I am writing to formally lodge a complaint regarding an unresolved issue with my travel insurance claim, which has been pending for over four months. Despite numerous attempts to resolve the matter, I have faced continuous delays and lack of resolution. Below are the details of the complaint:

1. Incident Details:

Date of Incident: March 17th to March 24th, 2024
Location: Munich, Germany
Nature of Incident: Damage to mattress in the hotel room
Amount Paid: 1053 Euros (Invoice attached)

3. Description of the Issue:
I was required to pay 1053 Euros for the repair or replacement of a damaged mattress during my stay at a Munich hotel. Despite providing all required documentation, including an invoice and confirmation from the hotel that no police report was filed, my claim was unjustly declined by ICICI Lombard.

4. Actions Taken:

Escalated the Issue: Contacted the National Consumer Helpline for assistance.
Insurance Company Response: Claim declined without a satisfactory explanation.
Communication with Insurance Company: Multiple follow-ups have been made with no resolution.
5. Request for Assistance:
I request the following actions to be taken:

Re-evaluation of My Insurance Claim: Considering the complete documentation provided, I urge the authorities to review and rectify the unjust denial of my claim.
Reimbursement of 1053 Euros: The amount paid for the incident needs to be reimbursed as per the terms of the insurance policy.
Compensation for Stress and Delay: Given the prolonged and stressful process, appropriate compensation should be considered.
I have faced significant mental and financial stress due to this unresolved issue and seek immediate intervention to resolve the matter. I request the Government of India to assist in addressing this grievance and ensure that justice is served.

Attached are copies of the invoice, insurance claim documents, and communications related to this issue.

    International Travel Insurance

    I went on a business trip in March 2024. during my recent stay at hotel from 17th March to 24th March, one minor accident happened resulting in damage to a mattress in my room.

    The incident involved an iron being left on the bed by mistake, which caused minor damage to the mattress(Attach is the Photo) As a result, it was necessary to replace the entire mattress due to the extent of the damage incurred.

      I have lodged motor vehicle insurance claim vide claim no.MOT14271042 with ICICI Lombard GIC.

      I have got message on 17.01.2024 that my claim has been settled full & final for my motor policy claim no. MOT14271042 for INR 109782/- via NEFT with transaction ID CMS[protected].

      However to my utter surprise only amount of Rs 87, 183/- has been credited to my account. There is no explanation why there is short amount of Rs 22, 599/- .

      I talked to Surveyor of your company who has handled my case. He was unable to give any satisfactory answer.

      Requested to look into the matter and direct ICICI Lombard GIC to credit the remaining amount of Rs 27, 599/- immediately.

      I have raised my grievance at multiple levels within ICICI Lombard GIC as well in different forums but I am getting stock the concerned team is looking into issue. There is no clarity or resolution. It has been five days. I am surprised at the pace Private Sector Insurance Company is working. It seems they are leaving with me no choice but to take legal recourse. In such case I will claim damages and compensation.

          When I purchase policy previous year for my parents they informed ya premium 10827 will remain same till age 60 but now this year when I got mail from icici Lombard it is showing amount 43 k how can in 1 year premium can increase to 4 times.             Cancellation of Renewal Policy not allowed

            I have renewed policy
            3005/[protected]/02/000 and called immediately to ICICI Lombard customer support to cancel my policy as this policy is not belongs to me and due to their mistake I got link in my email from ICICI Lombard to renew this policy.

            But they are not cancelling this policy and not refunding my money

            I have made the payment and I have rites to cancel the policy within 15 days for renewal....

            Health Policy Premium abnormal increase of 57% at one go for the existing customer of 15 years

            Am holding a Health Insurance Policy with M/s ICICI Lombard since 9th Oct 2008 and paying yearly premium regularly. Policy No- 4128i/IHIA/83338197/09/000 issued on 27 Sep 22 for the year consisting of a premium amount of INR 24181/ PA is due for renewal early Oct 2023. Have received a renewal intimation dated 16th July 2023 on 10th August 2023 by Post. Shocked to see the revised premium at 63% higher than the present premium for INR 37935/...

            We have submitted 4 nos of claim forms for flight cancellation / interruption in 2 cities i.e New York and Paris for 8th and 10th June 2023.

            We have purchased following 4 nos of policies
            1. Suket P Gohil policy No[protected] for US
            2. Suket P Gohil policy No[protected] for Europe
            3. Deepshikha S Gohil under policy No[protected] for US
            4. Deepshikha S Gohil under policy No[protected] for Europe

            We have submitted following 4 nos of claim forms

            1. Claim form for Suket P Gohil under policy No[protected]
            2. Claim form for Deepshikha S Gohil under policy No[protected]
            3. Claim form for Suket P Gohil under policy No[protected]
            4. Claim form for Deepshikha S Gohil under policy No[protected]

            Our total claim for 2 cities and 2 travellers is USD 704.3 + Euro 413.03. 44 nos of supporting documents (refer attached) were attached to put forward our case. While we received approval of only USD 206.24 which is not fair.

            I request to reassess our case and approve entire expense as claimed.

                I prashant vats went to a function on 18 March 2023 in my car bearing no. DL2CBB8880 with my friend Brahmjeet. I vehicle came and hit my car and ran away. I raised a claim in the said ICICI Lombard company on the same day. I have submitted all the relevant documents.Now they are demanding the CCTV footages of the road and my call details, pics and videos of the accident. I have provided all the things except the CCTV footages of the road because I don't have any access and I don't think there were any cameras at the site.
                It's been more than 1.5 month and they are saying that your documents need verification. The name of the surveyor is Mr. Vishvnath, his phone number is [protected].I request you to kindly look into this matter and help me solve this matter as soon as possible.

                  Firstly, I own Toyota Liva PB10GT2689 .. 2018 model, and its denting painting and servicing is all done by Globe Toyota Ludhiana from last 5 years. And also there has never been any delay in my Payment to Insurance company suggested by Globe.

                  Secondly, I lost my car keys on[protected], for which I am supposed to get insurance claim as i have paid key insurance charges and again I havn’t intimated insurance company ever before this about Car Remote keys being lost .. DDR Enclosed for your reference.

                  Thirdly, I have been facing this harrassment whenever I apply for claim … this is for the second time and I am fed up of this… After paying for Full RTI insurance also I am facing this problem

                  I am paying 16059 service charges and additional cost and I will never go for a TOYOTA PRODUCT ever in my life again.. and nor will I send my car to Globe Toyota again.

                  As I have being fighting for claim from last 5 days and work has not been initiated… And repeatedly I have been calling Mr Puneet ICICI and Ms Richa Globe and Mr Sukhwinder Globe again and again since Friday and not received a suitable reply when I have paid money for insurance why am i being denied of claims again and again when there is no gap in insurance.

                    I have taken policy for car insurance from Icici lombard.

                    But the company is denying full claim for my car

                    The incident was happened when i was crossing the Chanakyapuri circle near Annapurna road, Indore at 16th April 6pm

                    One vehicle break in front of me and i also break at same time so my car was touched with that vehicle at front side and another car also pushed back right side to my car.

                    So the car got damaged at front side and right side as well.

                    Company is rejecting the front claim which is inappropriate. Full claim should be settled

                    Please help me with claiming my full loss

                      I have done a workmen compensation policy through ICIC Lombard, i have asked to do some changes in the policy for minimum wgaes of workers. i had also paid additional premium asked by them, but they failed to provide me the updated policy. it was very urgent as my work order was pending with a company's HR . my work order is going to be cancelled if i fail to submit the policy and face financial losses due to it. please help.
