are not able to solve my query of refund moreover they only have one answer that i am forwarding your case to the concern department. Last time i had a conversation with mr. Sonu i asked him o arrange a call back for me but no body called this is ridiculous.

                          I am fed up of calling them again and again i had made a big mistake o[censored]sing their site. I will recommend to other not to use goibibo services because they cannot make their customer happy.

                            I booked a bus ticket on goibibo.com
                            And i canclled that ticket in 2 minutes... I booked ticket on 2:16 pm on 24 june
                            And i canclled on 2:20 pm and bus timing was 2:30 and there is showing 365 rupees refundable and now go ibibo is saying that this is not refundable... They are making me fool... I need my money back...
                            You can see in the photos... Please sir take a legal action on it... This is not a trustable site if they do this... My money is not a waste money... So why i will not getting my refund...

                              I booked a maharaja deluxe room in samrat hotel gurgaon (Booking id htlhe7n4rb) after check in, they provided me with normal deluxe room hotel saying that after 1 hour they will provide me with the booked room. After questioning about the room again they are saying its not available. If booking is done from today for that room, how its not available i don't understand. And when other people queried regarding availability of maharaja room, to them they are saying its available. But they are not providing those rooms if we did online booking from goibibo website. Kindly look into the matter

                                On 23rd june 2018 i booked a room in hotel east bourne a fine pine resort shimla. My booking id is htl6ndy2t. Through i the day i got confirmation massages till 2 pm. Then around 2-50 pm on 23rd june i got a call from customer care of goibibo site that the room is cancelled and goibibo would accommodate me some other hotel which they didn't. When i reached eastbourne resort the gm refused to give me the room as the booking was not in their record. I rang up the police station and the io insisted the gm to give the refusal in writing which he refused. Then again i called at customer care the authorised person requested me to wait for 30 minutes to find the solution but even he didn't rivert. At last when we decided to go back to our home the gm of the hotel offered us a room clearly mentioning that it is a complementary as we have suffered a lot and the hotel has nothing to do with goibibo. Today morning i. E. 24th june 2018 when i called customer care for my refund and the compensation for the harassment the staff person named jatin earlier agreed but later on refused and said that the goibibo will directly settle down with hotel. Pls look into the matter and do needful otherwise i will go to the consumer court

                                  I have booked hotel in france but booking not and my account was debited by ₹72874. Which they said it will be credited in 5-14 days. But its not credited in my account still. Booking id - htlucshu8l
                                  If i m trying customer care its saying that u have crossed limits to call us. Means why is there custmercare service when customers will not be able to contact them.
                                  Its my mistake i have choosed goibibo its a worst customer service i have used.
                                  Just refund my money back or otherwise ill go in customer court.

                                    I had made a booking through you for hotel at ahmedabad on 17th of june 2018. You had made booking for 19th june at pacific corporate solutions pvt ltd, ahmedabad.
                                    Booking id: htlkjjmcjqbooked on sun, jun 17, 2018.
                                    On reaching ahmedabad when we call to the hotel we came to know that the property had been sold and the person told categorically that the same had been communicated to goibibo.
                                    I want my booking amount back.

                                      I had made online booking on website of goibibo.com vide their booking id htlk46dgdt, for hotel the india at big bend, mussoorie, for 3 nights from 13th june 2018 to 16th june 2018. While making the reservation, i was shown family room of big size and assured 100% money back guarantee, in case of non-satisfaction.

                                      When i reached mussoorie with my family, i found that the room shown to me on online portal was totally different. I was forced by the hotel gm to take a duplex room, which had very dangerous stairs, within the room itself. I requested the hotel gm to change our room, due to safety issues, for our kids. I even offered to take any smaller room with down-grade.

                                      But, the hotel gm refused to change the room and impolitely asked us to leave the hotel. We had travelled 8 hours from delhi to reach this hotel, to face such harassment.

                                      We left the hotel, by deleting entry in visitor register and were forced to book another hotel, at much higher price.

                                      Immediately, i raised a complaint with goibibo.com and asked them to refund my money of rs. 16, 020, which was paid by me on 26th april 2018, about 6 weeks, in advance. However, goibibo staff is denying to refund the advanced money, on lame excuses.

                                      As a result, i as a consumer is being harassed to get refund of my hard earned money.

                                        My bank accounted debited with Rs.2060 and the train ticket booking were not completed after transferring the money.Not even a single rupee has refunded to me by goibibo.Iam going to file a petition against the same on consumer court if the refund is not granted with 18hrs to me.
                                        goibibo 1 @icici is the beneficiary and i possess all the necessary proofs for the same.(See down)

                                        this happened 2 times and i lost my 1500 rs
