    We had a trip to Nainital recently vide above mentioned booking ID but I am Sorry to say that we had a very bad experience at The Emily. Though we liked the place at first sight, the management there was pathetic. There was no dedicated reception and nobody was there to take care of guests. We had to go to staff room/kitchen again and again for basic requirements like drinking water and milk for baby. We asked for drop to mall road In evening but cab didn't come for one and a half hour. Our entire evening was spoiled waiting at the lawn. Worse was when there was no water in washrooms next morning. There was no one around to listen to our problem and again our time was wasted looking for some help. Finally we managed to speak to the manager over phone and he shifted us to another property which was little better managed but not upto the mark. We went there just for 2 days to relax and enjoy but we ended up in struggling to find comfortable stay. We booked first time through goibibo and had a nightmare experience. The details and claims mentioned at Goibibo website proved to be false. It was all misleading information and looks like fraudulent. Also, the tariff mentioned at hotel premises was Rs. 3000 plus 17.42% taxes, while we were charged approx Rs. 6500 for a standard room. Our entire trip was spoiled just because of false claims by Goibibo. Furtehr, when I mail them about my experience they just said they will share the complaint with Hotel which they didn't even after 8 days of my mail. They seem to be not interested in their customers pains.

      To be very frank, Goibibo, the very favorite booking site, till my last trip. the discount coupons makes them uncomparable to any bookings site in India, navigating thru-out the site is excellent, easily understandable and they quickly makes refund. With all the goods said, here comes the attractive aftermath of their business after booking. I’ve booked for one night stay at a famous 4-star hotel in Chennai. I’ve cleared all payments including all sort of taxes prior. And I went to the hotel at 11pm, next day checked out before 6 hours ahead of my actual time to catch my transport. While checking out, hotel management in any hotels usually check for any outstanding payments(like the usage of their snacks or any others), in my case, they’ve asked me to pay 2500 rupees as a tax, even though having the fact that, I cleared all payments online before. I explained them, I’ve made all the so-said taxes and asked them to check the voucher print. But, those uneducated craps replied me you’ve only paid them and not to us. Then, I immediately called up Goibibo customer support at that urgent situation, and hardly waited for about 8 minutes to get them connected. Then I’m transferred to the hotel-issue handling department. there comes the unknown fact of tat favorite site(hate to say like now). A lady answered, and I explained her all the happenings there, and hearing to all, she replied in a very cool attitude "um-um. ohho. I can’t solve this sort of issues." Further while responding her to check atleast my payment on tax, she exactly done like "haha. we got nothing to do with what hotel management is asking you in this regard, I think you may need to follow them" the heck, you bi h, how can you hesitate to say them when I PAID ALL THEIR TAXES TO YOU, and for, what the f k you sit there to take calls. you crappy creature, you won’t deserve a single penny they pay you. And know what, you can’t spend even a single second as a customer-support faculty anywhere in this world other than Goibibo. Definitely not going to turn to this site over again. And for you Goibibo CEO’s and profit makers, don’t think of long live with such illiterate customer-support, and you are actually paying them to spoil each your efforts and ruin business.

        Hello Sir, I have booked Aranyam River Retreat, Mohanchatti, Rishikesh with check in date of 18th June, 2014 and check out date of 20th June, 2014 with GoIbibo with booking id-HTLUZ7XBVQ. I have faced so many difficulties while staying in the resort due to which I had to leave within a day. 1. The portal was showing 2 rooms left when we booked the resort but when we reach there, it was only 2 o[censored]s in the whole resort. We would not have booked the resort if we were aware of actual facts. 2. The portal also never mentioned that there were no fences around the resort, how can such an important thing be missed by them. Being a girl, I was very insecure and had to leave the resort within a day as trespassers were seen anytime. Even there was no guard in the resort. If it would have been mentioned on the portal, we would never opted for it, who will take the responsibility if something happens there as villagers have full access to the property. 3. Also, we opted for River facing room with all meals. But there was no buffet in the hotel. It was told to us that they cannot levy the buffet for 2 people. If that would have been the case whey we end up paying for buffet services. Even for Alcarta there was no menu card in the hotel. It is simply cheating the guests. 4. Also, the travel portal is mentioning SPA Services(chargeable though), yoga and meditation but on reaching there we came to know nothing like this ever happened there or can be arranged as there was no room for SPA services. If this was the case why they are fooling the people who wanted to go to such places to relax. Not only, I had to shed so much money as I have to stay at haridwar unnecessary for one day coz already had a train booking on 20th evening but have to face so much trouble and mental harassment in all this chaos and waste of time and energy. I had to even comprise my paid leaves for this trip which was all misrepresented by this travel portal. I would like you to take urgent action on them so that more people should not face same difficulties and help me to get my hard earned money back from this portal. Waiting for your strict action on the same.

        Hello Goibibo Team,

        Providing 50% refund will not solve my purpose as I have to incur the cost of hotel and other expenses in Hardiwar for a day unncessarily. Also, my whole journey was in vain due to this misrepresentation of data by your portal as well as Hotel website. I have to bear the to and fro charges of the taxi amounting to almost Rs 3200 as well to reach this hotel which would not happen otherwise. Request you to bring these issues in front of the merchant and help me to get the resolution on the same on urgent basis.

          i Got a call from Max Life call center phone no[protected] at 14:14 today, Sales consultant names "ADITYA SINGHANIA" that's what he mentioned . He has just no decency to speak to the customers, No antiquates to speak, No idea of what he is trying to sell . I request you guys to improve the Market facing people and then try to sell your product, cause sales people like these just hamper the Brand of the company . Incase you need more details do write to me .

          I hope necessary actions will be taken against the same .

                I have booked a hotel reservations from goibibo. Com on 8 th of June 14 from 9 th to 11 th June 14 in hotel Vikram vintage inn in Nainital wide HTL42Z648P in the name of Dr Sonal Gupta, for which they called up on 9 th that the hotel is sold out and the confirmed reservation is cancelled, we were two families and were on our way to Nainital, we're short of 100 Kms, asking what to do, they had no proper answer and had created a lot of inconvenience to our vacations, we were traveling in group of two couples with 4 children. They insisted on canceling the reservations and credit my amount in my bank for which I refused. The point is if due to some reason I would have cancelled my programme and demanded my refund they would have shown us the cancellation policy and would have forfeited all our money, now they escape with refunding the money and causing soooo much of inconveniences .what should be the penalty and should we move to consumer court . They had a very unprofessional approach towards this.

                  I have booked a return journey ticket from Bangalore to Nagpur on(10th June 2014) and from Nagpur to Bangalore on (11th June 2014). I checked on the cab booking tab as well while booking the tickets.
                  I did not received any details for cab booking.
                  On 30th of may when I called Goibibo contact number[protected]. I have been informed by Sushil that I will get cab details in next 30 minutes..which I didn't received yet.
                  On 8th June I called to check.. the cab status. Pankaj an customer care executive informed me..cab is booked and i will get the details soon.
                  Today on 10th June when I called again to confirm the details..Ashok an customer care executive is saying that no cab is booked as such.
                  Then why the fake commitments have been made on calls, you are fooling the people.
                  this is the most embarrasing service I have ever had in my lifetime.
                  Here onward I will never ever prefer any bookings from Goibibo.com.
                  every one is lying on Call and my call was on Hold for almost 20 minutes...it was disgusting and highly intolerable.
                  I will publish this details on social networking sites so in future other people may not have to face such mental harassment.

                    I had booked a ticket using GOIBIBO and the bus got broke down during the journey. We had to travel at our own. The bus operator agreed to refund partial amount and refunded money to those who booked directly from bus operator and for those who had online booking asked us to get in touch with them. GOIBIBO in my case. I wrote them several emails and raised several refund requests. But every time I was asked to wait for some more time. Its been more that 20 days and the money is still not refunded.

                      My airlines has rescheduled my flight. so I have cancelled my trip and waiting for the refund from past 1 month.Booking reference ID is NSGP7156Z, i cancelled my ticket directly through airlines.                             Goibibo is the worst agent I have ever come across. People here are right their staff don't even listen to what you are saying and keep repeating themselves. Especially when your ticket has been cancelled you would expect them to be a little empathetic. The airline had cancelled my onward journey and I have been told that it would take two months to get the refund, I also had to cancel my return and they advised me it would be around 3500 for cancellation. I get an email stating the cancellation charges are 5000 . The text they sent says the workings are in the mail but there is absolutely no workings or transparency in their process. When your travel plans go heywire the least to expect is a good service from your agent. Their call cemters suck - numbers not toll free - they put you on hold for ever and every one of tyheir agents lie and are irresponsible. Avoid goibibo. Period.

                            I totally agree with you.I have cancelled my flight ticket and I am suppose to get refund of around 37, 500 but more than 2 months are over and I haven't got any refund yet.they are making a new story every time I call.I have wasted more than Rs. 300 in just phone calls.
                            Avoid Goibibo!!!

                              I did my international flight booking (Booking No: AMD4ZNLCP) on 24th Apr. As per goibibo promotional offer for international flight (http://www.goibibo.com/international-flights/promotion/), I should have got a refund of Rs 1250/- for coupon code INTLON. However, its been almost a month and I'm yet to get it. I called on their customer care number and waited for half an hour for someone to respond at my expense but no luck there. In my email conversation with their customer care afterwards, I was told that it should have updated the new amount after discount automatically at the time of booking and refused that I had entered the promotional code. Attached is the screenshot of the entered code while booking. I made it particularly sure that I clicked the "GO" button atleast 10 times, as it had no effect on the amount. In doubt, I went ahead with the booking and hoped that I'll show up in the end or perhaps refunded later(sometimes). It's obviously an error in their site, possibly a bug. And they refused to admit that and cooperate.

                              Please note that we have had the matter investigated at our end and found that you did not enter the promo code in your booking.

                              Kindly note that we have attached and highlighted the screen shot of our technical log
                              which shows that the promo code was not entered manually by you when you made the booking on our site.

                              The technical logs auto captures the vital details such as name, departure and
                              arrival date, city pair, codes etc according to the details directly filled in by the passengers at the time
                              of making the bookings.Also please note that we have very clearly mentioned on the t&c that to
                              avail the discount the promo code needs to be entered so that the discount can be auto calculated.

                              Once the booking is confirmed and if the promo code was not entered the discount cannot be processed.

                              Hence, we regret that we would not be able to initiate the refund as requested in your previous mail.

                              I can't understand why is goibibo is not able to submit to the fact that there could be a glitch in your website. As I already mentioned, that I
                              tried multiple times to ensure that the code entered from my tablet but seeing no effect, I went ahead with the booking in hopes that it will
                              show up in the end, which did not happen(snapshot attached). So I'm forced to seek consumer forum help, when seeing no cooperation from your website Instead of defending your side from your disappointed customers, it would be more helpful to fix your site for tablet interface.
                              I maintain, I entered the code and I'm entitled for refund.
                              Kindly do it.

                                When you make a transaction with Goibibo, they have a EMI option only with Citibank and when you click on it - it says no processing fees and mentions the amount/month. Customer will think that Goibibo has done a tie up with Citibank and there are no processing fees. But when you credit card statement generates, you get the right figures(I mean with 12% interest). They have modified the iOS app now and showing 12% interest but website still doesn't show the same. I will stop goibibo from now and also advice my friends no to do the same. I have to pay 12% of 40000. Also I will advise my friends not to use the same site. Please find the screenshot attached.

                                  Pay 10, 000 more to the travel agent, but do not book through GOIBIBO.COM getting attracted to their deals. Book through them only if you have the capacity to spare hours together to break your head with them as they keep u on hold on the phone for loooooong time. In case of date change and re scheduling the ball is totally in their court. BEWARE ... BEWARE...BEWARE

                                    The return ticket did not got confirmed with the following message

                                      After making the payment for an international flight, I got a mail that payment has been done and e-ticket will be set within the next 90 mins. 1. Did not get the e-ticket for the next 15 hours 2. Here comes the highlight. When I called the customer care the next day, the representative was such a ill tempered and ill mannered guy that he lost patience within 3 minutes of our my call. Although clearly remember entering all my details while booking, he was making vague assumptions that I have not entered the passport details or I have entered the wrong mobile number. He even made a false statement that payment has been done 3 times which scared the hell out of me. Finally when he was not able to figure anything out, he started shouting that we don't have enough time to clear your doubts, just tell me what I am asking you, do you even know which mobile number you have entered etc. etc. I was like " Dude, are you even aware that being a customer care representative what is your job. " I gave my details on the phone and was told that I will receive the e-ticket within half an hour. I would love to get the details of the representative who attended my call and would be eager to make a personalized complaint against him for the way he treated customer. So, finally I would suggest everyone to invest few bucks more but don't use goibibo unless you want to face nightmares as a customer.

                                        Hello,
                                        I booked two tickets to Bangalore for 8th of April for my wife and myself from Gobibo.(Flight Number: 6E147). Booking Ref:6E/U7BRNZ
                                        The flight was cancelled and nobody even bothered to intimate me about the cancellation. I was informed about the cancellation at the airport and there and then assigned a different flight( Flight Number:6E125) which was scheduled to fly after two hours of the actual flight. This caused us a lot of inconvenience.

                                        I would like you to please look into the matter and confirm as to why this kind of negligence took place.
