I was booking an return ticket on 23rd January 2014.
The return ticket did not got confirmed with the following message

>> the flight and fare selected by you got expired by the time you reached the confirmation page. Therefore, we have >> aborted your booking and the full amount is being processed from our end.

I haven't yet received the full refund of the booking I have made multiple calls and have written email but still no goibibo is not refunding my money.

    After making the payment for an international flight, I got a mail that payment has been done and e-ticket will be set within the next 90 mins. 1. Did not get the e-ticket for the next 15 hours 2. Here comes the highlight. When I called the customer care the next day, the representative was such a ill tempered and ill mannered guy that he lost patience within 3 minutes of our my call. Although clearly remember entering all my details while booking, he was making vague assumptions that I have not entered the passport details or I have entered the wrong mobile number. He even made a false statement that payment has been done 3 times which scared the hell out of me. Finally when he was not able to figure anything out, he started shouting that we don't have enough time to clear your doubts, just tell me what I am asking you, do you even know which mobile number you have entered etc. etc. I was like " Dude, are you even aware that being a customer care representative what is your job. " I gave my details on the phone and was told that I will receive the e-ticket within half an hour. I would love to get the details of the representative who attended my call and would be eager to make a personalized complaint against him for the way he treated customer. So, finally I would suggest everyone to invest few bucks more but don't use goibibo unless you want to face nightmares as a customer.

      Hello,
      I booked two tickets to Bangalore for 8th of April for my wife and myself from Gobibo.(Flight Number: 6E147). Booking Ref:6E/U7BRNZ
      The flight was cancelled and nobody even bothered to intimate me about the cancellation. I was informed about the cancellation at the airport and there and then assigned a different flight( Flight Number:6E125) which was scheduled to fly after two hours of the actual flight. This caused us a lot of inconvenience.

      I would like you to please look into the matter and confirm as to why this kind of negligence took place.

        My email has been discontinued

        I was subscribed with Ibibo.com and I had an email account with them. They discontinued their email service and hence my email account has also been discontinued. I want to complaint about my data lost which was stored in my emails, I also had some useful and important emails which was needed for future use. I would request you to lodge my complaint and tell them to provide the data that was in my email account .I hope for some required...

        Please check the bus booking details. Booking Date :[protected] Travel Date :[protected] Time : 11.30 AM Operator : KPN Travels From : Coimbatore To Chennai Operator PNR ID : B[protected] GOIBIBO PNR ID : GOBUS3faf[protected] On 25th February 2014 morning operator people called and informed me that the BUS is cancelled. I informed to Goibibo for refund. But they are saying that bus is not cancelled and can not refund. I called KPN office, Salem and they confirmed me that bus was cancelled.           Its a tremendous joke which is being played with me running around since last 2 months to get my exact refund which I cannot understand Goibibo & jetairways which they have been playing with me.

          Its a very bad experience what I can say to post a good review on social site, I need an urgent conclusion to my refund

            Horrible experience of booking
            tickets from GOIBIBO


            On
            07.01.14, I got two return tickets booked from GOIBIBO for Delhi to Dubai for
            18.02.2014 by Emirates Airlines and paid the full amt. of Rs. 31700/- on
            07.01.14 itself to GOIBIBO. I got the mail also from GOIBIBO attaching my
            confirmed tickets and I got the print out of the same showing full detail and a
            valid PNR . On 18.02.14, I reached the Delhi International Airport 3 hours
            before the departure time which was 10.35 AM. When I produced the tickets for
            getting my Boarding Cards over the counter, I was shocked when the Emirates
            Airlines staff told me that the tickets produced by me have not been issued and
            advised me to contact my travel agent i.e. GOIBIBO for reissuing the tickets.
            It was already 9.00 AM and the closing time of the counter was 9.30 AM. I
            immediately contacted the GOIBIBO staff over their helpline no. They also
            admitted that there was an error while issuing my tickets, which they did not
            bother to inform me well in time and asked me to wait another 30 minutes to get
            them reissue the tickets and asked me to pay
            additional Rs10560.00 at the airline counter . When I protested to this,
            they showed inability to reissue the tickets in absence of advance payment of
            Rs.10560.00 I had to agree to get my tickets reissued. I was continuously calling them to expedite as
            the Emirates staff was closing their counter. At last, at 9.45 AM I was
            reissued the tickets and after lot of persuasion, I was the last person to get
            the boarding cards and we were allotted
            seat no 21 C and 31 G. We, wife and husband were forced to travel for 4 hours
            sitting separately in the flight. Our
            names were being called by the airline repeatedly as the last passengers and we had to run
            through the airport to board the flight. I had to face lot of trauma,
            humiliation & tension. Further, tough they assured me that they would
            refund me the amt. on my return, I had to wait another 11 days after my return to get my refund that too after various tel.
            calls, mails and submission of my
            identity proof, copy of ticket, passport.


            The above stated facts show the
            casual approach of so called efficient and reputed travel agency. I am a bank
            manager & we get lot of official tickets booked by other travel agencies,
            but never faced such type of harassment. This was my first and last experience
            with GOIBIBO. Now I will never
            dare to think of GOIBIBO for any
            type of service and would never recommend to any other person for GOIBIBO.

              My Booking No: GOBUSbef[protected]

              On 2 march 2014 I am suppose to traval in HEBRON Travels from Coimbatore to Chennai. In my ticket some one was boarded when the bus reaches Coimbatore, So the bus driver arranged me another bus which was very horrible.

              There was no A/C, bus didnt reach on time and more than that it was a very rough ride.

              I was communicating with hebron travels for refund, and they have accepted for refund and it has to be climbed from the goibibo web site.


              In addition with this, when i was booking ticket i saw an add posted " Rs 115 flat off on any bus tickets booked via goibibo website on using promo code BUS115. When I entered the code it was invalid. I contacted goibibo customer support immediately asking for the details of promo code, but the agent disconnected the call. My motive was not the 115 off, so I booked the ticket at that instance and it was an very fishy experience.

              Points to be noted,
              1) Equerry call on promo code to goibibo customer support was disconnected, and when the code is entered which was invalid even though the code expiry date was 31st of march 2014.
              "this add was in google search" which made me to book ticket through your website.

              2) I didnt travel in my ticket, which some one was travelling in my place, and no proper alteration was provided.
              " No multi axil, no A/C, no water bottle, time delay more than all of this an horrible travel with lot of pain".

              3) When I wrote an email to goibibo customer support regarding 115 promo code, I got an exact reply

              “Further to your query about BUS115 discount offer against the booking ID: GOBUSbef[protected]. We have gone through your all booking details and identified that you did not use any promo code related with offer.

              Kindly note whenever you make any booking on our website and put promo code at the time of reservation, system will automatically calculate discount.You have not received discount, as promo code was not accepted/entered properly during your booking.

              We do understand your concern however; we would not be able to refund the amount as requested in your recent email.”

              @ still now the promo code is not working, and they are making the customer as .
              Customer care do not hear what we are saying, atleast they have to check once when the complaint is made, there is no vale for the customers in India.

              My booked ticket of rupees 900 for multiaxil is not yet refunded.

                Dear Team, Recently I booked my ticket through GOIBIBO on 24 feb to travel on the same day from bangalore to tenkasi (GOBUSd6b[protected] . I got a call from KPN operator that bus was cancelled they asked me to cancel and confirmed that i would get my refund back. Then i called GOIBIBO customer care to cross check it then they cancelled it as Operator Cancelled and i have also got sms saying that refund will be processed in 24 hours. I have also taken confirmation from customer care to book a new ticket with other operator. Immediately i have also booked a ticket through Goibibo site only with SRS operator (GOBUS1a[protected] and next day 25th morning i got an email from ibibo saying that bus was not cancelled and so no refund. I called KPN Head office and they confirmed me that bus was cancelled. Then i called IBIBO customer care i explained everything and asked them to check. First instance they said no it was not cancelled ( i dont know with whom they have checked) then second instance i gave KPN Head office number and GOIBIBO customer care again checked with KPN Head Office and accepted that it was cancelled but still no reply from IBIBO on Refund. I had to travel urgently for Bereavement, in a short while bus operator cancelled the bus and i had to search for another bus to travel immediately, On top of it i am following it up for refund. Overall it was very bad experience by booking it through GOIBIBO not sure what went wrong. But i am being penalised without any reason so far. I followed up with GOIBIBO again still the reply i got from them is still same. I have also found many such cases on GOIBIBO and this is really bad. It will lead to negative publicity about GOIBIBO for sure. Regards, K Subramanian

                  Hi I am writing this email to make a formal complaint against Go Ibibo and Seabird Tourists. I am looking forward your support me on getting the harassment compensation and formal written apologies letter to me. I went for New Year celebration to Goa from Bangalore. I went Goa from Bangalore by Train on 29th December 2013 and for returning I had booked a bus ticket thru Go Ibibo on 11th November 2013 from Goa to Bangalore and travel date was 1st of January 2014. I paid Rs. 600 for the ticket Ticket is attached for your ready reference. Details of ticket is given below: Booking ID : GOBUSae[protected], Operator PNR: TS-RB6375881AUB/1595538/GOA-KWR-BNG-1, Boarding Point: Margoa (Near Ktc Bus Stand), Travels: Seabird Tourists. Passenger Name: Mr Faizurrab Faridy Passenger Seats: 4U, Status: Confirmed Departure Date: Wed, 1 January 2014 Departure Time: 18:30 Booking Date: Nov. 11, 2013 On date of my travel i.e 1st of January 2014 I got the sms from Go Ibibo for confirmation of my ticket and reporting 45 before the departure time. Also contact number of Seabird Tourists the Bus Operator was also given. The Number was [protected], and[protected]. I thought making a call for all the confirmation and pickup point. Hence I call on[protected], and given my booking details, the person who received said there no ticket booked by my name and the seat number 4U is actually booked by some other name. It was surprised and shocking information for me. I thought they must be checking some wrong information and I said please recheck and let me know they rechecked and confirmed me that there is no booking by my name and the seat which was allotted to me is actually allotted to somebody else. And I asked I wish to speak to somebody senior then I got to speak to their manager, they also said to me that there is no booking, when I said I have all the booking details hence recheck then after keeping my call on hold they said yes it was booked on 11th November but the same ticket was cancelled in November itself. That was even bigger shocker for me. Because I had not cancelled the ticket. And if it would have been cancelled I would have not been received the sms from Go Ibibo on 1st January for the confirmation. Neither I got the sms of cancellation from Go Ibobo. I started shouting on the person then he said since you had booked the ticket you better speak to Go Ibibo for the cancellation of ticket. Then I called on Go Ibibo customer care[protected] for the confirmation of my ticket. I provided all the ticket details to the CSE and they said that yes your ticket is confirmed and you can travel. When I gave the information about the communication I had with Seabird Tourists the Bus Operator they said they will check with Seabird Tourists the Bus Operator and let me know hence they put my call on hold. After speaking to the Operator they gave me the information that Bus is cancelled for today. Which was not correct because I already had the communication with Seabird Tourists the Bus Operator. The Bus was very much running on 1st Jan 2014. I said to them that you are giving me wrong information if Bus is cancelled then how come I got the SMS from Go Ibibo for the confirmation and reporting. I was literally out of control and started shouting on Go Ibibo CSE. He said we can’t do anything and we are sorry about it. I said I have to go to Bangalore today itself and since it was New Year rush hence I was knowing that I will not get the ticket and even if I will get it would cost be multiple times. I requested the Go Ibibo person to arrange any alternate for me which he turned down. He said I can check with the Seabird Tourists the Bus Operator. The I called the Bus operator again and requested for giving me any ticket in the same bus. They said they will charge Rs. 1800 for the same ticket. Now I was able to understand the dirty game of Go Ibibo and Seabird Tourists the Bus Operator. The Operator actually sold my ticket to someone else in high price. At the last moment booking in Goa during the New Year time the rates goes up multiple time. Since I had booked the ticket in the month of November it was much cheaper. The very bad thing about the whole incident is that they did not give me any alternative and they left me with no option. Such a fraud they did and top of it they were not concern how I will reach back to Banaglore. I was completely disturbed whole and my plans for that day screwed. I was in big tention how I will reach Bangalore and the same day I had to pay Rs.2500.00 for a single ticket against the Rs. 600 I paid to Go Ibibo. Just for the surprise I got the SMS and Email from Go Ibibo next day for sharing my experience of journey and rating their services. Height o[censored]nprofessionalism. I wish to teach a lesson to both Go Ibibo and Seabird Tourists the Bus Operator. They can’t be doing such fraud and they should be very sensible for the customer. Till now I have not got the payment I made to Go Ibibo. Now I want a harassment amount of Rs. 25000.00(Twenty five thousand) from Go Ibibo and written apologies letter to me.                     From starting of this year...some fake ids come and abuse people...and don't let us play...they hack our pc and hang it...!...some also cheat through some softwares...kindly please help us we are in a miserable condition...thousands of people are leaving ibibo games...because of those people...please help us.

                      I booked bus tickets from goibibo.com When I booked my Return ticket didnt get book even though my money transaction was done. Then I called goibibo. 1st i had to wait for 5 mins and then Ms.Bhagyashree attended it. She was rude and told me that the issue will be resolved in 30mins. I waited for 45 mins but still the issue didnt get solved. Then I called them once again then again i needed to wait for 5 mins then Mr.Ankush attended the call.He told he will rebook the ticket, which took him 30 mins to book the ticket, so i had to be on call hold for 30mins.And finally the ticket was booked. So totally it was 10mins + 30 Mins = 40 mins, nearly Rs.40+ I had to loose because of Goibibo's mistake. It takes 40 mins to book a single ticket ?? On TV it comes as Fastest booking. So now will goibibo refunding my Rs.40 ??

                        They are extremely unprofessional. I am trying to get a refund from them for an Air India flight which was cancelled by the airline. They initially said that there was no refund due. After I contacted the airline directly and got the ticket endorsed from them with the refund amount, they said they would check again. It took them 1 week to refund an amount which was less than what the airline had mentioned. Now I have been repeatedly mailing and calling them to no avail. Their executives have hung up my calls.

                          I have experienced the most dismal level of customer service from Goibibo. Here’s my experience:
                          I had done booking for a round trip flight from Mumbai (Departure 6th Feb to Bangkok (departure 12th Feb) for an Air India flight.

                          However, I had to postpone my trip due to the political unrest in Bangkok as the Thailand government declared an emergency & also warned tourists. I contacted your helpdesk on 3 different occasions and was given 3 different quotes for rescheduling charges. Finally on Feb 4th I was asked to pay Rs 21, 750 to reschedule my flight. I complied with their request.

                          However, late night post 12 o’clock I received a call from your customer care executive, Ashish to inform me that the flight cannot be rescheduled as the rescheduling can be done only upto 30 days of travel date.

                          Firstly, this was absolutely the wrong time to contact a customer. I was disturbed at odd hours for no fault of mine.

                          Secondly, why hadn’t you guys done your homework?
                          I had contacted your team on 3 separate occasions and none of the executives had the competency o[censored]nderstanding the terms and conditions of the booking!
                          Why was I asked to reschedule the flight when the only option available was to cancel it and book a new one?
                          The call lasted for nearly an hour and it ruined my sleep!

                          Eventually, after cancelling the ticket, I was told that the refund would be credited back to my credit card accounts. However, few minutes after the call got over, I received an email from Goibibo saying that the amount would be credited to my GoCash account!
                          This added insult to the injury! I had to contact your helpline once again (which would mean going through the endless queue for reaching out to an executive) & had to check with them. I was told that the mail was sent due to a system issue and the refund would be credited to my Credit Card accounts within 7 working days.

                          The drama continued till late night and it took a toll on my health which caused me to take a leave from office on the next day.

                          I have coughed up Rs 1, 01, 101 for the initial flight booking + Rs 21, 750 for the flight rescheduling. I was told that I would be charged roughly around Rs 20, 000 for flight cancellation. The tickets which I would like to book now are for a round trip flight (4 adults+ 1 child) from Mumbai (Departure 28th March) to Bangkok (Departure 4th April). As of now, 15th Feb 2014, I have received partial refund of Rs 61, 101 on one credit card account and Rs 19, 995 on my other credit card account. However, I have not received the refund amount of Rs 21, 750 (flight rescheduling charges).


                          In the meanwhile, I spoke to your customer care executive, Mr Ankit Goel on 5th Feb and explained him the situation. I requested him to escalate the matter and help me with a nominal discount (apart from the regular ones of Rs 3000 on the 2 split bookings (a: 2 adults & b: 2 adults + 1 child) which I will be making.

                          All I want is a suitable discount as a monetary compensation for the harassment I had to undergo to book-reschedule-cancel-rebook my flight. I was told that Ankit would be taking up this matter with his seniors and would revert on the next day. Till date, I have not received any revert on this issue. I have sent over 5 reminders via email. Alas, I just got a reply from Ankit saying that he was on leave-a lame excuse yet again!


                          With an organization of your stature, me as a customer expects some level of professionalism from your employees. Such kind of customer service is not acceptable and I strongly feel that you are doing injustice to your customers with such a dreadful service.

                            I had booked one bus ticket from goibibo.com on feb 8 2014
                            My booking number is : gobus052d[protected]
                            Sorry to say but I was highly disappointed to know that such renowned travel website can too cheat the customer.
                            As per your discount code or promotional code what ever u call it, I too
                            typed the code to get the discount .my code was BUS115 .i tried getting
                            the code from online but din get the same.so I called up goibibo office to get the code and youw representative had provided this code.

                            When I entered the code while booking, it accepted and gave me a discount of rs 115.
                            Later I made the payment. Till then it show code accepted. The amount of the ticket was 1600.after discount it came to 1485.
                            But when I got the mail from your side it showed 1600.
                            My acc was too debited with same amount.
                            115 rupees dont matter much to me.what matters is that the commitmen what made from your side fake.
                            I have used other websites for the same like makemytrip.but such nothing nevet happend.
                            Sorry but this way you not only loose the customer but their faith too.
                            In today's world when service sector is booming, such a service is really not appropriate

                              i canceled a flight ticket on 21jan. date of travel was 12 feb. (mumbai to chandigarh) pnr is MV6UH1 my mobile no. is[protected] email id is [protected]@gmail.com. but thay didnt refund my money yet... i have sent many mails and and many time i have talked with customer care. thay are saying that my refund has been refunded to my gocash account but i did nt get the the refund yet and i have sent the screen shots of my account to the company where clearly visible that my gocash balance is zero. thank you

                                I booked 4 tickets (450 per head) from Mumbai to Nashik journey. The total cost should have been Rs.1800, but I was eronnesoulsy charged Rs. 1900. (100 Rs extra)
                                Despite calling several times and logging complaints, the issue is yet to be resolved. The journey date was 10th Jan. Its 27th Jan now and still no response from the red bus support team.

                                  Hi, I have booked a bus ticket with GOIBIBO on Jan 4th, 2014 from Hyderabad to Mumbai for date Jan 4th, 2014 with booking id GOBUS677bc[protected]. I have reached boarding point one hour before the boarding time. I have called operator (number given in ticket) to know the bus location and when it will reach boarding point. But the bus operator replied that the bus has cancelled due to RTO check-up. Then I called GOIBIBO customer care number [protected] at 21:39 IST Jan 4th 2014 ( call duration of 14 min 46 sec) from my mobile [protected], the representative checked with bus operator and confirmed that the bus has cancelled and he gave two options to me. One is to choose an alternative bus for travel. Second is to provide complete refund. While discussing the things the call got disconnected and I have called one more time to same number at 21:55 Jan 4th 2014 (call duration of 11 min 51 sec), the representative checked with bus operator and confirmed that the bus has cancelled and he gave two options to me. One is to choose an alternative bus for travel. Second is to provide complete refund. As the alternative bus is far away from my boarding point, I have chosen complete refund and asked him to send a message regarding that. I have received a message from GOIBIBO at 22:12 Jan 4th 2014, saying "Your cancellation request has been submitted, we would send you the refund details within 24 hours". I have not received any information after that then I dropped a mail to [protected]@goibibo.com on Jan 8th saying I have not received any refund information for my ticket. But I got a weird reply from [protected]@goibibo.com saying, “As per the investigation done with the operator, we identified that the bus was not cancelled as per bus operator. Hence, we are unable to process any refund.” Then I replied to that mail with all my call details logs, and message information as a proof. [protected]@goibibo.com replied like “In case of bus cancellation we need to validate the same with the bus operator once they will process the full refund then only we could be able to process the refund”. I am getting almost same reply from Jan 11th Jan. I am not getting any other reply on this. I don’t think they are processing my request also. My ticket details as below . Travels: EMPIRE TRAVELS Shah Group (DIRECT BUS) Booking ID: GOBUS677bc[protected] Operator pnr : SHTRCEP[protected]SVR-1001 Bording point : Near Telephone Bhavan Lakdikapool . Looking for action on this.

                                    I had a very bad experience with goibibo.com. The hotels rates in your list are not at all upto date. I had booked for a room in Swinsea resort in goa.The charges which was shown on your website is different from what the actual price is.As a result i ended up paying more, It was a totally embarissing situation that i faced. Other sites offer better services than yours and ill never again use goibibo.com. Ill even make sure that all my collegues dont use your website.

                                      Total amount was displayed as 25892. So I clicked on "make payment" and made the payment. But I was charged 27342. When I contacted GoIbibo customer care, I was told that I should read terms and conditions where 290/person is hidden. As a website charging money from the customer for a service, isn't it their duty to display the total chargeable amount properly before accepting payment? Why is the onus on the customer to find the hidden charges? CHEATING at best. Also, I see that the complaint by Gupta was intimated to GoIbibo customer service long back. I don't see that they have taken any action to fix it because I have faced same fate even 3 months after the previous complaint was raised. They are continuing with the scam. Feedbacks are not getting fixed. Will never book with goibibo again and I wont recommend goibibo to anyone because this practice of hiding total charges from the customer is unethical and they can stoop down to any level.
