Hi I have purchased a car insurance from ICICI Lombard and the details are as follows:

Policy Number : 3001/[protected]/00/000
Policy Start Date :[protected]
Policy End Date :[protected]
Premium Amount (₹) : 3087/-
Previous policy: DCAR[protected]/00 (ACKO)

I have provided my previous year ACKO policy copy and its clearly mentioned 1061 CC but I received the new policy with 998 CC which is incorrect. I have asked them to correct that but they are forcing me to pay further premium for their manual error as on the year of my car registration the model does not have anything specific to 998 CC. I have forwarded the previous year policy along with my R.C. after I got the new policy immediately. I told them that car will be running on road so please resolve the matter immediately and update the CC. Even their pathetic call centre is telling me it’s their own error but anyway I have to pay. I don’t understand for their own error why should I pay as I never mentioned to urged to quote low and defer the CC, and its clearly their fault. I sent mail to their grievance team as well but no resolve until now. I am facing very much trouble for that as when I am driving my car I am thinking if something happens then what will be the case then. And I must tell you I have got very bad response and pathetic service for ICICI Lombard and I am feeling if this is the case for a general car insurance then I have my Term insurance with them as well, giving a though should I continue that with them? I don’t know. Waiting for a resolve and let it be clear from my side that I won’t pay for their error. Please help me out.

1. They are sorry and will resolve but nothing as its been so many days
2. They are asking for further premium for endorsement changes unless they can’t do anything ( but I am asking to correct their error, just revise the previous policy and update the CC as per the policy)

      Motor car insurance claim reject

      Motor insurance complaints(CLAIM NO- MOT[protected] policy no-3001/HI[protected]/00/000

      I own Hyundi vehicle HR81B4023 nios which I bought for this last year in February..and mishap occur with my vehicle on 20th NOV 2022 at 8:30pm. which practically body damage and engin is absolutely same and working just the body got damaged..next just my vehicle handover to body shop with all reports after that guarantee cycle start with bank...

          Hi,
          I have transferred my home loan from PNBHFL to SBI. My property insurance policy is of ICICI Lombard with Policy No. 1001/[protected]/00/000. I has to hypothecate this policy to SBI.

          Initiate I raised required on 29 sept 22 for hypothecation but the customer care said on 30 sept to contact my relationship manager. As my earlier relationship manager was not reachable, Mr. Bambale from ICICI Lombard called me on 4th Oct 22 related to my request of hypothecation and asked me to send certain documents.

          Accordingly I sent him all documented on 4th Oct 22 on his email vilas.[protected]@icicilombard.com and thereafter constantly in touch with him for the update. But he is giving me next dates. Earlier he said it required 30 days. Few days back I called him and now he said, 45 days are required.

          On 21 Nov. I raised complaint to customer care through email and raised my concern regarding delay and Mr. Bambale. The customer care inform me to assist but it will further delay.

          Today 7 Dec 22 also I made follow up mail with copy to GRO and Bima Lokpal. I hope this will help.

          Whatever is the reason but it is not my fault for which I am suffering.

          I need this hypothecation very urgently.

          Please help me to get the documents.

            Dont purchase ICICI lombard motor insurance policy, this company having very bad service and providing fake information untill you purchase the policy. I am suffering to claim insurance for my CAR damages. Dont purchase ICICI insurance policy

              My honda activa got accident so i given to Kanchana Honda Mangalore for the repair, i given my vehicle on 5.11.2022 still date its not repaired and after many followups i am getting stupide excuses saying that ICICI Lombard people are not responding t Kanchan honda for the claim, yester day i got a call from the Auto agency saying that it will take 15 day more time.

              I really wonder i was having insurance with cholamandalam insurance company some days ago this auto agency people called me and said we are now renewing vehicle insurance with ICICI Lombard.

              Scooter is very important for my job i am not able to go for my job past 15 days i am jobless no pay nothing i have to take care about my family my Childrens school fees and all why this people cant understand after serval request.?

              I requesting kindly resolve my problem soon as possible otherwise i am forcefully going to consumer court and requesting all people please stayaway from this ICICI Lombard for any kind of insurance..

                Claim for Policy S.9839673 dtd. 26.04.2018 SMART TRAVELLER INSURANCE GOLD PLAN issued by Bharti AXA now taken over by ICICI Lombard since[protected].
                I had booked 3 air tickets self, wife and daughter Mumbai to Kuala lumpur to Sydney. Air Asia flight was scheduled to depart on[protected] but was cancelled due to operational reasons. I immediately lodged compaint with Bharti AXA but claim was not settled.
                With great difficulties I had to booked by paying 108146 against 51603 of Air Asia the excess fare paid is 56543.00.
                I had filed compaint AHD G[protected] with Insurance Ombudsman, Ahmedabad and after many reminders they sent me Award copy on 23.06.21 denying my claim AND asking me to file fresh claim with other forum/court if not satisfied.
                I immediately wrote to Bharti AXA who in reply asked me to contact ICICI Lombard which I did but in spite of several emails they have not done needful to settle claim.

                  Dear Team

                  I have taken health insurance for my parents on September. I made the payment on September 20th 2022. They delayed it very long to provide me the policy document. They asked me to cancel the policy due to backend issue from their side. So raised cancellation on October 1st 2022. They didn't refunded my money back. It's been more than a month.

                  Till now I was asked to wait for 2/3 working days. No other resoultion I got.

                  I have escalated this multiple time. But no help. Escalation team is very worst in responding.

                    I was informed that my Smart health optimum policy by BhartiAXA (ESC/Q0129050/2C/10) is changed to ICICI Lombard insurance policy
                    (4190i/SHIPV/[protected]/00/000) but it will have the same benefits with an increased premium as approved by IRDAI.
                    The premium increased by more than 100% (from 4112 in 2020 to 8771 in 2021 to 9816 in 2022)
                    My benefits under the Smart health optimum policy had 5 lacs additional insurance for critical illness - attached policy wording from IRDAI website. I had opted for the 'optimum' benefit which was an additional benefit for Bharti AXA for Smart health optimum policy right from the start. I was told during the merger that the benefits will remain the same but ICICI Lombard is charging more premium which is somehow approved by IRDA. So I agreed to pay the 100% more premium.
                    Last year ICICI Lombard bombarded with reminder email in September 2021 for increase payment of premium with just a payment link of 8771. I request for a electronic policy document which they sent only in April 2022.
                    In September 2022 they sent a payment link of 9816. I kept my policy so that I can enjoy the same benefit. I have never made any claim since I bought the policy from Bharti AXA in 2016.
                    Now I hear that they have changed my policy benefits without informing the me. the response they shared
                    "With reference to your e-mail regarding request number: [protected], please be informed that SHIP policy expiring 12th April onwards has been withdrawn and migrated to SSHIP with Sum Incured - 5Lacs."

                    Now when I ask them to cover me for the critical illness which was part of my original policy with Bharti AXA since 2016 they are asking for an increase premium of 13, 313. This is a breach of consumer trust.

                    I didnot expect such sketchy proceedings from a respected company like ICICI.

                    Last two times ICICI Lombard has been sending payment links for premium payment on email and reminders everyday but they don't bother to send the clarification or policy wordings/ benefits for which they are asking for payment.
                    It feel like they are robbing the customer and this is some kind of scam.

                    The company didnot email me any logical description of the increase in the premium. They didnot mention why in the first place the add on which was part of my original bharti axa policy not included n mention for the new premium in icicilombard. How a premium of ~13000 for 5 +5 lac (critical illness) for a customer from 2015 compares with a customer of icicilombard? They just sent me a email saying the query has been resolved.. this is outright unacceptable.

                      My (BYD Electric) Car insurance of policy no.3001/[protected]/00/000. I put my car in an insurance claim on 25/8/2022 and our surveyor Mr. AKASH VALA agreed to claim the back side part of the car on the driver side but is refusing to claim the side mirror of the driver side. While Driving a Loading Rickshaw came and hit side mirror and back side of Driver side below charging point but Mr. AKASH VALA is refusing to pass the claim for side mirror of driver side and has passed claim for back of driver side. According to Mr. AKASH VALA as there are no scratch on side mirror he won't pass the claim of side mirror of driver side. Mr. AKASH VALA passed the claim for the back side of the driver side and gave us the car but when the car was delivered to us by cargo motors there were scratches on the side mirror and we showed them. Delivery people (Byd Service Manager)from Cargo motors send the photos to Mr. AKASH VALA of straches of side mirror on driver side but Mr. AKASH VALA is refusing to pass side mirror claim saying that he can understand by looking at the pictures that there are scratches but can't pass the claim as he would not be able to explain it to the department department.

                        Through this mail, I want to highlight the fictitious debits imposed in my bank account for the health policy purchases from Icici Lombard.

                        In the month of August, I purchased health policy for myself and daughter and paid premium of 50596/-This premium has to be deducted in 3 monthly instalments of 17317/- per month in Oct-22, Nov-22 and Dec-22.

                        To my surprise on 3rd Oct and 4th Oct my account was debited...

                        Dear Team,
                        I have purchased insurance from the ICICI LOMBARD before purchasing the insurance I had the conversation with one of your team member he told me about the 95% coverage called your in the insurance then i purchased it through online.
                        Now the concern is that in my OLA scooter, it has an internal damage issue and now the scooter is under insurance but OLA agent told me to pay 50% amount then i called again to ICICI LOMBARD customer care number then again your member told me about 95% coverage. Ideally OLA should not asked me for 50% coverage to pay. I won't be able to pay 50% of the total amount.
                        I request you to kindly do the best for me.

                        I won't be able to pay 50% and moreover why i should pay 50% when your team had told me about the 95% coverage by the policy company. When it was 95% then only i preferred the ICICI Lombard otherwise why ?

                        Request you to kindly solve the concern as soon as possible otherwise unfortunately I have to go legally with you.

                          My car got accident and it was damaged only 2 parts. They claimed insurance for only one part and other part of the damaged part in vehicle not claimed. They simply telling not matching and denied the claim. It is not fair. In accident, we not sure multiple damages may happen right. If you keep doing like this, then you will lose customer.

                            My wife had a pregnancy operation on 27/8/2022 at Yashoda Hospital, Kaushambi, Ghaziabad. I called ICICI Lombard health insurance customer care 4 times 10 days before the operation to ask whether there is maternity cover or not and that time all customer care people said that sir you have 100% cover and you can use it and it is cashless you don't have to pay anything.
                            I got my wife treated at Yashoda Hospital because they((ICICI Lombard health insurance) people told me that you have maternity cover otherwise I would get my wife treatment in some other hospital.
                            now after operation they are saying that it is not covered it is optional, If it was optional, then before the operation, I had called and asked so many times,
                            then no one said this, everyone said that it is coverd.no one told us in the last 3 years that it is optional, now they are treating it like this.
                            they(ICICI Lombard health insurance) all are doing fake commitments to people, making people fool, lying and doing frauds...
                            Even now they are not responding, when I am calling, every time from the last 5 days they are saying that they will call back in 24- 48 hours or 2-4 hours.

                            It's a humble request to do the needful.

                              My car met with an accident and got damaged. I have full insurance of my car with ICICI Lombard. After registering the claim, I got an SMS with the Surveyor Phone Number but he/she is not answering the phone at all.

                              The customer care is not much helpful as most of it is automated questions and answers.

                              My Claim No. is MOT 12569848.

                              I kept my car in the showroom and they are charging Rs. 250 for every 24 hours for keeping it.

                              Kindly get back to me as soon as possible.

                                muze payment karne ke liye kuch bhi problem nahi hota lekin icicilombard ne muze kuch bola hi nahi

                                aur main mere dad ka claim puchne gaya to pahale bole ki corona se death hue to claim nahi milega,

                                aur phir badme bola ki unka policy expired ho gaya hai.

                                We would like to inform you that we have reviewed your claim and regret to inform you that your claim has been rejected with below comments (attached rejection letter)
                                On scrutiny of the documents, it is noted that insured expired on 20 Apr 2021 and the policy was expired on 29 Jan 2021. Hence the claim falls outside the purview of the captioned policy.

                                Also note the policy period is from[protected] to[protected].
