I had booked two bus tickets for amritsar from moga vide pnr no 632ygjfc. When i reached at boarding point moga, i didn't not find bus for amritsar for which go ibibo allotted me. I called the contact number given by goibibo, no one was responding my my call. Even i called customer care number of goibibo, they also did not not resolved my problem. This is very worst experience felt by me. I request to escalate my matter to appropriate authority and refund my hard earned money.

This is 2nd reminder for refund of money.
I already lodged a complain but not yet resolved till now.

    Made a booking on 24th april 2018, at hotel the buransh, kausani, uttarakhand, for 26th to 29th may 2018, via goibibo. It was confirmed by goibibo immediately.
    Goibibo kept sending confirmation details over mails and sms until 24th may 2018.
    On the day of check in (26th may 2018), when i called the hotel, it informed me there was no booking in my name!
    Stranded in the middle of himalayan roads (Poor phone network), somehow reached goibibo through[protected].
    Goibibo started naming a few alternative hotels. I explained that i cannot make a choice as i did not have any internet access in the middle of mountains.
    Indeed, i felt blackmailed – had no better options but to ask them to go ahead with whatever they could find.
    The room at chevron eco lodge was not in livable condition. Using weak wifi, i kept goibibo informed that i would check out the next morning and would not use the rest of the booking (Next two days) as this arrangement they made was not acceptable given the huge money i have paid a month ago.
    I did not use the hotels goibibo arranged the next two days.
    After literally begging for a commitment from their side for a “partial refund”, during a long call to same[protected], they shared an e-mail mentioning the same commitment, without mention of any amount of course!
    Original booking (For three days) cost me rs. 38269.
    Goibibo booking id htl566wyb6.
    No communication whatsoever from them later, till today, 4th june 2018.
    Suddenly received an sms telling me refund of rs. 3148 has been made!
    No one explained on what basis they decided to refund this peanut amount against such a huge money they charged upfront. These sheer irresponsible actions from their side continue. Leaving aside the hard-to-quantify cost of anxiety and utter inconveniences the family suffered during those 24 hours.
    Sent several mails to [protected]@goibibo.com and [protected]@goibibo.com, no effective response yet, other than those useless automated acknowledgement mails.

    GoIbibo representatives took a few days to call the hotels and also me to verify facts. Then they refunded the amount of two days which I did not utilize. Indeed, there is no method to compute the cost of anxiety and other inconveniences the family suffered on that day, and this part could no way be "compensated". But I chose to leave it here, as it is not worth my time. Overall, I have to thank the departments of GoIbibo who processed the complaint. But I continue to bear disappointment for the other departments who are in charge of booking confirmation -- this department should not rely on automated processes alone (see my last comments in the post, under "The learning").

    I have received the partial refund amount, although there is no calculation explaining the amount, the matter may be considered resolved.

    The learning
    (i) once we get a "Confirmation" from GoIbibo, we must still call the hotel at least once to cross-check if the booking was indeed confirmed.
    (ii) On the part of GoIbibo, they should do the same with the hotel, especially in locations where internet connectivity is not great and hotels do manage the bookings somewhat off-line, i.e. their updates of inventory is not "real-time".

      On that day there was a offer of additional 10% discount on every axis bank debit card. So i paid the amount through my debit card.

        First Incident:

        Goibibo Bus reservation details
        Bangalore - Chennai Sat, 24 Mar 18 BTM Travels Boarding tin factory: 2205
        Luxura A/C Sleeper Executive Luxury (2+1) Bangalore 23:35 hrs Chennai 05:35 hrs
        .The email sent to goibibo is as follows:-

        First of all in your online booking with BTM travels, the boarding point tin factory shows bus( no van or car pickup). Whereas after reaching the pick up point no number which you provided in the message is active. Horrible . Called up goibibo and informed. Not satisfied as he said will take 15 mts to check .

        Anyway managed myself to get BTM travela number through Google and contacted, the guy informed aditya travels bus will come board and you will be dropped in.majestic to further board to Chennai.

        Reached majestic at 2255pm aditya travels dropped at a point and said go search for General travels, ask for your BTM travels.

        After finding General travels checked for BTM he said you will travel in Sharma transport . Anyway after patient waiting got bus at 1125 pm .

        Thought peacefully will reach Chennai my drop point ashok pillar.. however another surprise I was forced to get down at koyembedu metro as bus goes to Chennai central.

        Please ensure this type of travel inconvenience never happens to prime customers.

        I will send the bus photos if you require and what time they start...it's daily routine these bus operators don't start before 2pm...

        This is not first instance for me this is second instance through goibibo and no action taken except apologies...

          Dear sir/madam i booked my ticket for 21st april from bangalore to delhi which has the passenger number "gntzxj" using goibibo. But because of some reason i need to cancel the ticket and i called them on 20th april to cancel my ticket and their representative canceled my ticket. I called from my mobile number [protected]. At the time of cancellation he informed me he will deduct 2900 (Adult) + 1100 (Infant) airline cancellation fee and also deduct the convince fee of airline and then he will start the process for refund which was remaining amount of 2700. He agreed to pay 2500 in my account and 200 in go cash as i used 200 from go cash while booking. But unfortunately i have not received my refund till today (14/05/2018). When i call their call center the always tell me we will call you back and do not provide any details. Below is the invoice which i have from goibibo i attached it along with this complaint. Also, my service request number from goibibo is goibibo[protected]. My cancellation service number was goibibo[protected]. Thanks

            I booked a car from goibibo on the 26 th of may for a airport drop and i also got a confirmation on the same and i also told them to send the car at 11 am where i n i got a message saying we wll send u the drivr info 3 hrs before now it was almost past 10 i did not get a call so i called them up and they said we wll call u its was 10.30 am and i got the same answer so i had to pay extra 1200 to get a local car to drop me at the airport and i wasted my time and i paid double including what i had paid to goibibo for the car booking (818) rs. If i had missed my flight who was responsible infact i booked my air tkts from mum to goa return from them including a car on the 23 rd from goa airport to the hotel so pls i need a refund of all my money now pls help me

              I have booked an accommodation for three persons and after reaching there i saw that bedding was provided only for two. Hoteler saying that i have to pay extra charge for additional bed.
              I tried to connect through app and phone several times, but that was in vain. Later, my calls after maximum waiting time of (11 mins) were not entertained by any executive. This is this their service standard.
              Finally, by email they have mentioned - 'it was by their mistake, they did not charge the required additional money and i have to pay the hotel for extra bed. Finally, i had to pay extra charges and this become equivalent to charges at better hotel.

                Goibibo is seriously breaching customer's trust, never use them if you are booking air ticket with refund protection. I will go straight to the point.

                I have done 2 bookings of domestic flights, one with mmt and second with goibibo.

                1. Goibibo - total ticket cost for 2 adult passengers rs.8734
                2. Make my trip - total ticket cost for 2 adult passengers rs.16176

                Both of them had refund protection and i have cancelled both the flights, and refund i have received is as follow...

                1. Goibibo refund: rs.7196/- they have deducted rs.-1554 (Whooping 18% of the total amount) as cancellation charges even though i had refund protection.

                2. Make my trip refund: rs.14922/- they have deducted rs.-1254 (Only 8% of the total amount) as cancellation charges with refund protection.

                And the biggest problem with your system is that it shows wrong refund amount on the cancellation screen. Look at the attached image, in reality I have received only Rs.7196/- as refund.

                As discussed, in case of cancelation protection policy, directed charges should be applicable - Convenience Fee - INR 540.0, Zero Cancellation Transaction - INR 998.0. In addition to that, you had paid INR 400 from go cash points so virtually paid amount should be refunded in the form of virtual currency only.

                However, we have observed a technical glitch due to which only an amount of INR 964 is deducted from total paid amount and refund is processed for an amount INR 7370.00.

                    Booked flight tickets (Air asia + jet airways) on 26th may 2018 from kuala lumpur to new delhi via chennai for 29th june 2018 through goibibo.com and payment released through icici bank credit card against booking.in spite of they received the payment, they have not confirm the tickets and not provided any pnr no.

                    I have called them 2 times. Fisrt time they cut the phone after listening the issue without resolution of my problem. 2nd time they informed that it is under automation and there is a technical problem and they may return the money within 24- 48 hrs. They failed reply actual reasons for not providing tickets confirmation. I want to know, if they donot have any sit in the particular flight, they should not allow customer to book the tickets along with relaese fund. It is a serious issue after taking the payment not confirming ticket dstatus and keeping block the money (Rs.56.463/-) for 2-3 days.

                    Now i have to book the tickets again with higher rate due to situation created by them as tickets prices are dynamic and tremendous demand due to holidays. Even i do not know whether they will be returned the money in time or not. Service and dealing of goibibo is very pathetic and they do not realize intensity of their act and customer problem created by them. I want immediate confirm tickets or refund of money with difference of fare from goibibo.

                        I had booking of following hotels booked from goibibo

                        16th may 2018 to 20th may 2018 in hotel vajrakila gangtok for 2 rooms goibibo booking id htlmjzjnqn booked on 15th jan 2018.

                        This booking was with my family trip and while on the way to hotel, hotel has refused to stay as they didnt have any bookings from goibibo then i have approached to goibibo and customer care has suggested few hotels and accordingly have arranged onether hotel in oyo 12862 hotel lamaz residency, gangtok.

                        We have suffered lot of problem as i was travelling with family and had to stay on roads untill they have arranged alternative hotel.

                        The hotel booked by goibibo via oyo and i have seen the payment given by goibibo to oyo was rs. 8860/-

                        The hotel given was pathetic in terms of infrastructure and huge issue in wash rooms.

                        We have faced many problems because of sudden change of hotel, problems in hotel and the mess created by goibibo.

                        Because of the above i have reduced my staty in gangtok and booked hotel in siliguri in mount milestone for one day. I have paid rs. 6189.

                        So i want goibibo to pay for the following immediately
                        1. To refund the difference of booked hotel rs. 16855 and actual hotel rs. 8860.
                        2. One day stay at siliguri of rs. 6189
                        3. Rs. 10, 000 for the harassment and embrace situation faced in gangtok.

                        Enclosed : 1. Hotel bill for one day stay at siliguri on 19-20th may 18 and 3. Sms confirmation from oyo for payment receipt.

                            I booked a flight from kolkata to chandigarh for 24th february 2018 through goibibo. It was a connecting flight from kol to delhi and delhi to chandigarh. Due to some ongoing construction activities at chandigarh airport, my flight from delhi to chandigarh was cancelled by the airline (Indigo) itself. I was informed by the airline in january that they have refunded the partial amount to goibibo and suggested me to connect with goibibo. Then the whole game started. I contacted with goibibo on 28th jan 2018, they confirmed that the airline has refunded the amount and goibibo will initiate the refund to my bank account and the same will be reflected within 5-14 days. Now it has been close to 4 months and till date i didn't receive the said refund amount. I also tried contacting goibibo team in april and they again made false promise that payment will be reflected within 5-14 days. No doubt, u guys are pure fraud and your customer care executives provide the most pathetic service ever. Kindly initiate the refund at the earliest or else i have to file a fir against your team goibibo.

                                On 1st of april i made a booking on Goibibo from cheenai to delhi for 15th of april and operator cancelled my ticket and i talk to them regarding refund they said you will get in within 7-14 days but till now i did not received money yet. Recently also i talked to them but they always claims that you have to wait for more 14 days..                                   I had booked hotel rooms on 12th may 2018 through gobibo.com, for which the amount was debited from my account but neither had i received any order confirmation, nor the amount has been reverted back to my account, when i called up they asked me to place a fresh booking saying they have not received the payment. I guess the amount is stuck in the payment gateway so please initiate refund back to my account. Would appreciate if you can get this issue resolved asap!!!

                                    Hi, i had booked hotel rooms on 12th may 2018 through gobibo.com, for which the amount was debited from my account but neither had i received any order confirmation, nor the amount has been reverted back to my account, when i called up they asked me to place a fresh booking saying they have not received the payment. I guess the amount is stuck in the payment gateway so please initiate refund back to my account. Would appreciate if you can get this issue resolved asap!!!

                                      Hi, i am presently travelling from chennai to salem in srt travels. I have purposely booked ac due to day time travel. I realized the temperature is high inside as soon as boarded, i have informed bus driver on the same and it was 32, even after 2hours the temperature just dropped to 30 and it is suffocating and the driver acknowledge that the bus ac is not working.

                                      Could you please my complaint as i have paid extra for the service which i am not getting and more over inconvenience?

                                        I want to open my ibibo mail account which was unable to open.

                                        I opened mail account (M. [protected]@ibibo.com) in ibibo in 2010 and that mail id i given in my fb account and some other websites.. And now my fb account got blocked and fb team send a mail to my ibibo mail to unlock my fb. But i am unable to open my ibibo mail ad also cant find the website where have to login for mail. So i request you to please help me to open my ibibo mail once....
