Background:

With reference to my Kingfisher airlines (thru Goibibo) travel PNR# IYZQPU this is to state that due to Patna-Pune flight cancellation dated 12th March 2012, I had requested for full refund from my airline (Kingfisher) and refund was processed immediately at the airport itself. However, since the ticket was booked through Goibibo, I was to get the actual refund from Goibibo. Hence, simultaneously I made request for refund to Goibibo also.


Problem:

My full refund amounts to be Rs. 4445.00, however, I received a partial refund of Rs. 3415.00 only on 28th Mar 2012 after 3 follow up e-mails and calls. The same day I complained about this and was given an assurance by the company that the remaining balance which amounts to be Rs. 1030.00 will be refunded soon. The company has ackowledged that mistake is on their part and despite following up for 5 times I still have not received my balance amount.

I want that suitable action should be taken against the company and company should provide my refund with appropriate compensation for the delay.

    Hello,

    I booked a ticket, for my journey from Kochi to Ahmedabad on 19th of April 2012, online through the go ibibo site on 07th April 2012 and the payment was made through online SBI ATM/Debit card. Through out the transaction it was showing that an amount of Rs: 6217 will be deducted from my account. After the transaction was over I received an email from go ibibo site that the ticket was booked. Immediately another email came from the Indigo site mentioning that a total of Rs. 6506 was deducted from the account and the extra amount accounted to transaction charges. but during the entire process it was not mentioned and I would like to know whose fault was that and enough information be given in the websites of - SBI online, go ibibo and Indigo - regarding the extra charge. I would like to know whether I will get the extra amount which was deducted - Rs. 324 - refunded, as I was not informed prior to or during the process of these online transaction.

      Hello, Today its 2nd April
      I am Aniket, I have booked my ticket from goibobo.com website.
      details are:
      Flight No : IT 3415
      Airline: KINGFISHER
      From: Pune
      To : GOA
      Departure Time: March 16, 12:15 Hrs
      Arrival Time: March 16, 13:20 Hrs (Revised)
      Airline PNR: GZIRQN
      Ticket Numbers: 090-[protected]
      Ticket price:
      This is to inform you that because flight got cancelled by airlines, Airlines confirmed full refund amount and then cal goibobo on their help line number informing them to preoceed for full refund as told by kingfisher.
      They told me that they are processing the refund process and i will get refund in 3-4 working days.
      But till now as on April 2nd I did not received any refund.
      I call them several times they make exuses that they need mail from kingfisher that they have cancelled my flight and through full refund.
      I called Kingfisher also several times but they told me that they dont have any facility to mail me and they ask me to tell goibobo to connect with kingfisher directly.
      I asked goibobo to connect with kingfishr to get information on this but they make exuses that they cannot connect with them.
      Everytime i call them they tell me a new exuse to avoid all this process.
      They can simply call kingfisher on [protected] to get the information which i have told them so many times.But they are not helping me.
      Also kingfisher can send me a mail or any proof regarding cancelation so that i can forward it to goibobo.But both parties are playing their own games. How to get the refund.

        I am Vijaya Muthukumar from Chennai. I booked the flight ticket for my parents using your website http://goibibo.ibibo.com/ . My Travel Information as follows
        Travel Date: 25.03.2012 8.30PM -SPICEJET SG 291 Chennai to Madurai
        PNR: RYEYAL Rs 7846
        Due to my parent’s health Issue, I called to customer care on 13.03.2012 and ask the procedure to reschedule for 13.03.2012 . Unfortunately customer care service person rescheduled for 13.03.2012 with Ammendment Charges. But my family Doctor told that flight travel not recommended for my parents within week. So I called to customer care Nearly 12 times to cancel my flights. Now my tickets status show "Refunded" , but until now I did not get any refund. I called to customer care regarding take cancellation charge Rs 3000 and refund Remaining amount Rs 4846 , otherwise take reschedule charge also Rs 3000, then refund at least Rs 1846 .
        till now, they are not responding properly from www.goibibo.com Customer Care. I lost Rs 7846 . Kindly do not book ticket using webstite www.goibibo.com. They also maintain two different refund status in their website

          Hello,

          I had booked a return trip from Bangalore to Lucknow on goibibo website.
          Details-
          Date of journey :
          Bangalore to Lucknow on 1st Feb
          Lucknow to Bangalore on 8the Feb
          PNR no - OPPCYD
          Airline - Jetlite

          But due to some personal work I got it rescheduled from airport counter (since i was not getting reschedule option on goibibo website) to 26the Feb. But finally I decided to cancel thee ticket. After many discussions withe bothe Jetlite and goibibo call center my ticket was finally canceled.

          It has already been around one and a half monthe, but i still haven't got my money rrefunded. Every time i call goibibo theey keep asking to wait for 2-3 days. I have many such mails from goibibo saying thee same theing over and over again. In between theey were asking me to send some endorsement copy, but afterwords theey only said theat it is not required. I have already spent a lot of money calling theem.

          Please take a look into theis matter as early as possible.

            Ibibo rummy is an online gaming website where i deposited Rs.25,000 for the promotion they offered for an assured Samsung galaxy tab worth Rs.28,000.I have paid an additional Rs.4095 to claim the product.But after two months now they are saying samsung has stopped a particular tab model so they will give a blackberry 16 gb tab which is worth Rs.14,000.The kind of service from ibibo rummy is worst and they are also trying to cheat me on this.

            Ibibo — Incorrect Passenger Name Updated

            This is to inform you that i was Booking a ticket in my Father's name: Md.Hani[censored]sing my banking details. But the ticket has been Issued in My Name.I called up your Customer care to inform about the same with 1Min and 30 sec of the Booking. So that the Booking can be Rectified but i have been informed that I will have to pay INR 1000 as a cancellation charge for a system error from your end. when i called up your Customer care the Girl in the other rudely yelled it was you who booked the ticket so we aren't responsible for the error.

            The Ticket DETAILS are attached
            I HAVE A 1000 ICOINS PRE-PAID CARD OF IBIBO.BUT WHEN I REDEEM THAT CASH IT ALSO SHOWS THE INVALID CARD.THE EVERY THING ON IBIBO IS WORST.

              Complete Refund not received

              I was booking a return ticked from Bangalore to Mumbai due to website failure the Bangalore to Mumbai ticked wasn't booked and only the Mumbai-Bangalore ticket was booked.

              The total round trip cost of the ticked was Rs 5,497. While booking the ticked I had clearly noted that the forward ticked would cost Rs 2,767 and the return would cost me Rs 2,730. But the refund I received was a partly sum of Rs 2,462.

              i played a real cash rummy game(game id[protected] of rs 50(winning amount rs 90) on ibibo but my opponent quit after the game got started.
              as per the game rules i should have won that game as opponent quit, but may be due to some technical fault i was not declared the winner and i had to quit after 20 minutes or so, so i lost an amount of rs 50. i then complained to them, and after 9days they have refunded me rs 50 to my rummy account regarding that complain,but i claimed rs 90 as rs 90 was the winning amount,i then complained again to ask for the remaining rs 40 but even after several complains from my side the did not respond to a single one.
              i would request you to kindly look into the matter and teach them a good lesson.
              i have attached a part of conversation between me and ibibo games.

                  I did check the details prior paying and also paid according to my chosen flights : Rs 6358 - Rs 600 = Rs 5758
                  If I would have chosen Indigo flights manually, I would have been charged according to : Rs 6076 - Rs 600 = Rs 5476

                    I wanted to purchase air ticket in the name of my sister Namita Pal on 01/01/12 from mumai to agartala for the date of 12/01/12 and return ticket for the date of 16/01/12.

                    -Money had been detucted from my account of Rs 12108/ for the tickets and ticket details was not mentioned.

                    - Immediatly I had contacted with goibibi customer care centre and they informed me due to technical error my ticket was not booked and my money will refunded to me within three working days without any deduction.

                    Then after in 65 days I have sent 9 reminders they also given two times false assurance to me about refund of my money.

                    Copy of my 9 nos reminder copy and goibibi assurance letter attached.

                    Please help me to get my refund

                    Even as of date 03/03/12 my money has not been refunded to me. How much more time will you take to refund .......? It is now more then 65 days .

                    I am not getting any responce of my mail and also advise me to whom should I approach. While enquiring all the time answer is same " within two days money will refunded to you"

                      This is regarding the problem I am facing with the refund processing from GOIBIBO company.

                      I had booked two tickets from goibibo.com site for Kingfisher Flight IT-3147 for Jabalpur to Mumbai for Nov 22, 2011:

                      It costed me 4590 INR each while booking.
                      Later the flight was cancelled by Kingfisher and hence I had cancelled the tickets. As per my discussion with Kingfisher, I had confirmed that the refund would be 100%. Same was informed to goibibo while raising the cancellation request but I did not receive 100% refund for these tickets. Rather the cancellation charges of 1000 INR per ticket were deducted unnecessarily.

                      I raised a grievience regarding same with GOIBIBO 3 months back BUT I HAVE NOT RECEIVED MY BALANCE REFUND AMOUNT of 2000 INR (1000 INR each) YET.

                      I had contacted Goibibo customer care multiple times but have not received a proper response yet. I had also escalted this to their team leader who had also assured me of the refund processing like his team members, but yet the situation is same. Everytime they either give me false assurances or ask me for one or the other documents in different formats whereas I had already shared ticket details, cancellation details and confirmation mails for 100% refund from kingfisher multiple times.

                      I am just fed up with all the follow-ups I have done with this team and I hope you can help me out in this matter.

                      I am very much disgusted with the follow ups I am doing with this company and no results.

                        I STRONGLY AGREE

                        I Made booking For Dated 12 march 2012 From Chandigarh to Bangalore Via mumbai flight of Go airlines.

                        There are 2 isseus.:-

                        1.) I made a booking on 30 december 2011 and due to some technical issues from your side the ticket was not been confirmed and the amount for the same has been deducted from my account. STILL WAITING FOR COMPLETE REFUND. Its[protected] today


                        2.)I called your help desk for the refund of the above said booking and they told me to go through with the fresh booking, so i made another booking for the same sector.and the same has been confirmed. Today after around one and half month i just tried to take a print out of the ticket , it says that the ticket is canceled though i received your confirmation mail.. When i logged in to your website, in my status it says confirmed but when i open the complete ticket it reflects as CANCLED.


                        AFTER STRUGGLING WITH GOIBIBO PEOPLE, NOW THEY ARE UNABLE TO PROVIDE ME WITH THE CONFIRM TICKET AND MOREOVER THEY ARE REFUNDING THE TICKET AMOUNT AFTER DEDUCTING THE CANCELLATION CHARGE. I THINK THIS COMPANY IS NOT HAVING ANY KIND OF PROFESSIONAL STAFF AND MANAGEMENT.

                          I have very very unprofessional and irresponsible workmanship being exposed at your end in just a few bookings: ie.

                          A family of my 5 friends was going to Jammu and I booked the same with you: on 8th Feb.

                          It was given transaction interruption in your collection site two times ( although there was no network or connection problem at my computer links). I got the message that the transaction incomplete and for about 20 minutes there was no display of ticket booking also and hence I re booked the same.

                          To my surprise in the evening I found that there was extra two times debit in my account , means your system's incomplete collection information was wrong and you had collected money even in the first instance itself and generated misleading information that the transaction was incomplete.

                          When I contacted your office they acknowledged the mistake and told me that the extra duplicate collection of money would be refunded IN FULL to my card very soon. And there came the display of abort information on these booking in my log in site of yours as well.

                          I continuously contacted your staff to know the development in refund case, they take ages to collect the final information from some different person/department ( our phonebill going in 100 at times- one instance your lady staff took almost 20 minutes to reply with details)

                          Today I have received a mail of one duplicate refund case (SGV9PTBL) which is 2000 Rs short ?????????? What is all this... are you serious in business or we need to stop dealing with such site with brand publicity that your dealings smell unhealthy financial dealings ???,

                          Please reply.

                          In another case you have charged two times for one booking ( (N9RVCD)- please explain as why you are doing so and if we need to question you strongly for such unlawful financial activities...

                          I still hope that all these things are happening due some miscommunication or by some unprofessional staff of yours .... please rectify the same and give respect to your customer with fair dealing in financial matters.

                              I have booked a round trip ticket from goibibo and i paid 7918.00 INR and i cancelled my one way ticket after confirming them. they told they will refund for same with in 3-4 working days. now after that i long conversation i had with these frauds. but no response.

                              my next step for these kind of companies is i am going to book a domian named www.Complaintsofgoibibi.com and i will publish of there scams over there so that in future they cant cheat any body.

                                  Below is the mail from IBIBO. 13 days back. Still they haven't refunded my money yet. I confirmed with my credit card company they are saying the same thing.                                   customer care service on the same day (15/01/2012), But customer care executive said there is no duplicate booking and I won't get charged twice for that But today I came to know that Goibibo charged me twice for a single ticket(Mumbai-guwahati round trip, phone no [protected], flight is on 30th Jan from Mumbai to Guwahati and return Flight is on 7th of Feb 2012, in the name of Hiramoni Barman) and I called customer care again and talked to Amit, He said I was charged twice and I also have a duplicate booking. I was shocked as asked the same question on 15th also, and they said I don't have duplicate booking. Anyway now I want my refund back ASAP. But Amit Said it will take 10-12 long days to get refund. I asked him ref no of my complaint for refund and he has given me the following GOFLD415BD[protected]. I request you to make it happen as early as possible and also want you to request for improve your transaction quality as I heard before also that it happens frequently in goibibo.com

                                      Site - Goibibo (Flight booking)

                                      I have booked a ticket on Goibibo online site for travel on 14th Dec for my dad, Mr. Suresh Prakash Khandelwal, and the ticket gets cancelled as airline did not confirmed the booking. (this itself was strange from a consumer's point of view, why do you give a successful transaction message until airline confirms). Neways, goibibo confirmed that full amount will be reimbursed to my account within 7 working days. On 11th Dec 2011 i got this confirmation. It was a connecting flight. Within 7 days i got reimbursement for the ticket from Kolkata to Mumbai, but the amount from Mumbai to Indore is still pending. Its been almost 1.5 months now and still the amount is pending from their side. I complained it to Go Ibibo customer care around 10 times, every time they say it will be reimbursed in 3-4 working days, but still i am waiting for my money.


                                      Kindly look into this issue as now i find it completely irrelevant to call to their customer help line any more.
