Not getting NOC from ICICI LOMBARD GENERAL INSURANCE

I got the general Insurance agent license from ICICI LOMBARD GENERAL INSURACNE in 2008 from Gurgaon Branch Haryana. April 2011 my license expired I do not want to continue and requested the company to give cancel NOC. 'ICICILom=007-929-762' Insurance Claim for Motor Car Esteem DL2CR6750

On 19th November, I met with a small accident by jumping on to a road divider, while saving a sudden appearance of a bullock cart on Rama Road opp. SBI Najafgarh Road Branch, due to which my car got damaged underneath.
I was surprised to learn from the surveyor that the claim was not entertain able as he was not supposed to entertain any claim if the damaged part or its connected portions were corroded.

Change in Premium amount

Hi,

I had taken a ICICI Lombard health insurance policy 2 years back. First year I paid a premium of Rs. 6249/-. Next year I got 5% no claim bonus and the premium paid was Rs. 5823/-. This year also there is no claim against my policy but I am informed that the premium I have to pay is Rs. 6141/-.

On enquiring I am informed that as per IRDA guidelines the no claim bonus cannot be adjusted against premium amount...

transaction by credit card

My salary account no. is[protected] it shows -10370.37 Rs due to non payment of credit card though I did not make any transaction ICICI Lombard Co had itself made transaction.
the company make start policy by phone only. and i don't agree than after they start two policy e of two was cancel and one is still running.
with out signature on any legal document how thay cany star my policy.

Dear Sir/Madam,

I am writing this formal complaint regarding a wrongful rejection of my windshield damage claim by ICICI Lombard under Policy No. 3001/[protected]/00/000 for Vehicle No. MP14CB2798, insured in the name of Mrs. Anita Jadon.

On 30 June 2025, a tractor carrying construction material hit the right side of my car, causing visible damage, including to the windshield. I filed the claim on time and provided complete information, images, and damage estimates. While ICICI approved partial damage repair, they denied the windshield claim stating the damage "does not match the cause of loss" — based solely on assumptions and without any proof or investigation.

Their claim manager also verbally admitted during a recorded call that the windshield portion was denied “on the basis of doubt, ” which clearly violates IRDAI Regulation 15 (4) that states:

> “No claim shall be repudiated by the insurer except for reasons communicated to the insured in writing and supported by relevant documents or evidence.”

I escalated the matter to IRDAI via Bima Bharosa. Despite follow-up, ICICI has not issued any clause-based explanation or valid justification, and now my rightful claim is being unfairly denied.

I request you to kindly investigate this matter and direct ICICI Lombard to:
1. Approve and settle my windshield claim as per OD policy terms.
2. Issue a written reason if rejecting, backed by physical or documentary evidence, not assumptions.
3. Consider compensation for delay and harassment caused by poor claim handling.

I received a call from the appointed surveyor, who, rather harshly, informed me that my claim cannot be approved. The reasons cited were contradictory to the benefits clearly stated at the time of purchasing the policy.
    I would like to highlight that I applied the eligible benefits while acquiring the policy in good faith. The rejection now appears to be based on overly technical or obscure grounds that were neither mentioned upfront nor communicated clearly during onboarding.
    As a customer, it’s disheartening to experience such a lack of empathy and professionalism, especially when your tagline proudly states “Nibhaye Vaade”. A promise should not feel like a loophole when it matters most.
    I request a thorough re-evaluation of my claim and a response that reflects transparency and commitment to the values your brand stands for. Kindly acknowledge receipt of this email and escalate this to the appropriate authority for resolution.

      Dear Team,
      I am using the motor vehicle policy of ICICI lombard and i have rasied the claim against damages (Accident) but insurance company has not paid the full amount against claim without any reason. He has given the justification to dealership check the photo and at the same time refuse this part because all the damages is not justified for loss. You are changing the all parts without approval.

      I am unable to understand why not justified and my vehicle is still stand in repairing center last 1 months due to claim not settled by insurance company. Apart from insurance company not doing the proper justification against claim why not approved full amount and nil support by the insurance company and so any single revert on mail and no any person contact to me for guiding against claim. Surveyor not pic the call multiple time from one months and customer care saying resolve your issue within 24 our and surveyor will contact to you within 24 hours but no insurance company support me and no any contacted last 1 months. Final claim status still pending as per customer care executive. I am not aware of TAT how will take time for this resolution. Customer care employee id [protected] and name suchitra.

      Repairing center advised i will remove the part which will fitted in your vehicle and you can take the vehicle. What will do of this unprepared vehicle. My vehicle stand in Rohtan Motors Greater noida Gautam Budh Nagar UP 201306.

      My vehicle was damages from the left side wherein damages parts are not justified by surveyor i am unable to understand why not justified.

        Re-evaluation of My Insurance Claim: Considering the complete documentation provided, I urge the authorities to review and rectify the unjust denial of my claim.
        Reimbursement of 1053 Euros: The amount paid for the incident needs to be reimbursed as per the terms of the insurance policy.
        Compensation for Stress and Delay: Given the prolonged and stressful process, appropriate compensation should be considered.

            I have lodged motor vehicle insurance claim vide claim no.MOT14271042 with ICICI Lombard GIC.

            I have got message on 17.01.2024 that my claim has been settled full & final for my motor policy claim no. MOT14271042 for INR 109782/- via NEFT with transaction ID CMS[protected].

            However to my utter surprise only amount of Rs 87, 183/- has been credited to my account. There is no explanation why there is short amount of Rs 22, 599/- .

            I talked to Surveyor of your company who has handled my case. He was unable to give any satisfactory answer.

            Requested to look into the matter and direct ICICI Lombard GIC to credit the remaining amount of Rs 27, 599/- immediately.

                When I purchase policy previous year for my parents they informed ya premium 10827 will remain same till age 60 but now this year when I got mail from icici Lombard it is showing amount 43 k how can in 1 year premium can increase to 4 times. It's a fraud from company i cannot pay that much

                  We have purchased following 4 nos of policies

                      I prashant vats went to a function on 18 March 2023 in my car bearing no. DL2CBB8880 with my friend Brahmjeet. I vehicle came and hit my car and ran away. I raised a claim in the said ICICI Lombard company on the same day. I have submitted all the relevant documents.Now they are demanding the CCTV footages of the road and my call details, pics and videos of the accident. I have provided all the things except the CCTV footages of the road because I don't have any access and I don't think there were any cameras at the site.

                        Firstly, I own Toyota Liva PB10GT2689 .. 2018 model, and its denting painting and servicing is all done by Globe Toyota Ludhiana from last 5 years. And also there has never been any delay in my Payment to Insurance company suggested by Globe.

                        Secondly, I lost my car keys on[protected], for which I am supposed to get insurance claim as i have paid key insurance charges and again I havn’t intimated insurance company ever before this about Car Remote keys being lost .. DDR Enclosed for your reference.

                        Thirdly, I have been facing this harrassment whenever I apply for claim … this is for the second time and I am fed up of this… After paying for Full RTI insurance also I am facing this problem

                        I am paying 16059 service charges and additional cost and I will never go for a TOYOTA PRODUCT ever in my life again.. and nor will I send my car to Globe Toyota again.

                        As I have being fighting for claim from last 5 days and work has not been initiated… And repeatedly I have been calling Mr Puneet ICICI and Ms Richa Globe and Mr Sukhwinder Globe again and again since Friday and not received a suitable reply when I have paid money for insurance why am i being denied of claims again and again when there is no gap in insurance.

                          I have taken policy for car insurance from Icici lombard.

                          But the company is denying full claim for my car

                          The incident was happened when i was crossing the Chanakyapuri circle near Annapurna road, Indore at 16th April 6pm

                          One vehicle break in front of me and i also break at same time so my car was touched with that vehicle at front side and another car also pushed back right side to my car.

                          So the car got damaged at front side and right side as well.

                          Company is rejecting the front claim which is inappropriate. Full claim should be settled

                          Please help me with claiming my full loss

                            I have done a workmen compensation policy through ICIC Lombard, i have asked to do some changes in the policy for minimum wgaes of workers. i had also paid additional premium asked by them, but they failed to provide me the updated policy. it was very urgent as my work order was pending with a company's HR . my work order is going to be cancelled if i fail to submit the policy and face financial losses due to it. please help.
